High up in the top-most reaches of the Castle is a tower dedicated to Ravenclaw House. You come across the entrance in the form of a door on the 7th floor without a doorknob or a keyhole but a bronze knocker shaped like the head of an eagle. If, and only if, you answer the riddle that the eagle presents you correctly, you may gain entrance to the Ravenclaw Common Room. Hey, there's a reason that Ravenclaw is the house for those with brains.
Upon entering the Common Room you see a number of things but mostly you see the floor to ceiling windows that span around the airy, wide and circular room. Beyond their panes you can see what looks like all of Hogwarts' campus and the majestic mountain range beyond. One sweeping look through them and you can see the Forbidden Forest, Quidditch Pitch, The Greenhouses, the Black Lake, and even the shimmering light from the windows in Hogsmeade. At nighttime, the glass reveals the starry night beyond. The walls are covered in blue and bronze silk hangings and the midnight blue carpet covering the floor is decorated with stars just as the domed ceiling.
Placed on the centre of the curved wall is a large fireplace with plenty of navy blue sofas and armchairs placed around it as well as a few book cases and tables. They are there for students to lounge at, as they work on homework, socialize or just relax and enjoy the view between lessons. On a crowded night in the common room the fire place is a good meeting spot if you want to find someone to engage in a rowdy game of Gobstones or plan a party with.
Along the wall you entered there is the Announcements Board where all things will be posted regarding school events, lessons, and homework as well as the Study Tables that are provided for a more structured setting for Ravenclaws to do what Ravenclaws do best. The Grey Lady, the House ghost of Ravenclaw tends to visit this spot especially every now and then. And last but not least, to the right of where the impressive statue of Rowena Ravenclaw herself stands, is the staircase leading to the dormitories. Once you ascend these stairs, going to the right will take you to the ones allotted for the girls and the left will lead you to the ones reserved for the boys. Come in, relax, have fun and make yourselves at home.
Should he tell her? Well, there wasn't any harm in exciting a young girl. He glanced around, to make it more dramatic, and lowered his voice. "Rumor has it, that there's a room, that will change to your needs. But no one knows where it is." He wasn't going to mention that he himself didn't know. He had a general guess to where the room was, but he wasn't sure the exact location. He guessed he didn't have much of a need for it in the first place. But maybe the need to show this girl where it is will be enough for the room to show itself.
He thought to himself for a moment at the young one's next question. Where was his favorite place to explore? That was a hard one. There was always the kitchen, that had warm food and rude house elves. But there was also the stairs that moved to new locations, and just staying on one of those for long enough was fun. Especially when you didn't know where you ended up. "I would say..." He began. "That my favorite place to explore would be the grounds. It's not that the lake isn't fun, it's just that all there is is the lake. But if you wonder around the grounds, or along the forbidden forest, you'll find some awesome things."
Was he telling her something secret? He was leaning in like the firstie was about to learn something she shouldn't know, which made her heart flutter even more. Knowledge was a fun thing to have, and knowledge about things such as places to explore was the exact thing Ophelia was looking for. Pushing a few strands of her loose blonde strands behind her left ear, the girl listened in closer.
A room that gave you anything you wanted? Sounded awesome! She could have video games, or candy! A whole room full of candy! That sounded amazing! But first, they would have to find the room. And the first year didn't know the castle well enough to actually find the room by herself yet. So it might be time to work out a proposal between the two. A temporary alliance, per say, something to benefit them both. Except less like they were in one of those old game shows and more like two people attempting to find a lost treasure. The first way sounded so vicious.
"What if we scour the castle together? You're smart and I'm a good explorer. You've been here for two years now, you had to catch SOME glimpse of the room." Pause for effect. Yeah, the eleven year old saw what he did there and was now emulating it. He wasn't the ooooonnnnnllly one who could play dramatic. Her brown eyes took two loooooooonnnng glances around the room to waste time.
"That is, if you're not afraid of a firstie finding it first." A small smirk crossed her face now, one that showed that she knew what she was doing. Of course, Ophelia had the information from her sisters and brothers ABOUT the room, but no one caught a glimpse of where it was since they've been in Hogwarts. Or if they had, they hadn't told her. It might be time to get a letter going out to ask about this "room."
And wandering the grounds sounded really fun. Especially when the seasons started changing. Maybe she'd set aside time to explore the whole entire grounds instead of just sections of it at a time. Probably be easy though. Also, another question.
"What KIND of stuff do you see? Giant spiders? Because I need to know I'm getting my money's worth here." Weird muggle expressions. But it was true. And maybe hearing about all of the cool things on the grounds would be like inspiration to her.

Eden was torn. WAS she sure? She eyed the kisses--and she siiiiiiighed. "SHARE with me..but you can keep the bag whatever we don't eat." THERE. Problem solved. She held out her hands for some KISSSSIES. They were sooo nommy, hmmm!
Justine's advice seemed so nice and lovely and made Eden feel smart. And warm and fuzzzzzzy. FUZZY. Like a teddy--but she shook her head to get her thoughts back on track. MERLIN. "I know. Just need to...have FAITH in myself. " She admitted. "I feel like that's my main problem with everything." Not having confidence in herself. It actually made her frown a bit, and she tucked some hair behind her ear. She just thought it was hard...when surrounded by people who were really smart..and beautiful...and stuff.
HAHAHAHAHA
Eden broke into gasping laughter--MERLIN--she eyed Justine's hands. "You 'aven't chopped them off yet--" she mocked her accent, but really butchered it, and giggled a lot. "I love the accent so much--" better than her dumb Irish one.
Annnnd that. Ahem. "I think it's working. He hasn't bothered me in AWHILE. And I don't think he shows up to classes a lot." She could only imagine what he did with his free time. -___-
Justine raised a thick eyebrow, her lips tugging upward with amusement. Eden was so sincere, and funny, and cute. Look at her, holding out her hands expecting Justine to easily give back these tasty candies. ".... No, I zink I'll keep zem all." She said, smirking playfully at the younger girl and eating yet another chocolate kiss.
Confidence was never a problem Justine had faced - except if you counted being overtly confident - she had always been very self-assured, always known her worth, so it was hard for her to really understand Eden's problem. Nevertheless, she felt a smidgen empathetic. "Confidence is tricky, ether you 'ave it or you don't. If you don't you can always fake it." Justine said, smiling almost ironically. Justine knew plenty about faking thing; from her accent, to hiding away her feelings, she was an expert. "If you pretend to be confident, you vill be."
Was Eden picking on her accent? And doing an absolutely horrible job? Despite herself, Justine was genuinely amused and the Ravenclaw lightheartedly laughed. "I resent zat!" She joked, her tanned hand reaching up to lightly cover her mouth. "My accent sounds nothing like zat." She said, haughtily drawing herself and clearing her throat.
"Lucky you." Justine said, frowning with exasperation as she thought on their common tormentor. "No, it's not 'is zing... Zankfully.... You're not really into girls, so, vat about boys?" Justine added, her eyes sparkling playfully as she questioned the sweet, pretty young girl on her love life.

Eden made a face. EXCUSE ME? She wouldn't SHARE? Eden browed the older girl. "You have to share because I gave them to you. So be a doll and SHARE--" she said, her tone clearly insinuating she would take a kiss in a few seconds if the sharing didn't COMMENCE.
Ummm.
She had never gotten that advice before. Fake it? She just nodded and listened. Fake it...she didn't even know how to fake it. She was a terrible actress? "I--um--okay." She wanted real confidence though. Justine suggested that faking it would LEAD to real confidence--okay. She wondered what Vinnie would think of this advice. Hmmm. "I'll have to try it sometime." With Connor as a test run or something like that.
HA. Eden got a smirk from the Frenchie. Gosh, why was Justine BEAUTIFUL? Were all the seventh year 'claws model material? Apparently. "I know. I am terrible at accents--my Irish is toot thick--" she chuckled and swept some hair from her eyes, shifting her position....and still eyeing those chocolates. She made a quick decision--
HIYAH!
And she snatched a piece from the bag and giggled as she unwrapped it and popped it into her mouth. HA, Justine. She-who-did-not-share.
"Ah. I think he's in love with you or something. He seems to be, at least." She said with a nod as she chewed. "I haven't seen him in a few days, though--" thank MERLIN. "Didn't you accompany him to lake the other day?" Justine got BROWS for this because the action needed some explanation.

Excitement glossed over the second year's eyes. Was that a challenge he heard? A firstie was challenging his talents? He had spent all of his free time last term looking for this Room, and there was no way a simple firstie was going to find it before him. "Afraid? Me? Merlin's beard no." There was no way she was going to get under his skin. He mimicked her smirk. Maybe she was going to be valuable in finding what he was looking for. For now. "Alright First Year. You can help me. I have in fact caught glimpses of it. Late at night, when I come back from wondering, I pass by this wall just outside of here. I can usually see a door out of the corner of my eye, but when I turn around, there isn't a door there." It was like the door was watching him, yet didn't want to be seen.
"Trust me. You are getting your money's worth. There are giant spiders, giant squids, centaurs, mermaids, literally any creature you could think of either hides out in the forest or in the lake." He really wished he could see a centaur. They were his favorite magical creature, ever since he was little. His mother told him stories about how she had befriended one, and was able to gather her tail hairs for potion purposes. But he himself had never seen one.

Oh, he was smirking now? This was a thing they were doing? Because anything he could do, she could match. And no, the blonde wasn't teh least bit intimidated by that smirk. He was like a twelve year old puppy. NOT scary. Just to show him how intimidating she could be, she smirked harder, looking into his eyes to make sure he felt it. And a second year was calling her first year? Exscuse me? What train did he step off exactly, because he must've came to the wrong place at the wrong time. Sorry kid, she didn't put up with that. Except from teachers. And everybody else. But this was irrelevant! Because right now, there was little bit of playing to do, and that involved sassing him right back. He called him a first ear? She'd call him kid. Sorry, but you didn't mess with a kid like Ophelia. Unless you were her sbilings. But they got a special family pass so yeah. Okay, that was a really long metaphor, she would have to work on that.
"So GLAD I could be of service. So second year..." Because that was how she was adressing him now, thank you very much.... " since you saw the door before, where do we start looking? Because you saw the room before and I obviously had no idea what I'm doing." That's right. she was going at it. Unless this was too much. Sorry in advance if it was too much, second year, because she wasn't trying to be mean. She was trying to be sassy. There was a difference. "Or do you want to go to the lake first?" And to tell the truth, the last part wasn't sarcasm. She was inviting him to go adventuring with her. He WAS the one who mentioned the lake and the room, so by rights, he should get to go along too. Unless he became annoying. Then the first year was ditching him somewhere and running back to the castle. But he didn't seem annoying at all. He actually seemed pretty cool. Besides the sass.
Also, now HE was excited. Must be an explorer thing. She finally found another one!

This was a feisty first year, and he loved it. It was nice having someone who put up with his sarcasm and sass. There weren't many people who would, his mom included. Anyways, there were more matters to attend to. Like how this first year was sassing him right back. Weren't you supposed to respect your elders? Now, yes, he wasn't an elder per say... but he was older, which should give him some sort of rights here.
Second year? So that's how it was going to be? "Well, First Year, it is getting late out, so we'd be out when it gets dark out." He glanced her way, giving her a look that showed he meant business. "But if that's too scary for you, we can stay in the safe castle and find this mysterious room. I'm game for anything." He smirked and raised an eyebrow. He was ready for any sort of adventuring that was going to go on. He hadn't been adventuring much this term, and he was itching to get out there. Most of the castle and grounds were probably the same from last term, but he was positive that things have changed. There had to be something.
Sorry if I went too far again, but this sassing thing is amazing

He was calling her First Year again? He was playing it like that? He was asking for it. Sorry kid, but she was about to own it. Also, scared? Really? She'd been out walking around the woods in pitch dark before and it barely scared her. And Ophelia had been like eight at the time too. So, she wasn't scared. Okay, maybe a little, but it was anxiousness. Like discovering a new place. And with a feisty second year who the blonde would take great pleasure in sassing some more, thank you very much.
"Scared? Did you hit your head Second Year, because this egg doesn't crack! I'm not afraid of anything!" Except spiders and math and china dolls. The last one was legitimate though. Those things were freeeeaaaky. Also, on the subject of sass, names, and adventuring.....
"And the First Year DOES have a name she's very fond of. Ophelia, but YOU can call me 'Ophie. Please and thank you Second Year." She raised an eyebrow and smiled, daring him to sass her further. At least in her mind she was being awesome. According to him, she might be a complete idiot with no sense of manners. That would be awful, because this guy was pretty cool. Standing up, she brushed off any dust and looked him in his extremely blue eyes. Dang, those were blue!
"Ready to go outside, or would you like to bring a teddy bear along?"

"Ready to go outside, or would you like to bring a teddy bear along?"
Ophelia. That was a seriously strange name. Strange, but beautiful. No, strange. Definitely strange. "We'll see just how well that egg stays together." This First Year had some serious sass! Who did she think she was? She was a new student, who hardly knew her way around the castle. She probably spent the first week getting lost on the moving staircases, or distracted by the paintings that moved and talked.
He stood up, put his hands in his pockets, and leaned over, close to the first year. He had a serious look as he glared into her eyes. His voice was low as he spoke. "Everyone's afraid of something." He paused for a moment, to keep the suspense alive. Because he was right. Everyone was afraid of something. At least that's what he told himself as he spent his days searching for something to be afraid of. As of right now, there wasn't anything Austin was afraid of. He spent all last year trying to be afraid, but there really wasn't anything, which was surprising to him, because he did some crazy stuff.
He popped up, the excitement back in his eyes. "Austin." Teddy Bear? He didn't even own a teddy bear! "Excuse you Ophie. But this Second Year doesn't own anything of the like. But if you would like to run up and grab yours real quick, I'll be sure to wait for you." He smirked right back at her.

For a second, Ophelia was lost for words. And that almost never happened. He was GOOD at this whole sass thing! Not that she'd ever tell HIM this, but whatever. The kid could admit when she was evenly matched, and she was. This time. When the shorter girl knew him better, then she would be able to bring the sass harder. Except, she felt like she was doing a pretty good job now. It took a second for her to collect her thoughts, and quickly, the blonde formulated something else to say.
"Sorry, this egg isn't breakable. I'm tougher than you think, Austin." Yes, she finally used his name, but somehow it was done in a feisty way. Flipping her blonde waves over her now pale shoulder --she needed to get some sun, darn it-- 'Ophie continued.
"And if everyone's scared of something, then what are YOU afraid of? Or are you one of those boys who thinks' they're the bravest thing ever and then goes running when they see their own shadow?" Crossed arms over chest and raised eyebrow for effect. Yep, she was back in the game. And the eleven year old played hard.
Annnnd then blue-eyes was standing close. Not that she minded. But wow. Personal space here? Also, HER? Have something like a TEDDY BEAR? Hah! Ophelia was too tough for that! You didn't get the lions necklace she was wearing for being a coward! And she would show him how uncowardly she was. Because for some reason, it was now important to her to show how brave she could actually be. Looking him up and down with her deep brown eyes, Ophelia smiled.
"Well then, if you think you can live without the bear, we better go. Unless you want to stay inside and look at the moving pictures for the rest of the night."

He would have to agree with her on this one. She did seem tough alright. But he was sure that when it came down to it, she would be running for the hills, or hiding behind him. "We'll see about that. If you ever need to hold my hand, all you have to do is ask." She would have to ask though. It would give him the satisfaction that he was right. Which he was. She would be afraid soon enough. The grounds at night were scary enough to freak out the toughest of first years. Not him though.
"Shadows are scary, especially at night." He glanced over to the first year with a sly look in his eyes. Then picked up his bag, and slung it over his shoulder. "But in all honesty, I'm not afraid of anything. Nothing alive could scare me." Trust him, he's tried. Austin was loving this girl. She was a big ball of sass packed in a small body. This wasn't something he'd ever tell her, but he was having trouble keeping up with this girl. There was energy in her, that was for sure, and Austin was excited to actually have a challenge for his sass.
"Moving pictures are normal for me, I'll have you know." He was insulted that she even brought up the idea of staying here. There was nothing he'd rather do than go out exploring. And now he had a friend to take with him. It was nice not being alone. "Let's go then, Firstie." He smirked and hopped out of the portrait.
Hhahahahahahaha. Look at Eden's little face, it was hilarious how annoyed she was, absolutely hilarious, however, Justine didn't show her amusement right out, she only smirked a little, looking like a cat with a secret, all the while she was cackling in her own head. She made no move to share, instead, she ate eat another chocolate and said nothing.
Justine smiled sympathetically as Eden uncertainly accepted her advice. “Vhy are you vorried about being confident anyway? Any special reason?” Justine teased, unable to help herself. It was just too easy to mess with Eden, and Justine lived to tease and troll those around her, which naturally made McGee an excellent candidate.
She giggled. “It is a bit thick, but it suits you.” It was a compliment, even if it didn’t exactly sound like it. Eden’s thick Irish accent was cute and added something special to the girl. Wait, why was she acting all… Shifty, what-
A second later Justine was a chocolate kiss short of a full bag and none too pleased by the sudden and unwelcomed theft. “Vous aurez ŕ payer pour cela, McGee.” Justine said, her bright eyes glittering deviously. It wouldn’t be now, but soon….
“Tch, vatever zee case is, I don’t appreciate it. ‘e isn’t my type.” Justine said, still pouting, though her expression shifted at Eden’s next words to a look of mild surprise. “ ‘Ow did you know about zat?” She asked, frowning slightly. Was Eden following her or something? That was rather flattering.. In a slightly creepy way.

Eden sighed. "Because. Boys. BOYS like confidence, right?" she asked, looking over at her desperately. Justine was older. Wiser. Probably a LOT cooler than Eden(not hard), and very..Eden didn't know, but the girl just seemed to have it all together. And it made her hot! Eden wanted to feel like that! She was hardly able to look at herself sometimes..."And I mean..I don't want to seem all glum for the rest of my life."
Heh...Justine liked her accent. That made the girl beaaaam. "I thought people would think I sounded...dumb or something. " She and Layla had had this discussion. Layla's accent was thick and not really proper, too. Eden was a bit more understandable, actually. "Not as suave as yours, though, Miss Janvier--" she grinned and tucked some of her hair behind her ear.
HEHEHEHEHEHEHE
Eden was practically cackling away to herself, covering her chewing mouth with her hand as she slapped her knee with the other. "YOUR FACE, JUSTINE!" ha! Eden had gotten her back and--wow. So worth it. "You look SHOCKED. I'm not as innocent as I SEEM--" and she stuck out her tongue and then flipped her hair all SASSY like. Fake sassy, though. Eden wasn't much sassy...HEADTILT. "WhaT? I don't speak Freeeench, Justine--" she reminded her.
And more giggling from the Irish girl. "Because I'm always by the lake...and I saw you two.." Ahem. She wouldn't mention anything else because...HEH. They might get into trouble or something if anyone was LISTENING.

Jasmine had come downstairs from her dorm room. She had retrieved the fairy food and was ready to tend to her girls. Fortunately, the Common Room was nearly empty so she found a seat in the corner and sat down. Taking her bottle of food, she opened it and then placed it on the table next to her. Picking up her jar, Jasmine opened it carefully and quickly shook some food sprinkles inside. The fairies were getting better at not trying to dash out of the jar. Just in case though, Jasmine closed it before they could get any ideas about escaping.
Jasmine watched as the fairies ate and danced happily in the jar. She felt kind of guilty holding them captive in the jar. Hopefully they would be allowed to go free after their week in a foster home. While Jasmine enjoyed having them around for company, somehow it didn't seem right. Now that the fairies had eaten, it was time for them to have a little exercise. Another change of venue was in order because Jasmine wasn't quite ready to turn them loose in the Common Room.

Eagles in their natural habitat. A convocation of eagles. Her people. Well MOST of them. She wasn't sure she was willing to be associated with ALL of them JUST yet. Like that Thorton kid, he'd defended crazy Flamsteed during the epic food battle and Maddie was STILL questioning that. JUST saying.
Stepping into the common room, the second year found a place in the corner where she went unnoticed by those reading, talking, and relaxing around her. It was like she was invisible-she really DID wish she had a cloak for that-and she was used to the feeling.
Holding up the camera, the brunette stood on her tippy toes and held it above her head, trying to get as much of the room in the picture as she could. She then carefully clicked the button before lowering the camera again, retrieving the picture when it emerged.
She'd done well, having captured several older claws in the middle of conversation about boys or SOMETHING uninteresting. She'd also caught someone she wasn't familiar with studying and another few sitting by the fire. All in all, she'd done well. It was a portrait of her housemates, one that wasn't staged. Those were the best kind of pictures.
*TAP* "Alacer." And then they were brought to life, moving as they were when she looked back up from the picture. They seemed content and it made Maddie feel content too.

It was time to clean the fairies' jar again. When Jasmine arrived at the Common Room, she found a seat in a quiet corner and sat down. Lifting her jar so she could see her fairies, she began to talk to them. "It's time to change your jar so I can clean it. Are you ready?".
She took her clean jar out of her bag and opened it. Then she opened the dirty jar and let the dairies out. They were used to the routine now and knew to stay close by. Jasmine kept one eye on them and the other on what she was doing. While the fairies got a quick bit of exercise, she tended to their "home"
Jasmine took out her wand and directed it toward the dirty jar. "Scourgify", she said. After the jar was cleaned, she repeated the process and cleaned the lid. Once that was done, Jasmine turned her attention to the fairies. "Alright ladies, it's time to go back home now." Picking up the second jar, she held it up and directed the fairies back into it. When they were settled inside, Jasmine replaced the lid. Setting the jar on the table, she sat back in the chair and took a moment to rest.

SMH.
Even though he'd embarrassed himself in the Creatures lesson, Gabriel Banner was still completing his homework; dutiful student that he was. It wasn't about points...or anything stupid and lame like that, of course...but he had to do this. Peace of mind, you know?
His.....issues...couldn't be allowed to keep him from learning things...and that's what he really cared about. Learning. What if the steps for fairy care were on his OWLs...Or, most importantly...his NEWTs?!
No, Gabe still had to do...what he had to do. Simple as that. He'd even....procured a fairy by questionable means for the occasion. It wasn't a big deal. This was IMPORTANT...and had it not been so IMPORTANT, he wouldn't have bothered.
Anyway, that's what brought him here...learning and familiarizing himself...with his fairy.
His fairy? Gabe felt like a bleeding girl.
"You....look weird." His face was pressed against the glass of the jar...and they were staring each other down.

Her fairy jar in one hand and the food jar in the other, Coral stepped lightly down into the common room.
She held on tightly to the jar, not wanting to drop it or jostle it too much as there was a living creature inside, the girl gave it several good looks. Obviously, as it was lower than her head, she couldn't exactly see much more than the top of it for now.
This would probably be easier if she had the food jar in her bag. So, she placed the fairy jar down on the nearest table and quickly slipped the food jar into her bag.
Looking up from putting her things away was when she finally noticed him. Picking her jar back up and giving her fairy a rather large grin and a tiny little wave she looked over at Gabe. "Hi." she said softly.

INTERAL FLAILING.
.
.
Gabe's attention was diverted from the jar (and his fairy) when CB sat down beside him. She looked so.....pretty? today...and....when she grinned like that, becillause her....erm, dimples?
Flushing brilliantly, he tilted back...and then prompted fell OFF the couch.
OOOUF!
His jar (containing the fairy) was just on the edge of the table and the fairy within was now looking down at him, eyes BUGGING and almost too big for it's face. It was judging him. Gabe could feel it from his spot on the floor...and not to mention, CB had just seen him fall.....and he was shaking...
What even?
"Hello......."...and that fairy was still staring at him. It was weird...WHY was it staring at him?!

Pulling silly faces at her fairy was what she had taken to....
Before......
Gabe fell.
She flinched as she hit the ground and scolded her fairy for laughing. S'CUSE YOU, FAIRY FRIEND. Tucking some hair behind her ear, she leaned forward and looked him over, obviously concerned for him. "Are you okay?" Also. Is your fairy okay?
Moving her fairy's jar to the table, still giving the little creature her best scolding face, she offered him her hand. Whichshekindareallyhopedhe'dtake. Her eyebrows were still furrowed in concern, as she looked down at him.
He wasn't going to be stubborn and stay there, was he?

Nope. He could just stay there on the floor, K? Thanks.
...or....maybe not? CB was...looking at him in that weird way, again...and.....okay. Gabe reached out and took her hand, not really being able to help himself...tucking his feet under himself to push back up. He was shaky at first...but then set his mind towards another task. If he could focus on something else....he'd forget she was there...Yea, that could work. He needed to...uh, feed this....erm, HIS fairy....anyway.
Partial!scowl.
His...
"................Thanks."
Determined to get this done...Gabe cracked his notebook open to jot down the time.

Putting down the quill, he went about getting the pouch with the fairy feed in it. As soon as he opened this jar, the fairy would ditch him. Gabe just knew it...So...he had his wand ready. He WOULD Immobulus this thing...if it tried to fly off.
......No one had to know....
Twisting off the lid, he dropped a bit of it down into the jar...

He grabbed her hand. Improvement, okay? She was pretty pleased with herself and also him. Trying her very best not to blush or smile too much, the girl took her hand back and picked up the fairy jar, no longer being able to scowl at the little one as her tiny grin would make her seem less serious about it.
"You're welcome."
Back to the task at hand.
CB slipped her hand into her bag, pulling out the food jar and reading the instructions.
Alright. So she obviously had to feed it and clean it's jar and let it out for some brief exercise. Deciding she was going to let it out first for some exercise, the unscrewed the cap on the jar and waited for the little one to climb out.
She took her eyes off of the fairy briefly, to see what Gabe was doing.

Gabriel really hadn't known how much to give...but it was a liberal amoun. Apparently, that had been too much, because even though the fairy had began eating at once, when it was finished (or...at least Gabe thought it was finished), a good third was left over.
Okay. He'd make a mental note of that for next time.
Side-glancing CB...completely on the sneak...though it probably wasn't that sneaky at all, Gabe seen her releasing her own fairy. He blinked......being reminded that they WERE supposed to give the fairies some freedom. WHAT IF THEY FLEW OFF, THOUGH?!...Not knowing how to combat this in a logical 'spell induced' way, he simply continued holding his wand. Immobulus. If he needed to freeze the fairy and put it back in the jar, that'd have to be okay...
The fairy flew up and out of the jar...but didn't fly off. It slowly approached him, instead...and Gabe inhale a sharp breath. What was it doing?!
He nervously looked to CB.
What should I do?!

The Piper sat underneath a window staring out onto the ground, rolling his flute in his hand.
He thought, briefly, that he might throw it out the window, but something inside restrained him. His green hood down, he stared forlornly out the window.
What was this place, that his flute would just not work?

When the fairy leaned forward and rubbed its face against Gabe's, he shuddered and JERKED BACK. What was this?! WHY WAS IT DOING THAT?! He quickly shoo'd it away...towards CB's fairy...and...didn't look at CB....because.........Well, he was sure his face resembled a tomato.
Were all fairies girls? Because GIRLS enjoyed being the BAIN of his existance!...and he felt strange about this creature rubbing against his face, too. That was.....just.....Well....Gabriel didn't know WHAT it was.
SERIOUSLY. SHOO, though, fairy. If it wanted its...jar cleaned up, it needed to be OUT of it for a bit. Killing two birds with one stone and all that, you know...
Also, busying himself with this task...another great distraction. In fact, he'd almost forgot CB was even sitting there...almost. But to cleaning things...That was a must, apparently. Gabe seen it's logic and didn't complain...because any setient being wouldn't have wanted to live in its own filth.
Not having to actually take anything out of the jar, he used his wand to scourgify things...Even the left over pile of food.....and then another pile of something that Gabe didn't really want to identity. It smelled..................odd. Yep, he didn't want to know.
After adjusting it's miniture trees, because he'd been thoughtful in the construction fo the jar, he opened it back up to the fairy. Okay. Back in now. IN.
It took several LONG moments.....and Gabriel STARING at it....but it did finally make its way back into the jar. GOOD! Immobulus hadn't needed to be used in this case....because he was on the verge of doing so. It'd almost happened.

And so she did bring her fairies down to the common room. They seemed to like exploring her dormitory well enough - they took a special interest in CB's bed, and she assumed they smelled all the flowers that had once covered the girl's bedding - but she wanted to see how they would be around more people. So, corralling them out of the common room, jar in hand but without the fairies in them, Soph led the way down the staircase, the fairies following right above her shoulders, and...
Oh. There was CB. With Gabe.
HEHEHEHEHEHEH.
The most amused of smiles on her face, Soph realized they, too, were taking care of their fairies. But... what kind of friend would Soph be if she interrupted those two right now? Not a good one, she thought, so... thinking fast, Soph stopped halfway down the staircase and addressed her fairies, "Hey, Lily? Zelda? You hungry?"
She pulled the little container of food from deep within her pocket and sprinkled some inside the jar, and without the slightest of hesitation, the two fairies were in her jar. That was pretty cool, wasn't it? She felt a little bad, though, because they must've been pretty hungry, so Soph sprinkled a little more in the jar over their heads before lightly placing the lid on the jar so they couldn't go bother Gabe and CB.
Oh, the things she did for friendship.
Offering the pair a polite wave of acknowledgement as she passed, her fairy jar in hand, Soph made her way out of the common room.
