The Badgers sit under a beautiful gold and black banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. The food will arrive after the Headmistress' traditional feast speech. To all Hufflepuffs, both new and old: enjoy the feast!
As Kace was busy talking to his fellow new and old puffs he noticed a familiar face. He turned around and noticed Dylan made it to the table. Huh...how come he didn't seem him before!? Well now time to go say hi to his friend. "Hey mate." he greeted Dylan. "What's up?" he asked giving him a one armed hug. "How was your summer? Good I hope." I mean he hardly seen him and kept in contact with him, he felt bad but at least they were catching up now right!?
Kace laughed at Lux's amused eye roll. He chuckled and responded with, "Well I am glad you like me Lux but you know I am taken." he winked and nudged her playfully. He stuck his tongue out too like a playful sibling would. He loved her innocence though. He was glad Lux was keeping in contact with Bay with two way mirrors no less. "Well that is great when you talk to him tell him his bromance lover says hi." he smirked. "Well it is gonna be weird without him but I think we will be able to pull through with lots of writing for the owls." he shrugged. See he was smart when it came to simple solutions. "Oh you know that is just how I roll and you won't be an idiot don't worry. You can just excuse it for something else." I mean it has happened to Kace plenty of times.
Next onto Adi, he laughed and said "I do take Emmy there sometime. She sometimes avoids me and does her own thing matter of fact. The island is good for couples. You and your girlfriend should go there sometime." he winked. His girlfriends name slipped his mind but he would hear it again and then remember it. OOoh he was gonna steal his? Well then it is on like donkey kong. Hmm Adi did have a point, "Very true I mean we are cooler without the badges anyways." he joked a bit and chuckled. He knew he wasn't a loser he was joking but Adi seemed more awesome than he was. I mean it was proven when he was chosen Prefect but onto the subject of OWLS. "Oh you will be fine with your classes dude. Just try to pay attention and you will be fine." he assured him. I mean sometimes his attention span would drift off but he did fine on his OWLS after rigorous studying.
Waitt a minute, he was a fifth year this term. Woahh he thought he was in the same year. "Dude I am sorry I thought you are in the same year. I keep forgetting your a year younger." he ruffled his hair.
Kace smiled warmly when Sophia complimented her. "It was my pleasure." he bowed playfully I mean she was the Candy Queen after all. Psshh no one thought that about third years here. Everyone at Hogwarts treated everyone fairly. "Well you know if they flicked you off like an annoying bug I would be there with a fly swatter swatting them away.." he promised and did the motions of trying to get the bugs off her. "See I am not joking." he smirked.
After hearing where Candy Queen wanted to go, she wanted to go to all the top places. "Well those are all awesome places. I will take you to Honeydukes with my girlfriend and you can meet her." he grinned. Emmy always had a knack for sweets, it one of the things that made her happy besides him of course. "Have you seen the house ghosts yet?" he asked noticing Sir Nicholas and the Bloody Baron were out.
The familiar and not familiar person was talking to him. "Bleu. What a strange name" he said, not being able to help himself. "I am Noel - and err ... are you new?" Noel asked out right because he was so confused. He had definitely seen her and NOT seen her at the same time.
Eyes turning to the staff table again, the fourteen year old snorted. "I am pretty sure he had a very valid reason for doing it" Professor Airey always had a reason. Noel's head tilted, watching Professor Airey still not getting off Professor Javy's lap. It was funny. Really really funny. He nodded hearing Tobias, "yeaah, definitely more fun-er than this" he added, pointing at the VERY empty 'no food' table.
Seriously though, someone needed to talk to the headmistress about food appearing the moment the kid's hit the table. Without food, he could never really concentrate on her speech. SO yeah.
Kace was apparently willing to continue talking to him. What in world? Was it because he was a fourth year now? Kind of a senior now? "Oh I am a fourth year," Noel told the guy. "And it definitely really nice to formerly meet you" GRIN. Because it was. So cool. Could he tell that Noel was sort of maybe a fan?
And look at that Lux was talking to him still. What was it with seniors so willing to talk to him? "And I have always seen you around too" Pause. "Not in a stalker-ish way of course." He added with a nervous laugh because ah - yeah. He was just a good people watcher. A really really good people watcher. "My vacation was great. And yours?"

Dylan smiled at Lux. It had really been too bad they didn't hang out over the summer... there had been so much they had to do with finding Lydia and going camping and all that. "I've been good and my summer was great!" he told her. "And yeah, I'm pretty excited for this term. How about you?" he asked. It was nice to finally be catching up with one of his best friends.
"Oh, a few actually!" he replied to Adi when he asked if he'd composed any songs. "How about you? How's guitar going for ya?" he asked curiously. He remembered giving his friend lessons not long ago and how much fun they had.
He then turned to Kace and gave him a hug in return. "It was great," he said with a nod. "How was yours? What did you do?" he asked. It was always interesting hearing what others did over the summer. Some of his friends took the fanciest vacations!

Bleu gave a small giggle. Kace, a nerd? He definitely didn't look like one. "We sure do." She smiled. She blushed a little brighter with his laugh. She wasn't good at geography of other countries, especially since she hadn't really left the confines of Great Britain and Ireland. "Very interesting. Did you grow up having to avoid tornadoes? Isn't that part of what they call 'tornado alley'?" She used air quotes around that last phrase. Hearing his fathers occupation and the casual air in which he mentioned it, like it wasn't a big deal, made her snort. "You say that like the NBA isn't a huge deal! That's amazing!" Her muggle father was a CEO of a huge company she couldn't remember, which was part of the reason they had so much money, other than her mother's pure-blood wealthy wizard heritage. Speaking of mothers..."So you're a muggle born then? Why didn't you go to the wizarding school in America?" She asked in her gravely alto and adorable London accent.
This boy (Dylan) was too cute for her own good. She had butterflies. This was the first time she had ever had butterflies since fourth grade and Oliver Harris smiled at her...just before he dumped soda on her head and called her an elephant. She put the wall up...just in case.
She gave him a small smiled, "You're welcome." She was kind of nervous to be talking to him. She couldn't figure out why though. She was fine with all the other boys. He was very cute. She blushed slightly at the compliment and replied, "Thank you. It's nice to meet you Dylan." She knew his name was Dylan! "Enjoying the feast?" She asked indifferently. She decided....mind over matter. She would treat him like any other boy. The wall was up.
Bleu giggled. A soap brand? Interesting. "Well at least you have an interesting name. Willow Bleu. My mother." She shook her head and rolled her eyes. Why would you name your kid after your favorite tree and your favorite color? And who has a favorite tree anyway. She grinned to herself. Her mum was crazy but she loved her. Lux did have a very cool name.
"Everyone has that fear. Even the most confident people. But with the right tools and constant studying, and of course having fun when you need to," She winked, "you'll always be successful, Lix. You just have to find the right method for you. For instance index cards are amazing for studying charms, and other spells so you can remember the name and what they do." Oh, she was showing her nerdy side. She smiled, "I really hope to make a lot of friends this year." She really didn't have any friends. She was an only child so she was ok with being a lone.
She wished her mother would take her on more trips. They really didn't go anywhere when she was home for the summer and when her mother took her vacation they always went to Godric's Hollow to visit her grandparents. "Canada. That's cool. Yes, my mum and I live in London, in a very lovely flat in Chelsea." She hoped Lux didn't know much about London. Chelsea happened to be one of the more expensive areas to live. Her family had money, but they didn't like to make it known because they weren't snobs about it.
Blue gave Noel a kind smile that didn't reach her eyes. "Noel. What an interesting name for a guy." She said back. She found her sass again. She hated it when people commented on her name. But she was determined to make friends. With a sigh she replied, "No, I am not new. Just kept to myself for the last 4 years." How was it possible that so many people had never noticed her before?

Dylan felt nervous. Like he was gonna do something stupid, like knock over a goblet or something. Man, it was never like this when he talked to Lux or any of his other friends that were girls...so...why was he freaking out so much inside? She was just a girl. He glanced at Bleu. Could she hear his heart beating? It felt so loud.
"Yeah," he answered her question with a nod. "And you?" he asked. At least they were making some conversation instead of having an awkward silence. He was doing good so far, no mess ups. Phew!
ThunderPUFF | Whoodley | MRD&LKD | Graphics Queen | Tristalen | Mrs. A | Hunny Bun
Bleu felt a nervous energy coming from Dylan. She was sort of...happy about it. But why would she be happy that he was nervous around her? He didn't seem like the type to be nervous around people. He had a very confident air when he first walked up. She grinned at the thought that he could possibly be nervous to talk to her. The girl that no boy ever liked.
She smiled, and bit her bottom lip. Was she flirting!? What the bloody craziness was going on here?! She plucked a long strand of auburn hair from behind her ear and twisted it around her fingers. "Yeah, I guess." She shrugged. She had to get the conversation moving......"So you're a fifth year right? I'm pretty sure I've seen you in, like, all of my classes." She asked in her gravely alto and adorable London accent. She had to admit...she was adorable.

Dylan glanced at Bleu to catch her smile and bite her lip and then...oh Merlin, what was she doing? Twirling her hair around her finger? Was she trying to make him like...this? All woozy and whatnot inside? He could feel his cheeks flush and he looked down at the table as she spoke to him, letting his hair fall in his face a bit so that she couldn't see him blushing. "Yeah, I'm a fifth year." he replied. He felt the color from his cheeks die down and he felt it was now safe to look at her. He turned towards her, studying her. "Y'know, I don't recall seeing you in my classes," he said, trying to think if he'd ever seen her before. But then again, wouldn't he remember that pretty face? Dylan remembered every face he met. Hmm. "There are so many people here I still haven't met that have been going here as long as me." he told her with a laugh. Which was true. Last year he made so many new friends in his year he'd never met before. "I take it you're a fifth year too?" he asked, looking at her. She looked around his age. Maybe a year older.
He turned next to Norah who asked about his holiday. He chuckled and thought it was cool she got to play with her brothers. Nothing wrong with that. "Eehh nothing too much. I went to Australia for a bit to visit my cousins and I went to Diagon Alley but it was nice to see everyone. I am excited to start the new term though." he smiled and nodded. He couldn't wait to see what his sixth year had in store for him. "What year are you in now?" he asked. "I remembered just meeting you when you were a first year. You are looking so grown up." he smiled the proud smile people get when you see the young ones grow.
Norah tried not to be too pleased when Kace laughed at what she had said, 'cause being a third year couldn't REALLY mean that she had turned funny. No need to get hopes up or anything. Her mouth opened into a little O when he mentioned Australia. Was that considered nothing much? "WOAH! Australia sounds sooo cool!" She GRINNED at him, waiting for a description of all the coool things. "Did you see kangaroos and stuff? Did you RIDE one?" They were important questions, okay? OOH! One more. "Did you bring me home a koala?" She STILL wasn't allowed to have a cat, but even her parents couldn't say no to a koala.
"I'm a third year now. A real live teenager!" Norah sat up straighter and put her nose in the air to show how OLD and MATURE she was now. Hehehe. Breaking out into giggles, she sat normally again and grinned at him. "I remember that too! 'Cause you were nice and I don't forget the nice ones. You seemed real big back then." She looked him up and down and giggled once more. "Well, you still seem big, but it's not my fault I'm short." Her mum SWORE she would get taller soon. Sigh. Could it be 'soon' yet? The problem with grownups was that when they said 'soon' they really meant 'never' or 'only if you eat your broccolli' but when Norah heard soon she heard 'in a few minutes' or 'after a few seconds of wishing really hard.' Of course, the WORST was when she ate ALL her broccolli AND her spinach AND wished really hard and it STILL didn't happen. Double sigh. ALL the sighs.
SPOILER!!: Lux!

"Sometimes I wish that I had younger siblings too, because I love kids and I love babies." Obviously it was too late for her to get any younger siblings NOW, but for a while she did wish that it would happen. Oh well, she did love Willa and Lennon a lot. Giggling, Lux thought that Norah was adorable. "Yeah, some of the classes are tedious, but I am super excited for Potions because that's my favourite class by far." She loved brewing potions and could never get tired of it
Norah looked up at Lux with her hazel eyes widened as she described her family. Having an older sibling just sounded so weird. "I kinda like being the oldest, y'know 'cause I get to do things first and teach my brothers games 'n stuff." She didn't get to teach Sebastian that much 'cause he knew EVERYTHING, but it was fun with Marcel because he was the littlest. "But I'm also the one who gets in trouble the most. 'Specially when we get muddy." Her mum hated mud being tracked in the house, but what fun was playing hanging out if you couldn't get dirty? "Do they give you advice for things?" Having older siblings would be good for a thirteen year old, 'cause thirteen was the real deal and Norah wasn't just gonna ask about things. That'd be WEIRD and EMBARRASSING, so maybe she'd just have to figure it out by herself. Or ask Mari.
"Potions is fun, but I like Herbologythe best. And Creatures, 'cause no maths." Maths were HARD okay? And she wasn't the best at spells and Herbology had dirt. So really, it wasn't hard to pick a favorite.

Bleu grinned but pretended she didn't notice that Dylan was hiding a blush with his hair. She wanted to play with his hair so badly. It was just so pretty. She controlled the urge to reach out and touch it by playing with her own hair. She gave him a small smile. So many people never noticed her. Was it because she was starting to make eye contact or because she started wearing make up? "I really kept to myself, actually. But I figure life is to short to not enjoy every minute of it. I'm tired of being lonely." She gave him a sad smile and and looked away. Blue knew of a lot of people but she didn't really know them. "I am hoping I will make some friends this year. Even if its only a few." There were a lot of people in their year. Too many to recognize them all but that was normal for Hogwarts. "Yeah, I am. I wouldn't have recognized you if you hadn't been in all of my classes for the last 4 years." She gave him a cheeky grin and braided a strand of her hair.

"Oh," Dylan nodded. That made sense. "I gotcha. Well, I'm glad you're more confident now," And he was glad he was more confident now with Bleu. Well, for now. He was sure his face would get all red again at some point. He glanced towards Kace and Adi. He'd have to talk to them later in the dorm about her and the feelings going on inside of him that he'd never had before. Kace would understand, wouldn't he? He had a girlfriend and all... perhaps there was a spell to keep his cheeks from blushing.
"I'm sure you'll make tons of friends this year," he told her in response to what she said. "I mean, why wouldn't you? You're really nice and friendly, y'know." The fifteen year smiled at her. He then chuckled. Yeah, that would make sense. He just wanted to make sure she was a fifth year. "Yeah, true." he said.
Resident Ghost of Hufflepuff | Friendly & Cheerful
Ah, it was feast time! The Friar loved the beginning of the term to see all the fresh new faces and familiar friends eager to start a new school year. And now it was time to welcome everyone back to Hogwarts, especially his dear Hufflepuffs!
The Friar floated through the hall, headed straight for the table clad in yellow and black. A table full of children, wonderful! And he hadn't even missed the Headmistress speech, that was a good thing too. A jolly smile on his transparent face, he floated right through the middle of the table. "Welcome to Hufflepuff, children!" he said to the newly sorted badgers. "And welcome back, everyone else!" He couldn't forget the older students too.

"Yeah, me too." Bleu smiled. She had come to the realization over the summer that just because she had a fuller figure and was a slight nerd, didn't mean she didn't deserve friends. "I was bullied a lot at the muggle school I went to before here. That takes its toll on a person." Why was she telling Dylan this? She blushed slightly. She just met him. She never talked this candidly with people. Though, she never really talked to people in general. He was just so sweet...and cute....and slightly dreamy. She needed a girl to talk to about him.
Tons of friends? Nice? Her? She snorted out a small giggle, "I hope you are right." She flushed a little more. "You're really nice too." She smiled and bit her bottom lip. She needed to change the subject. "So what are your hobbies...what do you like to do when your not in class or cramming for OWL's?" She looked down and poked the fork next to her elbow.
Bleu noticed the Fat friar, smiled and waved at him, then continued on with her conversations.

Bullied? Dylan looked at Bleu and frowned. "Really?" he asked. Ugh. Bullies. He never understood why people could be so mean. Especially to someone like Bleu! "I can bet. I'm sorry that happened, you don't deserve that. Nobody does." he told her with a firm nod. "And if anyone bullies you here, you let me know and I'll protect ya." he added, giving her a wink.
He chuckled. "Don't worry. I am." he smiled at her. And he was. Seriously, she was so friendly and everyone here was too. He'd never really met any mean people. Hogwarts was such a great place for making good friends. He then gave a thoughtful look at her question, pushing back his hair. "Well," he started. "I love to play guitar. Strong passion of mine. I also like to do art and read..." he smiled shyly. That probably seemed lame in a guy, didn't it? He probably seemed like a loser or something. He wasn't the sort of guy who went and worked out all the time and was super athletic. Which he knew all the girls wanted. Sigh. "That's about it, really. What about you?" he asked.
Puck grinned over to Adi and gave him a wave in return, “Hey Adi,” she smiled, before turning her attention to Lux. She chuckled at the question though because she had been asked that a few times now hadn’t she? “Not in the least. I’m still getting used to it really,” she admitted and flicked the badge with her finger.
Puck looked over to Bleu and smiled. “Aw great, so any fun plans this term so far?” She asked that wasn’t awkward was it? Of course not it was just extremely friendly. Wait, Noel was responding Puck grinned and laughed. “What? Stalking never” she laughed. “I was asking if you met anyone like me and really, it seems like you have” she grinned. “Did you and Hayley have fun this summer?” she asked as clearly both Hayley and Noel were awesome.
Puck chuckled when she saw Toby’s reaction t her noticing the badge. “Hey well she must be a very giving person to think of you first” she grinned brightly. “Oh yeah I get that…we just talked about the badges a bit in the Prefects Compartment” she chuckled, “I thought it was really handy.” She grinned and turned her attention to Marigold who had waved to her simply sending her back another wave.
Aw, Kace looked so happy. That was good. “Hey pillowCASE” she smirked and grinned over to her friend. “Well…I might have a secret stash somewhere especially for you” Puck grinned over to him. She laughed and grinned over to him. “Okay…I will in a bit” she laughed “well…Bianca and I kind of told him that she and I eloped” she laughed, “I’ll have to tell you about it in more detail later” Oh…Lux was asking about the box.
“Oh…it was the supply closet with all of the dust and things” she shuddered at the memory. Puck did, of course send the Hufflepuff guy Dylan a quick wave as well. “Hey” she smiled and even sent the Fat Friar a smile and wave.

Margo smiled at Adi as he handed her a chocolate from card. "Thanks!" She added taking the frog card and opening it up. She never really collected the cards before, she wasn't allowed to eat too many sweets at home, had to be healthy and all. So the few cards she had collected she gave away. "Do you collect?" Margo asked turning the card over to look at who was on it. "Hey it's Dumbledore" She added reading the little note on the back. "I'm so excited for classes to start" Margo added! She couldn't stop smiling at everyone and everything. This was going to so much fun.
Turning toward her other side, Margo looked at Kace "Well I'm telling you I saw something move in that stupid lake and I swear it was the Kraken." Margo knew she saw something move in there! Everyone kept saying to was a squid, but it definitely looked menacing and creepy. Margo gave a little shiver just thinking about it again. Gross. "I'm glad I get to be here." Margo added when the started talking about going vs. not going to Hogwarts. "My brother hates me now though....He wouldn't talk to me all summer." She added remember how Mason had treated her all summer. It made her sad, she loved her brother, and after all it wasn't her fault that he wasn't accepted.
It was her first year at Hogwarts and she was rather nervous to be going. After transferring from Beauxbatons, she wasn't really used to the British customs and British people for a matter of fact. Abby still had a French accent and she was very afraid that it would be made fun of in her new school. Either way she was stuck there for at least a year and would have to make the most of it.
She was sorted into the Hufflepuff house and saw the big long table and didn't know where to sit. One of the ends, she figured would be the best choice. Looking around at the other people she finally settled on sitting towards the front of the table in the see of yellow. Well this was Hogwarts and who knew what would come from it, she just had to wait and see.

"Well, we were two of the lucky ones, weren't we?" Adi said happily as he continued his conversation with the equally happy Sophs. "Hey, maybe next year we can meet up and do something fun in Diagon Alley. Hang out somewhere...'' He liked to make time for his friends just so they didn't feel forgotten. But the whole book story got a hearty laugh out of him. "It's not your fault you're a short Sophie,'' he said. Adi tilted his head, looking at Sophs with curiosity. "What do you mean 'be careful for'? Do you mean like persons who would trick you or get you in trouble?" He was slightly confused.
Adi laughed. Kace could be so hilarious. "I think she prefers the island over you,'' he said with a wink. "Awesome. Just let me know where this mysterious island of yours is and I'll take AJ.'' And Kace agreed with him! Yay! "That we are. Everyone knows Hufflepuffs are the coolest of all the Houses anyway." If they didn't... well they should. "Some Professors can be boring, Kace,'' the fifth year whispered. You know, just in case there were prying ears about. "They just want to put you asleep.'' Didn't Kace have to deal with that? Hair Ruffle! One of Adi's favourite things. "You just don't want to leave me at Hogwarts when you graduate because I'm that awesome." LOL.
Adi happily watched Margo open up the Froggie. It felt so awesome to help make the new Badgers feel welcome and at home. Margo seemed as though she belonged here all along. "Yep, I collect. I've got a whole lot of them at home. Each year, I take back a huge stack.'' Because he ate that much Froggies. "Any class you looking forward to in particular?"
"That's awesome, Dylan! Think maybe someday you could let me hear them? Or maybe we could write one together." What fun that would be! "I'm good. It's going great for me too. I can actually play a couple of songs already.'' Since last year actually. Adi planned to play one for AJ sometime soon... "How's that kitten?"
The Prefect turned to see a girl around his age heading for the Table. Ohhh! A NEW BADGER! (Abigail) Woot! "Hello!'' he greeted her, bubbling with enthusiasm. "Welcome to Hogwarts! But most of all, Welcome to Hufflepuff House!''
Out of the corner of his bespectacled eyes, the fifth year spotted the a slight disturbance in the air and turned his full attention towards it... to be greeted by the Fat Friar! Adi wtched as his House Ghost floated through the middle of the Table. "Hello, hello,'' he said with a grin, pleased to see the Ghostie again. "How are you?"
Hogwarts was definitely full of energy, Abby could tell by the constant chatter that was going around the table. People were everywhere just having fun, but there wasn't any food yet. Was it some strange British custom to not let people have food, she thought it was supposed to be a start of term feast. After she sat down someone came up to her (Adi) and welcomed her.
"Thank you for the welcome," Abby said with a smile trying to hide her French accent, but failing miserably. "I'm Abigail Henry, or Abby, just moved to London from France this year." She stuck out her hand to the boy, it seemed like the polite thing to do. Suddenly the teacher in the middle of the staff table, the headmistress most likely, was making a speech. Then there was food, thank goodness. She was beginning to worry that they were going to starve her at the school. Piling her plate full she looked around to see if anything else would happen.

She had an accent! Clearly she was a transfer student. Her accent and age gave that away. "Nice to meet you, Abby.'' Being a fan of nicknames, it was quite usual for him to call her that on their first meeting. "I'm Aditya Rehman but everyone calls me Adi.'' He shook the girl's hand enthusiastically. "I'm one of the prefects for Hufflepuff so if you need help with anything you can ask me or Marigold over there.'' Adi pointed in Mari's direction. Abby would surely spot her easily as she was the only other badged person here.
"So... Beauxbatons? How was it there?" It was always fun to hear about other wizarding schools. Though none could compare to Hogwarts.
The boy shook her hand with lots of enthusiasm, it was a very nice welcome. She knew that at Beauxbatons they could sometimes get a little cold and unfriendly when new people came, but then they also sometimes got cliquey. She supposed that was what the sorting hat when it said that Abby was a loyal person, she was loyal to her friends at Beauxbatons for sure. "It's very nice to meet you Adi," she said with a smile and looked where he was pointing to the other prefect.
Then he was asking about Beauxbatons and she had to figure out how to describe it to him. "Beauxbatons is definitely different from here, and I definitely miss it. It's a palace for once and I find Hogwarts to be a bit gloomy, while Beauxbatons is so perfect, pretty, and it feels welcoming. Though I will admit that it can be very cliquey there, so I'm enjoying Hogwarts and how open people seem to be," Abby said as she rambled on a bit. "So, do you have any tips about Hogwarts?"

Bleu's stomach did a back flip. Dylan wanted to protect her. That was a first. She couldn't understand why he would want to protect her. "I'm surprised that you would want to protect someone you just met, especially me." She flushed a little. What was with all this honesty? SHE JUST MET HIM! She smiled a little and said, "But I appreciate the concern." It was the polite response.
She smiled really big. She really did want more friends. Hopefully this year would prove to be good for her and she would have more friends than she ever thought. But she didn't want to be too hopeful. She had learned not to be overly hopeful that way you don't get your heart broken. As he pushed some hair behind his ear...she wished she could play with it. She gave him a smile. She wasn't surprised he was a musician. She was a little surprised that he like art and books but it made her happy. "Really? I play a little too. I also sing, but only for my mum or in private. I love to read and write, and I'm slightly ridiculous when it comes to studying. I also love art." They had so much in common. He was even more cute to her now. "What is your favorite genre of music?" She loved all music, but loved to sing Jazz most of all.
Bleu looked over to Puck and smiled back, "Just to make more friends and pass those OWL's. You?" She played with her hair. She was starving all of a sudden.

Kace saw Noel and his starstruck in his eyes. He probably saw him as a legend or something. He found it quite adorable and humbling at the same time. He didn't see himself as a celebrity. Ah so he was a fourth year that was something to take note of. "That is cool mate. I remember being in my fourth year you will have a great time." he gave him a reassuring smile. "Well I am glad I could meet your acquaintance. So tell me what are you most excited for this term?" he asked being the curious puff he was.
Now onto talking to his long lost friend Dylan. He was glad his summer went well and now onto his summer. "Well my summer was the usual really. I played some sports, went to some sports camps and went to Diagon Alley but I didn't go to that music festival though. Did you go there?" he asked.
Kace chuckled at Bleu's question and nodded. "Yeah I did have to grow up knowing the tornado's siren. I learned to go into my cellar and practicing in case a tornado ever came. Yeah it is part of the tornado alley how did you know?" he chucked being impressed with her information. Kace waved her off and said, "Yeah it is alright I guess I am just used to it for my dad." he shrugged. He heard her question and it was an excellent one and he responded with, "Well the reason I came here is because my grandmother came here and she wanted me to fill in the family blood. My mother came here and she wanted us to carry on the legacy of going to Hogwarts here." Belle already carried on the legacy and now it was Kace's turn.
He chuckled at Norah's question. "Yes I did see kangaroos because we went to one of the zoo's there. My cousins brother took us and it was quite awesome. I got to see some Koala's and no I didn't ride one. I think if I did I would have been kicked. I think it would have hurt. Nahh I didn't smuggle you a Koala. They would have been too homesick and I think our parents would be asking us questions. Plus how would we hide it?" he asked curious for her ideas.
Yeah thirteen is a big year for someone people because now you are in your teen years. He was glad she didn't forget about him and she made a comment about his height which made him laugh even more. "Well if you invent pills to stop me from growing then I will take them." he offered. "And you are not short, you are fun sized." he smiled reasoning with her.
OH! The Fat Friar was here. This will be interesting, "Hello Fat Friar it is nice to see you again." he greeted him politely. "How have you been?" he asked keeping the conversation going.
Now onto Puck and he smirked when she used his nickname. Only she could call him that. "Heyyy I almost forgot about that nickname and I wanna know about that secret stash sooner or later.." he winked and nudged her. So her and Bianca kind of eloped? Wait....what!? He definetley needed more details. "Alright tell me more later when not so many little ones are around.." he winked. "Do you wanna try outside the common room or on the grounds." he suggested.
Now to turn his attention to the little firstie Margo. "Alright I believe you. I will need to see this Kracken for myself you know." he smirked and he would walk with Margo to the lake later. "Well you should be happy to be here and plus you are in the best house." he winked not favoriting his house or anything. "Oooh well I think your brother was jealous because normal muggle schools are always so serious all the time. Here the teachers are quite awesome." he nodded towards the staff table.
Kace gasped and said "You take that back Adi." he was joking of course and nudged him. "I am sure she preferred the island over me. I mean I got nothing to offer." he shrugged. "Perfect I will give you the coordinates to the island and AJ and Emmy can get along while Me and you have quality bro time." he nodded. He wished he could be doing on vacation now. He snorted and agreed the puffs were the coolest house ever. "Yeah everyone is always intimidated by the puffs." he winked. "Especially the snakes." he pointed to their table. Woaahhh did Adi just say some professor's were boring. He thought he liked them all. "I couldn't agree with you more mate. Some can make me fall asleep. That is why I bring my doodles with me. I have made some quite great pieces of art in my classroom days." he smirked. Yeah totally Kace didn't wanna leave Hogwarts because Adi was just that awesome. LOL.
As he was done talking to Adi he noticed a newbie Hufflepuff (Abigail). She seemed to be in the same year so he thought he might introduce himself. "Hello I am Kace."

Seeing someone wave at him, the fifth year turned to wave back at the Gryffie. "Hai!" he said, beaming. "Enjoying the feast?" he asked. He knew he was. Being with all these awesome people...ah, it was good to be back!

After seeing a girl being sorted into Hufflepuff, he watched as the new face joined the table and sat near him. She looked around his age, so she was probably a transfer or something.
He smiled, giving her a wave and reaching across to shake her hand. "Hello!" he said. "Welcome to Hufflepuff! I'm Dylan, fifth year." he introduced himself with a smile.

I can actually play a couple of songs already.'' Since last year actually. Adi planned to play one for AJ sometime soon... "How's that kitten?"
"Of course, I can show you as soon as we get in the dorm or something." Dylan answered with a nod. He then raised his eyebrows when Adi suggested writing one together. He'd always wanted to write a song with someone! Grinning, the fifth year nodded once more. "Dude that'd be awesome! We should!" Perhaps they could have a duet thing with one of them on lead guitar and one on rhythm, wouldn't that be fun?
"I'm proud of you man, that's so great," he said. He was really happy to hear Adi was getting better. "You'll have to show me the songs you've learned." He added, taking a glance at the staff table, wondering when the speech would be given. Ah, well. Turning his attention back to his friend, he chuckled. "Oh, Ginger? She's great." he smiled.

Dylan laughed. "Well, why not? No one deserves to be bullied." he said with a shrug. "I just care about people is all..." he added.
His face seemed to light up when she spoke of her similar interests. "Really? That's so cool." he said, gazing at her dreamily for a second before realizing what he was doing and quickly looking away before she could see what he had been doing and pretending to be occupied with playing with a small piece of his hair. "Well," he said, continuing to focus on that one strand. "I really dig old Muggle rock n' roll. How about you?" he asked.

"Oh awesome," he said with a smile. It was so cool that Kace was an athletic guy. He'd have to have him teach him some sport sometime because even though Dylan wasn't so sporty himself, he always liked to learn new things.
Right, the music festival! "I heard about it but wasn't able to go because we were camping." he said with a frown. Man, wouldn't he had loved to be there, it sounded like it had gone really well. And plus he was a total music lover so that was a big bummer.
Suddenly there were more people who were paying attention to her at the Hufflepuff table which was exciting. She could see that there was drama going on in some of the other tables, but she was sort of glad that her house was just filled with enthusiastic, nice people. Beauxbatons had enough drama for her to deal with and she was looking forward to not a lot of drama.
One of the guys who was at the table had introduced himself as Kace to her. "Hello, I'm Abigail, Abby, whichever you prefer," she said with a smile. "I just transferred this year." In case her accent didn't give it away as it had for Adi.
Then she another boy named Dylan had introduced himself. "Abby," she said shaking his hand after deciding that it was much simpler to introduce herself by her nickname since that was what everybody called her anyways. "I'm also going to be a fifth year!"
"I like Astronomy, I've been studying constellations for years already, but I'm looking forward to learning Transfiguration. You know, changing one thing into another just sounds like a blast." Margo told Adi. She was day dreaming about her first day of classes. She hoped that she would be able to catch on quick. "By the way, still no name for my kitty!" She smiled thinking of the conversation they had on the train about her kitten.
Then Margo turned toward Kace. "That's what my mother said to, that he was jealous, but I still don't understand how I got accepted but he didn't. And now they are all worried about Marcus and if he'll get accepted next year or not."Margo wasn't sure what to make of all this. She hated to talk about these things, her family was jus in an uproar about Mason, and then her ... things were a little tense at home. That was another reason why she couldn't wait to get away.
