Default Secret Passage

A passage that couldn't be seen before the flood of 2068-9 is now perfectly visible to all. Headmaster Bontecou once repaired it so that it no longer goes very far, but it does take you indirectly to the entrance of the Slytherin Common Room...if you aren't a Slytherin. If you are one, you'll see a new track that turns right to lead you to your common room - just what you need when you forget the password.

The passage may be dark and winding, and can occasionally smell like sewage (thanks, Myrtle), but that's no excuse for snogging down here!

He didn't know, but like she thought before, Professor Culloden was still awesome in her book. Eyes going between the professor and Gryffindor, she nodded at the mention of her. Yes, she did say that.

"Maybe an entrance to another dungeon." She shrugged, hugging the sketch book to her chest. Could be a possibility. Or a cell, or whatever. She was up for the adventure. They even had several Gryffindors to sacrifice if it came down to that. Slytherins were safe.

"I'd like to go check the detention halls. Do we have permission to go into the rooms?" she asked the professor. She didn't want to land in detention for wandering inside. That would just be stupid and not worth it.

At Beverly's words, Cosgrach shrugged too. "Maybe..." Or maybe it really was damaged and un-usable now. He didn't know.

"Sure you do," he said and smiled. It was exciting to enter there without any detentions, wasn't it? Hehe.

Gregoire finally did it...

He finally forgot the Slytherin Common Room password! To think it was this late in the year that he forgot about it too...Well, this was just great! Thankfully, there was a Secret Passage down here somewhere that lead into the Common Room. Which was extremely handy in his case. Due to the fact that this probably won't be the first time the Frenchie forgets the magic word to get in.

Walking around like a loony, Gregoire pulled out his wand. Boy was it dark down here in this tunnel! "Lumos!" The accented word practically flew out of his mouth. A bright ball of light formed at the tip of his wand. Eugh! And what was that smell?! It smelled of decay, and...sewage!??! Why would Moaning Myrtle be down here in the tunnels? Or did she just clog another toilet again...Merlin...the Slytherin hated when the ghost did that.

Margo was exploring the school. She was having a great time, she loved Hogwarts so much and was having a great time getting to know everyone. But this time Margo found herself lost in the dark. She was straining to see where she was going. And then Margo saw a light at the end of the tunnel...okay she really hoped she wasn't suddenly dead and didn't even know it!!!

Following the light Margo bumped right into someone or something. "OUCH!!!!!" She yelled as she grabbed her shin. "Is someone there?" Margo asked into the dark.

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN RAN INTO GREGOIRE!

Well, apparently it was a person because whomever did it began to speak. Huh. It was an unfamiliar voice. Wait. Maybe? This was that situation where you know you heard that voice somewhere, but you couldn't quite place a finger on where you've heard it. Grrrr, the boy knew kind of who it was! A flashback was coming back to him but it was all blurry. The Snake couldn't quite make a face. So, he decided to see who it was.

Abruptly turning on his heels, Gregoire had his wand at his face height. There wasn't another face directly in front of his. The 5'8" fourth year had to look down a bit to see who was there...oh...it was her. That Margo girl or whatever her name was. Sadly she was there that day at the Ravenclaw, so automatically he knew what was coming next- 'Hey! Your that boy from the Ravenclaw table who fought with the other Ravenclaw!' Or something along those lines.

"Tread carefully down here badger. For us Snakes don't like to be disturbed, and your heading straight for our nest." A bit of an evil and grim tone rang through the air, his usual French accent making it sound a bit nicer than intended though. Sadly, anything you said in French or with a French Accent sounded nice and petite. This shouldn't have sounded either of those two things. The words he spoke should have sounded authoritative yet evil. Firm and strong, yet still a bit cautious and meaningful.

Dear Merlin, it was a boy!!!!! And he appeared to be a giant!!!! At least it was a person she ran into and not some creepy creature! "Oh Hello!" Margo added now standing up! "I think we've met before." Margo added trying to remember where she had seen the him before.

Ad then it dawned on her. The boy from the feast!!! He was the who was fighting!!! And then again in the tree house. Margo had been a little over zealous then and maybe had over stepped her boundaries. "I'm Margo, did I ever introduce myself before" She added smiling. What was his name........Margo was racking her brain trying to remember what it was.

Hmmmph.

This girl was a lively one...to lively. I mean, yeah she was a first year at Hogwarts, but that didn't mean she had to be THIS lively. When Gregoire first came here last year he was excited, but not like this. "No, you haven't. I am Gregoire Ambroise Bastion." The towering Slytherin said with obvious high respect for his name. The way he spoke was cocky and a bit sarcastically, yet sophisticated because of his French accent. There was no denying that he meant to intimidate her just a tad bit.

Looking around the Snake wondered if there was something he could do to trick the girl. Hmmm. Would he possibly be able to sneak past her? The passage way looked wide enough he could possibly squeeze by her without her noticing. Maybe just maybe...a plan was brewing inside of Gregoire...
