Ilia had been frequenting the owlery more this term than she had last term even. After all that had happened, she was intensely concerned with where Beltaine (her white barn owl) was at all times. She checked the owlery before and after classes now, not just early morning, lunch, and evening. Leaving any living creature that she cared about alone in this castle was a mistake that she would not be repeating. She still cried to herself when she saw toads.

Taking her feathery familiar down, she sat on the owlery floor and started petting her chest and around her head. The fact that her clothes could become icky didn't bother her. She could wash them after all and her slacks were black so you wouldn't notice as readily anyways. Her white blouse? Well....that was what cleaning spells were for. "Here you go pretty girl, I brought you something." She offered the delighted creature a handful of owl treats, which were readily gobbled up. Smiling, she leaned back against the wall and started softly singing to the happy ball of feathers perching comfortably on her arm.

He had forgotten to bring his bottle of hairspray which was probably still in the bathroom at home. A small version was in his bag but it was mostly used for traveling and he had taken it with him when he went to France during the summer, including his school bag which was where the mini hairspray had been in. But it was already empty and he NEEDED the other one.

But since he did not have an owl for his own, he couldn't send a letter to his parents to send it. So, after walking up to the tower, making sure to NOT look down as he did, he opened the door and immediately saw a girl sitting on the ground.

SITTING.ON.THE.GROUND!

Did she know how dirty the ground was?! He wouldn't want to sit there no matter how many galleons they offered him to do it. Nope. He made a face and then walked past her, searching for an owl as she was busy giving treats to her own owl. Was it her own? After looking around for a suitable owl, he sighed and turned to her. "I'm sorry, but do you know any owl that would be suitable to carry a package? cause last time i sent an owl it barely made the trip to London..."

Ilia continued praising her owl, until someone opened the door. Her singing stopped immediately and she watched him enter. Oh, it was Yoongi. She saw him make a face and her left eyebrow raised a little at him. Excuse you? Who are you making faces at mister? She had half a mind to throw an owl treat at the back of his head, but considering she was the only other not an owl in the room.....she probably wouldn't get away with it.

He needed an owl for a package? At least he seemed normalish again now......"It depends on how big of a package we are talking about and how far the distance." He needed to give her some specifics here. "If you don't mind telling me, I can probably point you in the right direction Yoongi." She flipped her long blonde locks over her shoulder and watched him as she waited for his answer.

This girl knew his name? Well, of course everyone knew his name. He’d be disappointed if they didn’t and now that he looked better, she looked really familiar. Had he spoken to her before? If he had he couldn’t remember. Not sure if he should ask or not, he was glad that she tried to help him find a suitable owl though.

“Well, it’s about this big…” he held out his hands. “It’s a hairspray bottle you see, I forgot mine at home” and he needed it. Now. “Last time I send an owl to my parents to send me my training clothes and the owl barely made it, had to recover for a week” poor thing. He looked around and spotted a barn owl flying to another little window. He walked to it and took out his letter he had written in the common room. He managed to get the owl on his arm and he turned around to look at the Slytherin. “You think this one will be alright going to Bedfordshire?” he asked as the girl flipped her blonde hair over her shoulders. She was still sitting on the ground.

“Why are you even on the ground? You do know its….dirty…right?” serious question.

She watched as he held his hands out, estimating what sort of owl he might need. Hairspray? Did this boy just say hairspray? He needed that as a package??? Almost took an owl out with clothes? Sheesh! She knew Yoongi was odd, but he seemed to surprise her every time they met.

This wasn't a time to judge his oddity or taste for girly things, he needed assistance and apparently so did the owls. She looked the owl over, it was slightly smaller than hers and she shook her head. "That looks like a male, probably a little too small. For something like that I might suggest a female? Depending on how heavy it is, possibly a Great Grey or a Great Horned owl."

No duh it was dirty, it was the ground? "I felt like sitting with my owl, there aren't exactly chairs in here." She smiled a little at the slightly older boy. "Dirt comes off you know? It is natural."

She had described him as awesome. Did Ava know that awesome was one of Adi's all time favourite word? Yes, it was! After happily telling the firstie that he was SUPER DUPER pleased to have her as a partner, he suggested they go for a stroll at the Owlery. And so here they were!

"Ready to get started, prankster Ava?'' questioned the older student, a grin in place. Man, did this girl know how much he ADORED her? The Burton siblings were just great! He looked at their card. ''Do an impression of a celebrity or a professor you enjoy going to their classes the most,'' he read. Adi looked at his partner. "Alrightey, Ava! Let's see your impression.'' He had a suspicion this would be EPIC!

"Oh, seriously??" The young lioness protested. Why he didn't choose the easiest first? Doing an impression was so DIFFICULT especially if she pretended to see someone famous or excited about something. Okay....

"OH MY GOSH, ALEC SUMMERS IS THAT YOU????" She fake!gasped and fake!squealed pretending that she had seen her favorite Quidditch player crush since she really had MET him before. "H.. Hi, I'm Ava and I'm such a big fan of you.... DONE! I'm done!" Now it's time for her choosing the card. Hehehehe.

"Admit something that worries you, or something you are afraid of!" Hehehehe.

See? Adi knew this was going to be epic! But was Ava doing an impression of herself? Hehe. She could before but ALEC! "Alec is awesome! He's really a great person, isn't he?" Yup, his buddy had gone on to become a pro Quidditch player. Okay, Adi's turn with the impression. He put on his meanest, most grumpiest voice. " Who told you students to come to my class without bringing me food?! Fifteen points from every House except Hufflepuff because they're the best. Now, take out your wands and clean your cauldrons!" That was Professor Culoden obviously though Adi had slightly exaggerated the part about Hufflepuff.

"Hey, Ava! Look! The question is disappearing from the card." Indeed, since they had both answered it, it was now being erased. Now to answer the next question. Ahhh. Fears. He had a few of those. "I'm afraid that my popularity and success so far in life will go to my head. Especially since I've got big plans after Hogwarts and if I do come through with all of them, it could happen..." The Puff trailed off as he met Ava's eyes. Did she under stand his predicament or did she think he was being silly? Already his popularity, good looks and Gobstones and classroom skills made him think he was very, very good and it worried him at times. But...

"Your turn, Ava."

Yes, Alec Summers! Dunno why but the first thing that popped on her head was herself fangirling over him. "I cannot imitate him, okay? He's truly great and awesome and nice and handsome. Also, he hugged me once." HEHEHE. Jealous enough? Maybe not. But seriously, it was such the best time of her life.

And now Ava watching him did the impression of... PROFESSOR CULLODEN! "Hold on, he DID cut all the houses' points including Hufflepuff. You cannot be biased like this!" Cue fake pout. But it was hilarious though. "You're not that bad in acting. Maybe you should be a stage actor." And now it's his turn to answer the next question. This once such a very deep serious one and not to mention that his expression also became serious. Well, it was real, not a fake-serious acting one.

And her fears? Hmm... "I'm afraid that.... My mom loves my twin brother more than me." That haunted her every time when she yelled at her because she caused troubles more. "You know that Teddy and I, we're so different that sometimes I thought that either one of us were switched at birth. He's more obedient while me..." Exhaled. "I tend to protest or speak out when I dislike or disapprove something, even with my mom." That makes her became quite rebellious. Well, she wasn't wrong though.

"Could you pick the next card?"

Adi grinned. "Yeah, he is.'' He was so pleased Ava had gotten to meet Alec. Just look at how excited she was just talking about him! He could only imagine what she must have been when she actually met the dude LOL. He laughed now. "He did take points from all the Houses but I could pretend he didn't take from Hufflepuff, Miss Pouty.'' Awwww! "Thanks! I was thinking more along the line of broadway. You know, with singing AND acting?" Hehe.

The Puffer listened to Ava as she continued speaking. NO WAY! This was some deep stuff! A hug was in order, yes? Ava got one of those squishy hugs. "I'm sure she does feel like that, Ava. It's all up here.'' He knocked gently on her head with his knuckles.

Now it was time for the next question. Already the second question had faded from the card. "Where do you want to be in ten years? A professional prankster?'' Hehe. Just kidding. Adi was kidding.

Broadway? It seemed like she had ever heard about that before but she didn't remember what exactly. But but... Adi singing and acting at the same time? The young lioness couldn't see it. "I think you're gonna be good in stand up comedy." Yeah, speaking in front of people saying something funny... It suited him very much.

Awww... he just hugged her! "Thanks!" Did it sound sad? Ava didn't mean to make a sad atmosphere here. "It's okay, I think that's just a normal feeling of someone who has siblings or even a twin." She remembered that when she was still in muggle school, some teachers and people always compared her with Teddy and she didn't like it. "Do you have siblings by the way?" She suddenly asked. If yes, his sibling(s) was (were) gonna be proud and happy. Especially the younger ones.

Where do you want to be in ten years? And she couldn't help but laugh when he mentioned being a Professional prankster. "I am NOT that prankster." Not yet, cough cough. She took a moment or two of silence because to be honest? She didn't really have any idea. "Maybe I can be a professional Quidditch player or an auror or potioneer or... I dunno. I haven't been thinking about that seriously?" What goes around, comes around. Just go with the flow. Besides, she's just eleven years old and which meant she still had some years to think about that. "What about you?"

And then.... NEXT QUESTION! "Tell me your biggest secret." Hehehehehe.

"So many career options,'' Adi mused to Ava. "I'll put stand up comedy near the top of the list.'' Hehe. "It's not a problem. I just wanted to be sure that you know that you're awesome just the way you are.'' He smiled brightly at her. "Nope, I don't. But thats why I've got you, Marsha and the others, right?" Gosh, since coming to Hogwarts he had gotten so many 'siblings'. Adi loved that!

"Oh, yes you are! And you're on your way to becoming an even better one.'' Yep, Adi knew about some of those pranks Ava had pulled. He was SUPER proud of her, you know. "I KNOW you'll be great at whatever you choose and whoever gets to work alongside you will be so darn lucky.'' Indeed! Did you guys see how hardworking the Burton twins were? Zhenya would be proud.

"I want to be the owner of a Hippogriff farm long before those ten years. Oh, and a Unicorn farm, too since AJ wants tons of unicorns.'' Hehe. Adi was going to be a pro Gobstones player also but he didn't know that just yet as the events that would make that happen hadn't occurred as yet.

Hmmm. Biggest secret... he didn't have those because he could be like an open book but he thought of something that hardly anyone knew about him. "I didn't think it was possible but I actually hate? have an intense dislike of? someone. I don't want to say who it is but yeah...'' Adi trailed off lamely. "Your turn!''

Adi said WHAAAAAAAT???

She's one of his adoptive sister!!! Too bad that he didn't have a real one but but... being her sister was such an honor, hehehe. Like she'd said before, Adi was cool and funny and awesome and.... There's too much good adjectives that could describe him. And the Hufflepuff prefect did mention working with Hippogriff and Unicorn. Yeah, the young lioness knew about his girlfriend since she's her fellow lioness and AJ was cool too. "Maybe you two could open a magical zoo?" Hehehe. "Also, does it mean that in ten years you're gonna marry her and have a bunch of cute kids?" Hehehe.

"I'm still eleven years old, and I haven't thought too much about that. I wanna be a Quidditch player but Hogwarts doesn't have it anymore. So that's why I mentioned the others." And he didn't have a secret? "You're lying!" Everybody has secret! What about her? "I uh..." She leaned to his ear and whispered. "I replace some cups at every house table with biting teacups." And it attacked three students, including Henric. "And a shoulder injury that I got before? Henric tried to levitate me but he failed so I fell down." But she lied to everybody that she fell down because she's climbing a tree. It wouldn't happened since she's an expert of climbing, okay?

Last question, finally!!! "Can I answer this one first?" Cleared her throat, she spoke out. "I don't know that I have older siblings until I was eight... or nine, I forgot." Weird, huh?

EEEP!

A MAGICAL ZOO! Adi had NOT ever thought of that! "That's brilliant, Ava! I'll be sure to consider that one.'' Yeah... who knew what Benny and AJ would think of that. He started laughing again. "Are you in my head, Ava?'' He winked. "Yes, marrying her at least is part of the plan.'' As for kids, if that was in their future, he wanted to have a biggish family. He did love kids as you all could see from his interactions with the younger ones here at Hogwarts.

When it was Ava's turn to share her secret, the Hufflepuff leaned down so she could whisper in his ear. He immediately started to laugh. "That was you? I should have known!'' How about giving him a high five, Ava? What an epic prank! "Let me in the next time you're pulling a prank, okay?'' Ehem. Nothing to see here, folks. This prefect wasn't encouraging pranks. Can't you see he had his halo on? Nuh uh. Ali says they are the devil's horns hehe But wait... WHUT? "That was Henric's fault?!'' Watch out, Henny! Just let this Puffer have a chat with you about that incident.

Woah!

"Really? That's quite a long time before you found out.'' So, something personal... "When I was smaller, I used to take all the scones my grandmother made, hide under the kitchen table with a jar of grape jelly and the scones and eat them all out.'' Hehe. Adi still had a fondness of scones, you know. Absently, he glanced down at the card. OH HEY! All the questions had vanished!

What? He'd never thought of having a magical zoo? Where on earth he had been? "Yeah, that would be cool. You want to open a hippogriff farm and AJ wants unicorns one. So, collaborate that idea and... BAM! Magical zoo." It was such a brilliant idea, wasn't it? If it's gonna happened, just don't forget that it was originally her idea. Hehehe. And awwww.... he wanted to married AJ! "Just don't forget to invite me if it's really gonna happen."

HEHEHE.

"What, you knew about that??" The young lioness widened her eyes. Did it mean he knew who was (or were) the victim(s) or that prank? Or maybe himself was the victim? And Adi gave her a high five. YAY! "Well, let's see if I come up with another idea." And having a Prefect on her side to arrange a cool prank? Wicked! It means she would be safe from the detention, right? "No no no. Henric did that but because I asked him too. We wanted to make basketball hoops and first he didn't want to do that." So partly, it was her fault.

"Zhenny spent most of her childhood with our grandparents in Russia and went back home because they both died. And our big brother Dimitri, he decided to build his own life and family. Went back home with his wife and son. He is very old and sometimes people thought that he's my dad." That was quite hilarious actually. Since her real father was too busy with his job as a healer, she often spent her time with Dima like playing football, watching muggle football league or quidditch, and any other else. Yeah, her family was quite weird.

Stealing scones? "How could you eat all of them in one time?" Talking about food, Ava has a quite obsession with muffins but when her mother baked them, she couldn't manage to steal and eat all of them. Just one or two... Wait, five of them. "And we're finished!!! Should we come back to the class now?"

Rooney wasn't terrible with his wand and getting it to do what he needed it to, but he lacked a confidence when in a public place on his own. That was why he had slipped Miss Marsha a note at breakfast this morning to meet him here in the owlery to do their Transfiguration homework, because he had overheard her say she was going to do hers today or tomorrow. It was today, though. Rocking on his feet as the clock struck 3, Roo looked down the steps once more and shuffled his attention to the owls there.

On his foot. Ugh.

Did that count as an object? He fought the urge to test out one of the spells on another poo pellet and instead read over his notes from class.

Marsha was far too excited. It was December and there was snow and it was nice and crispy outside and she felt amazing. She didn’t know how the Winter and cold fueled her energy more than most people - but then heat gave her energy too… so many the weather actually had nothing to do with it and SHE was just simply a ridiculous human.

AH WELL!

Laughing softly, she jogged up the tower stairs to the Owlery, loving the burn in her legs as she finally made it to the top. ”Hi Roo!” She said happily as she moved across the room, completely unthrown by the bird poop everywhere - this was their home after all. ”Oh, good. You brought your notes... “ Giggles sinnocently and makes a ‘whoops’ type face. ”I was just running and didn’t want to take my notes… I was hoping you would have your with you… That or I would have had to go and get mine.”

See, Roo. Your awesome. Yupyup.

”Where do you want to start? We could try turning poop into a matchbox or something? Might be more useful that way?” The redhead tucked her hair behind her ear and looked down at the floor. Hmmm….

Notes?

Rooney heard that word before he acknowledged who was here with him and that they'd even said his name. "Hi Miss Marsha!" He greeted the Gryffindor with a high-five and then waggled his notebook. "I don't go anywhere without it - you should know that." It was unfortunate that she didn't have her notes with her, but he had his and could help. Plus, his were probably more intense than hers, but that was just something that he did on an every day basis.

He followed her eye line to the poop on the floor and nodded. "I thought about it. Do you think that it would work? Start with a matchbox and then maybe we can use some of those twigs over there and turn them into quills?" Practice would make perfect, right?

And maybe if they worked together hard enough, they could try one of the harder spells that the older students had practiced in the lessons.

"Okay, so the spell is Flintifors and we just need to point our wands and flick up. Yeah?" Yeah? Was she ready?

Smiling, Marsha gave her friend a high-five back - more than happy to play along. ”I do, but I was ready to trek back to my dorm just in case you didn’t have it with you for whatever … really weird and random reason…” Yup, that was it. Nodding her head she laughed. ”But, I knew I could count on you! Always.” Yupyup. That was what friends were for after all.

”Well… The Professor said that we should try on various objects… and this is randomly various… How about we both try it and if it doesn’t work then we can do and try something else…. somewhere else.” Laughing, she took her wand out and held it in her hand as Rooney went back over the charm and motions.

SEE! Wasn’t he amazing? Hehehe.

”Okay… Flintifors and point and flick upwards. Got it.” She repeated… Just to make sure, you know? She pointed her wand towards the ground - at an area of dry-er pellets. Hopefully they would work better than… uh… fresh poop? Hehehehe.

Cough. Concentrate.

Poop to matchbox. Poop to matchbox. Don’t giggle. Poop to matchbox. Deep breath, don’t giggle.

”Flintifors!” She commanded as she flicked her wand upwards. Eyeing the poop on the floor she waited to see if it star- YES! … Well. Kind of. It was a matchbox, but it was white and looked sticky and gloopy… Not exactly what she had been aiming for.

”You try Roo… You’ll do better than me.” The Redhead said to the Ravenclaw, as she took a careful step backwards, letting him have his pick of the floor… and POOOOP.

Do better than her? Rooney didn't quite agree with that ideal, but he gave her a little squeeze to remind her that she had done nothing wrong whatsoever and that the spell just hadn't gone her way out of chance and had nothing to do with skill. "Okay, my turn.." The Ravenclaw offered his friend a smile before aiming his wand at a gathered pile of owl poop.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Try not to panic if it didn't work in his favour and he looked like a fool in front of Miss Marsha. Wand at the ready, in a point and then a flick followed alongside his voice. "Flintifors!" He'd almost coughed afterwards, the spores from the owlery taking over his lungs viciously. HOWEVER.. It had worked, thankfully. His wand worked just as he needed and there beside Miss Marsha's soft matchbox, was a fully formed one.

"Hey look, hey! Do you want to try again, Miss Marsha?"

Marsha smiled back at Roo as he gave her a small squeeze. Seeee, her best friends were amazing. Hehe. She took a step back so that he didn’t feel boxed - haha - in. Griffin, that was so bad.

Sorry, Roo. Bad puns shouldn’t have to be listened too - especially when they were surrounded by poop.

Watching the Ravenclaw, she nipped on her bottom lip as she waited. EEE!!! She jumped on the spot as she clapped, laughing happilly. ”Yes! It worked! I knew it would.” Beaming wide, she was more focused this time when she nodded and turned back to look at the floor.

”Okay… I can do this.” She muttered to herself as she took a few deep breaths to compose herself. She had been immature about the poop and now it was time to get serious about transfiguring it into a matchbox.

One that would hopefully be a nice pair to Rooney’s.

”Flintifors!” She said, picturing the change in her mind as she flicked her wand upwards. Beaming, she noted that she had a rather nice, sturdy looking matchbox on the floor next to her rubbish first attempt.

”YES!!” She said out loud, whooping a little as it worked. ”Awesome! Want to try changing the twigs into the feathers now?” That was the other thing that Roo has suggested… right? Maybe. Eh, they would figure it out. Hehe.

Rooney BEAMED as wide as possible when Miss Marsha was successful in her spell casting and then gave her a HUGE hug once more. "You did it, Miss Marsha! You did it!" Did she know just how proud of her that he was right now? Her matchbox was better than his, he was sure. Just from looking, it looked more stable than his did and ever would. She just needed the encouragement to believe in herself.

"Into quills, you mean?" Rooney nodded and checked his notebook once more. "The incantation is Scribblifors - do you remember that one from class? We used cutlery and stuff. Your wand needs to be pointed and then flicked to the right. I found it pretty easy, actually." He wasn't going to mention all of the cutlery he had used to try get this one right.

He thought that he would go first, just so she had time to get herself in the right frame of mind for this to go right.

Stepping towards the pile of twigs, he separated them into two gatherings and took the one to the left for himself. There were a handful of twigs there so he had a few chances to get this right. Wand at the ready, Rooney sent it towards the right lightly and instructed a firm "Scribblifors!" before closing his eyes and covering them so he couldn't see if it worked.

"DID I DO IT?"

Giggling, Marsha hugged Roo back. ”Thank you!” Her friend was amazing and awesome and the extra confidence boost definitely helped… Charms wasn’t her worst subject - but she never ever seemed to get it right first time. Darn Griffins. She’d just have to work harder - obviously. She WOULD get charms to work for her. That’s what practise was for after all.

”Yes, quills. Them.” Quills were made out of feathers? That totally counted right? Maybe… kinda sorta. ”Scribblifors.” She repeated, nodding. ”Yeah, my first attempt failed awfully.” She sighed, before giggling badly. ”My other attempts have worked pretty well though, so here is hoping that it works today!”

She grinned, watching as Roo took a step close to the twigs. Scribblifors. There we go, breathing in she waited. ”YES!” Jumping up and down with excitement, she bounded to him, giving him a hug. ”Well done!”

Then it was her turn. She lifted her wand and focused on the pile of twigs that were on the floor in front of her. ”Scribblifors!” Marsha said, focusing on the twigs. They would be quills. Right. Right? RIGHT? Pleaseeeee be QUILLS! She watched the pile and sighed happily as one of them worked!!! ”YES!” Though, on closer inspection, it wasn’t a perfect quill, but it was a quill none-the-less.

”Do you want to try again?” The red-head asked the Ravenclaw.

He had done it! And so had she!! Oh, the owlery was a good place for the both of them and their wand work, it really was. Rooney gave Miss Marsha's hand a squeeze and her a fond smile. "We should go see what food is left in the Great Hall later. Eat together?" Maybe they'd be able to grab some cake and ice cream if they wanted it. It was what they deserved after all of this hard work and the little stench that was the poop.

Again? Rooney considered whether he should try one of the spells that the older students had tried in their class.

But he was really unsure that things would go wrong and he didn't want to be shown up in front of Miss Marsha. "Sure, I'll go again.." He separated the quill he had already transfigured and pointed his wand at another of the twigs there. "Scribblifors!!!" Oh hell yeah, hell yeah!

He was so a professional at this.

Professor York was going to knight him or something.
