The Three Broomsticks is the most well-known pub in the small village, which is why it is often rather crowded with students and adults alike. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way. It certainly looks better kept than the Hog's Head down the street.
Once you enter the pub, the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly in front of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate; however, if you're early enough, you can bet your galleons that you'll be nice and toasty by the fire. To the left is the bar where the bartender waits to take your order.

"A drink of butterbeer?" questioned Rachel. She and Esme had no definite plans except to spend an amount of their time in Hogsmeade for the day. This made her quite happy as Esme was one of her most favourite persons in the world. "Possibly something to eat as well. My treat.'' Her daddy had given her quite enough money to spend on Hogsmeade trips.
Rachel led the way to a table where she gracefully took a seat, smoothing her pink and white dress beneath her. She was awaiting a confirmation from her Hufflepuff companion on what to order but why not have a seat in the meanwhile? She rather had something to drink more than to eat at that time.

"Yes!" she told her friend enthusiastically as she joined her friend at the table. She could already taste the delicious butterbeer. What was she going to eat though? That was the million dollar question. "Are you sure you want to pay?" Rachel really was one of the best people ever but Esme had no problem with paying for her share of the meal! They were also going to take their time in eating because there wasn't much else that she wanted to do today. Yep. Spending time with one of her best friends was much better than being stuck in school and doing homework. Breaks from studying for OWLs were ALWAYS welcome as far as she was concerned. Especially when it came to subjects like history.

Rachel giggled. Esme was rather eager for Butterbeer. "Alright. I'll get a bottle for you.'' Her gaze trailed to the counter. She herself was trying to make up her mind on what to eat. "They make a great cheese sandwich so I believe I'll be getting one of those.'' Actually, she will get four but the other three will be for Haddie, Mel and Garreth. She nodded. "Of course I don't mind paying.''
"How are your studies for OWLs coming along? Is there any topic I can help with?'' Rachel may only be a third year but she was quite willing to help in anyway she could even though she already knew Esme would be securing all the passing grades. "Especially with Herbology and Charms. I can always help with that.''

Hehe yaaaaay. Esme was quite happy to be getting her butter beer. It felt like forever since she had last had one! Was it a good idea to grab a bottle for Juno? Her sister was bound to head over this way at some point or another though when that would be was lost to her. Even though they were usually inseparable, they DID go off and do their own things as well. "You are the best, Rachel." Seriously. She really didn't need to pay. Next time she would be covering the bill! Anyway... "I would love one too." So make that two cheese sandwiches!

She was the best? Rachel modestly disagreed. There were plenty of persons better than she was. "I would have to disagree and say that you are, Esme, but thank you.'' She smiled as she got to her feet. "Two cheese sandwiches and butterbeers. I'll be right back.'' The Ravenclaw was gone in a flash.
She returned a short time later with their order, wand held aloft as she levitated the edibles before her. "Do you get bored easily with studying?'' she questioned as she sat down once more and resuming the conversation. "You should try studying with a partner or some of your friends. I found that helps.'' Rachel took a sip of butterbeer. "Excellent! I'll be more than happy to help. You just need to let me know when you're ready for this study session.''
