Entering in the barnyard, you are greeted with the rows of gated stables. Those who have been in "The Stables" previously will first notice the absence of being first greeted by Winged Horses. Where could they be? Why they've just been moved even further down towards the opposite open double-doors for easier access. Instead of fully cleaned out stables before you however, you see new creature inhabitants. Some familiar-looking from earlier classes and outdoor playpens, some not so familiar-looking.. Nearby the stables you see the wall with pink-glittered gloves and apron by the refilling tray of food. It looks fairly cozy otherwise around here now.

Adi made his way towards the Stables. He did notice all the changes but he was too lost in his own thoughts to really marvel and appreciate them all. "She doesn't even want to talk to me now,'' he thought dejectedly. For the millionth time, Adi mentally kicked himself for loosing his cool with AJ. Why had he expected her to get over him telling her that his mother did not approve of him dating her within seconds? Admittedly, that was not one of Adi's finest moments. Sigh.
Adi instantly noted the winged horses were missing but thankfully the hippogriffs were still there. It wasn't his favourite creatures that had his attention, temporarily distracting him. It was the fairies from last term! Surely his two were there? Yes! There they were, zooming towards him. They were his, alright. One with multi coloured wings and the other with transparent wings. "Hey, guys!'' Adi let them out of their assigned stable and they instantly planted themselves in his hair. Some things never changed.

At least he wasn't calling her his wife anymore.

ALTHOUGH she knew loads of boys who were amazing danseurs and had their very own solos and did amazing without girls, so there you have it. Not that she thought Adi could ever reach that level, but it'd be nice to have some guys there too. To show off the girl ballerinas, of course. "You won't regret it."
Huh. That was easier than she thought it'd be. She was ready to try to convince him and even bargain with him about the fliers. Agatha's reaction was some blinking and staring. "Thanks." Huh. She also watched as the fairies tugged at his hair. "Why.... are they doing that?"

No. He wouldn’t hex a girl. Especially not one he actually liked. Ugh! Why did he have to be so nice all the time? This trait could be so annoying. Yet he need not worry. His revenge was being carried out, just not by him.
Adi went into laughter when he saw what was happening. His two fairies had zoomed off his head and were now attacking Agatha. The shorter one- Ana- was clutching strands of the girls hair in both tiny fists and pulling at them with all her strength while the taller one was tugging at her right ear. Both were buzzing rather loudly leading Adi to think that they were angry.
The Puffer was doubled up with laughter now, holding onto his knees. “Hahahaha! How do you like that, Agatha?” He was prepared to bet she hadn’t expected this turn of events. If only her fellow Snakes could see this.
Nicole walked outside of the castle and into the grounds for a change. She normally spent her days indoors, mostly reading, but the weather was good and as her father often advised her, she should enjoy some outdoor activities. She first thought about visiting more professors and staff members. However, a glance at the creatures in the barnyard changed her directions.
Feeling slightly awkward due to the absence of a book around her, the Ravenclaw walked into the stables. She expected to see horses, maybe some unusually big ones or invisible ones too, but not this variety of creatures. There were fairies, nifflers, and even the mundane flobberworms amazed her. Nicole paused in front of a gated stable housing a cute furball. It was named Bubbily. She bent down with a smile and stared at the creature while it hummed, then uncertainly waved at it. She hoped it understood it as a friendly guesture.
She was frowning. Agatha was frowning. Good. Adi didn’t really care. He had a lot on his mind. He just glared at the girl who was always rude to him and only had the face to be civilised when she needed his help. Truth be told, Agatha was alarmed when she noticed Adi's hand was going for his wand, even if she didn't show it that much. If the boy used magic it would be the end of her. Agatha only fought the Muggle way, she was hopeless at magical duels.
The look on the Slytherin face changed drastically when she was taken by surprise as the fairies pulled her hair in all directions and tugged at her ear. At least they weren't big enough to hurt her, but still, that was REALLY annoying, especially when combined with Adi's laughter. "Quit it!" She swated at both creatures, shaking her head to get rid of them quicker. The girl sent a glare at the Hufflepuff, her hair all over the place. "Your stupid insects can't hurt me, Rehman." She said defiantly. "But I can hurt them." The Slytherin pulled out her wand, her eyes still fixed on the prefect.
Yes, that was a threat.

“Okay, Adi, you’ve had your fun,’’ that goody, goody voice in his head said. Ah, gosh. Couldn’t he for once be as mean as Agatha? Hmph. Apparently not. He straightened up though his lips were still twitching. “You don’t like a dose of your own medicine, huh, Agatha?”
Uh oh! When she swatted at the fairies, he had brushed against one- Ana. A brush must have felt like a punch to the tiny creature. Ana went shooting backwards much to Adi’s horror but she managed to get a grip on herself and was heading back to Agatha… who had her wand out.
“They’re NOT insects! Haven’t you learnt the difference between them and insects as yet?” But he wasn’t going to play with his fairies’ safety. “Guys, that’s enough. Leave her alone now.’’ Ana stuck her tongue out at Agatha while the other one simply turned her back on her. Both fairies made themselves comfortable back in his hair.
Adi didn’t know his fairies could be so defensive of him. Like AJ was… gosh. Here he went again, thinking of her. He looked back at Agatha. “Sorry. I’m just not myself, Agatha.’’ He knew she wouldn’t care for his apology but that was him. He felt bad for laughing at her and going off at her like that. “But I meant what I said about you always being rude.’’ Was she ALWAYS like that? As in since she was a kid?

In all honesty, Zander had really been neglecting his crup. Not that he didn't make visits or anything... But ever since, well, certain things happened and with the threat of OWLs approaching, visiting Azalea just wasn't one of his top priorities. And he definitely felt the shame. SO MUCH SHAME. Of course he tried to make the daily visits, but most of the time it was just to give her food, take her on a quick walk, and then put her back only to go back to his normal life again.

Maybe this was why his parents would never allow him a puppy? Ahem. Not that they knew that he had one or anything... But uh, y'know? Gotta do what you gotta do.

Where there were furry creatures concerned, and moreover invitations to visit said furry creatures, Amur was not one to dilly-dally. Except this time, she had. A trip to the kitchen to try to find a suitable treat for the crup puppy had her double-timing it down to the creature's housing in the hopes that she wouldn't be too late. How awful would it be if Zander got fed up waiting for her, and she didn't get to meet his cute ball of fluff?
While at the beginning of the year, Amur might have been huffing and puffing upon her arrival to the housing, today she was not. A year of running about Hogwarts, up and down stairs and around the grounds had either put her in good shape or her body in constant expectation and acceptance of exertion. Either way, she came at a quick walk into the housing building, her head going this way and that, occassionally popping up onto her tip-toes to see into the stalls and units.
It was about a third of the way down that her ears twitched upon hearing a familiar, if somewhat higher pitched, voice. Grinning broadly, Amur ran down the rest of the way and skidded to a stop in front of the open enclosure. The reaction was instantaenous. "Ooooooooooo!!!! Zander, she's adorable!!!!!"
And why yes she did want to pinch its jowls and receive many puppy kisses, thank-you-very-much. Which was what the big eyes and hopeful looks to Zander were for. As hard as it was to refrain, she knew better than to approach someone else's pet without permission.

Zander wasn't exactly sure as to when Amur was planning on showing up, but he wasn't all too worried. She was trustworthy, that Zander was sure about. Plus, she hadn't ever stood him up yet... So there was that too. Besides he had Azalea anyways so it wasn't like he was just standing around alone. That may have felt a bit awkward. But cruppies were the best company. A man's best friend, y'know?
And before he knew it, he heard a sound coming from behind. Must be Amur, he was sure of it. Everyone else had been spending a lot of time within the castle lately. Especially the Fifth Years, 'cause studying and all that. Which by the way, Zander was actually doing a lot of. Just needed a break every now and then. He wasn't a Ravenclaw, alright? Studying wasn't really his forte. Ahem. Right, back to the footsteps. Turning around he looked over at-- It WAS Amur. And Merlin, was she excited or what!?
"Do you want to hold her!?" Maybe Zander was a bit excited too. But CRUPPY you know? HIS OWN CRUPPY!? Heh. That was the best thing to say. "Or maybe we can teach her how to play fetch??" Azalea was awful at that. Ahem. "Or to do tricks?!" Or wait. Did she even know the crups name? Uh. "Oh uh, by the way... Amur this is Azalea but I sometimes call her Azal for short." Then looking at Azalea, because you know rude not to introduce the other way around too. Ahem. "And Azal, this is Amur. She's a first year," probably should stop with the cruppy voice, right?

Amur was practically vibrating on the spot, rising and falling on the balls of her heels as she held her hands out, wiggled her fingers and nodded to absolutely everything and anything he said. Hold? Yes. Fetch? Yes. Tricks? Yes. Even if she had to demonstrate, by carrying a stick in her mouth and running about on hands and feet, she would do it. Anything for cruppy time.
She felt like asking the boy if dragons were awesome, giant spiders terrifying and parents a random combination of both, but as it was her excitement seemed to have rendered her rather mute. Instead, she moved into the stall, inching closer and closer to Zander and his cruppy. She did her best to become stiller with each step. Merlin knew she didn't want to frighten the poor dog. Then again, the more excited you got, the more excited puppies seemed to get too, so it couldn't be so horrible, right?
"Azalea." Amur's attention finally went to Zander, her grin big. "It's a beautiful name." Who knew that boys could come up with good names?
She held out her hand for the crup puppy to sniff. "Did you choose it?" Had to ask. Just had to.

Zander could just tell how EXCITED she was. SEE, there was definitely some bouncing going on over here. Or um. Maybe that was just him? Ahem. Stopping, he was stopping now. Just never seemed to hit him, y'know? His very own cruppy. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that his parents hadn't a clue... That made it feel like he didn't really have one. It was a secret cruppy. But HIS secret cruppy. He was allowed to be excited still, okay? Just like how come couples have year long "honeymoon" phases. This was like the crup version of that. Totally.
Azalea was his very own. YUP. And he gave her a proud beam as he nodded his head firmly. YEAH it was all his idea. Mhm. Who would've thought, Zander Adair... Naming something all on his own. A ridiculous idea. Pft. "It erm.. Took a while to come up with though," just so she knew that he wasn't a natural namer. "I sort of called her 'noname' for the first two weeks." AHEM. Totally blushin about it too. Oops. BUT he had decided to undertake OWL studies very early on in the term first time for everything, right? and happened to come across the brilliant name in his herbology book.
So win-win.

But somehow, somehow by some miraculous design, she managed to stop just in front of the both of them and not accost the puppy with all the love an eleven-year-old could give. She giggled a little bit when it's wet nose sniffed her hand and then her hand received some very loving, but slimy puppy kisses.
"What does it mean?" She looked up at Zander as she chanced bending a little bit closer to the puppy. Maybe if she got puppy kisses, then that would mean it would be okay to give them back to the squirming ball of fur? "Her name?"
Didn't matter how long it took to come up with in her opinion. A good name is a good name, period. And Azalea was such a beautiful name. Amur giggled. "I bet your way, way way future kids will have really good names. Once you are done numbering them to keep track of them, until you find a name for them, that is."
She grinned broadly. Kids shouldn't talk about having kids in her books, but in this case it seemed okay. It was okay to talk about names and naming people. Because some people just couldn't do it. At all. Take it as a compliment Mr. Adair.

Zander watched as Amur inched closer and closer towards the crup, grinning stupidly at her all the while. The way she approached Azalea with such care. It was admirable. Or maybe it was just something that the likes of Puck would deem as 'adorabe'? Either way, Zander was amused. And also impressed with how well Amur and Azalea were getting along. Actually, Azalea was so playful that it was probably a good mix. Merlin, if only he had thought to introduce her to first years at the beginning of term, right!? Could've solved the whole 'too-much-energy' problem right away! Of course, Zander was always there... But studying y'know? Took away from crup time.
He only took his eyes off Azalea (who was currently being very cute mhm) to look down at Amur once more. He tilted his head, as he again smiled proudly. "An azalea is a type of flower," kind of like Lottie's name was Lotus. Also a flower. "They're pink and grow on these great bushes." He really did like Herbology, was that much obvious? "And the flower itself means passion... And I figured since she's kind of a little fireball... It just fit, y'know?" Or well, it fit in his head when he thought of it. Or erm, read it. Then thought of it? That counted, right?
Again, he glanced down at Azal to make sure she was alright... A bit over protective, he was. Ahem. But at the mention of future kids, Zander looked up (again) to give Amur the strangest little look. Kids?? Merlin. First let him pass his OWLs and then maybe then talk of children or something. But first the most important things. Like exams. He didn't even want to think about tomorrow morning's breakfast options, let alone his future child. "Or er... I could let my wife name them... Because I don't fancy having kids named 'one' and 'two'." O____O WIFE?! Uh.
.... Moving on....
Merlin. First children. And then a dancing-show dog. Amur, these ideas are even crazier than eating bugs and doing spit promises. And Zander was stuck between finding them funny and just plain concerning. But he chuckled instead because it seemed like the right thing to do... Maybe? "Uh, I don't want to lose her if we play hide-and-seek... and Azalea's got way to much energy and not enough patience for a show-dog," also Zander would never make Azal go through that kind of torture. Ahem. "Maybe we could just play fetch?" Only uh, one complication...
"I reckon we've got to teach her how though, since we've never played before." Ahem. There was that. Zander did set her on the ground though, just to see whether she'd try to run up to Amur and all that. Probably liked her with all that puppy love licks going on and everything.
