Soooo... his LAST Feast ever at Hogwarts

Still, Adi was keeping all his sentimental feelings at bay. No need to get weepy. Nuh uh. Even though he could get emotional, he was going to be happy- go- lucky as usual. Yup! He bounded off towards his PRECIOUS and BELOVED House table, flopping down cheerily. It looked like as usual, he was one of the first to arrive. Or the first. Oh well. He would just wait here for his badgers.

In the meanwhile... where was Benny? His eyes scanned the Lion table which was practically as bare as the Badger one.

So Larissa whole plan about not being bitter about Gryffindor didn't really go so well in her head. She didn't want to flip out at anyone on accident. While she was sitting at the Gryffindor table she wanted to actually talk to people. She knew that if she didn't talk to people she would end up thinking about her parents and having to go home and pack everything up since she found out her brother and sister were selling the house. It made sense that they would do that but she didn't know where she would end up going.

Larissa stood up from her house table and walked over to the Hufflepuff table. She had remembered that she had been welcomed with open arms at their house during the start of term feast. It really did make her feel at home over at their table. The brunette always thought that she was sorted into the wrong house since the beginning of term.

As Larissa made her way over to the Hufflepuff table she looked around. There weren't that many people over there at all. To be exact there was only one person there and it was the Prefect Adi. Larissa gave him a little wave. "Is it alright if I sit here?" she asked. She wasn't going to sit down at the table if she wasn't wanted.

The feast. It was probably one of the best and yet at the same time one of the worst things about the term. It meant she would be on the train home soon to see her father and pets but this year it was more special. She'd finally get to see the new house. Right now though it was the last thing on her mind as she entered the great hall her eyes sweeping over each table.

Hady made a strange choice today and headed towards another table. One that wasn't at all green or silver. There was someone she wanted to see before making her way to her own house. And she saw him before she even arrived at the Puffer table.

"Adi!" She called instantly throwing her arms around her big brother. Gosh she'd miss him next term...who was she going to go to for help now? Or a laugh? Next term probably was going to stink with his happiness and laughter but right now she couldn't think about that it was still months away. Right now she looked upwards and gave him her usual grin.

So who would be the first Hufflepuff to join him, hmmm?

Apparently it would be a Gryffindor. And it was a Lion Adi liked very much! He grinned at her, waving back enthusiastically. Watch it there, Adster. You might shake your arm off or scare away Larissa. “Of course you can! The more the merrier!’’ He really wanted to ask her if she was doing even a little better now but he didn’t want to make her sad… sadder? He was still concerned. “How are you, Larissa?’’ He was still there to talk if she wanted to and he would always be. Also, he had another question. “What are you going to do now that you’re done at Hogwarts?” It was one he hadn’t gotten around to asking her.

Just then Adi heard a shout of his name which he hardly had time to register it properly before arms were flung around him. Looking around to see whom they were attached to, his eyes met Hady’s. That very moment he was hit with a stab of emotions because… Hades. She was one of the persons he would miss the most. Brushing the feelings aside as he had been doing for the past few weeks, his lips curved into a signature grin. “Hades!’’ The Puff hugged her back tightly. It was more like squishing her but this may be the last time she was getting one of those for a while. “How’s it going? Going to make sure you go to Hogsmeade during the next weekend you’re allowed to so that you can meet me, right?’’

Henric didn't spot anybody else at the moment. He briskly walked towards where the yellow house prefect was seating and shouted his name. "ADI!!!!!" He looked like he was angry towards his Hufflepuff buddy/brother but NOO.... Henric grabbed Adi's shoulders and pulled him up before giving him THE BIGGEST WARMEST BRO HUG he could ever give to him."I can't believe you're leaving us! WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO US? WHAT WILL I DO WITHOUT YOU MAN!"

Just then Adi heard a shout of his name which he hardly had time to register it properly before arms were flung around him. Looking around to see whom they were attached to, his eyes met Hady’s. That very moment he was hit with a stab of emotions because… Hades. She was one of the persons he would miss the most. Brushing the feelings aside as he had been doing for the past few weeks, his lips curved into a signature grin. “Hades!’’ The Puff hugged her back tightly. It was more like squishing her but this may be the last time she was getting one of those for a while. “How’s it going? Going to make sure you go to Hogsmeade during the next weekend you’re allowed to so that you can meet me, right?’’

Hady was way more then content with being squished. Normally it was a brief hug and she'd pull back with her typical grin. Not today though. The fourth year gave her big brother a squish right back and after tucking her face into his robes so as to get her own emotions in check she tipped her head backwards to peer up at him, somehow managing to give him the signature Hades grin in return. "Alright." That's how it was going. Not good. A bit more to the bad side really but she wasn't about to make this any harder then it needed to to be, she would still get to see him. So settling with 'alright' was the best she could do for the moment. "Of course!" she nodded quickly. "You and Lux both. Top two on my list of those I need to see whenever I can (outside of Hogwarts). I'll be seeing you next month for my birthday though, right?" Right Adi? He hadn't forgotten had he?!

Janelle was happy.........sort of. She had had a pretty successful year and was super excited to be going home. If she blocked out the fact that so many people were leaving, life would be great. The fact of the matter was, lots of people Janelle cared about were leaving and that made her sad. She was determined not to get all mopey at the feast, but she did want to seek out her friends before they left for good.

First on the list, her big brother away from home. Janelle tried very hard not to think about what Hogwarts would be like without Adi. Who would have her back now? Shaking off the thought, she put on a happy face and headed to the Hufflepuff table.

Adi seemed to be surrounded by admirers, so Janelle waited patiently for her turn. When it came, she grabbed the prefect in a bear hug, with no intention of letting go anytime soon. Trying to sound positive, she finally began to speak. "I'm so glad I got to know you. Thank you so much for being my friend and my big brother." She would not cry, she would not cry, she would not cry.

So this was it.

Her last meal at Hogwarts.

Even though she had only attended the school for a term, Paulina had become rather attached to the place. She had made some really good friends during the time here, and hopefully she would be able to keep in contact with them. Letters were always an option and that was how she managed to talk to her best friend still.

"Hey, everyone," she said a little sadly as she took a seat by her friends.

She was squishing him back. Adi loved it but of course he was going to make a joke. “Can’t… breathe…’’ He made fake gasping sounds though he made no attempt to free himself of the Snakette’s grasp. Why would he want to? He felt quite comfortable letting her bury her head in his robes. Plus he felt so loved. The happy Hufflepuff returned the grin. Man, Hady’s grin was one of the things he was going to miss about her. At least she had made the habit of holding a Chocolate Frog by the leg stick with him. “I’ll try my best to see you as often as I can and I’m sure Lux will too. I think she’s going to the London university campus.’’ Which was too bad because he wouldn’t be seeing her that often. And Hady’s birthday! Nooooo, Adi could never forget! “Yep! Diagon Alley,’’ he said promptly. “We’ll have all the Chocolate Frogs and Ice cream we can eat. My treat.’’ Mhmm. What a fun day that will be!

Henric was charging down the Hufflepuff table like a raging bull. Uh oh. Had Adi done something to tick him off? He certainly hadn’t punched the boy again. He was frantically trying to figure out why Henric could be angry when quite suddenly he was engulfed in a hugeee bro hug. Oh! Henric was kidding around! PHEW! Adi returned the hug, a grin sliding onto his face. “It’s sooo devastating!’’ the soon to be graduate said dramatically and jokingly. “What will happen to you guys is that you’ll be one of those that has to lead the Puffers now.’’ That’s right. Adi was sort of leaving this task to Henric now. Seriously, bro. Look after the Puffs who are so precious to him. Especially the baby badgers. As for what the boy will do without him… “Well for sure you won’t get levitated or punched.’’ Cue the laughter from him.

Adi saw her as she approached the Table; the girl he had promised to help take care of and help out. He waved her to come closer and he enveloped her into a hugeeeee hug. Gosh, so many hugs were being given and received! He LOVED it all! “Janelle!’’ Awhhh! “And I’m glad I got to know you. I’ll always be those to you.’’ His voice cracked. Oh Merlin! Nooooo, no tears, no tears! This was supposed to be a happy time! Adi breathed deeply before speaking again. “I’ll owl you lots and I’ll make sure you and Jasmine come see my Hippogriffs.’’

Annnnd there was the girl he had only known for almost a year but had developed quite a friendship with. “Hello, Polly cracker!’’ She looked and sounded sad. Poor girl. She needed a hug. Adi didn’t hesitate to put his arms around her to give her a squish. “Cheer up. The food will be here soon, I expect. Are you going back to Japan?”

There was noway that the older boy in her grasp couldn't breath. She wasn't squishing him that tightly but it was still funny for him to try to make her laugh. Of course she knew that's what he was doing. Loosening her hold on him just a little bit Hady managed to give a little bit better of a grin. Props for trying? "Anytime I can get there I'll let you know and her know." The more she got to see them both, the better. "Chocolate frogs!," she laughed quietly. It was a small laugh but something. Every time she held one now she'd remember that now her big brother holds his the same way. A good memory, one to add to her patronus memories. "Totally there. My party too, at the new house...I want you there. Benny too, kay?" If Benny and him weren't there then it just wouldn't be a party.

She had heard a voice she knew and the person it belonged to was also leaving this term. Shifting slightly in Adi's arms Hady looked over her shoulder and gave Paulina a tiny smile. "Hey," she reached a hand out for the older girls for a hug but that was hard when she wasn't so willing of letting the Puffer go yet.

Paul finally approached the Hufflepuff table and...smiled as he saw Adi again. He had already given the boy a flower for his departure of Hogwarts, but he had not yet given one to Paulina. He approached Miss Holiday and held out the single flower for her.

"This is for you. You are a kind person, and you are very good at Herbology. I hope that your good personality may bring you many blessings and joys in life." He nodded and smiled before slipping away again, to search for more SEVENTH YEARS.

Walking around the hall was fun >.> Especially since the Staff Table was so depressing.

Henric quickly wiped a single manly tear away from his eyes. He didn't care, this would be the last end of the term feast for Adi, a few of his favourite professors and all of the seventh year friends he came to adore too. He shook his head in denial. "What are you talking about man...no way I could lead the puffs, too much responsibility, mate! Instead, I'll make sure they are all well-fed with my delicious homemade treats, nobody will starve under my watchful eye, I can promise you that, Adi." More smiling and a thumbs up.

"True." Henric shrugged before giving a small jab on Adi's shoulder playfully,"I'll be old enough to use magic out of school soon, so just you wait until then!" He eyed Adi's hair, grinning. mwahaha

Ohh, he finally noticed everyone who came to wish Adi. "Hello there! Hope you guys have a brilliant summer holiday ahead,"he smiled broadly towards them.

Henric turned around,"Oh hey Paulina! Can't believe you're leaving us so soon..." he told her sadly.

"Hi Larissa, fancy seeing you at the Puff table, can't believe this term ends so quickly,right? How are you?...Are you doing okay..? " Henric asked her, feeling a little bit concern for his graduating friend. He knew of course what happened to her...he wished it never did. Henric truly felt for her. He would want to talk to her again...privately.

Larissa gave Henric a small smile. "I'm okay, okay as okay can be considering what happened in March." She couldn't believe that it was March when she lost her parents and now it was June. She hadn't seen them since the end of August last year because they were traveling during Christmas. "How are you?" She asked. In the end she would be alright. She didn't know when but she really would be. Hopefully.

Larissa waited for Adi's permission before sitting down, she looked at him and noticed that he was waving...a lot of waving. Wow. Was he okay? Why was he so excited about this? Everyone else was sad or crying? Well the seventh years were. Was he really happy to be graduating? She was happy to be graduating to get out of here and hopefully start something new but still. Then she heard him say that it was alright to join him. "Thank you." The seventh year took a seat next to him. "I'm alright. Yourself?"She asked. Larissa frowned at his other question. She knew what she was doing but she wasn't fully prepared for it. "Well Professor Flamsteed suggested that I should take a half year off to get my mind off of my parents and just think through everything but he set me up for an internship so I'm not doing nothing." She shrugged. It was better than nothing. It would let her mind focus for a few hours a day. "I plan on going to the Edinburgh campus to study Astronomy." She nodded. "Do you know what you're doing after summer holiday?" she asked.

Erm… was his enthusiastic waving freaking Larissa out? Probably. So Adi put down his arm though his grin remained in place. He was pleased she wanted to sit with the Puffs like she had at the Start of Term feast. “I’m great!’’ Pause. “No, not really.’’ He felt like confessing to her. Maybe it was because she had shared something deep with him earlier. “I don’t want to leave.’’

He listened to her plans and advice Flamsteed had given. “That’s great. Where will you be interning?” Wait… had she mentioned the EDINBURGH campus?! “I’ll be studying there too! Majoring in Magizoology!’’ Could Larissa see the excitement on his face? “I’m so glad you’ll be studying there too!”

Hady loosened her grip on him but Adi, being always greedy for hugs, squished her right back. Nope, not letting go of this Snakette. Sorry not sorry at all. “Do that! And we’ll hang out.’’ He was not going to miss any opportunity to spend time with his Hades. Nuh uh. “Yes, loads and loads of Chocolate Frogs! You can bring Frankie too,” he added with a wink. “If you ever need to talk about anything, need advice or whatever it is, owl me, alright?’’ He would always be there for her. Ohh, she was having a party? COOL! “We’ll be there! I’ll have to hunt for a present for you.’’ Hehe.

Was Henric… crying? Adi wasn't shocked. Nope, he knew Henric was sensitive and it was making him want to cry too But he managed to hold it together. Just barely… and probably not for long if he kept getting visitors from other Houses. Or if Henric cried some more. “Henny. Be happy.’’ Cue Henric receiving another bro hug. And then the other guy got a sharp poke. “I’m not going to deny it is a lot of responsibility but we’ve got to look out for our Puffers’, right? You don’t have to be a prefect or a student leader to do that. Just be you because I think you’re awesome.’’ Gosh, was he getting sappy? Maybe, but he knew Henric always battled with being insecure just as Adi once had. He laughed now. “That is something I know you’ll be great at. Don’t forget to send me some of those things you bake over the summer, okay?’’ He grinned and returned the thumbs up.

Sooooo sitting here wasn't helping her mood.

Of course Paulina was happy to sit with her fellow Hufflepuffs one last time, but she had really grown to love her House over the course of the year so she didn't want to say goodbye. Her thoughts drifted to Wizarding University though and her plans to study Herbology. She was nervous and excited at the same time.

She gave Adi a small smile. "I'm trying to cheer up but it's hard. I'm not even hungry." She sighed. "I am going back for a little bit, but I'm going to be at university in Edinburgh." Paulina wondered where her friend would be going.

Henric and Hady would be staying, however. "I'm going to miss you both," she said as she gave the younger girl a hug. They were both good people and very nice. She didn't know Henric too well but she knew that he was good friends with Adi. "I know. I can't believe it either. You two try not to get into too much trouble now that Adi won't be around," she joked.

Hearing Larissa speak about school, Paulina's ears perked up. "We'll be going to the same campus." So she'd be with someone that she knew. That was awesome. Things were less scary when she would be with someone she knew even if they weren't taking the same program.

Feeling a little better, her attention was brought to Professor Myers as he gave her a flower and said very kind words to her before WALKING OFF. Excuse her, she was crying now because he and Professor York were her favourite Professors and she admired them and would miss them when they were gone.

Sniffle.

Emotions. Paulina had plenty of those.

Eep! Suddenly being squished again! Hady laughed softly once more squeezing Adi tightly. If he didn't want to let her go he didn't have to. She'd gladly remain in his hug the entire feast though that might make getting around and eating a little more difficult but she'd worry about that later. "You know I will! There's tons more you have to teach me," she nodded. The mention of chocolate frogs and tons of them had her smiling but then he said that. Or well it was the name. Casting a quick look around to make sure NO ONE heard she dropped her voice and gave him a playful glare. "Shh not so loud!" Can't have everyone hearing this. In this place they'd all get the wrong idea. Owling him? Was he sure? "Only if you don't mind getting an owl daily," she teased. Or maybe it wasn't teasing. She just might. "Good, you have to be there! And no present needed, just you and Benny." Mhmm that's all she needed.

Hady let herself leave the comfort of Adi's hug long enough to hug Paulina gently. "I'll miss you too, it was really fun working with you in class." The older girl may have only been here a year but she had become a good friend quickly. Trouble? Her? Nah. "I don't do trouble." she grinned innocently. At least not alone.

"Be happy..."

His lips quivered slightly as he received another bro hug from Adi. Aww man...why did he have to be sappy with him now?! Henric was barely holding back his manly tears. NO...he would not shed anymore tears! Especially ...n-not in front of these girls! He awkwardly patted his buddy's shoulders and nodded firmly."I understand...I'll try my best not to neglect our fellow puffers anymore. Even though I don't have much to give, I won't let you guys down. Mark my words!" Funny he should say this, having already lost a total of 58 points from his house...he wasn't exactly a good role model for the little ones.

"No Adi,you're brilliant! I should really thank you for all the things you did for me. Its just that I'm going to miss every fun thing we did together in this school. Heck...I don't mind being thrown into the detention room if we land ourselves in trouble again," he chuckled, of course he was joking. Or was he? Heheh. It was kind of hilarious actually if he thought about it.

"Trouble? Me? Pfft...noo," Henric waved a dismissive hand playfully towards Paulina. He tried not to be...atleast. He wasn't a delinquent child. He was just...unlucky."How are you going to spend your holidays,Paulina?"he asked her.

Henric gave a small smile towards Larissa. She was telling them that she was feeling fine even though he knew she wasn't. But Henric was going to take her word for it. Having lost both of his birth parents at a young age himself, he knew it would take more than time to fully grasp the reality of it all. "A little sad...coz' you guys are leaving this year but I'm doing great so far,"Henric replied, showing his usual positive side of him.

He listened in to their conversation and was quite surprised that all three of his graduating friends were heading to the same direction. "Wow that's great news!" He happily cheered for them. This calls for a toast, everyone!

Larissa looked around the table more just in case she had missed anyone she knew. The brunette turned her head when she heard a voice that was directed at her. Who was it? It was Paulina. "You are? What are you studying?" The more Larissa started talking about it the more she got excited but at the same time she didn't want to get excited for it at all. She felt like it was bad if she got excited about it.

Larissa turned back to Adi. She listened to him closely. "Are you sad about leaving or do you not want to become an adult?" Her problem was she didn't want to be an adult. She didn't want real responsibilities. The he had answered her question. "I wish I could understand how you feel about this castle but I haven't been here that long and the time that I have spent here hasn't been the greatest." She was never going to lie to people about that. Magizoology? That seemed like a lot of fun. "You're going to the Edinburgh campus too?" That was probably a stupid question.

Larissa frowned at Henric. "I'm sorry I'm leaving." She felt bad. "Unless you're not going to miss me then I'm not sorry that I'm leaving." A part of her wanted to make a joke out that but she couldn't bring herself to do so. The seventh year shrugged. "I guess as much I can get for good news." She told him.

Janelle hugged Adi tighter and listened as he spoke. She was determined not to cry, but that was proving to be a losing battle all around. Letting him go briefly, she wiped her eyes and looked up at her big brother. "Really? You promise we'll stay in touch?" That was comforting to Janelle. Just knowing that Adi would still be in her universe was good. "Oh I'll be sure to owl you too.......but not too much.". She would not want to be that kind of annoying. "Coming to see your Hippogriffs sounds awesome. I'll be sure to tell Jasmine about that."

"Oh, I almost forgot.". Janelle reached into her pocket and brought out a small box. "It's for you. It's not much, but I wanted you to have it." Janelle hoped that Adi would like his present. It was a little silver hippogriff figurine, 'cause that reminded her of him. "I hope you like it.". Trying to be upbeat, she continued. "I know I'll see you again so this isn't goodbye." Janelle had come up with 101 ways to not say goodbye. Looking at Adi with a somewhat forced smile, she said, "Hasta la vista, baby."

Yay! Hady didn’t seem to mind another squashy hug. Good! She could expect a ton more of these, okay? He felt so at ease hugging the little sister, you know? Adi smiled widely. “Always happen to share my knowledge.’’ Mhmm. Woops! He was being glared at by a FIERCE Snakette. LOL. Nah, she wasn’t. “Sorry,’’ was the whispered response. Sometimes he forgot that he could be loud what with all of his energy and stuff. A daily owl? This was something Adi had no objection to! “Actually, it would be something to look forward to.’’ Adi grinned. “I’ll reply to your messages so fast that you won’t time to blink.’’ Hehe. Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration but Hady would get what he meant. “We’ll be there for sure,’’ was the confirmation though he still wanted to give her something for her birthday.

“You never did neglect them,’’ Adi reassured Henric. Are you kidding? Henric was one of the most considerate and caring Puffers in the School. Yeah, the younger ones would be in good hands with the likes of him, Hayden, Noel and Norah around. Merlin! He was getting all emotional again just thinking about his babies. “Also, you need to take care of Ilia.’’ Meaning no more hurting her. “If you don’t…’’ Adi left the threat hanging though he grinned. Henny might be like a brother to him but this guy was very protective of his Veela girl.

Hmmm, excellent question, Larissa! The Hufflepuff tilted his head. “Well, I am considered an adult since I’m the legal age in both worlds already but I don’t want to leave here. So I would say a little of the two.’’ Yeah… couldn’t he be an adult and stay at Hogwarts? Maybe if he were a Professor… Anyway, he had provided an extra bit of answer to her question. He was sorry to hear that she hadn’t enjoyed all her time. That was a bummer. “I bet University will be better though because I’m going there too and I’ll make you have a good time.’’ Yep! Adi would help her forget the bad stuff that had happened to her parents and help her remember them before that as well as enjoy life. “I’m there for you,’’ he told her happily. He got the feeling that she didn’t think she was worth anyone’s time or something of the sort. Adi couldn’t quite put his finger on the exact reason.

Nooooo, Janelle was crying. All control Adi had been keeping for the last week finally broke causing a tear to slide for each of his eyes. He brushed them away at the same time she did hers. “I promise! I’ll do a better job of keeping in touch with you than I did with Jasmine.’’ Yes, he would! Adi tickled her a bit. “But you must owl me loads. I insist. Good! You and Jasmine can come as much as you like.’’ The sisters were always welcome! A gift for him? The Puff accepted the box with a grin to carefully open. A silver figure of a Griff! “I think it’s a brilliant present! Thank you! I’ll be sure to take it with me when I move into my apartment.’’ And very proudly he would display it too. “Nope, I’ll definitely find the time to come see you.’’ There was his grin again. “Hasta la vista, baby sis!’’

Poor Polly. She needed hugs too. Everyone needed hugs tonight and Adi had plenty to share. Yes, he did. He headed over to his friend when he had been spared a bit from the endless conversation and the first thing he did was put his arms around her in a comfy hug; the usual squishy one. “But you’ll have to eat lots because we won’t want to be hungry later on, right?” That and the fact that this was their very last feast but he didn’t say that aloud as he didn’t want to upset her more. Waaaaait a monute! Did Polly cracker just say what he thought he heard? “You’re going there too?” Cue more excitement from Adi! “We’ll be studying together again then!’’ He was so pleased he’d have yet another friend with him.

Not many people got to experience a Hady hug. Well okay so some did but not a TRUE Hady hug, one with actual feeling and intent behind it. So this was something special really cause Adi had always been there for her and even though he wouldn't be in the castle anymore they would still see one another and of course she'd owl him like they had agreed. "If it weren't for you and Lux I wouldn't be able to cast my patronus," she reminded him with a small grin as she peered up at him. "It's alright...just well he doesn't know and such...yet." Yeah whatever. Guys were confusing. Moving on. Hady laughed quietly. "Good cause I just might have to do this in between Gobstones, duels, studying and exams." Keeping in touch was very important. Slowly she was smiling again along with a nod of her head. "Good. I wouldn't let you not be there."
