Slytherin House Table banner by hermioneclone The Snakes sit under a beautiful silver and green banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. The food will arrive after the Headmistress' traditional feast speech. To all Slytherins, both new and old: enjoy the feast! |
After last term...Caleb was stressed when it came to the idea of the start of term feast. Not only had they lost a TON of points last year, but they'd had a huge meeting and everything to talk about it and it was awkward and ended up with Ruby getting ripped a new one in front of the whole house...yeah, it was an experience he did NOT want to deal with again. So he arrived nice and early. With his prefect badge shining on his chest. Yeah, try and pull something on him THIS term, Snakes. You'll be sorry. |
Echo bounced over to her house table she was just so excited, another year back at Hogwarts and this time she promised to make more friends, yeah she spoke to people but she didn't really have anyone to confide in. Speaking of people and a very good looking older boy who had helped her out last year at the train station was sitting at the table already.. "Heyyyy" she smiled as stood near him, just way to excited to sit down right now. |
Cutty pulled up to the Slytherin house table and found that he was only one of three snakes there. And one was Caleb Newell, wearing what Cutty thought of as his prefect face whilst the other one observed said face and seemed to be flirting. Or trying to. You might want to up your game a little, sister. This is Caleb Newell. Cutty took a seat at his preferred observance perch and peered out on the students at large and considered them all. Nothing was sacred. |
Of course Adi could not miss dropping by at the Slytherin Table. After Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, most of his friends were Snakes. Plus Cutty was there. Cutty meant the possibility of having exotic sweet at discounted prices. Hehe. "Hello, Cutty. I've got the galleons, you've got the sweets. Let's trade,'' the prefect said by way of greeting as he plopped down beside the other boy. And he was getting right down to business. When it involved sweets, one must always come to the point. Oh and hello there, Caleb and younger girl (Echo). Grins for you both. |
E'rrbody Students were starting to fill in...and Caleb's blood pressure was starting to rise. It didn't help when some girl walked up behind him and started to talk to him, causing him to jump in surprise. Oh, wait, he knew this girl! She was...the cousin of that one girl. Very nice and specific, Caleb. "Um, hello? Wanna sit?" he asked with a chuckle, pointing to a seat next to him. Because that was what people did at feasts, ya know? And then came Cutty. Ohhhhh Cutty. As soon as he sat down, Caleb slid closer to him and whispered "Please tell me you weren't playing with polyjuice potion earlier," even though he was sure he already knew the answer. Also he was being suspicious and such. Just watching them. Actually no that wasn't that suspicious. That was...Cutty. "Hey Adi!" he called, putting on a smile as the Hufflepuff sat down. A welcome distraction. OH CUTTY HAD CANDY? MMMMMM> |
Third Year. It was pretty cool, Dante guessed. The only thing good so far was he was not going to be the first person at the table. He could already see Adi there for some reason. He did not care. And The Prefect and Cutty and a snake younger than him. Wonder if Cutty had candy already. Dante was hungry. |
Even though Dot was well convinced that she wanted to sit at the Ravenclaw table at some point during this feast, she had to make a point of being seen by the Slytherins before she jumped ship. It was about marking her territory and making herself known. Even if she was pretty sure no one knew her, she needed to make some small stand to prove to herself she was trying. She slid into a seat near the middle of the table and gave Cutty a hard look. Bully. He was on the revenge list for what he did to Kyroh, and then she could start learning stuff from him again. And Caleb, who looked... well... "Did you sit on your badge? I can get the nurse. It looks like it hurts, whatever it is." ALSO HER MINION WAS HERE. HI MINION. Adi got a finger wave and hair toss. |
Mention of Caleb, Cutty and Echo :D Kace made his way over to the Slytherin because he wanted to speak to a certain person first. Plus he loved the slytherin's. They were cool and such and he had many friends here too. He found Cutty who he wanted to talk to first. He heard that him and Braedon met and he wanted to know his first impression. "Hey Cutty, I heard you met my cousin Braedon.." he smirked. "What did you think of him?" Now this he gotta hear! As he waited for his answer, he saw Caleb at the table. Man he hadn't seen him in a while. He really grown up. He walked over and gave him a tap on the shoulder so he wouldn't scare the poor kid. "Hey mate.." he smiled and greeted him. "How was your summer?" He was being a curious puff is all. "I think we need to have another kitchen meet up sometime." Now that was a must before he graduated. Now onto Emmy's cousin Echo who he rarely talked to. He made his way over and wanted to talk to her. "Hey Echo..." he greeted her softly. "How have you been? Just a typical conversation starter is all. |
You lovely peeps :D Quote:

Reaching the Slytherin table after her sorting, Jenna plopped into the first empty seat that she found, looking around at all the others that were already seated there. Which ones were in her year? Who would she be rooming with? Should she talk to one of them first or just observe and wait for someone to initiate a conversation? The second one seemed okay for now at least - she didn't want to seem to overly eager or annoying on her first night here. |
Mentioning Cutty as well He had a good summer, and he was a bit bummed to be back in school so soon. After a year’s worth of studying for his OWLs last term, the summer break was surely not enough to compensate for the time he spent with his academic books. However, the field trip was somewhat, eventful since he was able to spend it with Josie, and that the kelpie business unfolded...nicely somehow. Lots of action and adventure transpired, but it’s not something he’d do again in the future. After getting off the carriage that took him to the castle, Ethan made his way towards the Great Hall, and automatically sauntered to the Snake’s table. His eyes were on the Staff Table as he did so, and noted that Professor Millard’s missing, and so is Romanos. The Defense professor’s chair though, was occupied by a man. Well, it shouldn’t come as a surprise since Professor Romanos was MIA last term. Ethan also eyed the very tanned Professor Botros, and his stomach churned uncomfortably. He did pass his Runes OWLs, but the grade wasn’t satisfactory enough for the boy, wondering if he should even be present during his lectures. Quote:
Ugh. When did he become so bad with greetings and introductions?! |
And anyone else? :3 SEVENTH YEAR, SNITCHES. Bopping his collar and letting his infamous smirk spread across his face, Grayson swaggered into the Great Hall. Sure, he hadn't seen his girlfriend on the train -- seriously? Where in the freaking name of Merlin was she?! -- and he had to spend most of it sleeping or whatever, but the dude was BACK, BABY! Back to seeing his friends -- all five of them or however many there were -- and annoying people for the lulz and just being generally cool and awesome. The school and NEWTs part was being forgotten about. Obviously. Oh look! There were some cool people here! WAZZUUUUUUUUP! "'Sup, guys," he said, giving a nod and a smile to the Mordaunts -- jeez, talk about family bonding -- Dante, Adster, Dot and Kace as he sat down on a spare seat, "Good summer and all that?" He kinda missed it already; the sleeping in and hanging out and snogging wheneeeeeeever he wanted. All so great, man. |

"No, just...on the lookout. So no funny business!" he added with a joke, trying to make light of the situation with a wink. He knew the young girl well enough to know that she was MOSTLY harmless. Quote:
Plus it was a not so fun reminder that he himself had only two years in this place before he had to be an ADULT and stuff and that was just depressing. Quote:
"Hey mate! How was your summer?" he asked. Hopefully not filled with letters from the school telling him he had failed everything. Quote:
Meh. Maybe he'd try and be like...nice or something this term. At least civil. The thought of someone leaving school and NOT liking him really bothered him because...well, it just did. "Hey Grayson, excited for NEWT year?" he asked with a sly grin. |
Cutty and anybody?? she won't bite, I think. Rorie was unusually...quiet. In much contrary to her festive hair and the way she acted this time last year. Surprisingly, she wasn't even in the mood to complain about this place or it's dreadful fashion choice. She had a summer that many would envy and yet...she still felt...empty. Silently, she slid in next to Cutty, not really looking up to say hello or anything. The 15 year-old just stared at the silverware in front of her with her hands at her sides. Maybe it was because she wasn't looking to start trouble, at least today. She hadn't the will to deal with threats and whatnot. Her reflection in the well-polished plate was the only eye contact she was making. |
Final year. Zhenya walked into The Great Hall for her last start of term feast. She had those nervous butterflies in her stomach, but she knew she was actually excited to be leaving Hogwarts. She just wasn't looking forward to the… NEWTs. She made her way to the Slytherin table, noticing a few green robes and… some yellow ones. It was ADI! And another Hufflepuff whom she had never spoken with. She nervously sat down and let her eyes move around the hall, noticing the other house tables and the staff table. "Hi Everyone," she said, giving a small smile and wave. |
Puck didn’t head to her own table first off, no, she had a plan and this was the perfect time to enact it. A determined smirk on her face she simply walked over to where Cutty and Caleb were sitting and grinned. She did of course give her wonderfully colorful haired friend a grin as well. But this was important. “Hey Cutty,” Puck grinned as she simply sat on the bench across from Rorie, Cutty, and Caleb. This had to happen. It had to. She’d get out of the area soon enough. ”Cutty, that threat from earlier still stands…I will enlist help in burning the collection of hair that you have going and that would be a travesty…or we’ll work together because I do consider you a friend.“ Puck grinned and turned a brighter smile on the trio now that the idle threats were out of the way. “How were your summer’s guys?” She asked happily, “Can you believe some guy impersonated me Caleb?” Puck laughed and did shiftily send Cutty a little glance. Yes, she was telling him she had caught on as well. It was more like a don’t worry your friend is going to live thing….becuase she wasn’t vindictive. She just needed to get something out of the people pretending to be her thing, there was a market in that. “Rorie how are you?” She beamed happily, “how’d baby sitting the little kid go?” She asked because obviously she had hung out with her when she wasn’t working with taking care of the girl. |
A thought just occurred to Adi... what if Cutty had no sweets? :whaa: Noooo. Adi NEEDED his sweets. Yesh, so you be a good Snake, Cutty Mordaunt, and have the delicious goodies for this Hufflepuff. But even if there was the faintest chance of there being no sweets, there were his friends here! LOADS of them (and no mean House Ghost to shoo him away), starting with Caleb. "Hiiii, again, Caleb. How did you do for OWLs?" Adi had failed to ask that earlier in the Prefects' compartment. And there was Dante, the young Snake Adi considered himself to be friendly with. Hello, Dante! But then... DOT happened! The usual finger wave and a cool hair flip. Er... should he do a bow or something? Just for the heck and the fun of it, the sixth year stood up and bent his upper half before righting himself with a grin on his face. "Hi, Queen. Any work for the Head Minion?'' Also, there was the coolest Snake! "Grayson! Hey, man! Thanks for the advice about OWLs earlier last term. I passed them all.'' ALLLLL the advice he had gotten, Adi had been grateful for them. Adi smiled slightly at the girl (Rorie) who had caused quite a bit of trouble earlier but then his eyes moved towards Zhenya. "Hi! Did you see Jackson got Sorted into Gryffindor?" |

Beverly wasn't in a terrible mood and she asked herself why? Why wasn't she? She usually was. She should be considering this term's changes. It had to be a seventh year thing. Soon she'd be free from this So with a sort of bounce to her step, Prefect Beverly Wayne strode over the Slytherin table. She took a moment to pause at the end of the table and survey all who were there. Anybody who tried something stupid this term she'd let Caleb deal with it. Last term she had to deal with the Ravenclaw table all on her own and ended up at the Headmistress' office on the first morning back. No waaaay. Not on the first day again. She was sticking to her table, it's where her nose belonged anyway. Due to the okay mood, she shot a few fellows a greeting. There was Caleb, Aditya, Ethan and Grayson -- the latter whom received the traditional thump on the arm. Was he working those muscles? Then there was her favorite Snake, and just because she felt like it, Beverly flopped herself next to Cutty Mordaunt and squished him quickly before sitting up straight. O_O What? "Mordaunt." Formal nod, too. |
For anyone! Ilia followed her feet and found herself at a beautifully decorated table , colored in green and silver. The crest for her new found placement? A snake. She smiled a little at the coincidence of the creature that showed above her and though about her meeting with Henric in the menagerie shop.....and their toad....At least she had one or two friends, because she knew no one at this table. The tall fourteen year old was a bit awkward and not the best at self introduction since she often avoided people. This was a new school and she was more alone than she ever had been though, so she needed to at least try. She looked the length of the table at all the other people talking to each other, most of the people here seemed to know someone. Not sure what she should do, or who she should try to speak to, she decided that she would find an uninhabited corner of the table to sit at and watch the other students. |

So it had taken two years but Ruby might maybe have possibly learned a lesson. Maybe. At least her uniform was correct and proper. Mostly. Aside from a lump under her jumper which, as she walked, might have been heard to let out a tiny "--MEW!" of protest at the jolting. Or maybe you were imagining things? Maybe. She of course squished in right next to Grayson. Yes, move over whoever else. Her attention was on her boyfriend for one particular reason right now. "--MEW!" .... what was that? "Graaayyy I have something for youuuu." |

Ravenclaws were better for banter. "I'm never funny, sir. Promise. I'm sometimes silly and occasionally clever, but never funny." So he could worry about... oh, Ruby was here. He should worry about her. Quote:
She couldn't hear the words the girl muttered to her housemate, but they were definitely threatening. Oh hells no. Gryffindor girls didn't show up at the Slytherin table and boss around Dot's housemates. Nope. "Someone impersonated you? How do you know? Did they do a good job of it? How could you tell that it was a guy impersonating you? I mean, maybe it was a girl just trying to get down your naturally masculine mannerisms, you think?" Dot tilted her head and made interested faces. Go back to your table, Lion. Quote:
