"What did you do in that club? How to protect yourself?" the gryffindor playing with her braiding hair nervously " I think I`m too weak to club like that. I`d prefer to do something in peace. And I should tell you something,Mase. Whenever I tried to do something in peace, seems like the problems came to me.I am their magnet."

Pouting her lips playfully Jessie touched her nose to teased her " Is that so? Sometimes I feel like I`ve an old brother whenever he`s around me.I have no siblings. We talked to each other, conforting, or had an argument. To be honest I dunno. I just feel so confortable with him."


"I want to ask mum to buy me a snowy-owl for next term. It`s cute.Very cuuuteeee.....And I want you to give it a name.Pleaseeee? "

Mason gave a dramatic sigh and smiled at the Gryffindor, "If you say so. . ." she didn't understand why her mother had to give her name, though. Sure, she was Russian and she was pretty angelic awesome, but still. . .

"We've only had our first meeting, but it was kinda cool," she told the girl, "We had to divide into four groups and then we had an all out magical duel." The duel had been awesome, even if her group hadn't won.

There Jess went with the touching again. . . gawww, she hated it.

"I don't have any siblings either. . . thank Merlin for that, or else my parents-" Mason wasn't sure how much she could tell this girl, her family drama was pretty private after all. "Nevermind, sooo what did you guys argue about?" Changing the subject. . .

Name it? She wasn't very creative when it came to names, since her own pebble was named Steve. . . Mason thought for a moment before the perfect name popped into her head, "Zima," she told the girl with a smile, "It means Winter in Russian."

"Eyyyyy!" he greeted the other boy. Didn’t realize there was someone there. Even better that he didn’t accidentally hit him with the door. "Very cool!" the curly top nodded in agreement. The bright, silo-like structure is a thing of beauty in itself.

"My first time?..." he repeated distractedly. There is someone talking to you, pay attention! "Oh you mean in here? Yeah yeah... I don’t come here much. Never really had to. I mean parcels from home get dropped off at the common room or at the Great Hall so yeah...." Although he is starting to wonder if he should write home for kicks.

Was he a firstie "Yeah... New kids on the block." he grinned. "Name's Tenacius." he intro'd himself as he offered to shake the boy's hand "Are you a firstie too?"

Colt could notice the newbie written all over him. He was a firstie without even having to ask. He seemed to be a little distracted too. He seemed to be scatterbrained. Yup that was the term but he seemed the get the gist of his question. Aaahh so his owl spoiled him it sounded like it. "I have that too luckily. It is a pain the in the butt to walk all the way up here especially when it is cold." Don't get him started on the winter time. Colt grinned and knew it. "Nice to meet ya Tenacius. I am Colt. Colt Winchester." he held out his hand for him to shake.

"I am not a first year, I am more of a fourth year. I am little older than you but not by much." It was no competition. "Are you liking Hogwarts so far?"

Rachel scrunched up her nose. There were tiny animal skeletons on the floor. Suppose she stepped on one of them? She was sure she did not want to hear them go crunch! if she did. But she dearly needed to send this letter to her parents. They were supposed to be back at home now and she wanted to tell them all about the latest happenings and how much she was looking forward to seeing them again.

She started to pick her way through the sea of things occupying the floor, careful to avoid any skeletons. Rachel had already written her letter but she needed to add a post script so she was making her way to the quill and ink that was kept there in the owlery. "You can do this,'' she muttered and sidestepped what looked like a mouse's skeleton.

It had be some time since he wrote a letter to his parents. As he was the only child there were no sibling he would write to. There were his cousins but well he would be satisfied only writing to his parents.

He brought the letter he'd written in the common room with him to the owlery. Holding theletter in one hand he entered the room. He had to put the postscript first. He hadn't sent a letter from the school before this was his first. He walked over to the wooden desk to put the postscript. He noticed someone already standing there.

So it wasn’t only him who was missing home. "Hey there, putting on a postscript?" he asked then he felt kind of stupid asking that question. Well it wouldn’t hurt to start up a conversation.

Despite all of her caution and emphasis to not step on a piece of bone, Rachel actually did. She did it with the heel of her slippers causing her to quickly dash forward toward the table. She didn't want to look back to see what poor, dead animal's remains she had stepped on. Yes, she knew it was dead but still...

Rachel welcomed the distraction in the form of a familiar boy whom she knew by sight. Wasn't he a Gryffindor? She was still wary around that House's members but she didn't judge them all based on one who had started a food fight at the Feast. ''Hello. Yes, I am.'' She set her letter down on the table. "Would you like to add yours first? Or finish your letter, whichever it is that you have to do?''

He stood next to the girl as she was working on her letter. He didn’t mid the bones on the floor. His pet owl would always have them scattered in his room but now he was use to with all theses. Rachel tried not to act surprised but she could not deny that she was a little taken aback even though she had constantly told herself not to reserve judgement for those Lions. She smiled as she regained her composure. "Why thank you,'' she said and reached for the quill then dipped it into the ink. She lifted it to her parchment to add:

Thinking if he should wait for his owl or just take one of the school owls. The school owls also send their letters to the right place. But still it was better if he used his own owl Jojo he would take the letter right to his mother.

That seemed a better idea. Other than that the only problem was his owl was missing. Jojo come back here right this moment

The girl was continuing with her PS while he waited. Oh, that's no problem. Take your time. Jojo would be back any moment now. It's my owl.

Maybe i can have the PS ready. So he could send it when he's back. He took the quill as the girl handed it to him. "Oh Rachel. That’s a nice name. "Nice to meet you Rachel. I'm Gabriel in first year." In case if she was wondering.

"Hello. Do you think I could borrow you for a delivery?'' She held up her letter and waited for a reaction from the owl. If it wasn't bothered with her, then she would ask Gabriel to help select another.

And there he was Jo! Finally! He gave his bird a eye "What took you so long and where have you been. I was just about to use one of the school owls" he spoke to his bird as the bird landed on his arm.

"It's a He" Gab smiled looking at the girl "You can use mine. If you want?" he offered as she asked him about his opinion on the school owls. "I've never sent a letter before using a school owl. I don’t have much idea on that" he said apologetically. But he was sure Jojo would be up to the job. He was a good bird other than not coming on time.

"He is a good bird. He'll take your letter." he said attaching his own letter on the bird's leg.

"Take this to mum and dad" he told the bird and kissed his head. "Hey do you want to send yours? But then you have to have a treat for him. He wouldn't go unless you promise a treat" he told Rachel with a grin on his face.

Rachel looked around to see whom Gabriel was speaking to. "What a beautiful owl,'' she told him and went closer for a better look. She smiled at the offer of the owl taking her letter. "Are you sure he wouldn't get tired?'' the Eagle asked, making sure to refer to the creature as a male. "I would love to use him since you offered.''

"Owl treats? Yes I do!'' Rachel pulled a few from her pocket. "I thought I'd give it to the owl that will deliver my letter. Here you are, Jojo.'' She always believed that all animals (no matter how scary) should be treated properly. They did have feelings after all.

The first year waited for the owl to eat the goodies. "Will he let me pat him?" She did like the owl already. He was cute.
