Before we know it, the train will be pulling into Kings Cross Station ready to take all you eager students back to Hogwarts, your home for the next nine months. With a new term comes a new chat so let's wave goodbye to the Term 41 school chat and say hello to the shiny new Term 42 school chat.

With the quiet, drama and death free term we just had I'm sure everyone is ready to head back to school. It's a proven fact now that we can have a whole school term pass by with nothing bad happening. This leads to the question. Can we have another quiet term where there are no threats of students dying or danger lurking around every corner? Will Headmaster Botros return or has the old guy gone and lost his mind after just one term leading the school (during one of the quieter terms)? With the departure of professors Dakest, Culloden and Morgan, will we find someone new sitting in their seats or will they be empty like the Care of Magical Creatures seat was at the beginning of last term?

There are just so many things to discuss here while you wait for the new term to start, so what are you waiting for?

Go. Chat. Speculate. But most important, have FUN!

I'm almost kinda mad. :/ I had to go to work and I figured that surely, surely nothing ridiculous and huge would happen in that short amount of time, at least nothing that could completely derail what I wanted to do... but now I can't do anything I wanted to do, like at all, and there's no point in me even posting at the house table.

I don't even care about the points. I just wanted to be able to play...

Oh sure you can post at the house table. Little Jay could always offer to help clean up, even though he had nothing to do with making the mess. ~~hint hint to some of you other snakes~~ Also, Anna still has her little firstie there. SLEEP ruined it for me I woke up and after taking my little sisters somewhere I come back to find that there was a food fight, it rained inside the great hall, 100 points lost, CRAZY FLAMSTEED, and now we have to clean....

He wouldn't do that though. He wouldn't even come out from under the table. He'd just sit under there eating a roll and wondering what is wrong with everyone in this school and if this is what he's gonna have to endure for the next seven years of his life.

I'll just... wait for the rest of the school to open. Probably won't take too long now, considering.

Is the hag really the divination professor? It's kind of weird that not even Moxley seems to know who the hag is and the hag isn't listed in the Merlin's Beard thread as being part of the staff.

Wasn't Moxley appointed like... five minutes ago? It makes sense that she wouldn't know everything before the term started, especially last minute appointments.

And putting her in the Merlin's Beard thread would have kinda ruined the surprise of her being the Divvy prof.
