As you enter the large illuminated igloo, you might be surprised by the scene in front of you. A large ice hockey rink has been setup, complete with four team benches, two on either side of the ice. Each bench section is labeled with a house flag and that’s where you and your house mates should assemble.
Once inside your bench area, you’ll note that several pairs of skates have been left out for you, as well as several trays of paint. A floating sign above the skates indicates that those acting as painters need only to tap the skates with their wand in order to ensure they’re the right size and fit. Wondering why there aren’t enough skates for everyone? Well, a booming voice-thank you, amplifying charm-helps to explain just that.
“Welcome, students, to the ice art challenge! Each house will be tasked with creating an image of a snowman using, well, your skates, and the paint provided! Your job? First to Third Year Students will be acting as painters, lacing up and then dipping their skates in paints to help create the image! Fourth through Seventh Years will be responsible for partnering with one of the painters, acting as a Pusher! You pushers will help the painters get the desired look as best you can by helping to move the painter around on the ice! Only one painter and one pusher from each house may be on the ice at any time, to ensure no ice skating injuries! Once a painter and pusher from a house have finished their part, they will go back to their bench and tag the next pair! The house that completes a snowman with the most detail within the allotted time will be deemed the winners by your lovely professors! The clock starts now!”
SPOILER!!: OOC Instructions! READ FIRST
-You do not have to post your charries arriving! Just pretend they’ve arrived and gotten settled on their house bench!
-With that being said, your posts should be activity posts!
-Students from years 1-3 will be the “Painters.”
-Students from years 4-7 will be “Pushers.”
-So, in order to advance your team’s picture, there will need to be a pair of posts that consist of first, the Painter, and then the Pusher. The posts have to be consecutive. There can be no post in between a Hufflepuff Painter and Hufflepuff Pusher, for example, or else the posts won’t count. The pairs, when they’ve done their posts, cannot post for their team until another pair from their team has gone….(unless the activity level is dwindling.) So IC, the activity is that a pair must go out, draw the paint with their skates, and come back in and ‘tag’ the next pair to go out (pushers should indicate that their team is leaving the ice in their post).
-The objective is for the team to paint a picture using paint on the bottom of skates and painting the picture on the ice.
-Whichever team has the most pairs that have posted without there being a post in between them, will win the game.

Post 2: *Gryffindor Painter *
Post 3: *Hufflepuff Pusher*
^^^Hufflepuff would get no credit.

-Yes, those who've never skated, as well as the pushers, might fall. STILL, no serious injuries should occur!
Paul was one of the observers, VIEWERS of this....he was quit excited to see how the students would do. Ice skating was hard. He could hardly stand whenever he tried to ice skate. It was a funny sight.
He wondered where Moxley was...or Tanner...or ANYONE because he didn't want to watch the kids ALOOOOONEEEEEE.
He hoped they would find this fun? He thought it was a pretty game, at least? The way the paint glided onto the ice would be....ugh. Pretty. So pretty. He waited for the students to start PLAYING.

Justin was also one of the observers. He loved the good ol' winter as the New Year had passed. These were some lucky ducky students getting to ice skate out there. Boy ol' boy, it reminded him of his younger Hogwarts days.
"Good to see you, Paul." He grinned as he resided the spot right next to him, before friendly clapping a hand over his shoulder. "Looks mighty tempting to join in, doesn't it?" For now though, he could chill out and deal with providing moral support for the students.

Phillip, being Phillip, had seen the ice rink and gotten EXCITED. The idea of ice skating was great, and even more so if they were playing ice hockey. Why? Because they'd get to wear those hefty uniforms and growl and generally look terrifying. Sounded great, right?
What DIDN'T sound great was the idea of painting.
The Slytherin, who was just tying up his skates, stopped and STARED at the sound of the voice. Say WHAT NOW? There wasn't going to be an epic battle? No uniforms, no growling? Was he practising his angry growl for NO REASON?!
Disappointed. He was DIS. AH. POINTED!
The first year tapped his skates with his wand before holding onto a nearby railing to pull himself up. Was he steady on his feet? AHAHAHA, no! In fact, it felt as though Phillip was back in that one History of Magic lesson where he was standing on Hady's shoulders to grab the candy. But this time, he had no partner and he desperately NEEDED one, okay? Stat.
But he wasn't going to ask for one. Oh noooooooo! Instead, he was going to stand in the paint to indicate that he was ready and then look around him for any fellow Slytherins. There might have been an innocent, sad look upon the boy's face, simply because those things helped in these matters.

Dot was super jealous that she wasn't going to be able to be on ice skates. There was a neat transfer of skills between dancing and ice skating, although not 100%. Or maybe it was better, because skating was hard on the ankles, and Dot couldn't afford to hurt herself. What if she damaged herself forever and ever?
But it didn't matter, because she was a pusher, and so Dot headed up to the ice to look for a teammate. Oh! Baby Phillip was there, strapping on skates and getting painted up. "Yoo-hoo! Romalotti! I'm going to push you." It took a moment to acclimate herself on the ice, and then Dot was hurrying over to get into place behind him.
Good thing he was a baby snake, because Dot wouldn't have wanted to push anyone bigger. She could even see over his head! After a few wobbly steps, Dot found her stride, and she pushed Phillip further onto the ice to carve!paint their bit of the snowman into the ice. One circle. One biiiiiiig circle. And... done. Dot pushed Phillip swiftly back to the start to let their next team take over.
It had been a long time since his mom had taken him ice skating, but Henry vaguely remembered it as fun and he was kind of eager to have a go at it again, especially once he saw the ice skating rink. Were they going to be playing hockey? That would be awesome!
Unfortunately, they were not, Henry realized, as he was lacing up his ice skates. He looked up at the sound of a loud voice and listened to the instructions. Well, art was cool too, and he wouldn't mind trying to paint a snowman with his skates. And maybe they could play hockey after.
For now, he dipped his skates into the paint and glanced behind him for an older Hufflepuff to push him onto the ice. He was only a little bit wobbly, but he held onto the railing for support until it was his turn to go.

It seemed like Hogwarts threw some cool events this year. First, the breakfast camp, and then the Christmas and now they had winter event! She's so glad and excited for this. Quickly she skipped down to the grounds and saw an ice rink. Wooot, were they gonna do an ice skating? Ava was quite familiar with ice skating. She had tried it a couple times and to be honest, it was not easy. She still prefer rollerblading than ice skating for some reason. But today, after a long time since she did the ice skating for the last time, the young lioness started it again. Not just for fun, but for a competition.
EEEEEEPPPPP!!!! A COMPETITION.
She dipped her skates into the RED paint because she's a Gryffindor and put them on. Okay, she's ready to skate now! Where were the older Gryffindors that gonna help her drawing on the ice? She entered the ice rink and tried to stand still. But seriously, it's not easy.

She heard about the ice challenge. At first she thought that its troublesome. She just want to stay in her dorm and curled under her blanket because its WINTER! But then she thought maybe her fellow Lions needed her help. So with that thought she quickly went to the Hogwarts Grounds. As soon she get there, she heard the Headmaster explained to them what they need to do for the ice challenge. She just need to push someone from her house? And the best part was the painter has to be someone from first to third year. She could do that. That sound easy enough.
Candice headed towards the ice and saw that Ava was already there getting ready and stuffs. Okay, she would be Ava' pusher. "Okay, Ava I'm going to be your pusher." She said after she managed to stand in the ice. "You ready?" She position herself behind the first year and helped Ava moved around on the ice. And after a few pushes, one circle and another BIG circle later they finally painted a Red snowman. And by the look of it, their snowman not that bad. Candice pushed the firstie back to their starting point and she just need to tag the next Gryffindor pair.

There were a lot of competitions at Hogwarts. Oliver liked that. He liked to compete, because he liked to win. They were probably meant for students to get into the spirit of competition by banding together with their own house to have a friendly competition against other houses. But Oliver took the term friendly competition very loosely. He would compete his hardest to win, and be able to go back to being friends with people of other houses after the competition. After being the key word, because there was no room for friendship in a competition.
Oliver pulled a pair of skates onto his feet, glad that he was a first year. Being the one to skate around on the ice seemed a lot more fun than having to push someone else. If he had been an older kid he would have been disappointed at not getting to skate. Maybe they would get an opportunity later. After the competition.
When his skates were on and tied, Oliver got to his feet. He wobbled a bit, but managed to keep his balance. Hopefully the same would be true even when he was on the ice. He walked carefully over to the paint and dipped his skates in green paint. Gryffindor was still going but he was ready. As soon as they were done, he would be next. Slytherin was going to win this thing.
"I'm ready," he announced to his team in case they weren't paying attention. He waited by the edge of the ice. Oliver still needed an older student to push him. There were more of them, right?
You know, for this one. Dante kind of wished he was the one ice skating. Since it was a lot funner than just pushing a first year. Plus you would be ice skating. But still Dante did not know why in the blazes of merlin he was here. It was cold and he should be in the castle by a fire or something.
But enough of that he was going to push a first year. So he looked for he guessed the word was teammate. And found one that was wanting to be pushed. Sounded good to Dante.
"Hey, I'm Dante and i guess i have to push you"
At least that is what he heard fourth through seventh years were suppose to do.
"Ready?"
He gave him about a minute to get ready even though he looked ready right from the start. Then he started pushing him on the ice. It was harder than it looked because all the ice wanted to do was trip Dante and embarrass himself in front of everyone. Not Cool. So after getting the hang of it. He helped Ellery's brother carved paint whatever their green circle.
And what an awesome circle it was.
Now back to to sitting down and watching someone else to it.
