majorr catch up XD Starting main activity here XD

Oooh. she'd fallen behind a little, but they were moving onto the main activity now! She'd made fast friends with her little owl, happy that it seemed to like her. That would always be helpful for this main task. She looked down at her map. This was going to be good she thought. She'd read maps before of course, and loved exploring. So hopefully she wouldn't go off track at all. though she would have her owl to keep her going the right way. She popped a few more treats into her pocket before heading in the direction of the first location.

Hopefully this wouldn't take her too long.

Catching up (or at least attempting to! D: D: D: )

Star charting with OWLS? That sounded awesome! Scarlett was always hesitant at first about these joint lessons, but she had to admit - they were KILLING it lately with these activities. Usually she found the activities boring, as she was more traditional when it came to her study methods, but this was going to be fun!

Grabbed her star chart and her owl, she loaded her pockets with a few treats before looking at her companion. She'd never owned an owl before - only dogs and cats. It was a standard brown barn owl, but he looked - excited? If that was possible for owls? "Ready to go, fella?" she asked with a grin, handing the owl a treat to help him gain her trust. With that, she eyed her map and looked up at the sky, pretttyyyyyy sure she knew which direction she was going, and off she went.

We made it!!

Looking a little disgruntled but relieved to have made it to the end, Cameron approached the two professors and gave them a polite nod. This was the end of the exercise right? There wasn't another final puzzle to solve here or something? A glance at the students who had made it back before him didn't really provide him with much insight either.

Also, what were they supposed to do with the owl?

Harriet was so glad that the activity was over. Okay. So she had enjoyed it. But all that walking had tired her out, and she was glad she was done so she could have a rest now. The blonde sighed, glad when she had reached the lesson area again. Good. Now she could rest. Yes? She sat down, crossing her legs as she took a little rest.

but what now? Was this lesson over? Could she go? So many questions!

Scarlett made it back in time! She'd gotten a bit of a slow start, so she had been a bit nervous that she wouldn't be back before the lesson ended, but here she was! On time! With all her stars! She gave a final treat to Sebastian, who gobbled it up and then flew away to join the rest of his owl friends.

Sighing heavily, she took a seat back where she had been sitting before, happy with her results.

Despite her initial distracted thoughts which had her veering in the wrong direction at the very beginning, along with all the feelings she had encountered along the way, Skylar had finished. Giving her owl a couple treats from her pocket, she smiled as she approached the professors. With a weary smile, because let's be honest, feelings were exhausting and draining.

So was this the end then? She gazed from her map to the professors and waited...

He looked over at his friend and smiled a bit at the mention of Tris’s Aunt and Uncle, “I would love to see them, you know that. I might have a few weeks when I’m out of the country, but I will make a point to stop and see them.” He still wasn’t sure if he was going to Egypt or not, maybe that had been a nice pipe dream, and not an actual thing.

Ahh well.

“By the way, Chase and Kya want you to come by for dinner sometime as well, though be prepared, Ky might want to set you up with her sister. Though why she wants to set you up and not me.. ” Kal shrugged as he noticed the kids get back and he nodded at them.

OOC: You guys have about 22ish hours left

"I wish I had more than a couple weeks off. I'd go with you." He said with a sigh, but his duties were here and he had to be grateful for the time he did get off. Maybe he could talk Regina into another week off next summer...

Tristan chuckled, looking down and shaking his head. He knew what Kya wanted to set him up and not Kalen. Tristan was perpetually single and Kalen had girls coming at him left and right. "I would be more than happy to come, but please tell her no. I would rather find someone on my own than be set up by your sister-in-law." Not that he didn't like Kya...he just hated blind dates. "Plus, haven't you been writing a and seeing a certain Ice Cream maker. I don't think you need dates." He said with a wink and a grin.

Tristan looked around and started counting heads. It seemed as if everyone was back. He checked his watch and it was definitely time to finish the lesson. "Alright everyone! Great job! Please sign your name on the top of your star map and leave them in that basket over there." He pointed to a basket a few feet away from where he and Tristan were standing. "Have a great rest of the evening and we shall see you all at your next lessons. Good night!" He looked over at Kalen in case he had anything he wanted to say before everyone left.

Tristan sent a green spark into the air and all of the Owls flew off into the direction of the Owlery. Owls were so intelligent....

OCC: Great job everyone! We will leave the thread open for another 24 hours for anyone that wants to post leaving or finishing up etc. Thank you for coming to our joint lesson! We appreciate you all so much!

If she came back in a huff it was because she was in a big huff.
Storming to them she was flustered and it showed with her hair a mess and dirt on her robes from where she had fallen.

"Stupid tree, stupid owl, stupid class" she was mumbling as she headed closer to the professors, "Anyone see my owl?" Looking around she felt like she was late getting back, but if you had a run in with the tree you'd be late too. She wasn't even sure how she managed to fall in time to not get hit at all, but now look at her. The professor were mad for even thinking it was okay to do this stupid thing at night.

She turned in her things in and turned and stormed off to the castle.
