As you pass by the food table, a towering castle comes into view, not unlike the Hogwarts castle we all know and love. What better way is there to work up an appetite than by bouncing around with your schoolmates? To one side, an arched opening stands open for you to enter—once you’ve shed your shoes, of course—to discover the fun that lies within. You’ll find yourself standing on bulging pillows of air in the colors of each house, ready to fulfill all your bouncing needs. Whether you’re looking to try your luck with flips and tricks or just trying to jump higher than your friends, this bounce house is guaranteed fun for all who venture inside.
Hoping for a bit more friendly competition? Look no further! Openings on either side of the main bouncing area lead to even more fun and games. A long obstacle course spans meters upon meters on the left side of the castle, complete with tunnels and climbing walls to hold you from your destination. Get ready to prove your abilities by leaping over and dodging obstacle after obstacle, always helped along by the springy floor beneath you. Those who are craving a different kind of exhilaration may choose to turn away from the obstacle course in favor of the huge slide on the right side of the castle. The extra-slippery surface, complete with red, green, yellow, and blue stripes in honor of students of all houses, will provide no shortage of speed for those brave enough to slide down to the bottom.
The slide will deposit you safe and sound (though surely exhilarated) into an extra-deep ball pit filled to the brim with multi-colored plastic balls, ensuring a soft landing with an extra layer of amusement added in. Feel free to enjoy the ball pit’s many possibilities, but be sure to be out of the way before the next set of students is ready to brave the journey to the bottom.

There was nothing MORE spirited than jumping around in a ball pit that occasionally threw you against the walls or back out of the pit on the ground. Unless you broke your head, which was not spirited at ALL. But the point was that this was very school spirited, and people should be here jumping around and having fun.
But not too much fun, or Dot would have to prefect at them. She already had her shoes off and she was dancing around the entrance of the ball pit bounce house waiting for customers. Or Norah. They could be customers together until other people showed up.
HOW was nobody here yet? The bounce house was the place to be. Wasn't that obvious? There was BOUNCING involved. Duh. It was in the name and everything. Norah half-ran half-skipped over to the entrance, speeding up a little when she spotted Dot already stationed there, dancing and all. "Are you ready for this?" This being the boatload of fun that was going to be had here. It wasn't an option. There was gonna be fun no matter what. It was a Bounce house RULE. She'd decided.
She undid the sparkly shoelaces she'd transferred to her yellow high tops for this very occasion and slid her shoes off her feet. Now she was all ready too, there was just the itty bitty problem of having nobody to prefect because nobody was there at all. Maybe they just needed to advertise better. She looked from Dot to the entrance and back to Dot again before coming to an executive decision (Yoongi SAID she was supposed to be more confident. This counted, right?) and climbing through the opening into the main body of the bounce house.
Poking her head back out, she beamed at Dot again. "All the fun's in HERE." See that? That was exemplary prefect-ing. Bouncing around before anybody else got there was setting a grand example of how to have fun in a bounce house, which was highly necessary information. Prefects were supposed to set examples. It was part of the job description.

"Ooh yeah!"Sabbath exclaimed when he saw it. There was a bouncy castle in the Hogwarts grounds! He had spotted it at the same time as Nells. He looked at her beside him and saw her face light up, he knew she was thinking what he was thinking. They took off running towards the bouncy castle, slipped off their shoes and jumped in. Sabbath wasted no time in seeing how much bounce leverage he could get... he was impressed, this thing was super bouncy.
Then, he heard Nells call out to him, so he used the wall to bounce off in her direction. Bouncing up to her, he grabbed her hands so they could jump together. They could go extra high, if they found a rhythm that made their body weight land at the same time. He laughed with her as they tried to time it right, their hair flying in all directions."Come on Nells... to the moon", he called, laughing, as they prepared for some super high bounces.

Dot clamored into the bouncy castle behind Norah, and she was exceedingly glad she'd thought to wear leggings under her dress. No inappropriate flashing, and she could do a backflip if she wanted to. The Slytherin prefect bounced carefully over to Norah, grabbing up the girl's hand with her own.
"Let's jump!" Oh, wait... customers. She waved at Noelle and Sabbath. "Hiiiii, first customers! We're jumping, but if you want, you can burrow into the balls and we'll play Marco Polo!" In the meantime, Dot was gonna JUMP.

This bouncy house was the best idea ever.

"Who are you looking all jazzy for? Trying to make a last good impression before we leave for Easter break?" Nells asked over the giggles. She reached out to take his hand again, determined to touch the top of the bounce house.
Hearing a voice, she spotted the ever lovely Dot. She'd known her from classes. She let go of one of Sabbies hands to wave. "Marco polo?!? I'm totally in!!" Because who didn't love a game of Marco Polo.

Sabbath was never one to miss an opportunity to dress up, he loved to make a flashy impression and if he made one on Nells, all the better. In fact, he thought he was dressed fairly tamely as far as Gitano style went, but he figured she probably understood that better now as she'd been to visit him at his house and met his family. He pushed up his jacket sleeves and grabbed her hands as she stumbled. He tried to steady her, but she pulled him down with her. He shook his head and laughed at her giggles and cute apologies about coordination as she jumped up quickly.
He got up too, enjoying her embarrassment. He grinned when she asked him why he was looking jazzy and said, "I don't know Nells, I thought if I dressed up a bit, maybe I could impress you enough to get an invite back to your place again over the Easter holidays" He looked at her and gave a cheeky grin. He hedged his chances on the invite because he knew he wasn't her mother’s favourite person and Nells wasn’t given the types of freedoms that he was allowed by his family and ultimately the end the decision wasn’t up to Nells. "Actually, you're looking pretty cute yourself, very... Gryffindor," he chortled, giving her hands a squeeze. But, this was Nells after all, she'd look cute wearing a potato sack.
He followed her gaze as she waved at Dot. Sabbath smiled and waved at Dot too as she jumped, and when heard her suggestion of a game of Marco polo in the ball pit. Sabbath looked at Nells and raised his eyebrows to see if she was keen to play, he nodded,"Sure, why not, that sounds like fun" Besides that, Sabbath wanted to try out a backflip into the ball pit.

At the mention of a race a grin spread across Hady's face. "On my way!" Dashing after Angel she dove into the bounce house after her laughing.
Hady never questioned things. She went with the flow, and AJ really liked that about her. The girls had made it to the bouncy house almost at the same time, and AJ was too busy getting in there to even notice who actually had won. The fifth year was always the competitive type so this was different. Of course she could be totally mesmerized by all things bouncy.
Speaking of bouncy...
Bounce, bounce, BOUNCE.
Was Hady having as much fun as she was? "Look what I can do." After she gained some momentum, she flipped her Gryffindor self into the air, and landed on her feet. TA-DA. Pretty wicked, eh?
More bouncing happened, and then something caught her eye.
"IS THAT AN OBSTACLE COURSE?" she half shrieked. She had a feeling that Hady would be down for obstacle course off. AJ bounced even higher in anticipation of what all she would be faced with in the obstacle course. Her mind was all over the place. She wanted all of the fun, and all of the fun now.
"We gotta do that." It was nice to kind of sort of ask the person before dragging them off. At least that was what her mother always said. They could bounce some more first though. She definitely hadn't had her fill of that yet.

Heading out to the grounds, Henry wanted to check out the Spirit Festival. It sounded fun, or at the very least something to do, and he wandered out towards the crowd of people. The large bounce house he could see from a bit of a distance and of course he headed their first, even if the smell of food nearby was awfully tempting. But that could wait. Bounce house first.
A bunch of people were already inside, and he pulled off his shoes before he climbed in. Oh! There was his prefect, Norah, and he gave her a cheerful wave as he took a few tentative, bouncy steps inside. And another prefect too.. Dot, he was certain her name was, because he had nicknamed her Polka Dot in his head. He didn't know her enough to know if she'd be mad about it, so he didn't say it out loud, but he totally thought she should adopt polka dots as a signature style. A thought that made him chuckle as he bounced a little further inside.
And there were a few other people in here he sort of knew, but bouncing was what was on his mind right now. Bounce... BOUNCE... BOUNCE! This was the best!

It was the perfect time to practice new tricks and dance moves that might not be smart to do on the ground if one wasn't ready. It was also just a good time. How didn't enjoy jumping around?
Oh, AJ was doing flips! Hady grinned at her older friend. "Nice!"
Bouncing around in a circle she glanced sideways towards where the lioness was talking about. It was an obstacle course! Epic!
"Yes! Lets do this!," The brunette nodded her agreement right away. If it was there they would be giving it ago. No point in wasting time.

Except he was in a bounce house in a snazzy outfit.
Next to her, who was wearing not so snazzy outfit.
Noelle held his hands and looked down at herself as they bounced. "im cute but nothing compared to you. All I have on is comfy clothes." Noelle usually wore comfortable clothing. It's what she grew up in on the farm. Or simple dresses she could just pull over her head with some boots and be on her way. Today was also no exception.
Ha. Sabbie was trying to sneak his way back into an invitation to her house for Easter. "I don't knoooow. " She said teasing him. "Last time you came, you caused a rukus." She was only kidding of course. Last Christmas had been the very best Christmas thanks to Sabbie. "ill owl mum today and you can come with me. I'll see what she says?"
"Im always up for a game of Marco Polo." Noelle said as she let go of one of Sabbies hands to head towards the ball pit. She kept hold of his other one to steady herself because, again, coordination wasn't her strong point.
Reaching the ball pit, she grinned. Noelle let go of Sabbies hand and launched off the side. "GERONIMO!!" She yelled loudly as she cannon balled into the pit. She sunk about halfway and giggled as her head stuck out. "That didn't work out quite as well as I was planning."
Now it was Sabbies turn.
Noelle looked behind Sabbie and saw a familiar face. "HENRY!!! Hey Henry! Wanna play Marco Polo?? With Dot, Sabbie, and I??" The more the merrier!

When he was done with the dunk tank, Olly ran over to the bounce house. That definitely looked like the most fun part of the carnival. And the prefect running that was Dot! His favorite! And Norah! His other favorite! Man, he was definitely going to spend all the rest of his time here. If only Ellery was there, then he would be with all his favorites ever. Olly wasted no time in throwing off his shoes and climbing into the bounce house. He got to his feet and let the bouncing begin!
Bounce, bounce.
He made his way over to the two older girls and gave both of them a grin. "Hi Dot! Hi Norah! This sure is fun. Did you think of it yourselves?" They had been involved in planning this, right?
There was Noelle, too! He watched as his friend went down the slide and into the ball pit. He moved a few feet closer so he was bouncing next to Sabbath. "Hello," he greeted his fellow first year before peering down toward Noelle. "How is it down there?" He called. It did look fun, but so did the bouncing.

Tia wasn't particularly hungry yet and she kind of feared dunking her professors because what if they took it personally and FAILED her?! Then all her hard work would be for naught. It left very little options for the sixth year, but she was not about to deny Hogwarts of her Ravenclaw pride (and school pride). Although probably wearing a skirt - even if it was knee-length - might not have been the wisest of decisions today, but it would all work out okay. Entering the bounce house, the sixteen year old stood a moment as she deliberated between obstacle course or slide.
Slide. It might not have been the most ladylike of choices and had her mother been around, she probably would have been berated, but it totally sounded more exhilarating at that moment . Crossing her ankles, as she sat down, she closed her eyes and felt herself sliding fast down the steep drop as she was reminded vaguely of going to the playground with her brother years ago. Slides and swings were always her favorite.
"Look out below!" she called as she felt herself nearing the bottom and landing into the pit full of coloured balls (and hopefully not on someone? Cause that would be mighty embarrassing)

Nells was fussin over her outfit. Sabbie shrugged at her "Honestly, how can you even worry Nells? You're the queen of cute, no matter what you wear" he shot her a little smile.
What he was more interested in was getting a return invite to her place for the easter holidays. She said was going to owl her mum about it later, so he had to be happy with that. Suffice to say, he wasn't her mum's favourite person, so he'd just have to wait and see.
The game of Marco polo was set to begin, time to get into the ball pit. Sabbath laughed as Nells called Geronimo as she cannon balled into the pit. Just then, Oliver, his fellow dorm mate had turned up, bouncing beside him. "Hi, Oliver", Sabbath replied with a smile, "Are you going to play Marco Polo with us?"
Noelle was also calling up to someone called Henry, inviting him to play too. Sabbath turned to look behind him and saw another boy who looked about his age that he hadn't met yet, Sabbath gave a little smile, "Hey, mate", he said in greeting to Henry.
Sabbath was going to do a back flip into the pit. "All clear below?" he called, he didn't want to land on anyone. He backed up a few paces, yelled "INCOMING" and ran forward launching himself of the edge of the castle, tucking his legs up into a backflip. He landed in the coloured balls sinking a little way under, before unfurling himself and struggling back up towards the surface, laughing. He looked around for Nells and started kicking over towards her. He had to get out of the way, Oliver and Henry were sure to be following him in soon.

SPOILER!!: Hady
The girls barely had made it through the narrow opening before they were bouncing about. Hady adored bounce houses! It was the perfect time to practice new tricks and dance moves that might not be smart to do on the ground if one wasn't ready. It was also just a good time. How didn't enjoy jumping around?
Oh, AJ was doing flips! Hady grinned at her older friend. "Nice!"
Bouncing around in a circle she glanced sideways towards where the lioness was talking about. It was an obstacle course! Epic!
"Yes! Lets do this!," The brunette nodded her agreement right away. If it was there they would be giving it ago. No point in wasting time.
Yeah, her flip was pretty nice. "Thanks, Hady." AJ continued to jump higher, and higher. Her hair was actually down for once, and it was flowing all around her as she enjoyed the bounce house. During some of her jumps, she couldn't see, but she didn't mind at all. Actually, it was kind of nice. AJ began to close her eyes and enjoy the wind rushing through her hair. Life was good, and she was starting to realize that again.
Hady was down for the obstacle course, and AJ figured that she would be. Really, who wouldn't be? Maybe people that were no fun, but AJ didn't bother herself with those kind of people.
"Awesome. Let me get a feeeew more bounces in." Bounce, bounce, bounce. Okay. She was good. "Let's go!!!" The lion bounced her way over to the obstacle course part of the castle, and waited for Hady to follow her.

"Yep," Hady replied with a small grin. Flips were pretty awesome but for reason she didn't feel to much like doing any at this given moment. So rather then flip about she simply hopped around the space and in circles enjoying the bit of fun. When she glanced over at AJ she saw that she was having a good time too.
Laughing quietly she nodded in reply to the older girl continuing to bounce about. Without any complaints (cause really who would complain about bounce house obstacle courses?) Hady hopped her way on over following AJ. Hop. Bounce. Bounce. Hop. "Ready!" She declared grinning, a hand pointing towards the other part where they were now headed.

Noelle needed to scoot away before Sabbie landed on her head. Except she was waist deep. Bah! Moving balls aside, she managed to push her way through the balls to get a little bit away so anyone jumping in wouldnt land on her.
She was adorable, she didn't need to be landed on.
Noelle was welcoming everyone into the Marco Polo game. Oh you wanna join?? Come right over and join! Except there seemed to be a lot of boys playing. This wasn't fair.
Spotting a girl Tia she called and waved over to her. "Hey!! You!! I don't know your name but wanna come play Marco Polo???" More girls were needed!!
Noelle laughed and clapped as Sabbie jumped.... No back dived into the ball pit. She was impressed. "Youre going to hurt yourself!" Like she was one to talk. She remembered when her and Ollie went and tried to climb the whomping Willow. That had been fun but she'd been scrapped up.
Speaking of Ollie...
"Come on Ollie!!" Except he was too late because Tia was jumping in. Balls flying.
This was going to be fun!!

Henry was lost in his own little world as he happily bounced through the bounce house, though he quickly snapped out of his reverie as he heard someone calling his name and he turned his head in the direction of the voice. Wait.. there was a BALL PIT? Henry's eyes widened as he caught sight of it just past the group of kids. THAT was the bEST THING EVER! His eyes soon found his friend Noelle and he started bouncing towards her.
"Hi!" Henry was all smiles as he greeted the small group of first years. "Hey.. I'm Henry," he told the other boy (Sabbath) who had greeted him as well. "Marco Polo, what's that?" He didn't know, but if it was a game (AND it involved the BALL PIT) then it sounded fun and he was all for it.
He glanced over at Sabbath as the other boy yelled loudly and did a BACK FLIP into the ball pit. "WOAH!" Henry was impressed and he glanced at the other boy (Oliver) in the group. "Did you see that??" That was amazing, but Henry wasn't completely sure he could do something like that himself. Maybe he'd just do a regular jump and build himself up to doing tricks.
And he really couldn't wait to jump in himself. He gave a glance to the boy still on the sidelines with him. "You gonna go in?" Oliver seemed a little hesitant, and surely he wouldn't mind if he jumped in first? Henry would be sure to quickly get out of the way so he could get in too. He backed up a little, then took a running leap into the ball pit. He had done his best to not bump anyone, but he might have misjudged his jump just a little and he miiight have accidentally kicked the older Ravenclaw girl (Tia) in the bum. Oops. "Sorry!" he called out to her, giving her his best apologetic smile.

All that Beatrice wanted to do was feel the weightlessness of bouncing around. After removing her precious cat shoes, she hopped in and started jumping around.
"WHEEEEEEE!!!!!" She was saying, full of glee.
She was just about to head off in one of the other directions from the main bouncy area but... What was that?
A rumble?
Candy canes? "They.. they weren't there before... Were they?" she asked no one in particular.
