That seemed a better idea. Other than that the only problem was his owl was missing. Jojo come back here right this moment
The girl was continuing with her PS while he waited. Oh, that's no problem. Take your time. Jojo would be back any moment now. It's my owl.
Maybe i can have the PS ready. So he could send it when he's back. He took the quill as the girl handed it to him. "Oh Rachel. That’s a nice name. "Nice to meet you Rachel. I'm Gabriel in first year." In case if she was wondering. Okay so what should i mention in the postscript? I miss you mum and dad? I love you mum and dad? Well any would do. They know how much he loves them and misses them. He kept the letter on the table dipped the quill in some ink and wrote.
PS: I love you and Miss you. Take care.
After finishing with his letter he kept the quill back in its place and looked over at the window. He could slightly see an owl coming towards the window. Well it was about time. "Oh? She isn't here? Or is it a he?'' She continued to scan the owlery, trying to decide which owl to choose. "It's lovely to meet you, Gabriel. I'm a first year too.'' Rachel had paused in her scanning to address her companion but then returned to doing the first task. "Do you have an opinion which owl would be easiest to coax down?'' she asked. She usually borrowed her friends' owls but she didn't see any of them there right now.
Her dark brown eyes were set upon a barn owl which looked less fierce compared to some. "I like this one.'' The Eagle pointed to the owl which seemed to be watching her with its great, big eyes. "Hello. Do you think I could borrow you for a delivery?'' She held up her letter and waited for a reaction from the owl. If it wasn't bothered with her, then she would ask Gabriel to help select another. |
