Yet here she was and she was enjoying it more then she had thought she would. "It really is. Having such a wonderful group of people to work with is very nice." Camilla nodded as she listened to Rose. Most of what she was hearing her cousin had mentioned to her once or twice. "Well ghost or not at least she was able to fill in for the time being and did a good job at it. I'd like to think the students like us, it makes my days go by easier," she answered smiling softly. Not many people wanted to be that professor that the children disliked!
The more this trip was spoken about the more Cami got herself excited for it as well. Not to much had been planed just yet but that was quite alright as they still had time to work out all the details. "Scotland, hmm. I can add that to the list. There's tons of places we can all go depending on how long we want to be gone for and just how fair we plan to travel." Traveling, exploring, hiking, camping. All of it was her thing. She didn't care if they were gone the entire break though she knew that wouldn't happen. Her positive outlook was one of the things that Rosalyn liked the most about Cami. She found herself nodding along to everything that her friend was saying. "I agree, and it also helps that I knew quite a few of them from Hogwarts." Even if it was only for a brief time - like Cami and River. A few of them had been at the school before her time, and Gaston and Hirsch had both gone to different schools, but everyone else had been at Hogwarts with her, and quite a few of them were in her age range. "It makes mine go by easier too, and I mean if you don't LIKE children and aren't friendly to them, I don't think that you should be a teacher." That was just her opinion, but yeah. Grumpy and standoffish teachers didn't do anyone any good in the long run, and only ended up being disliked.
Awesome! It sounded like Scotland was at least a possibility. "Wonderful. I'm quite flexible with things, so I'm good with pretty much whatever you guys want to do. We have loads of time to work all this stuff out." They saw each other quite a bit, so it wasn't as if they couldn't sit down and talk things over. Not like teaching and marking were the ONLY things that they did with their time here. |

There was just no point in keeping herself upset or angry, no one liked how that felt. "Exactly. I might not have gotten to know them all very well when I was in Hogwarts being I'm a few years older but I do remember them." Which was something. Plus she had Kay and that was a lot to her. "I fully agree. If you don't like children then you have no business being with them. Our job is to teach them, help them grow to be respectable. If you don't like children then you'll never be able to do that." Has always liked children, even more so as she got older.
Scotland would be added to the list once they officially made one. "As am I. Traveling is something I enjoy a great deal so I don't mind where we end up." They would certainly have a wonderful time anywhere they went.

| For Katerina / Pre-Monster TL Wowza! Though the stress of OWLs had been a factor since his fourth year, Levi had done what he thought was a pretty successful job at keeping it from completely taking over his life. But with them being so unfortunately around the corner, and his recent inability to get a full night's worth of sleep, well--sometimes everything sort of began to feel like too much and he simply found himself wandering around the castle, aimlessly.
Not that the he was supposed to, in any case, what with the curfew and all that but sometimes slipping out of the common room was too easy. Too many kids and too few prefects to look after them. And so, he'd found himself following the smell of the fresh baked pastries and ended up in Professor Salvatore's turf. Something he'd probably not done, usually, because she could be a little intimidating, but at least there was food.
Peering around to see if he was alone, Levi made beeline for the cupcakes he wasn't supposed to eat (his mother would be most displeased) and swiped his index finger over the icing before promptly sticking inside his mouth. HMMMMM. Very good.

HMMMMM. Very good. After leaving Professor Salvatore's office she had some questions about her homework that she really needed to know before she could start it. Astronomy wasn't one of her best subjects and in fact she was glad after next year when she could drop in it altogether. It wasn't that she didn't get planets and stuff. She just didn't click with it like she did with other subjects.
She had slipped up here to before dinner, so she had ended up skipping dinner, so thought that she could swing by the Astronomy professors bakery for some food, yes it would be something sweet and sugary but she didn't care. She was hungry never the unless. She might be bouncing off the walls by the time she was back in her common room. But again she didn't care.
Once she was there she looked a bit, what did she want? Seeing someone else there, Levi was his name right? Sneaking up behind him. "What are you doing?" Hopefully she didn't scare him.

| Wowza! Levi would have loved to say he was not actually startled, but he was. In surprise, the finger he was going to use to swipe more icing ended up dipping right down to the middle of the cupcake. Which ruined it, aesthetically, but at least he hadn't actually jumped or, Merlin forbid, screamed.
In his defense, it wasn't like Hogwarts was particularly safe these days.
He took a bite out of his cupcake as he turned to look at his new companion. It was, unfortunately, Katerina...whose last name he didn't know. Well, not unfortunately, because his previous blunders in front of the girl were not her fault in the slightest, but there was his ego to consider. Levi did not often spend a lot of time thinking about his ego, if he was in the business of being honest (and he was, usually) but sometimes certain feelings could not be helped. He was only sixteen, after all.
The boy swallowed, and smiled at her, though his cheeks were coloring pink. "Hello." Levi set down his half eaten cupcake and blindly reached behind him for another. "I'm hungry, and I followed the smell of food." He stretched out the cupcake for her. "Cupcake?"

He could be pretty funny at times. But that was so not the way to enjoy a cupcake. Grinning at him as he turned around. "Hi" She started giggling again. He had frosting on his nose.
Did he know? "Sure. I'd love one. I skipped dinner" And her stomach wasn't happy about that. At all. She took the cupcake with a grin. Taking her finger and swiping a huge chunk of icing off of the cupcake. "Thank you." Yummmm. This cupcake was pretty good. NOT as good as hers. But good enough for her hunger. She then took a big bite out of the cupcake.

Just another more thing to be embarrassed about when it came to Katerina. Or he would be whenever he found out. "Why would you ever skip dinner?" It was unfathomable. Though to be clear, he had skipped meals in the past, just not by choice; sometimes distractions could be a lot. Or power naps happened. "It's unhealthy. Were you just going to raid the kitchens later on your way down to the common room, then?"
Hufflepuffs. They had it all.
