WOOOOOO!!

Time for Lux to head to her favourite place in Hogwarts. THIS was where all the magic happened. Okay, maybe not but the house elves did an amazing job. She loved them!

Tickling the pear, she stepped inside and spotted Hady. It was awesome because being in the kitchen with other people was always so much nicer than being there alone. Company was amazing when making food or just eating it!! "Heeeeeya, Hady! You gonna make something?" Heading over to the counter, Lux wondered what was there for them to eat.

Anyone care for a pumpkin pie?
 

Henric tickled the pear in the painting as if it was the natural thing to do. He was dreadfully hungry, he needed something to eat...Oh, seemed like he wasn't alone this time, he gave them both a polite smile before spotting a lone freshly baked pumpkin pie on the table. Woohohoo...come to meh...The elves didn't mind he took a helping for himself,right? He gleefully sneaked towards the table and lifted one slice out of the plate. Whaaat...it was already been cut...noone was eating it soo....
"Bon appetite,"he whispered, savouring every bite he could.Yummeeh....

Hmmm. Hady didn't know what she wanted to make, so maybe Lux could help her. Yep, she was a huge help and knew her way around the kitchen almost as well at the house elves by now. Or well, she liked to think she did.

Maybe they could get some help preparing the food, but for now they were on their own and they could do a spectacular job. "How about we make some cookies?" Always simple and delicious. Milk and cookies were delicious, especially when they were warm and the chocolate was all gooey. Not too many foods beat that!

Humming to herself, Lux began collecting the things they would need in order to bake. "So how are things going?" Anything new and exciting? Was there a boy in the picture? She was tempted to ask about Zeke, but wasn't sure if she should.

Noel was ... not in a good mood. Or in any mood at all to be honest. So he was going to eat because that really was the solution to everything.

He was TOO bummed to actually ask the elves for something, so when he saw Henric with that baked pumpkin pie, Noel picked the whole thing up and joined him. He was not cutting or just taking a slide. He was going to eat until he felt better. "Sup Henric?" he greeted the fellow puff and took his first bite. Ughhhh why was it so good?

Henric was truly enjoying his slice of pumpkin pie and didn't notice Noel had walked in until....he took the whole pie and stuff it into his mouth! He gawked. Noooooo.....he was going to eat two more of that! He turned to glare at the insolent teen beside him, nope...Noel didn't even spare a glance at him. How rude of him...alright then...five more seconds of glaringgggg.. ...watchinggg...stariinng...his preciousss piee slowly vanishing in front of his eyes.... he groaned mentally.He gave up! Noel still not looking at him, what was he...emotionless pie monster eating machine?

He sighed...he guessed he had to make do with his slice.
"Hii..."he replied half-heartedly. He slumped down onto a seat beside him, feeling resigned. Why was he here anyway? Should he be civil even after he took his pie...technically, it wasn't his but...whatever...finee...

"You alright there?"he asked. He looked rather down in the dumps today...should Henric be concerned...hmm...

Each bite was amazing so Noel decided he didn't want anything else in life. He just wanted to eat this pie and if he died by the end of it he'd have no regrets. Yep. He BARELY noticed the glare - he was too busy eating and not sharing.

He shrugged at Henric's question: "It's a sucky life, mate" It was true. Or well life at Hogwarts sucked basically but no one would accept his dislike of this institution so why bother saying it. So he sighed and pushed himself to make boring conversation, "So .. what's up with you?"

"Sucky life?"Henric repeated. Hmm...what was he down and about anyway? He just swallowed a whole great deal of deliciousness down his gallows and he was still alive and well in this world, wasn't he? Why not celebrate life? If he were in his shoes he would...he reminded himself everyday that he almost starved to death back when he was desolate and had nowhere to turn to except the dumps behind his adopted parent's restaurant....but life gave him a second chance.Noel should be grateful...hmm...one of the reason why Henric never quite get along well with him.

Henric never told anyone about his past so he just shrugged, feeling a little sorry for the Hufflepuff housemate,"Ohh..well..yeah...you'll get over it soon enough..."he muttered back.

"Me? Nothing...school...homework...bunch of them...same old same old, I'm just here to grab something to eat...you know...some pie but...I think you got all that covered around your mouth and the..floor,"he replied, glancing over at his not so neat-eater frien~...uhh...companion...yes...Henric was not too fond calling him a friend yet.

Noel wasn't sure HOW he felt about Henric yet. Sure, Noel was pleasant enough to the boy but there was just SOMETHING about him that felt off to Noel. Not to mention the slight sass that rolled off the boy's tongue when he mentioned the pie and how he was eating it. Noel gave him a look and asked after taking a bite: "Did you get this made especially for you?" Because Noel was pretty sure the pie was for anyone's taking.

And then that muttering. On a normal day Noel would have ignored this because eh - who cared? But today he was NOT in a good mood, so he couldn't help but demanding rather icily: "Do you have a problem with me?" Cause it sure seemed like he did.

Henric blinked back at Noel, woah...now he was directing his temperamental mood at him now? Henric frowned slightly," No...it wasn't...the houseselves did them for ALL of us to share, but apparently...it wasn't the case for you..."he replied simply. Was this his hungry mood talking? No...that was definitely not it. Henric was usually with one with a civilised attitude but when Noel mentioned about life being sucky...it irked him somehow...of course, Henric couldn't express how much it hurt his heart a little. Noel wouldn't understand...nobody did....Had he not volunteered at the orphanage? Had he not felt onve the same like them? It was not just his pride he was defending, it was for the orphan children he learnt to care for too.

"No...I do not have a problem with you..I have too many of that in my lifetime that I know for sure that sulking, and directing one's mood swings to people who do appreciate life and ...pies...would not solve a problem, but indirectly creates more problems,"he told him in all seriousness. He stood up from his chair, directly facing him and stood his ground.

Bla bla bla.

The kitchen was Noel's happy place. This was NOT what he came in for. "Listen, buddy. You want this?" he asked with a certain annoyed tone, "take it" he added and pushed the plate towards him. The pie wasn't going to taste the same now anyway.

Noel had gotten up, ready to leave when Henric got up too. This boy was getting on his nerves. Rubbing the sides of his temple to calm himself as the boy went on and on about whatever, Noel TRIED to be patient but to no avail. "I came here to eat and YOU started being .... you. Is this your thing? Walking around telling people how they should feel or eat." Noel did not like it.

Tippinssss diddn'tsss likes alls these studeniesss being measnsss in hisss place, where he makes foods. Tipppinnnsss didnd't likes it at all...

Tippin ranss overs while seeings Materss getting ups and standing nowss..

"Stttooppppp" Tippinnss eyessss were leaking, yes they were. Tippin sadssssssss.

AWWWWWW MAN. They made the house elf cry. T__T

This was NOT how he had planned to spend his time here.

Kneeling down next to the elf, Noel TRIED to rectify the situation. "Please don't cry. Please. I am sorry"

Of course Hady was up for cookies; they were spectacular. Lux BEAMED and continued gathering the things they required. They would need bowls and baking sheets, as well as other things like spoons and measuring cups. She knew where everything was kept by now so that made everything easier. Then came the ingredients. Things went so much faster with her friend helping.

"Making new friends is always nice, but wow - a Howler?" That was slightly surprising since Hady seemed like such a nice and well-mannered girl. "What happened if you don't mind me asking." Because it wasn't every day that a person got a Howler. "Oh, I've just been hanging out with friends and wandering around the castle. Using the two-way mirrors as well." Of course.

Henric glanced down when Noel pushed the plate with the half-eaten pie towards him. Hmm...well...it was expected. He was tempted...yess..verrry.. to just leave with it and be done with their so-and-so 'heated' conversation. But he looked back blankly at Noel, continued staring at him as if he was not at all perturbed with what came next out of his mouth. Him being him? What was that supposed to mean? This was out of his normalcy character if he must know. He opted to remain silent, he didn't want to aggravate him further by answering him with a smart retort. Clearly, Noel didn't take in his words too well and seemed to not care for it either. He was not at all being like that, if Noel was in his shoes, or an inkling to how he survived the cold, and shivering past, Noel would be reacting the same way as he did.


Henric turned to the voice of Tippin, one of Hogwarts loyal house-elf and his favourite one too. Oh no, they caused Tippin to cry! He felt bad all of a sudden, he didn't mean to make the little guy cry...:(

He watched Noel trying to console Tippin who was right now, bawling his eyes out. Forgetting about their row, he knelt down beside Noel and patted the elf's shoulder.

"Tippin, don't cry...its alright,don't cry,"he told the elf with a soft voice. Henric glanced slightly over to Noel before continuing stroking the back of the elf's head, hoping it could bring calm back to him.

Smiling back at Hady, Lux started working on the cookies. She knew that her friend would be there to help her with the ingredients and mixing. It was always so much fun baking with someone else. Her and Bay prepared food together sometimes and that always made for awesome dates.

As they worked, Lux listened to Hady explain the Howler. So...she hadn't been in trouble? Eyebrow raise. That was odd. "What did it say?" Okay, she was curious because it had come from Zeke. She had seen them together in classes and around the school, and it did make her wonder. Not like she was stalking them or anything because that would be creepy or weird - she was just OBSERVANT.

"Mirrors are amazing! Cinna suggested I got them and I am so happy I did." Too bad her and Cinna weren't on good terms anymore, but it was okay. Lux wasn't going to push anything.

Tippinss sees master, Tippins sees that masters nice he is tryinggs.

Tippinns sniffles, "no more fights???? no more means???" Tippin didn'ts likes students being means... Picks ups filthy robess and blows noessss.......

Tippins earsss peaks upps, Tippin being Pattedsss... Eyes widesss. Tippin wants too.... Hugs.... Tippin hugs the masterss. Boths at the same times.

"Friendsssss" Tippin sayssss.

Wooooo. Look at them go!! In no time the chocolate chips were in the dough and they were ready to be placed on the cookie sheets. Carefully Lux started forming the dough into small balls and placing them on the sheets. As she worked with Hady she smiled to herself.

Gosh, her and Zeke were plain adorable and everyone knew it. Well, she thought everyone knew it at least - one could never be too sure about this kind of thing. "That's really sweet of him. Is is always doing really nice stuff like this for you?" Yes, she knew that they were close, but she was curious because she got the strong feeling that something was developing. Lux wasn't going to push it; Hady and Zeke could work it out themselves.

"So you talked to Jaxon lately?" It was nice to hear that they were enjoying their mirrors and keeping in contact with each other.

In no time at all, the cookies were ready to be baked. Lux carefully placed the trays inside the oven. Soon their cookies would be ready and they just needed to make sure not to burn them because no one liked gross and burnt cookies. They were the best when golden brown with gooey chocolate chips.

As she listened to Hady, Lux began cleaning up their work area so that the elves wouldn't have to. Scourgify was an amazing spell, because it made this kind of thing so much easier and faster. Hearing about Hady and Zeke was a lot more interesting than cleaning, however. "I would have freaked out too; I've never gotten a Howler before. So you two are best friends then?" She had assumed as much, but hadn't been positive on the matter. Secretly she was thinking that it wasn't at all uncommon for best friends to start a relationship...

The smile at the mention of Jaxon was adorable; friends really made people happy. She loved her friends. "How big is the time difference?" Merely curious. "I'm happy that I don't have to deal with that kind of thing when I talk to Bay."
