Angel was totally confused about how to feel as she found an empty compartment and sad down, so much had changed in hers and her sisters life. She put her bag somewhere safe and took out a book that she had been wanting to read for ages, but with her OWLs exams and stuff she just hadn't had time.

Angel grabbed a book mark and put it at the beginning before she put the book down next to her, she wasn't going to read it just yet... first she wanted to see if she could find a few friends to talk to.

Angel still remembered how the train ride here had brought her some shocking news but she was hopeful that this time it would be less stressful and sad. She sat there wondering what her and her muggle friends were going to be doing this summer and she couldn't wait to spend time with her sisters AJ and Abby.

As she stepped foot onto the train Hady noticed a familiar head of dark hair and followed it. She hadn't had to much of a chance to speak with Angel within the last few weeks but she wanted to ask her something...and Abby as well as AJ if she happened to see them on the train as well.

Knocking lightly on the compartment door she slid it open a bit peering her head inside at her friend. "Hey!," she greeted warmly. "Ready to go home?" Hady stepped inside the compartment leaning against the wall area as she shifted a sleeping Hagan in her arms. Lazy cat was rather comfortable it seemed.

Angel smiled as she saw Hady enter the compartment. "Hey." Angel was glad to see her friend. "I am, I can't wait to spend some time with my parents and my friends." Angel seriously missed them, especially her friends and she was hoping that maybe she could see a film with them or play a game of soccer, she missed that sport so much.

Angel had a feeling her friend wanted to ask her something but she would ask her when she was ready. "So what about you?" Angel smiled. "You looking forwards to spending the summer at home?"

Angel smiled as she saw Hady enter the compartment. "Hey." Angel was glad to see her friend. "I am, I can't wait to spend some time with my parents and my friends." Angel seriously missed them, especially her friends and she was hoping that maybe she could see a film with them or play a game of soccer, she missed that sport so much.

Angel had a feeling her friend wanted to ask her something but she would ask her when she was ready. "So what about you?" Angel smiled. "You looking forwards to spending the summer at home?"

Hady smiled slightly nodding her head in understanding. She missed her parents as well and she was really looking forward to going home and spending time with her dad at the new house and exploring the areas around it. "So am I, I miss my family and my pets a lot." It was always hard leaving her snake behind when she returned to the castle each year.

"I am." She smoothed a gentle hand over Hagan's head. "We moved over the winter so this will be the first time I'm actually getting to see the house so I'm really excited." It had been a few months already since her father moved into the house but he still hadn't told her much or sent her any pictures. "I'm going to be having a party next month for my birthday do you think that you and Abby and AJ can come?" She wanted to ask in person but she would also be sending out owls to confirm thing. Maybe the girls wouldn't want to come because of things with Adi and Benny? Hady hoped that wouldn't be a problem because she'd like everyone to be there.

Angel looked at her friend and smiled. "Oh that is awesome, I hope you have fun exploring the new house." Angel loved when you went somewhere new because you had a lot of exploring to do. When she went on holidays that was the first thing she did she explored the place to see what was new.

Angel looked at her friend and smiled. "Oh that is awesome, I hope you have fun exploring the new house." Angel loved when you went somewhere new because you had a lot of exploring to do. When she went on holidays that was the first thing she did she explored the place to see what was new.

Angel then heard her friend talk about a birthday party. "Oh, we'd love to come." Angel was sure that it would be loads of fun and she was sure that her sisters would want to come to a birthday party. "So are you hoping to get anything exciting for your birthday?" Angel thought she might as well ask.

"So do I. Moving from America to London is a huge chance but I trust my dad so..." she shrugged. Even if she didn't trust her fathers moving choices she really didn't have any other option unless she remained with her mother and well nah that just wasn't going to happen.

Great! She had a feeling they would come but one could never be to sure honestly. "That's great! Maggie and I have been playing this for a while now." Since like March or maybe even earlier then that. "It's going to be a pool party and a sleepover as well if you all want to stay the night." That had to be taken into account! Everyone needed swimsuits and pjs as well as clothing for the next day if they were spending the night. Very important details there. Uh? Oh um what did she want for her birthday. Well a puppy she'd always wanted one but that wasn't what she was about to say. "Just for everyone to have a good time. A day with friends is all I care about." That was a good answer, right?

Sha felt better than she had in a few days. She had managed to speak to all of the seventh years that she would miss and even managed to find time to say goodbye to a few of the Professor’s she had heard were leaving. Now, she was going to relax on the way home, hopefully with some of her best friends and look forward to Summer. After all, with friends it didn’t matter how close you were in distance, they were always in your heart and close to your thoughts.

Moving up the train from where she had just stored her luggage, Marsha continued her journey until she found an empty compartment. She didn’t know who she wanted to sit with, so she figured that she would let her friends do that job for her. She settled into the compartment by the window and placed her bag above her head on the rack. There was a book in there for later if she got bored, but for now she would sit and watch the countryside pass by when the train started to move.

It was strange boarding the train this year because many of the friends she had made over the last three years she'd been at Hogwarts were in this years graduating class. Which meant, after tonight, she would never see them ever again at Hogwarts. Kind of a sentimental moment, and Tia reflected on this as she dragged her trunk behind her and made her way towards an empty compartment.

Truthfully she didn't mind being alone. It might be easier than facing the goodbyes. Just herself and her memories.

Angel smiled at her friend. "Well that sounds nice and I hope that you have an amazing day." Angel though had a feeling that she couldn't get her friend that. "But what do you really want for your birthday?" Angel wanted to get her friend something amazing after all Hady was just an awesome friend and someone who she loved hanging out with.

"So you looking forwards to your OWLs next year?" Angel asked changing the subject, she couldn't believe that she was going to be a sixth year next term and from what she heard at the Gryffindor table there was going to be massive change with a few staff leaving. She was still shocked about the DADA Professor, he was just awesome and had helped her a lot.

Hady returned the smile to her friend along with a nod of her head. "Thanks I'm sure it'll be a great day with everyone there to keep me company." Having a party with all her friends was something she had been wanting to do for a long time. Hmm what did she really want? Honestly she wasn't even all that sure. She was much more simple then most thought her to be and she'd be happy with anything or nothing at all. "I really don't know but I like lots of things just like your average girl."

The snakette shook her head. "Not really." Hady laughed quietly. Was one every truly ready for those tests? "I mean I have a study plan and everything but knowing me I'm going to over think EVERYTHING and drive myself insane."

Angel looked at her friend and smiled, she was going to make sure she got her friend something extra special, because well she thought her friend deserved something cool for her birthday, maybe a t-shirt or a hamper full of chocolates, or a necklace with BFF written on it.

Angel smiled. "I know that feeling." Angel said truthfully. "Though I figured something out, you just do your best... you study a couple of hours a day for a few months and then when the exams come round you try your best." Angel had totally found the exams less stressful when she decided to study a couple of hours a day instead of trying to cramp everything in at once.

Henry had hoped to sit with Remy or Owen on the train ride home, or even Teddy or Ava, but he hadn't seen any of them since they left the castle. He had hoped that he might find one of them on the train, but so far no luck.

The 12 year old knew figured that the train would be leaving soon, plus he was getting tired of lugging his trunk along behind him, so he thought he should find a compartment soon, then maybe he could find his friends later. A cursory glance into the next compartment told him it was empty so he opened up the door and pulled his things inside.

It was only when he sat down did he realize that the compartment wasn't empty at all. There was an older, teenage girl sitting on the seat across from him. Huh. Guess he hadn't looked that closely. "Oh! Sorry.." he started, once he realized he wasn't alone. "Was this seat being saved?" He needed a place to sit too, but sometimes teenagers had their own friends they wanted to sit with and not younger kids, so he was making sure.

Colt was busy exploring the train because why not? He didn't like sitting in his train cart looking at the same scenery. I mean yes the green hills were pretty and everything but they got redundant after awhile. As he made his way to the front of the train, he saw a girl was sitting alone in the train cart. He shrugged and thought why not see what is going on. I mean usually he would ignore it but he decided to spark a little conversation.

He opened the door and saw her. She seemed pretty cute but not as cute as Kate Addison of course. He was still not over the fact that he had a girlfriend now and he was taken. "Hi.." he began with and then cleared his throat. Then he began again with, "Hi do you mind if I join you. I am Colt. I have seen you in couple of my classes and I wanted to introduce myself." Then he turned around and saw she wasn't alone. He saw another dude. Hmm the dude seemed to be his age maybe a little younger.

Tia was just mulling over all those who she would be missing at the feasts and in classes next year, when the compartment door slid open. A young boy who couldn't be more than twelve just sat down, oblivious to her for a moment before apologizing. No, she wasn't saving the seat for anyone; actually she more than was welcoming for the younger boy because it meant less chance of having to say goodbye to those who she would never see again. Goodbyes were difficult, so sometimes just never having to face that was easier.

"Not at all," Tia smiled warmly at the boy. He seemed familiar enough. Before she had a moment to introduce herself, another boy entered - also younger than her. Yes, she definitely recalled seeing him before and even from dueling club. She heard he did quite well for his year too. "Hi Colt. Nope, you're welcome here. Plenty of room. I think I recall you from dueling club as being quite the skilled dueler for your year."

"I'm Tia, by the way," she told both younger boys.

Wearing a scowl as he did, Cutty Mordaunt reared his ugly head with the tumbling sounds of his big feet and luggage.

She was being loud.

"Gerrowtoff tha way!" He said rudely coming from the hall and shoving himself into the first compartment he saw.

He stood there looking blankly at the small redhead for a moment before smiling. "Hanover. Hey." He said flirtatiously as he threw his luggage into the overhead compartment.

Looking up as the door slid open loudly, Marsha couldn’t help the wide beaming smile that appeared as she realised she was being loudly interrupted by Cutty. She watched him as he stared at her before a smile graced HIS lips too. SHE, Marsha Hanover, had made the seventh year smile. How awesome was that? Hehe.

”Hiya Cutty! How are you?” She watched as he easily lifted his trunk up to the luggage rack. Woah. Would she ever be tall enough to do that? She’d need to levitate her trunk there… maybe after making it magically lighter anyway. There was no way she would be able to lift her trunk, she was too little. Sighsigh. She’d be tiny forever.

She moved one leg over the other, sitting forward to pay more attention to him.

Oh. The girl seemed friendly. Really friendly actually and Henry visibly relaxed before returning her smile. He was glad that he hadn't interrupted anything and that it was okay for him to sit in the compartment as he hadn't been able to find his friends.

But before he had a chance to say anything else, the 12 year old turned his attention to the compartment door, expecting to see his kneazle following him inside, instead to see another boy entering as well. He seemed to be a little older too, though maybe not as old as the girl already present. He wondered briefly if they were friends already, but it seemed not as the boy spoke.

He didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the conversation as he grew distracted wondering where that feline had gone off to. He had been right behind him as he walked the train corridor, but a panic arose inside of him, thinking that the kneazle might end up left behind and he started to get up from his seat only to sit back down as pet came sauntering in.

"There you are!" Henry bent down and picked up the kneazle to put him on his lap. "I'm Henry," he told Tia as she introduced herself, though it was also for Colt's benefit too. "And this is Chewbacca." He gave the kneazle a few pets as he curled up on his lap.

"Not too cleveh. I think I ate a bad cucumber sarney." Thus the crankiness. He looked over at the window and saw that the window indeed had the ability to open. "I need ter take me potions, booht I'd probably just lose them." Like all over the upholstery. Brutal honesty and straight up lies. That was his way of communicating.

He took a seat and as she did crossed one of his legs over the other. "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha. Wot yer gonna do at the school without me?" He sat upright like a gentleman.

The Welsh girl made a face. ”Why would you eat a cucumber sandwich in the first place?” Marsha’s eyebrows furrowed inwards as she looked at the brunet man in front of him. Was he ill? ‘cause she didn’t think that sensible people ate cucumber sandwiches. Didn’t they know that the wetness of the cucumber made for awfully soggy bread and was generally bland and disgusting.

”Your potions?” She watched him. ”Maybe take them before we leave the station, that way you won’t spill them and can actually… y’know, drink them.” She nodded a few times for good measure, making sure that he knew she thought this was an excellent idea. ‘Cause obviously, potions were important. Yup. Well, most of the time if they weren’t something for fun like emotions or polyjuice.

She watched him mimicking her and then raised an eyebrow at him as he repeated her name not once but three times. Oh. That. She pursed her lips a little, trying to think of a Hogwarts without Cutty and once again realised that she didn’t like thinking about it. ”I’ll be sad.” She said almost instantly. ”And then I will remember how much you have helped me and the fact that we will still talk and I will take over the school and be amazing.” She nodded her head once as if that was her school plans for the next five terms.

"It was the only other sarney that didn't have ham in it." He didn't grow up with this fatty meat and although he'd eaten it before courtesy of Adonis Mordaunt, he'd never grown use to it's texture or high, HIGH salt content. Not to mention that it was prone to certain types of microbes. Not a fan. Who could be? Eww!

His potions. Take them before they leave? "Ha! For Mehrlins sake, Hanover. This isn't amateur hour at the Cauldron Competition." As in, 7 straight years of potion making could steady the hand. He omitted telling her that he had to take them at certain times.


He didn't want to sound like a freak.


All in due time.

"Yes...Yes. Remember os little people, wontchyer?" he liked the confidence of the wee lion and didn't argue with her point. "So long as yer takin' over the skewl, yew oughter make me yer vizier. At least put me on yer leadership council. I can rule remotely." He said removing a flask from his pocket and taking a swig of water from it. No it really was water, though. O_O "It'll be the least yew could do fer me fer all I've done fer yew."

Hmmmmm’ing Marsha made a face. ”I think I would have skipped the roll and just had some sweeties then.” She nodded solemly, anything was better cucumbers. Anything…. though she liked most sandwiches so she would more than likely have been fine. ”I really don’t like cucumbers… they have a weird texture that I just can’t describe.”

Rolling her eyes at him she crossed her arms under her chest as the train let out a long, low whistle to signal that they would be leaving the station within the next few minutes. End of term, start of Summer. At least she would get to see Alis again and finally meet and get to know Rhys properly…. She’d have to find Duchess too, before London since she had jumped out of her arms pretty soon after they had gotten onto the train. Typical cat. ”Then take it when the train is moving and have fun spilling it down your shirt.” She told him…. she wouldn’t even try to help get rid of the stain, nope. He’d deserve it after shooting down her help like that….. not that she really blamed him; a girl could try to act offended.

Raising her eyebrows at him, she laughed. ”Little people? You’re hilarious.” Sighing, she shook her head. There weren’t many students at Hogwarts that she was taller than, especially once the first and second years started to grow. She hadn’t even reached five foot yet, and she knew from experience (standing next to him) that Cutty was well over a foot taller than her. Remember the little people. Heh. Of course she wouldn’t, she needed their help with anything involving heights.

”My leadership council?” Thinking about it, she nipped on her bottom lip a little with her teeth. ”Well, that would be amazing. I could ask Benzi and AJ too - you’d all help me become the best I can… obviously. I’m going to write on the Quill the whole time hopefully… though I don’t really think I want to become a journalist when I’m older but it will look really good that I’ve been doing Extra Curriculars the whole way through school.” The girl nodded again, twirling a piece of flame-red hair around her pointer finger as she talked. ”Though, I would love to be a Prefect like Puck… or maybe even Head Girl like Sophie…” The Welshwoman had dreams and nothing would stand in her way of at least trying her best to reach her goals.

”But really… why would you want to be on my council… You’ve left Hogwarts now, graduated.” Cue sad face, again.

Cutty cut his eyes back at the fiesty little redhead with a sneering sort of smile. Was she aware that people ate and drank on trains since their inception pretty much. And ewww. Sugar. No points for brain power, Marsha Hanover. There again she was only ickle and a Gryffindor. He loved the lions but if they could do anything but research, they would.

And her last comment brought home that point. "I enjoy havin' me fingers in as many different pies as I can get them into. Idle hands." Also, with few exceptions, anyone who was anyone in Wizarding Britain had passed through Hogwarts at some point or another. Hell, even the nobodies went to Hogwarts. Subsequent generations would graduate and then he'd see them on the other side. Play that hand how you will.

Over the course of the last four terms Hady had grown to know all three Valentine girls quite well and she enjoyed spending time with them. This term she knew had been a bit 'hard' for two for two of them so she was very glad to see that Angel seemed happy and she was laughing and smiling now. This was a great thing to see. All her friends deserved happiness. "If you need ideas I love animals of all kinds just not spiders..anymore... uh I love green and silver, butterflies and flowers." Did that help at all?

If there was something she had learned over the years it was that cramming for a test never worked! Studying steadily over time seemed to be the best choice of action with this stuff and it had always worked well for her before. "My thoughts exactly. Were the OWLs tough?"

Angel smiled as she looked at Hady. "Okay then, I'll see what I can do." Angel was going to try and find the best Christmas present for her friend. She remember how Hady had been there for her on the first train ride that term and how her friend had helped her out.

"Oh they were okay, some were harder than others." Angel said truthfully, she wasn't sure how some of them had gone but she was glad that they were over with because some of them had been really hard and others had been hard but not as hard as those that were really hard. "So what else are you doing over the summer?"
