You're in the middle of eating your lunch when...

SPLATT!!

a large glob of green slime lands in the middle of your plate. It's not the only one either; now it's raining all over the Great Hall, covering all the tables and students alike.

Where is it coming from?

It was not a usual morning for Ethan at Hogwarts. Firstly, he was runinning late, something he never did. On normal occassions, he'd be one of the first to make it to the Great Hall for breakfast and also one of the first to leave. It was his usual mechanism to avoid people. Yet, today this was not the case and whilst, generally late days meant grabbing a snack from the kitchen, Ethan resisted his urge to avoid people. Perhaps, his lateness was a sign for him to try to intergrate more. Although, how much trying could he really do?

The third year entered the Great Hall, although he didn't quite make it to the point of sitting. He'd made it to his table, but that was where he froze. Literally. Not moving a limb due to shock.

What exactly was this green stuff everywhere?

His first worry was getting his robes ruined, again. His second, was whether this slime was harmful? Hid third, was how would he contain himself to stay calm enough to ACT and MOVE or get out of here?

Calm down, Ethan, Calm.

He closed his eyes, tried to breathe and prayed that when he opened them again it would all be gone.

Never a good thing to have an anxious child in an uncomfortable situation.

Mason's stomach was literally growling at the thought of it being lunch time. He had quickly made his way to the Great Hall after visiting the bathroom for...business... Gotta need room for food and he had changed his school robes in to something more comfortable to wear.

Opening the doors to the Great Hall, it wasn't the smell of food that caught the Ravenclaw's attention but rather the green globs of slime that covered the place. He even saw a few still falling down from the enchanted ceiling. Strange. He was sure the weather today wasn't green goo...

Waving his wand and conjuring up an umbrella just in case, the fifteen year old turned to his House table and wondered if the food was untouched. However, when he stood next to the boy he'd met to during the feast, he realised that eating was out of the question for now.

He then curiously looked at the younger guy as he was acting strange by closing his eyes and whatever he was doing. Was HE doing this? Perhaps unconciously? Shifting the umbrella to his other hand and then he tapped him on his shoulder with his left one. "Did you do this?" his tone might have been slightly accusing...

It was getting harder and harder to not laugh as Peeves invisibly floated over everyone and dropped green slime on food and studentsies. EVERYWHERE GREEN SLIME. Just look at all them. Well now he just couldn't take it anymore and turned visible.

"I HOPE EVERYONE LIKES EATING GREENS"

Peeves was having so much fun.
