Art's lessons usually begin with students walking into the lab, retrieving their white lab coats from hooks along the side of the wall (which you all wrote your name on during the first lesson of the term), and setting up their work space for the lesson. You can chat amongst yourselves, but nothing too full on.

Ariadne was pretty sure she ran into at least three or four more people as she made her way to the antidote the professor had provided. "Sorry!" she called out to all of them. She was starting to feel a lot worse. If she could just make it a few more steps and get her hands on that antidote, she'd be just fine.
HOPEFULLY.
Ariadne wasn't sure if she trusted the professor anymore after this lesson. How could he have missed the fact that some of his ingredients were tampered with? She guessed it could have happened to anybody, though.
She finally made it to the antidote and reached out for one. VICTORY was hers when she clasped her tiny fingers around the cup. She raised it to her mouth and drank it in one gulp, desperately wanting to feel better. How long did it take this to start working? Because she was crossing for fingers for IMMEDIATELY.

Art could see why Miss. Johanson might be worrying. "Err r-right. Well, err... take a sniff of your-your Standard Ingredient. Or... or you can b-bring it to my-my office later today and I can uhh... I can have a look for you." If there was something wrong with the stock, he'd be issuing a complaint!
He made sure Mr. Reed was on his feet and steady before darting off to see to the other students in need. Miss. Darcy seemed to read his mind, jumping to the Peeves conclusion. Art nodded at her, "Yes, yes I believe that too." He scratched his chin. "I-I'll be having a w-word with the B- the B- the Bloody Baron after this." Great Scott he couldn't even talk right! A shriek came, and Art turned to see Miss. Valentine sobbing into her cauldron. "Errrrr," he said awkwardly, and reluctantly walking towards her. "Oh dear..." he muttered. "I-I can s-send that off to the err.. to the wand repairer. Un-unless err... Pr-Professor Primeaux mi-might be able to help w-with a ch-charm for it."
Miss Lynch, and Miss. O'Donnelly were offering to stay back to help clean up. Art did a 360 look around the room. It looked atrocious. "T-that that would be good," he said, with a nod. "T-thank you very much."
"O-Okay everyone," Art said, once a glance around the classroom showed that everyone was back to their... well close to their original state. Minus a few drentched lab coats, and vomit stains, and tear-stained cheeks. "I... c-class is-is-is over. Y-you m-may leave and-and..." he had nothing else to say. "G-goodbye everyone," he said rather sadly. He was sure Headmistress Moxley was to fire him. Right after he cleaned up his room, he was going to go to her office and confess. "If-if you feel any l-lingering side effects, I ur-urge you to-to see your H-healer, or... or you may come to me. I-I am a trained healer." He said the last bit rather shakily. Why would these students ever trust the old man again? The healer was sure to strangle him, he knew it.
OOC: That's a wrap! Thank you so much to all of you for coming and making this class so much fun!

When the timer went off, Austin gathered up a bit of the potion in a cup, and handed it to his partner. He sighed with relief, happy to be rid of the burden. There was nothing he could do now except wait. Well, that and get some of the diluted poison himself.
Looking around, he noticed that no one was dead yet. Some people were unhappy, but no one was dead. It gave him relief, and strangely a bit of confidence. He knew he wasn't going to die. The professor wouldn't let that happen... right?
With a bit of a shrug, Austin went up to the front to grab some of the poison.
Grumpy... he feeling grumpy. Like, could they just get this over and done with? He was getting a headache. Ugh.
"How much longerrrr?" he groaned impatiently to his partner. "I'm sick of this, ugh... just... my head. Stop it."
Honestly he was feeling a little precious. WHY WAS NOBODY CARING FOR HIM?! Ugh... ugh, ugh, ugh. In a bit of a huff, Zeke swept his arm across the table, resulting in his notes book and a few ingredients flying to the floor. Not that he cared.
HEADACHE.
Bella sat there curled up a little while she waited for the five minutes to be up. She was trying her harder to not end up puking all over the floor like some others had done. In all honesty she didn’t feel up to finishing the potion, but she forced herself to continue. “Not much longer,” she replied to her impatient partner. She picked up a pinch of unicorn horn and added it to her cauldron and stirred it two times clockwise. “If it’s just your head that hurts I’ll switch with you.” She’d take a headache over feeling sick to her stomach any day.
She had just picked up the two mistletoe berries when Zeke swept his arms across the table and sent a few ingredients flying to the floor. “Whoa… careful,” Was he trying to ruin their last hope for a working antidote? Bella’s only thought now was to hurry and finish her antidote.

The time was up for her potion to be done... but the professor was shoving his own antidote into Kaycee's hand. Like... she'd done all this work, and she'd done it PERFECTLY. Did he notice how perfectly?
So maybe the Standard Ingredient was messed up. So... okay, so that was actually a really big deal. Dot still bottled a phial of her concoction, just in case, and banished the rest of it before cleaning up her supplies, her face creased in concentration. Kaycee was healed, and people were getting better... it was hard to be mad about that.
"Good lesson, Professor, even if someone tampered with the ingredients." She jammed her belongs back in her bag and offered the man a thin smile. "I did mine perfect, though, just so you know, and I'm very chuffed that someone tried to murder everyone. You probably ought to put a lock on the Potions store room, and also it was probably a Gryffindor." She dimpled at him briefly.
Austin grabbed a small amount of the potion and headed back to the station. He wasn't really paying attention to what Scarlett was doing, although he probably should have been. Instead he sat down on the floor, took a deep breath, and drank the potion.
At first nothing happened, and he wondered if it even worked. Sure it was diluted, but that didn't mean he shouldn't feel anything. And surely the students weren't making everything up? There were those who were stumbling around, and making groaning noises. Maybe... it just took a minute to kick in. He leaned his head back, and waited for what was coming next.

Olivia moved cautiously to get up from her seat to go across the room but she instantly regret it. Her legs and feet had only managed to go a step or two before giving way as the dizziness resumed full force. She couldn’t manage to catch herself, nearly crumbling on the floor. Ouch. That was sooo not a good thing. Nope…she was going to have to do something else as she wasn’t going to make it on her original plan. Except the other option didn’t seem anymore viable as a workable idea for this step.
Who would have thought…so much trouble for simple water.
She seriously debated giving up. Olivia didn’t trust herself to even make it back the short distance she had made to be back in her seat at the workstation she had shared with David. The Ravenclaw sighed and leaned her head in her hand as she worked on a decision and finally staying put. Her potion…antidote could wait. It wasn’t like it was actually brewing at this point. At least she didn’t remember adding heat to her mixture.

He looked briefly at Elsa who drank the real antidote, and all of a sudden there was an eruption of emotion coming from her, by strangling...no, hugging him by the neck. Jace, who's also soaked from head to toe with water and sweat combined, did not expect the contact, and was rather surprised by the outburst. "It sure felt like dying..." he agreed, not that he actually know what dying feels like. That's also the time he realized that his throat felt sore. He must've shouted really loud during his delusion. When he was released, Jace's face turned pink again and immediately gave Elsa a bow of apology. "Gommenasai, Elsa-san." he knew that it wasn't really his fault, but the antidote was his to start with. Somehow, he owed her an apology...at least a quarter of it.
He turned back to Azura, and could see that something was really, really wrong. Jace's cogs inside his head started to turn, assuming that she felt guilty with what she said. If he had hallucinations, then probably, her confession's a lie? If that was the case, then...the Ravenclaw felt a bit betrayed. Not because of the admiration thing, but because Azura's a friend. "I am now...I think I can say the same thing for Elsa." he said, nodding to her, and to his Slytherin partner.
Professor Art spoke once more, and they were all given the go signal to exit the room. As much as Jace wanted to help, his body and mind were saying otherwise. He can still feel the mild throbbing pain in his head, but shrugged it off as a side-effect. If it did persist, then he would have to see the healer. The school healer. The Ravenclaw gave the old man an apologetic stare, and turned back to his friends.
"I suppose we should all head back to our dormitories?" he asked as he gently gave Elsa arm pats. He was too tired to even notice that she was still holding him. She could let go of him now, yeah? "Lucky for you Elsa-san, your room isn't too far." As for the Ravenclaws, well...tough luck. Jace inclined his head towards his Slytherin partner again, and gave her his thanks. "Today has been eventful, Elsa-san. Thank you for partnering up with me." he said, and grinned at the Slytherin. "I'll see you in our next class." With a wave, he turned back to Azura. "Can you walk?" he asked almost in a hurry. "Let's walk back together to the Common Room?" it was an offer really, not a suggestion.

It took all of Azura's strength to just sit there and not bolt from the room the instant the Professor said that they could go. She wanted to take off and put this nightmare behind her!
But instead she stayed in her seat, and took a deep breath and tried not to look at Jace and Elsa as they hugged.
Though she supposed her feelings would have come out eventually!
She took a breath as Jace turned to her and asked her if she could walk. "Of course. I can walk." she said as she slowly rose from her chair. She nodded. "Yes, of course. Let's walk back to common room together."
It took a few minutes, but after them, Austin realized what everyone was talking about. His stomach felt queezy, and the people throwing up didn't help it. But the worst of it all was his head. He had a massive headache, and he was grateful for the dim lights of the dungeons. Suddenly, it seemed, his senses were aware of everything. He could hear every time the students next to them stirred their potion, and there seemed to be an odd smell of rotten eggs.
The teen pulled his knees up and rested his head in between them, hoping to drown out some of the noise. Sadly, it didn't work, because he could hear yelling. Something about a special ingredient? Or was it a standard ingredient? Why was there so much noise? What was going on? All he wanted was the noise to stop, and for his head to stop hurting. But everything that was going on just brought a ringing to his ears. He covered his hands over them in an attempt to drown things out. If this was what diluted poison felt like, he dreaded the day he'd ever have to take the real thing.

When the two minutes were up, the first thing Brooklyn did was look at the potion in her cauldron. Even with the still blurry vision, she’d been able to tell that Hady was okay, even before her housemate had offered to help c lean up the classroom. Just as she also could tell there was something off with the potion in the cauldron, as she glanced at the tiny cup she’d been ignoring before. She wasn’t admitting that maybe she’d actually brewed something wrong for once. The reasoning that there had been tampering with the standard ingredient meant that there was every chance she hadn’t made a mistake anyway, but she still wasn’t about to keep any of the liquid from her cauldron. It wasn’t needed, after all. She didn’t have to cure Hady.
Instead, she reached for her cup of antidote and swallowed it, thankful it didn’t taste quite as disgusting as the poison had. With the lingering effects, she probably would have vomited if it had. She could only hold back so much, and as the antidote started to work, she realized several things. First, she was soaked and that probably meant she looked like a ginger drowned rat. That annoyed her, and the annoyance was nearly visible as she vanished her tainted potion and packed her supplies up after a quick, unimpaired Scourgify of everything. If only she could Scourgify herself. She just felt dirty and irritated. She wanted a bath and maybe some cuddling with Tywin in the common room. She wanted to forget this lesson had ever happened, although she quickly scribbled the antidote instructions into her notes before she stowed the journal in her bag. She’d just try to brew it again later on, preferably without having to poison herself or deal with tainted ingredients.

Elsa rubbed her nose with her sleeve trying to regain some composure after her emotional outburst but made a disgusted face since her sleeve was all wet and sticky. What a mess... She nodded at Jace's words, feeling more like herself by the minute. It had been a really intense day."Thank you for being my partner" was her meek response.
She looked from Jace to Azura, opened her mouth to say something nice to her friend, but Azura was making a really weird face, something between crying and constipation. She eyed her friend quizzicaly and decided to say nothing. Maybe she isn't feeling well? She dropped her arms to her sides, releasing Jace from her death grip, and rubbed her temples. She needed some rest she could feel a headache forming.
"Yes, you're right, I'm lucky it's so close by, I'm not sure I'd be able to walk a few floors" she looked from Jace to Azura again and something knocked at the back of her brain, something about someone loving someone I"ll be going now. I really need some rest, I think my head is starting to ache. Hope you too feel better soon" she gave them with a tired but friendly smile. She then stood awkwardly for a moment, scratching her neck before directing her gaze towards Jace one last time "Again, thank you" she added bowing back like she had seen him do. It was not like she cared romantically for him, and she surely wasn't aware of why Azura seemed so.. constricted. She was just really, really, really thankful for being alive.
"Feel better too Az!" she added over her shoulder after gathering her things and leaving towards the Slytherin Common Room.

Poor rat man. Esme could see that he felt terrible for what happened. She frowned as she vanished the antidote that she had brewed. There was no way that he would get fired over something like this; she was sure that was what had him so worried.
After cleaning her stuff up, she walked over to him. "I'm sure everything will be okay, Professor," she said in the hopes of reassuring him. "I'm sure that Professor Moxley will realize that you weren't the one that tampered with the ingredient - especially when she knows how Peeves is." She was tempted to give him a hug but got the feeling that he wouldn't want one.

Austin really didn't know what was going on, and he wished for the noises to stop. It was too loud, and the longer it went on, the more his head throbbed. He pounded his fist against the table behind him, hoping it would calm things down. And when it didn't, he found it only increased his anger. He wanted to get up, run to his dorm, and sleep until the throbbing in his head went away. But his legs wouldn't obey. They stayed rooted on the floor, making sure he had to endure the noises of the lesson.
Before he could figure out an escape plan, a cup was placed in his hands. He figured Scarlett had finished making the potion, although the words in his ears sounded too deep to be hers. Did he screw up the antidote and gave her a deeper voice? Did the poison make her throat dry? The Ravenclaw didn't ponder on it too long, and downed the cup without another thought.
He slowly leaned back against the table, thankful for the relief. It didn't take away his headache, but it did drop the noise level, as well as remove the ringing in his ears. After a few minutes, he slowly got up and looked around, unsure of what was happening. The professor was looking rather upset, and asked the students if they needed any medical attention. Students were throwing up, and most of them were heading for the exits.
"Is my head supposed to still hurt, professor?" It wasn't nearly the pain he was feeling during the time of the poison, but he wanted to be sure. Austin wasn't taking any chances this year.

Madge nodded to the professor. She went about standing cauldrons upright first. Any with vomit she took her wand "Evanesco", a very handy charm she learned earlier in the year, and another too "Scourgify." for cleanliness.
Once she had done the cauldrons she set to gathering all of the ingredients that belonged to the professor, and set them on a table in neat groups at the front of the class. As she traveled back and forth to and from the table she righted chairs and stools. The mistletoe berries here, the unicorn horn there... now the standard ingredient that, indeed, had been tampered with. She turned to the professor.
"Professor, how should we dispose of these? After all they're been tampered with. Are they worth saving for another reason or?" she asked, holding up a bottle of standard ingredient so he would know what it was she was talking about.

When Professor Newton finally arrived to give Janelle her antidote, she was still afraid. Then she had a revelation. Either she could drink the antidote and risk the chance of throwing up or she could lay there and die. Hmmmm. Wasn't really much of a choice. With tremendous effort, she sat up and took the answer to her prayers from the professor.
With several steadying deep breaths, Janelle drank the liquid. After a couple of frightening gags, the antidote managed to stay down. Could she lay back on the floor now, please? After what seemed like an eternity. The room stopped its warp speed spinning and slowed to just a bit of wobbling. Janelle was finally able to sit up and her vision cleared. She heard the professor say that everyone could leave. Class was over. Not for Janelle it wasn't. She was going to sit there until she felt better. After all, she had a lot of stairs to climb to make it back to her Common Room.

Hady wasn't entirely sure what she was feeling besides the aftereffects of the antidote kicking in and the fuzziness in her head going away. The room was a mess and it stunk of sickness and ruined brewing potions. Even though she was soaked from whoever sprayed water everyone and somewhat embarrassed by her strange mumblings while under the poison she would survive. Stranger and worse things had occurred to her while here before and each time she pulled through. Bring angry or upset wasn't going to get her anywhere.
Quietly packing up her things after making sure that each item was cleaned first Hady then set her bag on her chair. Wand still in hand she gave Professor Newton a light smile and a nod of her head. "You're welcome Professor." It wouldn't hurt for her to stay behind and help clean up when it was needed. Slowly making her way around the room the fifth year took her time in cast several well placed 'scourgify's' on tables, chairs, the floor and other things as well as many banishing charms when it came to vomit that seemed to be everywhere.

Bella groaned against as she moved to wrap both arms around her stomach again. The mistletoe berries still closed in her hand. She was so close to finishing, but her stomach was turning horribly now that she wasn’t sure if she could continue. She couldn’t bear feeling like this anymore as her eyes glassed over with tears. With all the time that had passed there was no reason why she should still be feeling this way. She slowly moved her hand to add the berries, but ended up dropping them back onto the table. There was no way she could finish her antidote like this.

She was starting to wonder if this was some kind of test to let them know just how terrible being poisoned could be. If it was she completely got the message, but when Professor Newton said that the standard ingredient had been tampered with her heart skipped a beat or two. THEY REALLY WERE POISONED!!!! She would have rushed over to get the new antidote from the Professor, but she had a feeling that if she moved her battle against not puking would be lost, so she waited for him to bring it to her.
It took a few minutes after downing the antidote before she started to feel a little better, but she still felt a little weak. She gave Zeke a small smile when he thanked her for being his partner, still not ready to speak just yet. She slowly started clean up and gather her things so she could leave. This lesson would be one lesson her parent could NEVER find out about.
He was finally free to go. Which he had been wanting to do for what seemed like ages now. As the weird sight issues very slowly corrected themselves, the small boy pushed himself slowly off of the floor, still shivering a bit. His common room wasn't terribly far away... he would head there, and take a very long nap. And then when he woke up, everything would have corrected itself. Yes?
The small boy looked at Elliot, managing a rather weak smile. "Next time, I'll brew an antidote for you..."
Elliot had tried so hard to get it right and Jaemin hadn't been able to return the favour. It wasn't his fault it hadn't worked... he went about getting his things together, swaying a bit, and then slowly headed for the door.

The Ravenclaw watched Elsa gather her things, and waved back to her when she said her goodbye. Right, he ought to be doing the same thing now. Jace salvaged whatever he can from his notes, quickly copied the notes before them, and stuffed his parchment and writing instrument back in his bag. The Ravenclaw was apprehensive about approaching the professor, but he really should say his goodbye for the day. "Professor Art? I'm going ahead. Thank you for the valuable lesson." Nothing beats hands-on learning, correct? Not just...the life-threatening one, like this class which was a really close call. "Arigatou gozaimasu." he said inclining his head to the man, casted a wary glance at Madame Curie the Rat, and turned to join Azura.
"Ready?" he asked his fellow Ravenclaw. "You know..." he trailed off glancing over his shoulder and quickly took a look at the harassed professor, "I have a feeling that the tampering has something to do with the doll. What if it is the extension of the hag?" Jace asked Azura, momentarily forgetting about her awkward confession. "Whatever it is...I can't hide this to my papa anymore. I have to tell him what happened." he did promise his father he'd tell him right away if something fishy is going on. "I'd rather tell him now, than him hearing it from someone else." because really, Ryden would feel that he's not trusted by his youngest son. Jace wouldn't want that to happen. You see, he is best buds with his cool father.
As soon as Azura was ready, Jace lead the way outside the classroom, and up to the Ravenclaw Tower.

This antidote was getting absolutely nowhere. Pretty much just a crushed-ISH bezoar in a cauldron, and she wasn't sure how much more she could accomplish if this feverishness didn't GOOO AWAAAAAAY. Norah shut her eyes again and spent a very long time counting to ten on account of her head feeling like it was about to explode, then opened them slightly to squint at the fuzzy words on the blackboard. Two? measures of standard ingredient. Oooookay. Two largely inaccurate measures of that were added to the cauldron by a shaking hand, which promptly dropped the container on the table as soon as the ingredient was mostly gone. Before she could move away from the cauldron, the prefect coughed once, and then again, right over her potion. Whoops. Professor Culloden probably would've beheaded her for that one which would be GLADLY ACCEPTED if it would put her out of this MISERY. At least she couldn't feel so dizzy if she didn't have a head at all. Probably. Hopefully it worked like that.
Oh man. WATER? That either meant WALKING or MAGIC, both of which she was completely sure were not within her realm of ability. She sat down again and put her head in her hands. Merlin. This was not going to work. Yoongi would be stuck like this forever TOO. There was no doubt about it, this was a huge ginormous failure. One coughing fit later, she rose from her seat and ran her hands over the workstation until she made contact with her wand. There was no way she was going to make it all the way to the washbasin like this. Magic would have to do. "Auuguwameni" She gave her wand a wave. Nothing happened. Err. "Aguwamenty" WHY did the incantation keep coming out WRONG? "Aguamenti!" A few drops of water fell from the tip of her wand. She glared at it but the strain made her head ache so she stopped quickly. "Aguamen--" More coughing. "AGUAMENTI" Several more drops fell, but that was it. Whatever. That was going to have to be enough.
Hang on, what? Sam blinked as she tried to locate the professor and process what he was telling them. It took a while with how tired her brain felt.
Their ingredients had been TAMPERED with?
She'd literally JUST finished brewing her antidote, feeling less than right herself, only to find it was completely useless. Sam rubbed her eyes tiredly as she slumped in her chair and sighed. She didn't have the energy to even clear out her cauldron. It just sat there, the dark block of colour mocking her in her blurry vision.
And then a cup was shoved in her hands, by someone who she really hoped was the Professor and not someone else masquerading as such to poison her twice in one day. She drunk the antidote quickly, leaning her head against the desk as she waited for it to work.
