The Wooden Bridge Also known as the Covered Bridge, the Wooden Bridge appears derelict, connecting from the Courtyard. The appearance has been kept dated due to the natural environment surrounding it, despite attempts to improve it. Though the floor occasionally creaks beneath your feet, that is just for the effect as you can look out into the horizon from here safely. |
Gracee <3 Feeling a little too jittery about NEWTs, and it being the last year in general. The lanky, seventh year made his way out the castle. He did NOT going to feel sad about Hogwarts, to be very honest. He just felt confused about the life ahead. Something he had tried to not think about much. So kicking a pebble or two, and not really having a direction in mind, in general and right now, Noel made his way across the courtyard and to the wooden bridge. Pulling out his magically charmed earphones, he plugged them in and not feeling all that particular, played the first song on his playlist. |
Miss Lauren! Oliver had decided to go out on a run since he'd accidentally slept through his alarm set as 6am. He really has planned on going running with Brian, but who wants to wake up that early??? And before breakfast too?? No thank you. He'd try again tomorrow. For now, he was trying to find a good place to start but instead he'd walked all the way to the wooden bridge. Might as well rest while he's here. Ollie stopped and leaned over the edge and look out at the water. |

The girl smiled as she looked at the grounds. It was pretty, and she knew that she was going to miss it when she was gone. She headed across the wooden bridge, noticing someone familiar in front of her. Gracie grinned, poking him in the middle of the back as she got near enough. |

Offering his arm for her to take, Noel gestured her to walk with him. "So what's up?" He asked, turning off the music. |

Gracie smiled, linking her arm through Noels' as they walked. "The Sky?" She teased, grinning at him, before giggling a little. She looked at the pretty view before speaking. "I came out for a run" |
Quote:
"Run?" Geez. Was she the Benzi type? All athletic and stuff? She was so small, it didn't feel like it but who knew what went in that ridiculous brain of hers. "... I don't really think you need to run all that much" She seemed pretty fit to him. |
Quote:
"Yup." She nodded with a smile. She was planning on doing morning runs every day. She had to keep her exercise tolerance up. "Oh. I do. I need to be nice and fit for when I join the YATI program" |
Quote:
"So that's it then? that's what you want to do?" he mused, kicking another pebble in their way. "How did you reach the conclusion that you wanted to do this?" |
Quote:
"Yup. It is" Gracie mused with a nod. It had taken her a while but she had finally decided it was what she wanted to do. "I talked to one of Hayley's relations over the summer, and visited the auror offices. It's really cool.... I'm excited..." |
For Natethegreat! Austin, having happily come from the kitchen, decided to go for a stroll. Maybe even find a new friend. Who knew? In a place as big as Hogwarts, there were all sorts of new things to explore. Today, the fifth year decided to take a nice visit to the bridge. He hadn't been here since his first or second year, but it was as beautiful as he imagined. On the bridge you could see most of the grounds. He took a stop about halfway through and leaned out the window. A slight breeze indicated that fall was indeed here, and winter was on the way. Hopefully this year wouldn't have crazy amounts of snow. |
For anyone! Azura was slowly waking over the bridge, she was pleased with herself that she hadn't gotten any major falls yet! She leaned against the edge as she closed her eyes and sighed. Hogwarts was amazing but she kind of felt alone and slightly scared. Jazzy was better at making friends then she was and she bit her lip a little.. She pushed her foot on the floor as it creaked a little and she hoped that she wouldn't fall through it!! |

Now the first year was off to go someplace else to go and play his guitar! It's not that he didn't like where he was before but there was too much noise. Brady had his guitar in his hand and was running towards the wooden bridge up ahead. |
Quote:
Yeah, thinking would be a good way of putting it! "I'm Azura." She said by way of introduction as she pushed her black hair behind her ear as she looked at the boy.. before her purple orbs zeroed in on his guitar! "Do you play?" She asked excitedly.. before thinking.. Duh Azura.. he probably does play, people don't usually carry them around for fun.. |

Today she was doing rounds of the outside of the castle, or the stuff she could cover at least. The muggleborn didn't dare go near the forbidden forest hower. Rumor has it that a few years ago a boy, a Slytherin even, was brutally murdered in there by...by...her worst fear...giant spiders known as Acromantulas!!! Even the thought of it was gory. Skipping across the bridge, she nearly ran into another student. A ravenclaw by the looks of the color scheme on the clothes. The same house her twin was in...ooooooh how much fun she could have with this. But, Jay decided to just see were things would go. Looking up at the older boy, in a petite and cute voice the girl asked "Excuse me mister, do you know if it's true that a Slytherin died here a few years ago?" Just for a bit of extra effect, possibly even creepiness Jay added a little giggle at the end of the sentence. |

"Uh, yea. His name was Gregoire." Austin looked out over the grounds of Hogwarts. The teen's eyes fell over the Forbidden Forest. Back in Austin's third year, Gregoire and him had a... bit of an argument. Well, that was an understatement. They had an argument that led to a few bruises as well as detention. He would never forget scrubbing down all of those suits of armor. It really wasn't something he was willing to do again. That was the last encounter he had with the Slytherin. They may have seen each other in a class or two, but nothing major. Which made it that much worse that he had passed away at the end of that year. And by Spiders no less. Looking down at the small girl he said, "Do not go in the Forbidden Forest unless you have a professor." He really meant it. The professors knew where to go and where to stay away from. If it were up to him he wouldn't go in there at all. No one really knew what was in there. |
alyssa/arista Abby made her way to the wooden bridge and stopped and looked at the view of Hogwarts deep down she knew that she had better enjoy the last remaining amount of time that she had left at hogwarts |

Bradson blinked a few times. The his blue-green eyes looked at the girl. "You were just thinking? That's not what I got when I was running past you, miss." Brady pointed out. Then a thought that crossed his mind. "Are you afraid to cross this bridge?" He asked her. "If you are I can help you." He didn't mind, apparently that's what Hufflepuffs would do...help people. |

She blinked a little at herself! She hardly ever told people what she was actually thinking and feelings.. she wanted them to be happy! Hence why she had suffered through most of the train ride with a broken nose! "It's nice to meet you Brady." She said with a warm smile as she repeated her name in case he didn't hear her the first time. "Azura Kennedy, first year Ravenclaw." She added before smiling.. "My friend plays! He's supposed to teach me sometime." She said with a happy smile.. "What type of music do you like to play?" She asked him curiously.. |
For Hope love! <3 Spencer was feeling alot better now that he went to the hospital wing and was given a potion for his sickness, he was told to take it every four hours, he hated taking it but if it made him feel better he'll take it. After spending the last couple of days inside, Spencer decided to get some fresh air and enjoy the sunshine outside. Walking out of the Gryffindor common room towards the entrance doors, he opened them and smiled as the sunshine hit him in the face. He had no idea where he was going, but his feet seemed to know where they were going, so he just walked. After a few minutes of waking he stopped at the wooden bridge taking in the beauty around it. Deciding this is where he wanted to be, Spencer sat down took out his sketch pad that was in his bookbag and started drawing his surroundings. There were so many places around Hogwarts that he wanted to draw, but this was a start, maybe he'll show it to Hope once he's done. She always loved looking at his drawings and sketches, she told him that he had real talent, and she believed her for he knew that she would never lie to him. As the wind rustled through his air, Spencer kept on drawing changing colors of his pencils to match the colors around him. Spencer was particular about his drawings and sketches, they had to look like what was in front of him, the right colors and shadings or else it it didn't look realistic. |
Hope wandered around looking at the sky. She had just left the playground. She was 11 now and she thought that it would've still been fun to play on the playground, but it just wasn't as fun as it use to be. So she wandered around. She saw the whomping willow but didn't want to get hit by the branches so she started towards the bridge. As she got closer there were some students around, but one in particular caught her eye. It was Spencer! He was drawing. He is an amazing artist. She thought to herself. She didn't want to spook him so she mad sure to call his name out a little further down the bridge. "Hey Spencer!" She waved and smiled at him. She didn't want to disturb him while he was drawing, but she wanted to see him too. So she walked up to him and sat down beside him looking at his drawing. "Oh Merlin that's fantastic already! You pay close attention to detail." She gave him a peck on the cheek and inched away to give him a little room to move his arms so he could continue drawing. She pulled out her trusty book. And began to read. |

Jay was excited now!!! Well, not about the death part at least...that was rather sad. But she now had the kid's attention!!! So it was time to take him on a little bit of an exploration mission. Without saying a word the girl did the finger wiggle motion of follow me and turned her back to the older ravenclaw. Then she began to skip down to bridge from where she came. Only stopping once she reached the end to give another creepy smile and giggle. And another follow me finger wiggle thingy. |
IM late sorry! Quote:
She looked around and smiled, this was a good spot. The redhead took a deep breath and closed her eyes, it was good to be back in the outdoors. She opened her eyes and looked around wondering who was also enjoying the great outdoors. Seeing a familiar eagle she waved excitedly and walked over to her "Hey Abby!! How are you!?" Once the sixth year reached her she pulled her into a hug, letting her go she smiled at the girl. |

He'd only been at this for a week, okay. Exercise takes getting used to. At least he was breathing better and more effectively and all that. Increased lung capacity. And so he was on the bridge. And there was a person there. Maybe he'd approach. But he looked like death. He approached anyway, but instead of getting a "hi" out first, he kinda just flopped against the railing, looking down into the water. And only about two minutes later did he get a "heeeey." out. It was quite the afterthought. But Brian wasn't a fan of being rude so it would have to do. |

Turning to watch his steps as they walked, Noel nodded. "Legend Chosen?" He asked, looking at her. Benzi had talked to him too when he was obsessing over Auror stuff. "Well .. I hope it's as exciting as you think it is" He said, not knowing what else he could say. |
