Slytherin House Table banner by hermioneclone The Snakes sit under a beautiful silver and green banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. The food will arrive after the Headmistress' traditional feast speech. To all Slytherins, both new and old: enjoy the feast! |
After last term...Caleb was stressed when it came to the idea of the start of term feast. Not only had they lost a TON of points last year, but they'd had a huge meeting and everything to talk about it and it was awkward and ended up with Ruby getting ripped a new one in front of the whole house...yeah, it was an experience he did NOT want to deal with again. So he arrived nice and early. With his prefect badge shining on his chest. Yeah, try and pull something on him THIS term, Snakes. You'll be sorry. |
Echo bounced over to her house table she was just so excited, another year back at Hogwarts and this time she promised to make more friends, yeah she spoke to people but she didn't really have anyone to confide in. Speaking of people and a very good looking older boy who had helped her out last year at the train station was sitting at the table already.. "Heyyyy" she smiled as stood near him, just way to excited to sit down right now. |
Cutty pulled up to the Slytherin house table and found that he was only one of three snakes there. And one was Caleb Newell, wearing what Cutty thought of as his prefect face whilst the other one observed said face and seemed to be flirting. Or trying to. You might want to up your game a little, sister. This is Caleb Newell. Cutty took a seat at his preferred observance perch and peered out on the students at large and considered them all. Nothing was sacred. |
Of course Adi could not miss dropping by at the Slytherin Table. After Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, most of his friends were Snakes. Plus Cutty was there. Cutty meant the possibility of having exotic sweet at discounted prices. Hehe. "Hello, Cutty. I've got the galleons, you've got the sweets. Let's trade,'' the prefect said by way of greeting as he plopped down beside the other boy. And he was getting right down to business. When it involved sweets, one must always come to the point. Oh and hello there, Caleb and younger girl (Echo). Grins for you both. |
E'rrbody Students were starting to fill in...and Caleb's blood pressure was starting to rise. It didn't help when some girl walked up behind him and started to talk to him, causing him to jump in surprise. Oh, wait, he knew this girl! She was...the cousin of that one girl. Very nice and specific, Caleb. "Um, hello? Wanna sit?" he asked with a chuckle, pointing to a seat next to him. Because that was what people did at feasts, ya know? And then came Cutty. Ohhhhh Cutty. As soon as he sat down, Caleb slid closer to him and whispered "Please tell me you weren't playing with polyjuice potion earlier," even though he was sure he already knew the answer. Also he was being suspicious and such. Just watching them. Actually no that wasn't that suspicious. That was...Cutty. "Hey Adi!" he called, putting on a smile as the Hufflepuff sat down. A welcome distraction. OH CUTTY HAD CANDY? MMMMMM> |
Third Year. It was pretty cool, Dante guessed. The only thing good so far was he was not going to be the first person at the table. He could already see Adi there for some reason. He did not care. And The Prefect and Cutty and a snake younger than him. Wonder if Cutty had candy already. Dante was hungry. |
Even though Dot was well convinced that she wanted to sit at the Ravenclaw table at some point during this feast, she had to make a point of being seen by the Slytherins before she jumped ship. It was about marking her territory and making herself known. Even if she was pretty sure no one knew her, she needed to make some small stand to prove to herself she was trying. She slid into a seat near the middle of the table and gave Cutty a hard look. Bully. He was on the revenge list for what he did to Kyroh, and then she could start learning stuff from him again. And Caleb, who looked... well... "Did you sit on your badge? I can get the nurse. It looks like it hurts, whatever it is." ALSO HER MINION WAS HERE. HI MINION. Adi got a finger wave and hair toss. |
Mention of Caleb, Cutty and Echo :D Kace made his way over to the Slytherin because he wanted to speak to a certain person first. Plus he loved the slytherin's. They were cool and such and he had many friends here too. He found Cutty who he wanted to talk to first. He heard that him and Braedon met and he wanted to know his first impression. "Hey Cutty, I heard you met my cousin Braedon.." he smirked. "What did you think of him?" Now this he gotta hear! As he waited for his answer, he saw Caleb at the table. Man he hadn't seen him in a while. He really grown up. He walked over and gave him a tap on the shoulder so he wouldn't scare the poor kid. "Hey mate.." he smiled and greeted him. "How was your summer?" He was being a curious puff is all. "I think we need to have another kitchen meet up sometime." Now that was a must before he graduated. Now onto Emmy's cousin Echo who he rarely talked to. He made his way over and wanted to talk to her. "Hey Echo..." he greeted her softly. "How have you been? Just a typical conversation starter is all. |
You lovely peeps :D Quote:

Reaching the Slytherin table after her sorting, Jenna plopped into the first empty seat that she found, looking around at all the others that were already seated there. Which ones were in her year? Who would she be rooming with? Should she talk to one of them first or just observe and wait for someone to initiate a conversation? The second one seemed okay for now at least - she didn't want to seem to overly eager or annoying on her first night here. |
Mentioning Cutty as well He had a good summer, and he was a bit bummed to be back in school so soon. After a year’s worth of studying for his OWLs last term, the summer break was surely not enough to compensate for the time he spent with his academic books. However, the field trip was somewhat, eventful since he was able to spend it with Josie, and that the kelpie business unfolded...nicely somehow. Lots of action and adventure transpired, but it’s not something he’d do again in the future. After getting off the carriage that took him to the castle, Ethan made his way towards the Great Hall, and automatically sauntered to the Snake’s table. His eyes were on the Staff Table as he did so, and noted that Professor Millard’s missing, and so is Romanos. The Defense professor’s chair though, was occupied by a man. Well, it shouldn’t come as a surprise since Professor Romanos was MIA last term. Ethan also eyed the very tanned Professor Botros, and his stomach churned uncomfortably. He did pass his Runes OWLs, but the grade wasn’t satisfactory enough for the boy, wondering if he should even be present during his lectures. Quote:
Ugh. When did he become so bad with greetings and introductions?! |
And anyone else? :3 SEVENTH YEAR, SNITCHES. Bopping his collar and letting his infamous smirk spread across his face, Grayson swaggered into the Great Hall. Sure, he hadn't seen his girlfriend on the train -- seriously? Where in the freaking name of Merlin was she?! -- and he had to spend most of it sleeping or whatever, but the dude was BACK, BABY! Back to seeing his friends -- all five of them or however many there were -- and annoying people for the lulz and just being generally cool and awesome. The school and NEWTs part was being forgotten about. Obviously. Oh look! There were some cool people here! WAZZUUUUUUUUP! "'Sup, guys," he said, giving a nod and a smile to the Mordaunts -- jeez, talk about family bonding -- Dante, Adster, Dot and Kace as he sat down on a spare seat, "Good summer and all that?" He kinda missed it already; the sleeping in and hanging out and snogging wheneeeeeeever he wanted. All so great, man. |
Quote:
"No, just...on the lookout. So no funny business!" he added with a joke, trying to make light of the situation with a wink. He knew the young girl well enough to know that she was MOSTLY harmless. Quote:
Plus it was a not so fun reminder that he himself had only two years in this place before he had to be an ADULT and stuff and that was just depressing. Quote:
"Hey mate! How was your summer?" he asked. Hopefully not filled with letters from the school telling him he had failed everything. Quote:
Meh. Maybe he'd try and be like...nice or something this term. At least civil. The thought of someone leaving school and NOT liking him really bothered him because...well, it just did. "Hey Grayson, excited for NEWT year?" he asked with a sly grin. |
Cutty and anybody?? she won't bite, I think. Rorie was unusually...quiet. In much contrary to her festive hair and the way she acted this time last year. Surprisingly, she wasn't even in the mood to complain about this place or it's dreadful fashion choice. She had a summer that many would envy and yet...she still felt...empty. Silently, she slid in next to Cutty, not really looking up to say hello or anything. The 15 year-old just stared at the silverware in front of her with her hands at her sides. Maybe it was because she wasn't looking to start trouble, at least today. She hadn't the will to deal with threats and whatnot. Her reflection in the well-polished plate was the only eye contact she was making. |
Final year. Zhenya walked into The Great Hall for her last start of term feast. She had those nervous butterflies in her stomach, but she knew she was actually excited to be leaving Hogwarts. She just wasn't looking forward to the… NEWTs. She made her way to the Slytherin table, noticing a few green robes and… some yellow ones. It was ADI! And another Hufflepuff whom she had never spoken with. She nervously sat down and let her eyes move around the hall, noticing the other house tables and the staff table. "Hi Everyone," she said, giving a small smile and wave. |
Puck didn’t head to her own table first off, no, she had a plan and this was the perfect time to enact it. A determined smirk on her face she simply walked over to where Cutty and Caleb were sitting and grinned. She did of course give her wonderfully colorful haired friend a grin as well. But this was important. “Hey Cutty,” Puck grinned as she simply sat on the bench across from Rorie, Cutty, and Caleb. This had to happen. It had to. She’d get out of the area soon enough. ”Cutty, that threat from earlier still stands…I will enlist help in burning the collection of hair that you have going and that would be a travesty…or we’ll work together because I do consider you a friend.“ Puck grinned and turned a brighter smile on the trio now that the idle threats were out of the way. “How were your summer’s guys?” She asked happily, “Can you believe some guy impersonated me Caleb?” Puck laughed and did shiftily send Cutty a little glance. Yes, she was telling him she had caught on as well. It was more like a don’t worry your friend is going to live thing….becuase she wasn’t vindictive. She just needed to get something out of the people pretending to be her thing, there was a market in that. “Rorie how are you?” She beamed happily, “how’d baby sitting the little kid go?” She asked because obviously she had hung out with her when she wasn’t working with taking care of the girl. |
A thought just occurred to Adi... what if Cutty had no sweets? :whaa: Noooo. Adi NEEDED his sweets. Yesh, so you be a good Snake, Cutty Mordaunt, and have the delicious goodies for this Hufflepuff. But even if there was the faintest chance of there being no sweets, there were his friends here! LOADS of them (and no mean House Ghost to shoo him away), starting with Caleb. "Hiiii, again, Caleb. How did you do for OWLs?" Adi had failed to ask that earlier in the Prefects' compartment. And there was Dante, the young Snake Adi considered himself to be friendly with. Hello, Dante! But then... DOT happened! The usual finger wave and a cool hair flip. Er... should he do a bow or something? Just for the heck and the fun of it, the sixth year stood up and bent his upper half before righting himself with a grin on his face. "Hi, Queen. Any work for the Head Minion?'' Also, there was the coolest Snake! "Grayson! Hey, man! Thanks for the advice about OWLs earlier last term. I passed them all.'' ALLLLL the advice he had gotten, Adi had been grateful for them. Adi smiled slightly at the girl (Rorie) who had caused quite a bit of trouble earlier but then his eyes moved towards Zhenya. "Hi! Did you see Jackson got Sorted into Gryffindor?" |

Beverly wasn't in a terrible mood and she asked herself why? Why wasn't she? She usually was. She should be considering this term's changes. It had to be a seventh year thing. Soon she'd be free from this So with a sort of bounce to her step, Prefect Beverly Wayne strode over the Slytherin table. She took a moment to pause at the end of the table and survey all who were there. Anybody who tried something stupid this term she'd let Caleb deal with it. Last term she had to deal with the Ravenclaw table all on her own and ended up at the Headmistress' office on the first morning back. No waaaay. Not on the first day again. She was sticking to her table, it's where her nose belonged anyway. Due to the okay mood, she shot a few fellows a greeting. There was Caleb, Aditya, Ethan and Grayson -- the latter whom received the traditional thump on the arm. Was he working those muscles? Then there was her favorite Snake, and just because she felt like it, Beverly flopped herself next to Cutty Mordaunt and squished him quickly before sitting up straight. O_O What? "Mordaunt." Formal nod, too. |
For anyone! Ilia followed her feet and found herself at a beautifully decorated table , colored in green and silver. The crest for her new found placement? A snake. She smiled a little at the coincidence of the creature that showed above her and though about her meeting with Henric in the menagerie shop.....and their toad....At least she had one or two friends, because she knew no one at this table. The tall fourteen year old was a bit awkward and not the best at self introduction since she often avoided people. This was a new school and she was more alone than she ever had been though, so she needed to at least try. She looked the length of the table at all the other people talking to each other, most of the people here seemed to know someone. Not sure what she should do, or who she should try to speak to, she decided that she would find an uninhabited corner of the table to sit at and watch the other students. |

So it had taken two years but Ruby might maybe have possibly learned a lesson. Maybe. At least her uniform was correct and proper. Mostly. Aside from a lump under her jumper which, as she walked, might have been heard to let out a tiny "--MEW!" of protest at the jolting. Or maybe you were imagining things? Maybe. She of course squished in right next to Grayson. Yes, move over whoever else. Her attention was on her boyfriend for one particular reason right now. "--MEW!" .... what was that? "Graaayyy I have something for youuuu." |

Ravenclaws were better for banter. "I'm never funny, sir. Promise. I'm sometimes silly and occasionally clever, but never funny." So he could worry about... oh, Ruby was here. He should worry about her. Quote:
She couldn't hear the words the girl muttered to her housemate, but they were definitely threatening. Oh hells no. Gryffindor girls didn't show up at the Slytherin table and boss around Dot's housemates. Nope. "Someone impersonated you? How do you know? Did they do a good job of it? How could you tell that it was a guy impersonating you? I mean, maybe it was a girl just trying to get down your naturally masculine mannerisms, you think?" Dot tilted her head and made interested faces. Go back to your table, Lion. Quote:

He laughed,"Yeah! I didn't quite expect you to be in Slytherin though, wish you could be in Hufflepuff, we need someone like you in the team,"he added, lightheartedly. "More importantly, Princess has been jumping around a lot lately, I guess she knows that she is going to meet her other owner again,"he chuckled."She is now enjoying her new scenery down in my dormitory,I will bring it to you as soon as we finished eating, I bet she is hungry again, honestly that little toad of ours need to watch her eating habits,"he joked. |
*casually pretends Cutty has 5 or so sides* :3 Text Cut: ADI MY LOVE! "It's like yew're performing legilimency." He said closing the space between he and Adi and leaning his head against Adi's shoulder. "Yew say the most beautiful things ter me, Adi Rehman." He said stroking the side of the Hufflepuff Prefects face playfully and flirtatiously as his head rested on the boy's shoulder. He knew Adi wouldn't take it seriously and even if he did he wasn't likely to lose his cool over it. It was Caleb Cutty was taking a risk with. But the reactions tell one so much. So he had to do it. Probably not tonight, though. Cranky Caleb would be alive and well after a train ride home and if IF there were incidents it was a no go. Thinking of Caleb... Text Cut: Caleb, Puck & Dot "Playing? I prefer to think of it as applying the practical knowledge of what we learned in class and in our textbooks." Which was a pretty solid yes. "Booht, thanks for not narkin' on me. I thought yew'd sussed me out earlier." But there again Caleb Newell did have a front-row seat to the Cutty Mordaunt experience. "I'm trying out a new thing." He began, going into explaining how he planned to apply a system of credit to his candy selling business for repeat buyers and some of the older students. But that was about when they were joined by Puck Greyvson herself. Cutty looked over at Puck amused at her threat. He wasn't afraid of loss. And anyway, how was she going to do that. He had the Slytherins above and beneath him. Perhaps, though Rorie would help her. Though there was the glaring fact that at that moment in time, he had something Rorie wanted. And it was as for sale as it had always been. The price, though could've been negotiated. Also, who said it was hair? "The nerve of some people!" This could be kinda fun. Before he could say much on the matter, however the girls began to talk. Cutty caught the hardlook Dot was giving him and sorta correctly interpreted it. He raised his eyebrows once and smiled faintly with a smirky sort of smile at her. Whatever she'd thought of him, whatever she'd heard, no matter how nefarious, he was sure he'd done it. Even if he hadn't done it. Even if he'd been in Cleveland the entire time. He'd done it. Oh yeah, baby. That was all him. The smile then disappeared behind Dante's water goblet. Moments later some of that water came spurting out across the table and probably hitting Beverly, Dante and Rorie, perhaps even Puck herself. What the hell did Goosey just say? In the wild, it was the baby rattlers that were considered most deadly for they never knew exactly how much poison to inject and would often over do it. "What if yer not the real Puck Greyvson either?" He asked the real Puck Greyvson enjoying the opportunity of messing with her a bit. Not maliciously of course. There was no benefit and she came him no cause. Also, it was hella impractical to try to take all things all the time. Text Cut: Kace. Oh. Kace. "Hey Lecium." It had been fun that duel they did. He'd only just met Kace, but so far so good. He wasn't a total brick and didn't get hung up on his own personal ideals or try to shove them down Cutty's throat. Nothing petty either. Not that the snake could see. And the little flirting girl. Her name was apparently Echo. And she apparently shared an acquaintance with Kace. She seemed awfully young too now that Cutty got an up close look at her. He hadn't noticed that before. There again, some individuals looked a great deal off in the ages here. And after that term that he'd turned into a raisin he'd sort of abandoned judging people for not looking their age. It was hard to tell anyway with magical interference always ready to rear it's head. If Caleb flirted back with an equally engaging Heeey! maybe he'd be double datin' with Kace. Cutty thought that'd be interesting. "Oh, Braedon. Yeah." Cutty thought back to his first encounter with Braedon. "I'd actually met him quite a while ago in Diagon Alley, but we didn't say much to each other then." What did he think of Braedon? Cutty's thoughts were electric with all manner of uses a guy like Braedon could have. "He is a wise man, Kace. A very wise man." He knew pretty much everything and just volunteered information too. No manipulation necessary. Text Cut: Dante They were soon joined by another young snake. It was Barrington. Silent as ever. But who at this school hadn't witnessed a thing or two. It gave Cutty the impression that Dante was very good at keeping secrets. Also, looking hungry. Which gave Cutty the opportunity to introduce a new form of chocolate. "Try a snapping turtle. It's the snack that bites back." The little chocolate turtles, in much the same way chocolate frogs were charmed to leap, would snap down upon the eater's tongue once in the mouth and cling until melting. Which meant that you could run and jump and play til your hearts content without fear of losing your chocolate. Although, the makers claimed that it prevented choking, a rival chocolate company argued otherwise. Text Cut: Jenna "Hey. Welcome to Slytherin." He said smiling at the wee firstie. He wanted her to say something, because he liked to laugh to himself about the squeaky voice they still had, but this one was very quiet. "I'm Cutty Mordaunt, 6th year and best friends with both Prefects. If yer need anything don't be afraid to ask." He offered perhaps unintentionally reading as a bit poisonous. Text Cut: Ethan Spending more time with his cousin was an idea. He didn't dislike Ethan. At all, really. Had he changed like night and day? Cutty thought so. At least from his initial introduction to the boy. He was more of a goofball. Playing the mandolin poorly in the common room and ill-fitting at the Slytherin table. He still was a bit. Despite having worn the title of prefect. Ethan was a diamond amongst razors. And he stuck out all the more with Simon scarce these days. "Hey Ethan." There wasn't anyone there to buddy up with. And he'd seen a sort of fierce loyalty from Ethan that was rare. "We should hang out more." Okay, but that was a little random. With Caleb and Ethan talking, Cutty actually noticed some similarities between the two boys. Healer Murdoch was totally type casting. Text Cut: Grayson & Ruby "Nar! Mine was awful! Course it twas. I didn't get ter see yer beautiful face!" He flirted with Grayson Whitlock as he often did. Then he heard it. Then he saw it. Then he had to do everything in his power to keep from making jokes about things in clothing and gladness to see even though they wouldn't have worked because Ruby Banner was a girl. "Ruby Banner, why is your tummy going Mew! Mew!" And that last part he actually did raise his voice an octave higher to imitate the kitten. Text Cut: Zhenya "Burton." Cutty greeted the 7th year back. "Ready for yer final year?" Which reminded him. It was Grayson's final year too. And Toby's. He tried hard not to smile creepily at the thought of influence a 7th year has. Maybe he'd asked Zhenya to mentor him. If she had time. Sometimes the entire year is spent studying. Text Cut: Rorie Cutty caught the deadish expression of the tricked-fairly-pseudo girlfriend in the reflection of their shiny dinner plates before her attention was turned to Puck. "It was delicious as every pie stolen with love inevitably is." He shot a look over at Gryffindor, his big dark eyes searching for Damien Anderson-Belfort and making plans to meet up with him. Text Cut: Beverly Cherry Blossom something was wafting through the air announcing the best-friend's presence. Cutty turned his head to see the not-disappointing sight of Beverly Wayne. Another terminal termer. Boo! Maybe he could mess with her grades and hold her back. But then he'd miss the benefit of having a friend out in the real world making that elephant path. He still hadn't met her dad, though. Why? Was Bev somehow asham... Bev's tiny little arms were around his arms and he was being squished. Was he cursing him? Had someone started a rumour that he needed to deny? No, wait, no...This was...Bev was HUGGING him. When she did her usual greeting, though it was as if someone had wiped his memory clean. "Wayne." He replied casually taking a drink from his Dante's water glass just in case his was poisoned. "Have a good summer?" |
Penelope had her stack of posters that advertised the pet rock adoption fair. She approached the Slytherin table and spoke to the students near her, especially the younger ones who didn't seem as intimidating as some of the older ones. "Does anyone want to adopt a pet rock? They are very low maintenance pets and literally live forever! If you come by the table by the entrance to the Great Hall now, you can get a pet rock that comes with a care manual and rock candy!" Some of these Slytherins might be more likely to start their own pet rock business if the pet rocks proved to be popular. Eyes on you, Cutty Mordaunt, the one who was apparently in the business of selling sweets. He had better stick to sweets. |
lala shoving Brooklyn into ze group (Cutty, Ethan, etc.) The train ride had been uneventful, for her anyhow. Brooklyn had meant for it to be, after the craziness of the field trip and everything. Being stuck for extended periods of time around people she was trying to ignore did that, and as she’d gotten to the Slytherin table, she’d narrowed her eyes a little as she saw said Hufflepuff there. Oh well, she could still pretend he wasn’t there. She still chose to sit across from Ethan, almost as if that was her accustomed spot since first year, giving a smile to him, Cutty, Caleb, Beverly, Dot, Dante and even Grayson and Ruby. The Slytherins of the group, although she’d looked sideways at the Gryffindor (Puck) she’d sat next to. Why were all these non-Snakes invading? It was weird. And a Ravenclaw advertising pet rock adoptions? Even stranger. Unless she could make the rock into another Balerion, she didn’t care. The mewing from Ruby’s jumper was more intriguing. |
And for Grayson, and anyone who is interested mhmm Quote:
You know, like Agatha. In any case, right now, there were more MEWs coming from her jumper. And she was about to break Grayson Whitlock. Was everyone watching? Because she was. His heart would implode and he would be at her mercy, she just knew it, and was smug about it in advance. Another demanding little MEW was all the encouragement she needed. They were getting louder, those noises, so she reached under her jumper and extracted the culprit. "I got you a kitten. You have to name her." |
SPOILER!!: Adi-woo! "I did," Zhenya said, a big smile on her face. "I think all transfer students have some Lion in them." Yeah, becauuuuuse it took guts to join as anything other than a first year. At least firsties were all together. But it would have been nice for another snake friend. Though Adi was a friend and he was a badger friend, so a lion friend was great too. SPOILER!!: Cutty Burton? Zhenya recognised her surname, and looked to the voice. "Hi," she greeted with a friendly smile. But the smile drooped a little. final year… that meant only one thing. "Oh… I guess so. Not looking forward to exams. I think my hair's already falling out. How'd your OWL's go?" SPOILER!!: Penelope Zhenya almost choked on the air… adopt a pet rock? Err… was this actually a thing? She looked at the young Claw and narrowed her eyes to focus on the poster she was holding. Yep, Pet Rock Adoption Fair. Riiiiight… a care manual and rock candy? "Um… is there some kind of reason why there are rocks for adoption? Like… some kind of charity event or fundraiser or something?" she asked gently. Like… did they have to pay, donate money or something? Or was it just to adopt a pet rock? What if she accidentally killed it or something? Did she have to find sponsors for something? But she already had an owl. And he sent letters. What would a rock do? |

Now that he was speaking about their little girl Ilia smiled brightly. "I will be so happy to see her. I'm glad she is happy." When he said that she needed to watch her eating habits , she giggled a little. "She is a growing girl, she needs to eat. I can bring the things I got her to you. I packed food for her and a little house and some other things." Honestly , Ilia went a little crazy with getting things for their little princess toadette. SPOILER!!: Pet Rocks :D Ilia heard pet and adoption, so she looked over at the girl who had come up to the table. A pet.....rock? Was that some odd British common name for some creature or.....did she actually mean a rock? From the description and the posters.....she was pretty sure the girl really did mean a rock. She was very confused by this and wondered if it was just a British thing. Rocks weren't alive........an idea dawned on her though. Something that might.....just might.....bug her mother. She said she couldn't bring any pets home, but had emphasized with the words 'no more animals in this house'. A rock wasn't an animal. So....in a sense.....she could get a pet without disobeying. Loophole! She thought it was odd and possibly silly, but she knew it would annoy her mother without actually getting her into trouble. "I will take a poster?" She offered to the girl that looked around her age. She smiled at Henric, they could get princess a pet rock! Yup she was being a crazy toad mom. |
anyone can claim Abby made her way over to the slytherin table and looked up and down the table to see if Hady was about but she wasn't so she thought that she would wait and see whether anybody would talk to her |
The Slytherin table was being very Slytherin at the moment. So NATURALLY Hughbert had to waddle in all gangsta-like to mess up that equilibrium. He fumbled into his usual seat slightly apart from the people so that he could philosophise and eat without mouth breathers getting in his way. This curvaceous miracle body took a lot of upkeep, yo. Slamming his Freud book on the table, the one he didn't get to finish on the train because of rude cats and compartment interrupters, Hugh flipped to his page and went on reading. He probably should have been more careful with hiding the pictures in the book. Because Freud. But he didn't see much problem with it. Educational, really. |
Henric noted the facial expression from llia and felt a little bad because he thought he might have said something wrong to her.He made it up by saying to her,"llia, don't worry,we can still meet up whenever if you like, we still need to train Princess to do some tricks and who knows enter a toads race competition or more, we are both not going anywhere, you still have us Hufflepuffs to show you around," he grinned. Henric nodded,"Sure,I'm afraid I've run out of crickets to feed her, lucky to have you to take care of her,I'm sure she will love having a new place to stay,"he told her. That little toad would be so pampered, he still couldn't believe he almost spend all of his dragon cards collection money on her. That was how much he cared for that toad...yup. Henric turned around and faced the Ravenclaw girl. She was giving out posters and yelling about anyone willing to adopt a pet rock? What was that? A new magical creature? He most certainly never heard of it before in his life. Why would anyone adopt a rock? Henric was more surprised when llia had taken her poster. Was she serious? No way...He wondered what was she on about? She had that idea look again. "You're not serious on adopting one are you?"he asked. "What would you do if you got one?" he asked again, peering at the poster. He saw Adi already heading out towards the entrance too, he sure had some strange yet incredible friends.(Haha) |
Tabby headed straight from her sorting to the Slytherin table without a second glance at any of the other houses. Her mum would be OH SO PROUD that her eldest daughter was following in her footsteps. ALL these people were BIG. Tabby wasn't phased though, nor put off by the Slytherin banter of the older kids, and took her rightful place at the table, squeezing in next to one of those said older kids. “Hello.” She beamed. “I'm Tabby.” In case anyone was interested. She then sent smiles around to EVERYONE. *beam* Look how cute and little and friendly she was. ...But where were the other first year Snakes? Gosh. |
Text Cut: Tabby Layla had watched the sorting of the first years from her spot on the Ravenclaw table. She usually wouldn’t take that much notice of what was going on but she had promised Tabitha’s parents that she’d look out for at the school. Her mum was clearly being a little overprotective but she would honour her words. The little blonde was kinda cute anyway, she had the same hair and eyes as her own Nephew Felix. The Broadmoors and the Ackerly’s were close-knit families. Although Layla had no direct familial relationship with the Broadmoor’s her sister-in-law would often have both sets of families around for dinner parties and that meant that she knew them very well. As far as kids went they were okay. They were all ridiculously pretty though thanks to their genes. As soon as she found the opportune moment she headed over to the Slytherin table where she found Tabby sat amongst the other snakes introducing herself with that ‘wide-eyed excited expression’ that reminded her of Samson when he had first come to the school. High hopes and expectations. She tapped her on her shoulder. “Hey” she smiled being welcoming and all despite it not being her house. It was Sammy’s though, she’d make note to bug him after the feast was done with. “You got the same house as your parents then? Bet they’d be proud.” And Layla’s brother for that matter, Tabby’s Uncle. She was pretty content with what house she had been sorted in but at the time she hadn’t really cared. She didn’t feel like she belonged to any of them in particular, Ravenclaw at least felt like a sort of home. |

"I will set up her room in my dormitory once I unpack. So she can have two places to stay now." She smiled as she said it. She knew they would spoil her rotten, or at least as much as you can with a toad. "I brought her all sorts of food and treats, so it won't be a problem." She made sure to get things for her family owl that she had taken with her, but she brought just as much or more things for the toad. When Henric gave her an expression that was asking if she was serious, she smiled. The gears in her head were turning for sure. "Well, mother said no more animals. Rocks aren't technically animals, unless its not what it seems." She could disobey without technically disobeying, it sounded golden to her. What would she do with it? "Its not just for me, princess might like one." She could find her a comfortable pet rock to have when she came over to her dorm. The plan was brilliant in its own way. |

“Layla!” The eleven year old exclaimed brightly, getting up on the bench to give the older (and waaay taller) girl a big hug. “Mummy will be proud but I don't think daddy really cares about these things.” She confessed, beaming from ear to ear. “Sit down.” She sat again, squishing along and patting the bench beside her. Sit down, Layla. |
Third year. THIRD YEAR, yeaaaah. Hugo was not longer a little kid, a firstie, a baby, he was a third year. Okay, he wasn't that old but who cares? He walked proudly towards his house table and greeted everyone, "Hello!" and sat down next to Dante because he was cool and his friend. And now, food. |
There she was! Another one of his favourite Slytherins! “Don’t I get a hug too, Bev?’’ Adi asked jokingly. Come to think of it, he had never seen her show that much emotion. Maybe it was because it was her seventh year and she was getting all sentimental. Whatever the reason may be, he was going to going to get that smile this term. Riiiiight, Beverly? And there was Grayson’s girlfriend. “Looky, it’s the cutest couple!” But then wait… what was that? Meow? It had only been one meow but his hearing was reasonable. The Hufflepuff tilted his head trying to figure out where the sound came from. “Did you guys hear a kitten or something?” Oh, wait! Never mind! “I knew I heard one of those.’’ For Ruby had brought out a little fluff ball. “Name it something macho, Grayson,’’ Adi suggested. It was a guy kitten riiight? “Pretty impressive hair flip you got there, Dot.’’ He figured it hadn’t taken the little Snake to master the move. Little Snake, though? Riiiiight. The girl was already in THIRD year. Gosh, where did the time go? Oh! A method of contact? “Hmmm. You could always enchant a parchment airplane to zoom into my dorm through a window,’’ he suggested, very much liking the idea of that. Hehe. Guys. Some of them really never grew up. Speaking of third years… “Hey, Brooklyn!’’ “It sounds like you’ve got them all figured out, Zhenya.’’ Adi hadn’t noticed any Puff transfers as yet. Or maybe he had missed them since he left the Hufflepuff table. Ah, well. There would be plenty of time to catch up with them later. “Looking forward to your last year? Want it to go by fast?’’ Because Adi knew some students were eager to graduate. What, what, WHAT was Cutty doing? O__O Adi sat there not sure of what to do as Cutty narrowed the gap between them… and then Cutty’s head was on his shoulder. Then there was the whole finger thing against one side of his face. This was one of those rear times when Aditya Rehman was lost for words. LOL. So how did the Puffer handle this situation? The same way he handled loads of stuff… he got his sense of humour out. “It’s easy to do whenever I look into your eyes,’’ he said and straining not to laugh though he did pull back his face out of Cutty’s finger’s reach. Noooooo giving his friend the wrong idea here. “I try, Cutty, I try. But it’s difficult to find the right things to say to you sometimes.’’ A bit of a snigger escaped from him. “I hope you got loads of sweets for your best customer.’’ There was no way he was letting Cutty be occupied with… whatever it was he was doing here. |
With his attention back at the Staff Table, Ethan mulled over the possibility that Millard was already replaced. The thought made him gloomier because the Herbology professor was a good guy, and the Slytherin didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye. He was able to excel in one of his worst subjects in school under Professor Bentley, and learned more from Professor Millard. All thoughts about the Herbology professor was pushed aside as soon as a familiar voice boomed behind him. SPOILER!!: Grayson Oh hello there GrayGray. The semi-buffed teen slid sideways to give the older Slytherin more space, and clapped his back as soon as the cool kid took his seat. “My summer was grand. Finally got to show off...stuff.” Grayson would know, yeah? Ethan has been wolfing down a 3,998 calorie count meal to build up his physique, and he was sure Grayson had a glimpse of him taking off his shirt during the Field Trip. That was...rather epic, to be honest. “Last year, eh? We have to make it count!” Ethan gave Grayson a knowing wink, and mouthed the word ‘Dungeon’. Teehee! SPOILER!!: Caleb Then there was, “Caaaleb. Sit down, sit down.” Ethan gave the empty spot beside him a solid, single pat. “My summer was eventful,” the Slytherin nodded his head, “but it wasn’t long enough for me to recuperate from the OWL preps.” Speaking of OWLs, the fair-haired boy smacked his forehead as soon as he remembered something that concerned the prefect. “I forgot to tell you about my Astronomy OWL. Aced it by the way, and thank YOU for helping me revise.” Ethan will be forever thankful. “How was your summer?” SPOILER!!: Brooklyn Tiny Brooklyn. Ethan watched as the tiny redhead made his way towards their table and claimed her spot across him. The older Slytherin can’t help but think about her seat as her observation perch. Merlin. Her brain must be so interesting, no? Even those eyes that glanced irritatingly at Adi...and the Gryffindor beside her. Ethan smiled at the tiny monster, and got his last packet of candy from his pocket. The older Slytherin slid the packet across, towards the tiny Slytherin without a word. SPOILER!!: Beverly He turned just in time to see their female prefect, and Ethan gave her a nod back. “Miss Wayne.” The fair haired Mordaunt watched as she interacted with the rest of the Snakes, and was...kind of surprised when she made contact with Cutty. Oh? Interesting. SPOILER!!: Cutty Distracted, Ethan shifted to face his cousin. “And here I thought you won’t acknowledge me, Cuthbert.” Yes. Finally, he now knows his real name. How? Well. Let’s just say that he spent a good time at the Mordaunt’s private library, and that he caught his own father mentioning the name from the next room. It didn’t take long for him to connect the dots, really. And should they hang more often? “Of course, Cuttyboy. But first, GIMME A KISS!” Now that, is random. Ethan had roughly cupped Cutty’s face and made kissy faces at him. SPOILER!!: Ruby and Grayson He was, however, distracted too with the MEWs. Still cupping Cutty’s face, and the kissy face stuck on his visage, Ethan turned towards GrayGray and Ruby. “N’aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwww.” Exaggerated much? Yep. |
cutty, dot, and puck Rorie was about to retort to Cutty's 'with love' comment, when her ears caught the snide remark Dot made to Puck. She had promised to herself that she'd keep her mouth shut and was trying to do so by gritting her teeth. Yet, the thought of all the times Puck had stood up for her was nagging at the back of her brain. "Oi, why don't you back off, Dot?" She sighed, "She's just here to visit me, her friend." Ror kept her voice low, but stern enough to get the point across. If you only knew how much control this was taking and Cutty's spit take was making it even harder. Her body trembled with rising anger as she wiped off Cutty cooties off her face. "Nice." |
Finally, the beginning of my last year at Hogwarts. I haven't had much friends though, just a person to talk to every once in a while. maybe that'll change this year. It is my last year so....we'll see what'll happen. |
Grayson, Adi, Cutty, Hugo Dante was still basically silent and playing with the culinary in front of him. It passed the time until he saw Grayson. Was it really Grayson's last year. Weird to think about that sort of stuff. He gave a totally awesome sp nod back. Because it was awesome. He gave another one and a wave to Adi. Who he really should talk to this term before he leaves also. Shocking right. Actually talking to more than the couple of people he usually talked to.And Cutty did have some candy and whatever kind of chocolate it was. It did sound alright though. "Alright, what do i owe you for a snapping turtle" Now all he could hope was it's purpose was not to bite your tongue. Pet Rocks, Seriously. Sounded like an idea endorsed by Professor Airey. With his pet rocks Pebble...Pebbles or was it Boulder. It was a pun. Dante knew that. Well he guessed that low maintenance was a good thing. Though it was in the end a rock. He would rather talk to his toad than a rock. So no pet rock for him. "So you hang out with Marigold anymore over the summer?" Hmm....Hmm...Dante asked Hugo as he sat down. He had no idea where he was going with that. But yeah, whatever. |
Text Cut: Caleb Caleb Newell. Jeez, hadn't the OWLs engulfed him and sucked him up into a wormhole or whatever? Why in the freaking name of Merlin was he still around? Grayson tried not to roll his eyes and make a sarcastic comment, which was VERY hard to do, by the way. Where was his medal? His award? His celebration party? "'Sup, Caleb? Had a horrible summer? Did you miss me?" It's okay to admit it, Mr Prefect. No one is gonna judge you. Ugh. NEWTs. "Not in the slightest. It's gonna suck the fun outta life." What? It was true! "Looking forward to sixth year?" And really, what was up with that grin? Text Cut: Adi "'Sup, Adi!" he said, smirking slightly at the Hufflepuff. Dude was cool and all and always sat here. GOOD. Keep coming, Adster. And his advice had helped? "See? I'm not just a pretty face." Wink. Brains AND brawn. The world was such a lucky place, wasn't it? "But FREAKING YEAH, YOU PASSED THEM! Give it here!" he called, holding out his hand and clenching his fist. Fistbump? Yeah? Text Cut: Beverly If anyone else -- minus a select few, of course -- had given him a thump on his arm, Grayson would have seriously considered whacking them one. But, after a moment of looking confused, the boy realised who it was from and -- yeah, you guessed it -- smirked at the newcomer. "You checking to see if your bodyguard's ready to do some protecting?" He even flexes his muscles for the girl and kisses his bicep. Because, you know, they looked great and all. Even if you couldn't see it through the sleeves of his robes. And yes, he had been working on these bad boys. Text Cut: Kace How was his summer? "Dude, it was freaking awesome!" Well, kinda, but how could he miss an opportunity to brag? "Tons of pool parties and I got to stay at Ruby's for a bit," Which was fun for obvious reasons that he wasn't gonna mention out loud. "How was yours? Do anything fun?" Seventh years. SEVENTH years. "It kinda does sound freaky and all." Shrug. "But I like the thought of being top of the school. Man, does it feel GREAT!" Obviously, he was forgetting about the NEWTs LOL. Text Cut: Ruby and Cutty and Ruby again SMIIIIIRK. "Oh Cutty Mordaunt, you sure know how to make me happy." Wink. "We should fix that, you know. The not seeing my beautiful face thing. Maybe we'll end up seeing more of each other this year." You know, maaaaaaybe. And then Ruby Banner made her entrance. And Grayson Whitlock was just staring. Partly because she was hotter than lava and partly because the sight of her with a small bump under her jumper was............ well. It just hurt his heart, mkay? And it was kinda becoming harder and harder to breathe. Or he'd just forgotten how to. You know, whatever. So, naturally, he stared at her as she sat down next to him. He hardly even registered the fact that there was a mewing coming from her jumper because of that. FREAKING. Bump! JEEZ, man. How was he meant to concentrate on anything with THAT?! And then she spoke and brought him riiiiiight back to earth. She had something for him? "Did you get me something dirty or something inno--" Wait. WAIT. JUST HOLD THE FREAKING PHONE. Eyes wide, Grayson STARED at the kitten. Yeah, that's right, he was being given a KITTEN. Why? Merlin knew, man. He wasn't forgetting their anniversary, was he? "You........ you got me a kitten?" A cute one too but NO ONE is gonna EVER know about that. Reaching over, the seventh year took hold of the little girl kitten and held her in his arms. No smirking was happening, only a warm smile and some stroking of the kitten's fur. "'Sup, little dudette. I'm Grayson and you're mine, mkay?" MINE. .......... What was he meant to do with this thing again? "What's the special occasion, Rubes?" Text Cut: Brook Getting a smile from Brook meant one of three things: a) She had gotten nicer over the summer and actually acknowledged and appreciated his handsome appearance b) She was only pretending to be nice and c) This wasn't actually Brooklyn Andrews. All sounded pretty realistic and all. Still, the boy smiled back at her and have her a 'sup nod before saying, "'Sup, Brook! Had a good summer?" Text Cut: Adi Cutest couple? LOL, this was because of the Yearbook, wasn't it? The thought of it made him smirk because heck YEAH, they were the cutest couple. But also...... "More like hottest couple, my man." WINK. He couldn't resist, mkay? Name it something macho? Grayson held the kitten up and tilted his head. The kitten ended up tilting her head the same way as him, making his icy cold heart melt a little. Just a little. "I could but she's a girl kitten. Need to find a nice name for her and all." Text Cut: Ethan MAN, Ethan was looking so buffed up recently. Grayson couldn't help but admire it juuuuuust a little. Not that he was into the dude, but he kinda liked to think of it as his own handiwork. Kinda. They DID have an interesting talk in the boy's dorms about......... lulz. LULZ. What was discussed in the boys dorms STAYED there. No one else needed to know. And cue a wiggling of the eyebrows. "Bet you were walking around topless more times than Bellaire has told people off." Which was probably a lot but whatever. "Did you get to show your special lady friend the goods?" Oh, how he had missed this over the holidays. 'We have to make it count' Now THERE was a line that he DEFINITELY liked the sound of. So, smirking was happening. Uh huh. "Another boy's talk is definitely in order. It'll be interesting, to say the least." Text Cut: Dante Seeing Dante doing the sup nod only made Grayson smile and feel proud inside. Was this what it felt like to be mushy gushy? Kinda sickly sweet wasn't it? He hated that. "You're getting better at those, you know." Which was a huge compliment coming from Whitty. |
Was she really running that late? By the time the small teen got close enough to her house table she was seriously considering turning around and walking the other way. It was crowded and right now she wasn't sure she wanted to deal with so many people. Letting out a small breath Hady quickly scanned over those already seated. Finding an empty spot at the table she slid onto the seat without so much as a sound. She wasn't much in a talking mood but that didn't mean she'd be rude to anyone if they were to speak to her. Hady knew better then that no matter how she was feeling or whatever the reason she wasn't disrespectful. What she really needed right now though was coffee...iced coffee actually. Could she possibly get that here? Probably not. Sigh. With her eyes fixed on the table and one of her hands fiddling idly with the locket around her neck it was somewhat clear she wasn't currently paying full attention to anything around her. Or so that may have seemed anyways. |
Cutty, Tabby, Adi, Rorie Quote:
And the spit-take. How did she feel about that? HOW DID SHE FEEL? "You are impossible. Don't you sometimes look at yourself in the mirror and wonder how nature produced such an enigma? You're like a platypus with a giraffe neck." And it made her grumpy. Quote:
Quote:
"I know that spell. That's how I talk to my Ravenclaws. I can use it, but do you promise to come when I ask? Otherwise, what's the point?" She could just send airplanes to herself. Quote:
"She shouldn't threaten my housemate. Only Slytherins get to threaten Slytherins. It's like how siblings work. But I'm honestly sorry if I made you mad, Rorie, because you have the best hair in the house and I regret upsetting you." Circular Dot logic. |
SPOILER!!: Tabby Zhenya was clapping as the sorting hat was announcing the new houses. She clapped for ALL of the houses, because it was SO EXCITING! But she clapped especially loud when they announced a new SNAKE! So when she was still clapping and the first year came and sat at the table, Zhenya was impressed she didn't seem intimidated by the group. She certainly was in her first year. The girl introduced herself, and Zhenya said "Hi Tabby, welcome to Slytherin! I'm Zhenya." SPOILER!!: Adi Zhenya just shrugged with a sly smile. Maybe it was the slight shyness within the girl, but facing a group of people, older and younger, who had already established friendships and a way of life inside the castle, was brave. Yep. Last year. Zhenya wiggled her head from side to side "Oh yes and no, I suppose. I want it to be quick so I can leave and become an adult, and get a job, and travel, but I don't want it to go too quickly. If it goes too quickly I'll forget to study, and I won't be able to spend the year making last memories with friends." It was a balance… |
SPOILER!!: all of you ”That sounds like fun,” Puck laughed when she heard Dot’s reaction. Yes, a normal person would have been offended to hear that they were called masculine – but that’s the thing. Confidence and an appreciation of geek culture often made people think a girl was masculine. So what harm was there in that? “Dot, let me first say congratulations on your WHiM designs they were great,” she meant it. It wasn’t that she was trying to smooth the little snake’s scales no, that would just be a perk of a well, job well done? Still Dot’s questions were actually understandable. “That’s the thing, I think if it were a girl they would have tried to exaggerate my personality and mannerisms…” she nodded, “that and I’m certain it was Cutty because of how he ate the raspberries…” she informed kindly laughed when she heard Cutty’s response. “Oh…its my memories and I can tell there’s a big lump of coal where my heart should be” she informed and grinned over to Cutty as she too was joking with them. Still, Puck raised her brow at Rorie when she heard her telling Dot to back off. Oh? Dot thought the threat was real? “Oh Dot don’t worry if anyone actually threatened Cutty I’d come to his defense…I was just letting him know that I knew” she informed and grinned. “Besides, he’s a friend. I’d never actually hurt him.” She informed. He was a slytherin, and she was well…”besides, if you really know me you would know that I’m more Slytherin than Gryffindor” she admitted. It was the truth. She was a snake in lions clothing. |
Another year, another feast, not the same people, and that's what was always interesting, but the train ride here had been rather uneventful, as usual, and right now he was only hoping it would all stay uneventful, unlike last year. Why? Because he wasn't in the mood for lectures of any kind. For once, Oleander was tired, yet kept paying attention to his surroundings, just in case something extraordinary happened. Food is more than welcomed, by the way. |
*Walking into the great hall, Noah still had an evil smirk plastered across his face. He had gotten even with Daisy for busting his leg last year. Finding a seat he sat down waiting for the food. But then he remembered something, this was where he met his friend. His friend that was now dead thanks to that dark forest. He had forgotten his promise that he had made to himself at the end of last term. That he would go after the dark creatures in the forest my his home. What would it prove? Nothing, and he knew that, but it might make him feel better. Noah never handled loss very well, big or small. But he was distracted from his promise by his stupid family. His mother wanted to come back into his life now, after nine years. His mother was the last person he would ever want to get back into contact with but his sister and father had other plans. That spoiled his summer holidays for sure. But at least now he was back at Hogwarts away from his father and the chance of being forced to see his mother.* "She didn't want us before, so why couldn't she just stay away..." *He mumbled to himself as he watched his sister Emma at the Gryffindor table skip over to her friends smiling.* |
Mentions of everyone pretty much. HI NEW PEOPLE Ah, there was Rorie, the girl with the pink hair who had caused so much FUSS last term. Caleb tried not to stare at her, but it was hard...after all, would she really be that surprised if he kept an eye on her? Did she really blame him? Sure enough, after no more than a few minutes, some tension seemed to break out between her and Dot - and of course Cutty was in the middle of it. Because Cutty. But Caleb was relieved to see that the younger girl apologized and didn't seem to mean any harm by it. Trying not to glance at them too often, he looked back at his goblet of pumpkin juice and took a sip. Trying to stay cool and collected, while also keeping an eye on things - being a Prefect was a real ART form, you know. Anyways, back to Dot... "Sir? Geez, way to make me feel old," Caleb said with a chuckle, shaking his head. SIR was his father. Well, ok, Caleb was ALSO his father...but you know. Caleb was sixteen. Not a sir. "Anyways, have a good summer, Dot? Since you stayed out of trouble and all," he added with a polite smile. This summer had been AWESOME for him, so he assumed everyone ELSE had a great summer too. Once he'd made sure that Rorie and Dot weren't going to kill each other, he turned his attention to Puck, his co-prefect who had decided to join them. AHA! SO IT WAS CUTTY! "What loonie guy wants to impersonate a GIRL?" he joked with a jesting grin at the Gryffindor prefect before turning to Cutty and feigning a head shake of disappointment. "Why am I friends with you again?" he asked his dorm mate. Seriously. He questioned it on a daily basis. But back to serious stuff..."Nah, I wouldn't narc on ya," he assured his friend softly with a shrug. "I mean, unless you murdered someone and tried to pin it on Puck. No harm no foul, yeah?" he added with a sly grin. Caleb hadn't really done ANYTHING bad during his time at Hogwarts, if they found out he let a Polyjuice convict slip past him - and not do ANYTHING bad, really - how mad would they get? Seriously? Not mad, he was guessing. Oh, Adi was talking to him...about OWLs. Gross. But Caleb had expected these convos to pop up...and he had determined (after a few angry runs around his neighborhood to let off steam) that he was DAMN PROUD of his results. Runes was stupid. No one needed it. That helped him feel at ease about the whole thing..."Pretty good, passed 11 of them! More than my dad ever did," he said with a grin. "You?" he asked. He was sure Adi did just as well, if not better. Hmm. He was curious to hear what everyone else had gotten on Runes. Had a lot of people failed? That would DEFINITELY make him feel better. Speaking of OWLs...Caleb turned to Ethan and grinned. "No prob, mate! I know you had a rough one...good to hear you did well, though," he added with a genuine smile and a pat on the back. That was an accomplishment, it really was...being sick with dragon pox and then doing well on OWLs? Caleb wouldn't have been able to do it. He would have had to be committed to St. Mungos. "It was good, nice and relaxing...but yeah, not long enough to recover from those exams!" Now to Kace, who seemed like he was definitely trying to NOT talk about graduation. Caleb didn't blame him. The thought of being an adult was just awful. "Nah, I can't imagine you'd want to sneak back in here, just to sneak into the kitchens. Food in the real world can't be THAT bad, right?" he joked. "Yeah, I guess so - I just hope no one, you know..." he trailed off, his hand waving, hoping that Kace knew what he was implying (Death. He didn't want anyone to DIE) "...this term. That was a rough one," he said with a shrug. Seriously. His luck had been the WORST last term. Sure, not as bad as Greg's, but...it was HIS house, ya know? Yeah, so just...no death please. And finally...Grayson. Hehe. Caleb grinned. "Oh yes. Just HORRIBLE. Relaxing and letting off all that steam after OWLs. Bloody awful. So you looking forward to your la..." he trailed off, however, when Ruby finally made her way to the table - WAVES HELLO for you, Ruby - and...pulled a kitten out of her bag. What. First a Puck imposter on the train, now Ruby giving her boyfriend a kitten? He thought the Banner sister was supposed to be GOOD with boys - did she not know what a GIRLY gift a CAT was? He was surprised Grayson wasn't running for the hills. A girl giving a guy a LIVING thing was like...asking him to give her a ring and move into a flat above the Leaky with her. That was RESPONSIBILTY. He was going to ask WHY Ruby was giving her a boyfriend a kitten, but...nope. He didn't care that much. He wasn't sure he wanted to know, honestly. He wasn't sure he wanted to know ANYTHING that was going on in his house this term. Everyone seemed to have gone loony over the summer. Great impression they were making on the firsties, which, SPEAKING OF... "Hey everyone! Welcome to Slytherin!" he called to the youngsters as they approached the table. We aren't all weirdos, I promise. |
Llia Henric shrugged,"Yeah, we could if we want to but formally we need to ask permission from the professors first before we hold such an event ..we could ask the other students if they want their toads to compete in the race, unofficially we could just use Hogwarts grounds for practice runs,"he suggested. "Nicee...I'm sure Princess will be in cloud nine for sure, she loves getting new things and being fed to,she is truly living up to her name," he laughed. Henric was a little baffled by her,she really was serious about adopting a pet rock. It must have meant something to her if she was to disobey her mother. But technically, she wasn't because rocks were not animals. They were just rocks,non-living things, aren't they? Henric was curious, she was thinking that 'Princess" would need a new friend to play with. Maybe she was right, their toad might get a little lonely sometimes by herself but he wouldn't allow any male toad to come near her little princess.Being protective as he was, he thought Princess was still too young for any "personal relationship" going on. "Alright then, tell me what you find there, and if its anything male and living...just leave it alone,"he told her, with a slight authorative tone. |
Cilla's holidays were very eventful. Her and her family had moved from Liverpool to London to make her schooling a bit easier. Now it seemed all that activity had gotten to her. She didn't feel like involving herself too much as she was too tired. Cilla was also hoping that there was no shenanigans like the previous term. |
dot, cutty, puck, and caleb Quite taken aback by the apology being given to her by Dot, Ror kept quiet for a few moments. In what seemed to be some sort of shock. Coming back, she cleared her throat and straightened herself up. "Understood and like Puck says, it wasn't sincere. It was...a joke, I suppose." Look, Cutty, look! She was being mature. The redhead had a point though. Ror did have the best hair in the house. Haaaairrr fliiiiipp. Peace handshakes all around. Feeling much more like herself, instead of her gloomy, gross side, she finally looked up and around. Catching the eye of Caleb in doing so for a quick glimpse. "Wha's the matter, Prefect boy?" She toyed, drinking out of her goblet. "Afraid I'll do something horrible? Or have you just never seen a pretty girl before?" Rorie contained the smile fighting to be seen at the memory of that time Cutty tried to convince her to ask Caleb to be her fake boyfriend. Come on, Cutters, come on. |
Text Cut: Ruby & Grayson Hush? HUSH? Cutty's already large eyes grew as he feigned an expression that very clearly said Can you believe this impossible woman??? Hushing me when I haven't even said anything??? His hand gestured out and he looked from snake to snake as if trying to gain their support. This ended with him shaking his head and going back to Dante's water. It was at about that time when the tiny striped head and small nosed MEWer had made her appearance. "Congratulations, Whitty! It's a kitten." Cutty had not ever seen a cat with the markings such as the one Ruby produced from her jumper. It was a cream and tan stripe. Maybe it was partially kneazle. Alexa told him they were smart and a worthwhile pet if Cutty had ever thought of getting a pet. He had thought of getting himself a little animal companion, but calling it a pet wouldn't be entirely accurate and much magical experimentation would be performed upon it. Cutty felt this would ruin the purposes of having an animal as intelligent as a kneazle, but it would've worked for Ruby and Grayson. Maybe they could train it to do Ruby's NEWTs. They had a year. "Merlin Grayson! Yer gehrlfriend joost gave yer a kitten and here yer are shamelessly invitin' me oop ter yer summer loov cabin! Yer utterly ruthless!" He smiled as if it all were such a very good thing. He'd probably take up Grayson's offer too, although between Cutty & Ruby it probably would not have ended in the way Grayson (or any adjusted human being for that matter) thought it would. Text Cut: Zhenya "Comme Ci Comme Ça. The important thing was I took them." Cutty liked learning, but in terms of trying to impress anyone with his smarts, he'd rather keep what he knew to himself. Unless it was giving Agatha Hapgood private tutelage. He thought about the bloody nose she'd given him the last time they tried that. Good times. Good times. "Got any tips to survive 6th year?" Text Cut: Adi Oh My Adi! See, Adi Rehman was perfect. He didn't trip out or lose his mind or outright reject. He just drew his line letting Cutty know how far was too far. "Yet somehow yer never fail." The Slyth laughed and resumed his seat. "Oh, loads of new things! Me dad brought me these snapping turtles made owtoff chocolate from Québec. They really snap onto yer tongue and they're meant to stay there so yer don't choke or lose em when you're on yer broom 'n stuff. I'll let yer try one fer free if yer gimme yer opinion on 'em." Adi's endorsement was helpful too should he like them. He had all those wee little puffs behind him Adi did. He'd make a good head boy. "I'm trying owtta new thing too. I want to extend credit to soom of the older students. A sortoff buy now pay later. What do yew think, Rehman?" Text Cut: Dante Ah, his housemates knew him so well. "Yer opinion. Tell me how they are. If you experience any malfunctions, if the quality of chocolate used was good. I haven't priced these guys yet and I want to make certain I sell 'em fer what they're worth." Text Cut: Puck, Rorie & Dot Dot. Dot was full of compliments. And her frustration was music to his ears. Did she know? He wiggled his bum in his seat when she commented about setting his pants on fire. Dot Wojack-Gusey, does your mother know you talk to boys like that? He did not say it, though. She was a redhead. A redhead who was madly in love with him. Cutty didn't even blame her. It was an interesting reaction from Rorie to Dot and Dot to Puck for that matter. Slytherins may or may not be loyal. In Cutty's experience it all depended, really. So if it wasn't loyalty, what was it? Some kinda previous beef? Or perhaps a little friend-to-friend obligation? He'd seen Rorie do worse tough and so perhaps there was some level of hesitation. His disgusting ego, being what it was, figured that Rorie was only holding back to impress him. To show him how not troublesome she could be so that he'd agree to be her pseudoboyfie and Damien would come crawling back. He was touched. "I'm very distinct in my raspberry eating. I like to savor the flavour." He confirmed before turning his head and kissing Puck's cheek. Platonically of course. At her explaining of how Cutty and Puck operated to the young Charlotte. Text Cut: Cousin Ethan Caleb had probably told Ethan his name. There was really only one person who ever used it and it was Fern. Ethan was nothing like Fern. So it was strange to hear the lesser used name coming from that voice. The next thing he knew his cousin had grabbed his face and was making kissy faces at him. He made kissy faces back, because that was what you do. "Well, we do coom from a long-line of pureblood wizards." Eww. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Ew. :( Text Cut: Hugo What happened to Hugo's little kid voice? Oh, right. He grew up and it went away. Damn. It was one of Cutty's favourite pastimes to walk in on tiny whispering in the green-lit common room. Ah, well. They all had to grow up sometime. "Hi, Hugo." He greeted the now...What was he? Twelve? Thirteen? Cutty soon found himself throwing away the number of years Hugo had been on the planet and made what I might call a rash decision to just treat him and the others as if they were already adults of 26 years. "Did yer know the MOL dropped down by 6 this morning before we left London? I wonder where it'll be at by next week." Adult conversations. Aww yisss. Text Cut: Hughbert's Entrance, tho. XD The book hit with the usual thick and heavy sound books make when they hit solid wood surfaces and Cutty looked up to see Hughbert. "Hughbert." He said greeting the rare but carefully placed snake. He always seemed to be there at a perfect time. Like when the usual common room gatherings needed a bit of a laugh. There'd be Hughbert. And his book. "Whatchyer readin'?" Text Cut: Penelope Cutty caught the look given to him by the lil approaching Ravenclaw girl. She was apparently selling something. Pet rocks! It had been a while since Cutty had visited Flamsteed in his office and he saw the pet rock. Pebbles. Taking a poster he looked it over and saw their price tag. Free. Pebbles must've had babies. It was a crazy non-sensical thought which was then said out loud. "Pebbles must've had babies." He turned the poster in his hand this way and that. "I'll take a thousand." How many rocks would there have been? "Do you offer sitting services? Or are you just the vendor?" Text Cut: Brook And there was little Brook. She was observant that one. So observant that it made Cutty wonder if she knew when he wore undapants and when he didn't. That thought, though did not make him feel vulnerable. No, it inspired him. Brooklyn. Eagle-eye Andrews. She would make a great house informant. If only she could be convinced to open up. Secrecy was her game but surely she wanted something. All snakes had ambition...but what if hers was to take any and all secrets to the grave. "Have a good summer, Andrews?" He greeted her, deciding it was time to get to know her better. |
Ruby/the kitten, Tabby, Adi, Hady, Grayson, Cutty and Ethan See, it was a kitten. Even Brooklyn could have told anyone that, not that she’d been inclined to say anything. She’d smuggled Tywin into feasts before, after all, so Ruby shouldn’t get in trouble. Hopefully not. More lectures were hardly what the third year wanted to deal with this early in term. A repeat of last opening feast was not going to be appreciated, but then, she also hardly cared what Grayson chose to name said kitten. Not that she’d been asked. She likely wouldn’t be, and that didn’t bother her. She could keep her awesome name choices for pets to herself. And she wasn’t going to be adopting any pet rocks either. It wasn’t necessary. Her blue eyes had shifted from eyeing the Gryffindor next to her, still involved in the conversation with Rorie and Cutty about something or other to the arrival of the tiny blonde (Tabby). She’d remember that, and she gave the girl a nod. She might prove useful, but that remained to be seen. Just as whatever in the world was going on with half the people around her would get figured out eventually. Whenever she felt like spending the time. Also known as whenever she wasn’t ignoring Adi, although those blue eyes had flickered over the Hufflepuff as she’d returned her attention to the group as a whole. That and the staff table, with the odd appearance of the tour guide guy from their trip to Loch Ness proving to be awfully intriguing. She didn’t feel like fighting more grindylows after all. At least he wasn’t trying to make any speeches. Oh, and Hady had arrived. Her fellow third year got a slight smile from her, but otherwise not a sound. It didn’t look like Hady wanted to talk anyway and there was always the dorms later. Hmm, and both Cutty and Grayson had spoken to her. She tilted her head slightly at the shortening of her name done by Grayson, speculatively. Cutty’s use of her last name hardly bothered her after all, but the other was nearly the despised nickname. It wasn’t though, so she decided it was okay. “Aside from the field trip?,” she asked, in response to both older snakes’ question. Obviously they knew how that had went. “My sister got engaged.” Which she found about as exciting as watching paint dry. It was something, though. They could interpret it how they pleased. Oh, and Ethan was giving her candy. It made up for the mistake during the field trip a little, and he got another smile as she accepted the packet. “Thank you.” |
Text Cut: Tabs Tabby was so tiny compared to the five-foot-ten teenager and she felt even more so like she was towering over everybody. She did hug her back and she allowed herself to smile despite not being in the best of moods. Kid was cute, she couldn’t help it. “You’d suit green. Bradley—I mean Uncle Bradley to you was a Slytherin too for the five minutes he managed to stay here for.” Still she was proud of him for what he had achieved, including the six nieces and nephews. “I’m sure you dad is proud whatever.” He seemed like that sort of man whose kids meant everything to him. There we other children talking to Tabby and Layla stood back a minute as her housemates interacted with her. She felt a little awkward approaching the table full of Slytherin’s, like she was invading on their space. She didn’t have any friends in this house at least she didn’t think so after Vin had graduated last year. She glanced down the table, taking in the sights of her fellow seventh-years and the others before turning back to the little blonde. Over excitable little blonde. “I ain't sure 'bout that” she replied with a teensy tiny smile. “I’m in my robes, I’d look way out of place.” Not that anyone would notice because this table was more over-the-top than her own. |
Tabby didn't particularly mind if she was ignored completely. She'd chosen to sit with the older kids.. which might have been a dumb move, but they looked SO interesting that she just couldn't resist. She was watching the boys and the girl and the little tiny cat—N'AWWW.. LOOK. AT. IT! It made the little blonde wish she'd brought Waffle to the feast. She might've been able to use him to get some attention focused on her. Cute girl + cute kitten = double the cute, seeee? But she would be quite content just sitting here listening to the conversations going on around her. Perhaps she would learn a few names in the process. Quote:

She wasn't going to sit? Oh. Tabitha pouted just a little bit. “Blue blends well with green. And look!” She pointed. “There's students in yellow sitting here.” Please join us, pretty, tall, sophisticated Layla. |
SPOILER!!: Noah Daisy might have lost Noah on the train after he threw a cauldron cake at her, but she had found him again as they entered the school and now she was following him into the Great Hall, bits of cauldron cake that he had thrown at her were falling off her sweater as she walked. (Seriously? What did they make those things out of?) She passed a bowl of pudding and wished she could pick it up and dump it over Noah’s head, but that would make her no better than he. “What,” she settled for yelling instead of a food fight. “Is your deal?” she asked from behind Noah loudly after he had sat down. Seriously! After she’d been all nice to his crabby butt in the ice cream parlor and everything. A large piece of cauldron cake took that moment to fall off her sweater and onto the floor with a splop. Apparently the cake only came off with it wanted to, and poor Daisy had spent a good portion of the train ride trying to get the cake off her sweater, just like last year she spent the train ride trying to unstick her hair from the cake and the train wall. Her sweater had faired as well as her hair which still hadn’t fully grown back. |
*Most people would jump or turn around when they heard yelling but Noah was too lost in his thoughts to give Daisy a reaction. Slowly turning around he looked at her with a stone cold face.* "My deal? You busted my leg last term, it's called getting even." *Seeing that there was still cake on Daisy jumper he was tempted to pull his wand out to clean it, but didn't. Cleaning was for elves.* "You seem to have this impression that deep down I'm a nice person or something so I'm going to save you some time. I'm not nice, I don't care, so go on with your happy life flower child." *Normally he wouldn't be so mean but after the summer he had he was in no mood for social protocol, like being nice and respectful.* "Why do you keep hanging around me anyway?" *Did she have a crush on him or something? Did she like the cold hearted bad boys? Because that was what she would get with him.* |
SPOILER!!: Noah Daisy’s hands clenched into fists and if she had been a cartoon her head would have turned into a giant teapot. As it was, anyone looking at her would have been surprised steam wasn’t coming out of her ears considering how red her face had gotten. “We,” she said through clenched teeth. She was trying very hard to keep from jumping on Noah and beating him to a pulp. “Have very different memories about your broken leg last year. You must have hit your head harder than I thought when you fell out of that tree. You brain-damaged nit-wit! You – fell - out- of the –tree! I didn’t push you, and Circe knows I could have just left you by the lake!” Despite his prickly inside, Daisy knew that Noah was nice. She had seen it while he had been lying in the hospital ward post-dino underwear freak out. It was the only redeeming quality about the boy who always felt the need to be a rude and nasty jerk-faced-weasel. Maybe he needed to be in pain in order to be a decent human being. Daisy was certainly happy to beat him up routinely if that’s what it took for him to be civil. “You are so clueless, you nimrod!” Now he was hurting her feelings. Didn’t he get it? She didn’t have many friends and somehow, despite all their bickering, she had thought they’d become friends, but maybe they hadn’t. “And stop calling me a flower child. I’m not a hippie!” |

Disgusting. She didn't want to sit with any of them and she also didn't want to speak to any of the The ballerina had high standards. So she went to take a seat near one of the very few normal people she knew. Oleander was alright and wasn't engaged in conversation with any stupid people. That was probably because he wasn't talking to anyone. Smart guy. Agatha took a seat next to him and flipped her hair solemnly. |
Adi could see the pride on Caleb's face. Who could blame him? Eleven OWLs was something to be VERY proud of. "That great! Erm, if you don't mind me asking but which one did you fail?'' Caleb had written all twelve OWLs, right? "I didn't do so bad. Got all twelve though I had expected to see one T on my result list.'' It had been a relief to pass them all. "It's good to know my efforts are being appreciated,'' Adi replied with a smirk. Cutty Mordaunt was quite the fella, a reason why he was one of the coolest persons Adi knew. But back to sweet talks! Chocolate from Quebec! Nom Nom! Adi could go for those even if the snapping on the tongue sounded painful. LOL. "It's so touching that my opinion matters to you, Cutty.'' He feigned a sniffle and wiping away a tear from his eye. Anywayyy... "That sounds like a fair deal. I think it's a great idea just don't go giving too much credit, okay? You might end up having a difficult time getting your money.'' Adi knew all about the credit stuff. His dad did work in a bank after all. The sixth year laughed. "No you're not. Your face has some worthy advice.'' Though he suspected Ruby would not care about the advice coming from Grayson's face. Ohh! A fist bump! These were as good as squishugs and hair ruffles. He folded his fingers of his left hand inwards to enthusiastically return the bump. "Planning anything cool for your final year?" Something awesome to go out with a bang, perhaps? "You're welcome, Dot.'' Adi flopped back down on the bench. was food going to be here soon? The Head Minion was hungrrry. "Really?'' There was an interested look from Adi... and plus he was totally thrilled that she would go along with his idea. "Of course I promise! Who would disobey a direct order from the Queen?" As long as it did not involve him having to go into the Snake common room... not only because other students were not allowed there but he also did not think the Bloody Baron would take very kindly to that if the ghost was around at any of those particular moments. "Cilla!'' Adi called out to his friend the second he saw her. "How are you?" Why was she looking so out of it? She was okay, riiiight? Concerned friend here. Also, there went Brooklyn ignoring him again though he did notice her look in his direction. But Agatha had arrived! "Hi, Ballerina wife!'' he mouthed as she sat down next to another guy. |
*Mentions of people* Kace nodded towards Cutty and he realized that he had been talking to Echo. He wondered if he knew her. I mean he must have because Echo was in the same house as him. He grinned when he said he knew Braedon. He snorted when he mentioned he was a wise man. "A wiseee man?" he asked again to clarify raising a skeptical eyebrow. That was something new. He never heard that before. "I don't think he is very wise might I add." he shrugged. "Also be on the look out for a new student coming here next year. He is my cousin coming possibly to the Slytherins." Now his attention on Grayson. He laughed at his choice of words and that is how he would describe his summer too. "Well that sounds like a lot of fun. Where was my invite to the pool party?" he only joked of course. I mean he wouldn't miss out on a pool party and maybe he could have brought Emmy. "Yeahh not really. Just went to the Quidditch camp over the summer and that is about it. No traveling for me." Yeah traveling might happen this term. We shall see. "Who are you kidding?" he commented when he said it was freaky being a seventh year. "I mean I just remember meeting you and now we are graduating together brother." he motioned between them. "I thought you were a sixth year bro?" he asked just stating his thought. "It does feel nice man being on top of the school not gonna lie.." he laughed. He heard Caleb's comment and he turned his head and grinned. "Yeah I mean muggle food isn't bad if the person prepares it correctly you know? I mean my grandma can make a mean meatloaf and turkey. They are great on sandwiches." he winked. Hopefully he knew what he was talking about. Aaahh last term yes. He remember quite vividly. "Yeah I know what you mean. That was a rough term and you lost someone from your house so it must be rough.." he frowned. I mean Gregorie was a great slytherin. He missed the little dude. "So you excited for the new term. I hear we have a new professor.." he said mentioning the new detail to the Slytherin prefect. |
Declone here and off to the Entrance. xD Quote:
"Then we named her properly." She replied with a grin. Ilia didn't feel like she was much the princess type, but their toad could be if she wanted to. She could be whatever kind of toad she wanted to and Ilia would love her all the same. She couldn't help but giggle a little at what he said. She wondered if that was for princesses sake, hers , or both? It felt nice to have someone protective around that she trusted, she used to only have her cousin Freyr. Rising from the table she gave him a hug and a swift kiss on the cheek. "Cross my heart and hope to die. I promise I won't bring any boys of any living species back." She gave him a wink and a polite bow before walking towards the entrance. She didn't tend to ever be that warm and friendly to others, especially boys, but Henric was her toad baby daddy. He was completely different from all of the other boys. |
Quote:
Cutty did not see the sign obviously. Hugh flipped a page and tilted his head at a particularly graphic diagram, "Freud. He was a pioneer for the study of psychoanalysis and had a theory that..." The Slytherin trailed off and very earnestly (because he did not understand the concept of being malicious) added, "Nevermind, yo. Not something you would understand." Hardly Cutty's fault he was simple. |
Dante, Cutty and Tabitha There were too many people at the Slytherin table and not exactly people from his house, he didn't mind but he was hungry and crowds bothered him. Hugo shook his head, "Nah. I couldn't even talk to her during the summer field trip" it was hard, really. "But I gotta talk to her this term because I think she is graduating" she needed to know who was the boy with the Wolverine mask at the masquerade party. "You are going to help me, don't know how yet, but I'll let you know" maybe Dante could help him to distract anyone who could be around Marigold. Something like that. Oh well. He greeted Cutty, "What's up?" and the next thing he asked him was a little bit weird. Hugo was puzzled, "Err yeah...very...interesting" he had no clue of what was Cutty talking about. So, first of all, "What is MOL?" Please, enlighten him with your knowledge. Hugo needed it. Then, he spotted a new Slytherin. "Hey" and waved at the girl (Tabitha). He hated to be a firstie because everyone else already knew each other and he didn't. |
Puck, Rorie, Caleb, Cutty, Tabby, Adi Quote:
She sulked a little, although mention of her second place win (to Puck... ugh again?) did brighten her back up a bit. "You're not making much sense. You must take confusion classes from Cutty. But thank you, and also... you too. Your designs were really pretty." As for her threatening Cutty, and it somehow being okay because they were friends... that wasn't anything like friendship in Dot's world. "You could dress in snakeskin head to toe, but you're a Gryffindor all the way to your cream-filled center. 'sides, you probably shouldn't threaten your friends." Because knowing Cutty and Rainbow Rorie, too many threats and they'd stop playing so nicely. Quote:
"Sir is a sign of respect, not of age. I don't sir even every grandpa, but I sir you. So." So deal with it. "I had a good summer. I took dance classes with my Kyroh friend and my baby brother is learning to walk and I went swimming so much my hair turned GREEN for a bit and I got 18 new freckles. What did you do?" It probably wasn't as good at hers, but hopefully it was interesting. Quote:
"Can you show me how to get my hair to be that color?" Quote:
She sighed loudly. Dramatically. With greatest theatricality, and a hair toss for good measure. "You're stupid and infuriating and you don't even care. There's something broken between your mouth and your eyes, Cutty, and it makes my brain hurt. And I'm not speaking to you again until I have my revenge for what you did to Kyroh." Pause pause pause. "But then we can be friendly-like again." BUT ONLY AFTER REVENGE. Quote:
"Oh, the squid? Yeah, he visits. And mermaids too, although they're not beautiful like you'd expect. There's a shark too, I think, only he disguises himself as a water plant. And then there are real water plants." It was basically a great place to sit and watch stuff, since they didn't have proper windows. Quote:
"Are you glad to be back at school? Or did you have such a very good summer that you miss it?" |

Did his friend, llia, just did what he thought she did? He was fine with the hugging but he didnt expect the kiss on the cheek too.llia had already left the great hall in search for the pet rocks while Henric just stood there, blinking, dazed at what just happened. It was the first time he had been kissed on the cheek by the opposite gender other than his mother,of course. He didn't have any female cousins, sisters or friends too who did such a thing.llia was the first girl who brazenly, he might add, had act upon it.It felt odd yet strangely pleasant at the same time... Oh merlin! What was he thinking?! No no...it was a fleeting friendly kind of moment, Henric thought nothing more of it after that.llia was just happy and that was why she did it.Right...that was all. Although Henric might seem to be indifferent towards the gesture, there was always the nudging thought that something ominous was about to fall upon him if ever someone from his house saw that happened. |

"And how did I come to fall out of the tree hmmm? By someone, spoiler it was you, yelling at me making me lose my footing in the tree." *So yes, she was seeing the event of his broken leg differently than him. She was choosing to not remember everything that she had done.* "A hippie? When was a calling you that? Your name is daisy, like the flower, making you flower child. There was no need to bring peace loving muggles into the mix." *He couldn't help but smirk at her reaction. It meant that he was getting on her nerves.* |
SPOILER!!: Noah Daisy choose to ignore his comments about the tree. She was past that and was now focused on her name. “Did you fail muggle studies last year or something? You’re calling me a hippie every time you call me that. It’s rude and it’s mean and it hurts my feelings. I have a name. Use it. ” Why did she even bother with him? He was rude and mean and a giant turd. His smirk was just making things worse. She wanted to grab him around the neck and throttle him until he turned blue. “You know why you were up in that tee?” she threw at him instead hoping her words would hurt him, but she doubted they would. Noah seemed to lack the basic thing that defined him as human; feelings and empathy. Gone were her memories of him being nice while he was in pain last year by the lake and all she remembered were the barbs and the cauldron cakes, the snarkiness and the name calling from the past year and a half. “You were hiding. Just like you were hiding in the ice cream parlor.” She still didn’t know the whole reason he was upset and that was his own fault. She didn’t know him well at all, and it wasn’t for lack of trying or caring. “If you want to be alone, then fine. Be alone! If you keep being rude and mean and downright nasty to people, you’ll be alone for the rest of your life. Just keep running and eventually nobody will care about you.” Someone at her own table was calling her. She looked over and waved, leaving Noah without saying goodbye. |
Most of the students at this table seemed pretty focused on talking with everyone else - which was alright. It gave her time to watch and see a bit of what they were like before she officially met any of them. So she noticed the girl that was saying something about pet rocks - and there was a kitten at this table? - and some boy was reading - and lots more. Fascinating table, this was. Quote:

"Hey," she said, hopefully clearly enough for the girl to hear even with all this chatter and noise at the table. "You okay there?" |

"Oh but I am calling you by your name. Your parents named their child after a flower hence the nick name flower child. Trust me there are far worse things to be called." *Her next comment caught him off guard. Who was she to talk to him like that? This girl knew nothing about him. No matter how right she may be in her comments that didn't mean that she got to say it to him. Jumping up Noah glared down at Daisy, his smirk long gone. With a growling whisper he said to her in her ear,* "Don't you dare act like you know me or my life. If you do it again you will be sorry..." *Pulling back he started to head out of the great hall. His happy mood at being back to the castle was now ruined, thanks to a certain flower child.* |
SPOILER!!: Brooklyn Hady had lifted her gaze for a brief moment from the table to check around her as the table grew louder. Mm look see that, right there? No words at all needed for a simple 'hello'. Spotting the small smile coming from Brooklyn, Hady gave her a slight grin with just the barest hint of a nod of her head in return. There was nothing more needed then that when it came to her fellow third year as they understood each other and would have more then enough time to talk later on. SPOILER!!: Jenna Before she was able to go back to her thoughts of just a moment earlier she caught the voice of a girl near her. Shifting her attention that way she was able to see the blonde about her own age...she wasn't sure who she was honestly. Most be another transfer student. She probably should've been paying a bit more attention during the sorting, a little to late for that now though. "Hey, erm yeah I'm alright just thinking I guess." Thinking to much most likely but yeah. "Welcome to Slytherin..I'm Hady." Shifting slightly to sit up a bit straight she took a second to scan over the other tables quickly possibly checking for someone. However not spotting what she may have been searching for her eyes once more returned to her table and the new girl that had spoken to her. |
Great. THINGS were happening. People were fighting, again. Caleb's eyes went towards...that one child who had been talking to a Gryffindor, before storming out of the hall angrily. Ok, one crisis averted. Then there was...another kid, getting a kiss on the cheek from some girl. Not too bad, BUT the possibility for badness was there...so he would keep an eye on them. As prefects did. Quote:
He didn't tell Adi this, but if he'd gotten a T, he would not have even come back to school. Nope. No way. Quote:
"Did a lot of swimming and lounging around. Figured I deserved it after my OWLs," he explained. Duh. EVERYONE in his year deserved a break! Quote:
"Just doin my job...can't blame me, right?" he told her with a smile. Trying to diffuse the situation with a bit of humor...but also acknowledging that he'd be STUPID to not watch her for obvious reasons. |
Text Cut: Caleb "Cause yer Slytherin and I know all yer secrets." Cutty joked when Caleb asked why they were friends. For real, though. Caleb and Cutty had been at that table the longest of any Slytherins currently at that school and slept in the same dorm for the past 6 years. If they knew nothing of each other it would mean effort was put towards that. "Oh, by the way yer talk in yer sleep." He added, in case people started thinking Caleb was the sort of boy who would confess to anything. The thought of Caleb confessing anything, even if DEAD WRONG, amused Cutty. Text Cut: Rorie It was like Rorie was a lady or something. There she was, talking to Dot like a mature witch and misaddressing Caleb with a legitimate question. She could do this fake girlfriend stuff rather well. He imagined Rorie Hazelwood in a dress, a seagreen fishtailed taffeta number and long dark gloves. Her hair pinned up and matching the gown. His imagination then went on to paint her at a polished round table in the company of Bertie Crouch, Merlin, the owner of Sleakeazy Inc and James Bond each of which seemed totally captivated by the inaudible words that were coming from her glossy red lips. Text Cut: Brooklyn "Oh!" Cutty's mind raced with a number of concerns that your average thirteen-fourteen year old would not give two damns about. Like were they a good family? Do you hate him? You hate him don't you? And, what happened did he knock her up? But he went for the more civil route and asked, "Are you going to be getting new brothers and sisters? Or is he an lonely only?" She? Text Cut: Adi "Tell me about it." Adi had a point and Cutty found it easy to agree with. It was actually something he'd considered before. For a long time. Hence his lack of snobbery when talking with the underclassmen. He had opportunities for them. If they were ambitious enough, that is. "I'm thinking of asking for collateral for some. Booht, not fer yer. I'll joost find yer and beat yer if yew owe me money. Joost joshin'! Yer credit's always good here." Text Cut: Kace Kace could disagree all her wanted. Cutty would not take it personally, he KNEW in his mind that the sort of information contained within the walls of Braedon Gallagher's grey matter of was utter importance. Utter importance! "Great Circe, Lecium! How many cousins do yer have?" He asked sounding as if he thought there was or should be a finite number. Text Cut: Hugh Hughbert was great. For a number of reasons not least of all the aforementioned tendency to bring laughter into the the lives of others. But then this. Cutty didn't know what to call it. Perhaps it was unsolicited identity assignment. It saved a brother from having to lie or pretend too hard. Cutty, and perhaps anyone else could simply walk right up to Hughbert and assume an identity. POP! You're a simpleton! The smile on Cutty's face for having realized this amusing little party trick of Hugh's looked silly and misplaced for the conversation thus far probably adding to the idea that he would not understand. "Maybe yer right.", he added nonetheless for good measure. Text Cut: Hugo "It's an abbreviation for stock in a wizarding business. It's short for Moldivate and Glints Limited." Cutty informed the boy with a smile. It was such a joy to be passing on information to the younger yeared folk. "They make potions." He added. Text Cut: Spotty Dotty The things Dot was saying all struck chords within the older demon child. Her ire was all for Kyroh. Cutty wondered if she wanted him to be her boyfriend. Or was she just that protective of those she considered her mates. Well if he was anything to go off of the latter was more than likely true. They were friends, sure but there was no nail-painting or exchange of secret information over what they thought of boys at the school. That was Ruby Banner. Her loyalty was interesting, though. Was she really angry? "If yer still angry after dinner we can talk in the common room, Dot." Like snakes. Privacy and all, but also the thing with he and Kyroh was too long to explain over dinner. Text Cut: Jenna "Nice to meet yer, Jenna." Cutty smiled. That was when he heard the Headmistress make her speech. Ooh, so she'd be stepping into the Herbology role, would she?
