The prefects have their own compartment at the front of the train. Sometimes they hold meetings up here and sometimes special guests ride along with them.

This was it.
Gabe's final train ride.
....in the Prefect compartment, as well.
He'd never fully embraced the badge, and knew as much. To be quite honest, it had been a constant source of stress and anxiety since being owl'd to him over two terms ago...but Gabriel had done his best. It helped that he'd worked with two highly competent people. Coral Bay...and Sophie Brown, the latter of the two being the most comfortable he'd ever seen someone in a role.
That's why he full-named her. She was entirely confident and capable. It was intimidating.
Entering the Prefect compartment, the former? Ravenclaw took a seat...and began staring out of the window.
Could he even use that 'former' tag, yet? Was it appropriate?

Puck wasn’t really the quietest as she pushed the door open to the Prefect’s compartment. After all it was kind of hard to keep quiet while holding a box of food. “Sorry for being loud,” she muttered at whomever was in there already and placed what looked like a trunk full of snacks and treats into the center of the compartment.
Finally with her arms empty the gryffindor looked up at Gabe, and sent him a cool tight smile. “Congratulations on graduating Banner,” She practically muttered before plopping herself down on the seat across from him. What? Windows were awesome. And please even she knew it would be like tickling a dragon if she sat next to him. “Help yourself if you want anything,” she muttered indicating to the food and drinks she had brought in with her.
“I got help from the house elfs,” she informed after all it had seemed like he had been apprehensive of eating the foods she had brought to the prefect meeting last term. And well, it was kind of like she was speaker of the elves after all they kind of seemed to like her and little Toddles had liked that she had hugged her…heck, maybe now they would run around hugging people? That would be cute and dangerous if they hugged the wrong people.
Now sitting back in her seat she just resolved herself for a quiet uneventful ride well, until someone else came into the compartment that is. After all it wasn't like Banner was talkative of people.

Naturally, Gabriel's luck was proving nonexistent...as PUCK was the first one to join him in the Prefect compartment. Sigh. Another thing he wouldn't miss about this place. No. More. Puck. No one was this perky all the time. It wasn't natural. Therefore, that made her suspicious.
...
"No, thank you." Gabe's answer was quiet, yet deliberate. He didn't have much interest in talking right now. Nor did his stomach feel up to the task of holding food. In fact, he still felt full from that closing "feast".
He turned back towards his own window seat and gazed at the window again.

Caleb just wanted to get HOME so he could start gathering up his old notes because he had some VERY important business ahead of him - NEWTs. He had to start studying NOW so he could get ahead of the game this time around - he was pretty sure he had waited until August last time and look what good that did him. A P on one of his OWLs. NOPE. Not making that mistake again.
This was going to be an AWFUL train ride, wasn't it?
Sitting down next to Gabe, he smiled at the older boy and nudged him. "Hey old man, happy graduation," he told him with a grin. Caleb was going to be all anxious this whole train ride but that didn't mean he couldn't tease the always-uncomfortable Ravenclaw, yeah?

Har har. "Thank you, Caleb." Gabriel was quiet still, but not as short with the Slytherin...as he'd been with Puck. Mainly because there were notable differences.
He'd sat and done homework with Caleb, and suffered through Prefect rounds, meetings, study sessions, etc. Gabe felt the Slytherin was a companion even if he wasn't really. In reality, they hadn't talked that much, one on one.
A shame, really.

Puck almost wanted to say something sassy…like aw he likes you when Gabe actually thanked Caleb, but honestly it didn’t bother her. She was still happy the term was ending, “Hey Caleb – you have any fun plans this summer?” She asked and grinned over to him. “I do have to ask – with that aparecium bogus thing that came up about Cutty collecting hair for you….did anyone try to see if your hair was really yours?”
“I only ask because I would have been that annoying first year kid that’d have tried to pull hairs out to see if they belonged,” she asked laughing over to him because really imagining little first years believing Aparecium and pulling his hairs out would be hilarious.
Absolutely hilarious. "And if you want anything," she indicated to the box of food and shrugged, "go for it." she leaned back in her seat and tucked her legs crossing them like a pretzel.

Beverly Wayne was in a FANTASTIC mood. Despite Silver's news. Those were some ginormous, life changing things to suddenly drop on someone, but it did not dampen Beverly's mood. In a few hours she'd be officially Hogwarts free.
Such a great feeling.
Entering the Prefects compartment, the brunette shot Greyvson and Banner a curt nod as she sat across from Caleb, swinging her legs a bit.
"Good luck on next term," she told her former prefect partner. Caleb was going to need it. Especially if the Slytherins were going to keep pulling Gryffindor acts.
.......Where was Adi?
