Kace saw Lux pick up his cup and he nodded and picked hers up. He heard her doing his reading and he gave her a quizzical look. Hmmm interesting. "Wait so you see a sun and skull in mine?" He was quite curious. Now time to read her tea cup. He flipped it over and he saw some shapes. He saw a bird like a swan because it had a thin neck and such. "Okayyy so I see a swan in yours. I think I see something else but I am not sure.." he said not being confident in himself. He missed this part in the lesson.

He hoped he was doing this right.

Oh goooooosh. Kace was so cute. The boy thought that she was giving him his reading when really she was comparing herself to the man in the story from class. "No. I just find your cup hard to read," she said with a smile. It was cute when he was confused.

So he had seen a swan and something else in her cup? Interesting! "What does a swan mean?" And she'd patiently wait and see what the other image in her cup was. For the moment she had to finish his reading which meant actually knowing what was at the bottom of his cup.

Turning it this way and that, she squinted as she studied the dregs from different angles. "Okay! I got it now! It just needed to be seen from a different direction." Smile. "I see a Hummingbird and a Windmill and the last one seems to be a Frog." Now she would just need to look up what all that meant.

Looking around the room she glanced behind a few portraits she had hanging, but really she knew nothing was there. She had put these up herself, but it was Hogwarts anything was possible. Looking back at Adi as he spoke she grinned, "Wonderful." This was going to be exciting and they could have fun looking around the seventh floor. She had to give snaps "It would be so exciting"

She couldn't imagine how excited she be if they actually did find something. Though she'd rather it be here then her office. "Benny are you finding anything?" Glancing over to him, he was rather quiet, but seemed to be a busy little bee.

Jotting a few more things down she went back near the door. "I think we have everything here boys, why don't we take a trip up to the owlery and do some mapping there." That sounded super fun and the owls were always so cute to visit.

Ooooohhh!!! Kace gave her the big O shape on his mouth. He grinned sheepishly and chuckled. "I totally knew that..." Why didn't he get that? He laughed it off and began the reading. What does the swan mean? He flipped through the pages and said, "Good luck, a lover and you will have a happy marriage. Well look at you having a good reading." he smiled. Now he saw Lux examine his cup and he wondered what his reading could be.

Ooooohhh a windmill and the frog? She saw two of them? He wondered if he saw another thing. He looked in Lux's cup while she was gonna look up his tea leaves.

Oooh, Lux liked the sound of the swan in her cup! "I wonder who I will marry," she said with a laugh while knowing exactly who it would be. They just weren't at that stage yet, obviously.

Now it was her turn to do the interpreting. Opening her textbook she turned it to the page on Tasseomancy symbols. "So a hummingbird means communication as well as visitors... So you will have a visitor at some point. Maybe during the summer?" That one was a little vague. "A windmill means success in an undertaking... so that could relate to school work since we are still too young for careers. And a frog means success in commerce as well as love. So I guess you will make a lot of money and well...the love thing speaks for itself." He had Emmy after all.

Not a bad reading if she had to say so herself. "So anything else in my cup? Or just the swan?"

Kace rolled his eyes and added in sarcastically, "Jeez I wonder whoooo.." he winked and laughed. He knew it was Bay of course but he wanted to tease her a bit. Just a wee bit. As Kace was seeing Lux do his readings, so he had a hummingbird? Hmm interesting. So he would have communication and visitors? He nodded and agreed with Lux. "Possibly, I know I am going to have Braedon over the summer visiting from Australia. I know he is your favorite person..." he smirked. Now a windmill? Very interesting. He waited for her to tell him what that meant.

Ooohhh success! He liked the sound of that! "Well I hope my hard work helps me out in the long run and it seems like it.." he said referring to the windmill. Now a frog? He raised his eyebrows at that and he heard the reading. Oooh he smiled and knew she was speaking about Emmy. He loved the more money bit. He had a good fortune! "Not a bad reading at all.." he thought out loud.

Now onto Lux. "Hmm well besides a swan...I see what looks like a bull and what looks like a cauldron.." Hmm was potions class getting into his brain? He highly doubt it. He began to flip through his textbook and read....

"Well a bull means slander by an enemy and a cauldron means Transformation, great change, women, new beginnings and endings." He nodded and didn't say anything. He wanted to hear Lux's reaction.

Pfft. "Keep talking to me like that and you won't be invited to my wedding." Jokes. Of course he would be invited she just wasn't sure about Emmy.

So he was expecting a visit from Braedon during the summer (ewww). Kace was right; she didn't like him because he was rude to her and rude about her Lion...but she had felt bad for him when he got dumped by Vinnie. That was a few months ago by now, and he was probably back to flirting with girls in Australia. "So the tea leaves WERE right about that. Interesting. And I'm sure your hard work WILL pay off." He was talking about NEWTs, right?

Yeaaaah, the bull didn't sound so good??? o_O "I don't think I have any enemies, but I don't like the sound of being slandered..." Who would do that to her??? Emmy wasn't her fan by any means, but that didn't seem to be her thing and yeah Lux didn't think she had any enemies even if there were a few people who didn't like her??? "I think the cauldron is for my potion brewing," she joked to lighten the mood a little.

Because she loved Potions.

Kace gaped at her and mockingly put his hand over his heart. "You wouldn't do such a thing. I mean Bay and I have a bromance. If you do that you will break bromance code!" He knew Bay would be upset if he didn't see his best mate at the wedding. I mean let's be real here. As soon as he mentioned Braedon he saw the reaction Lux gave him and he couldn't help but laugh. He shook his head and chuckled some more. "I knew that would be your reaction. I just knew it. He isn't TOO bad, yes he can be a butthead but he can mean well." he said defending him a bit. "I mean obviously what he did to you was horrible. He was a butt for that." he smirked.

Kace nodded and said, "Yeah I guess the tea leaves were right. I mean they were spot on. Yup the hard work is true and I hope it does pay off. I mean I gotta pass these NEWTS." he shrugged. He didn't wanna stress out too much ya know? As he read Lux's reading, he saw her reaction to the bull and he felt sorry he had to break the news. "Welllll I can think of one enemy you might have. Might be my girlfriend.." he said just hazarding a guess. "I don't want you to be slandered either! Who will I call cucumber?"

He chuckled at her joke and he rolled his eyes. "Yes ms. future potioneer over here.." he pointed to her. "You suck up to Culloden don't ya. How are you soo good?" I mean he wanted to learn her secrets.

Uh huh. That comment got an amused eyeroll. "Don't be silly, Kace. Of course you are coming." He was one of her best friends and one of Bay's as well. There was no way that he would miss it. This wouldn't be happening for a while anyway, it was just something for some point in the future.

The Brae thing caused Lux to pause for a moment. "Well...I don't like him because of what he said about me and Bay and the fact that he was rude while apologizing." That was not cool in her books. Not cool at all. "If he apologized for real and was nice about me and Bay than I'd be willing to be his friend." That was a big maybe at this point because she doubted he would apologize to her.

ANYWAY, moving on to other things.

"I'm sure you will do fine on your NEWTs. Your OWL scores were good, right?" She hadn't asked him about his results in case he didn't want to share but maybe it would be okay. Not like he could get mad at her for asking; if he didn't want to share he could just say as much. And he thought Emmy was her enemy? Interesting. "...Has she said as much? I mean that she sees me as an enemy? I thought we just weren't friends anymore." Maybe Kace knew since he was her boyfriend.

The potions thing did get a laugh, however. "Yeah, I suck up. That's my big secret. But I mean I'm sure there are loads of things that you are much better than me at." Skateboarding for one, judging by how disastrous her first and only attempt had been.

Kace beamed at Lux and he pointed his finger and said, "I better be or else.." he joked. He would never hurt her but he might do some public embarrassment. Nahh he was just kidding. "Well I know I will invite you iffff Emmy and I get married but I don't know what the future will hold. We shall see." he didn't have the plan set in stone yet. There was always the option it won't work out or they want something more. Let's just roll with the punches for now.

Kace snorted and laughed. "Don't worry I am not defending his actions. He can be a butt head. He just doesn't like you because you are soo innocent in his eyes. Heyyy that is just how he thinks.." he added before she could have her say. "I am sorry you got on bad terms with him. Come to think of it I don't know why girls like him.." he smirked and shrugged to himself. Now onto his OWL scores. He gulped and gave her the reassuring smile, "Yeah they weren't too bad.." At least he didn't lie right? He could fool Lux. He didn't' so well on Ancient Runes but he tried at least.

Now onto the topic of Emmy. He gulped and he wanted to tread this topic carefully. "Well she hasn't said anything mean to you. I just know how she looks at you and it seems like she doesn't like you. I wouldn't call you enemies. I would call you guys friends who had a falling out?" Was that a nice save? Would Emmy have his head because he said this? Well she won't find out.

He waved his hand at her comment. "Psshhh n'awww well I am just good at the physical stuff. I am not much of a book reader." He snorted when she said she was a suck up. He laughed and replied, "Well you gotta teach me this suck up thing. It seems like it is working in potions." he winked. He needed to get on Culloden's good side.
