Angel suddenly heard something heavy outside the door. "Professor an earthquake wants to get in." Angel wasn't sure why but it sounded like it was something large. "Professor are we expecting a call from the police?" Angel was sure someone was banging something heavy against the door... was it a raid? |
Her head jerked back in surprise at the super LOUD knocking. AJ was thinking the same thing as her sister. The only people who she knew that knocked that loud were the police. Besides, there was a freaking class going on. RUUUUDE. AJ really didn't care about the interruption though. This had been the most exciting thing to happen all class. "Ohh, can I get the door, professor?" Didn't want to keep the guests waiting, and AJ could totally go for some entertainment right about now. She was about to smack her head on the table and fall right to sleep. Yeah, she heard the older lion asking to get the door, but she REALLY wanted to open it. Pretty please. |
o_O What in Merlin's beard was going on?! Hearing the LOUD banging at the door, Lux stared at it nervously. That Gryffindor chatterbox (Zahra) was offering to open the door, but that didn't sound like a great idea to her. Whatever was on the other side sounded large or as if they were carrying a battering ram. Nervously, she wondered what Professor Culloden was going to do to handle the situation. |
Red was startled from her hair-braiding reverie by the sudden pounding on the door. What was it? Or... whooooooooo was it? People were offering to answer the door, and asking dumb questions, and and and... didn't they KNOW who knocked like that? Wolves. Big bad ones. With big teeth and angry eyebrows and paws like dinner plates and and... Red was taking deep breathes and trying to talk herself out of sinking under her desk. Nope. Nope. She jumped up on top of her chair and pointed a quivering finger at the door. "BIG BAD WOLF!" |
Ian was soooo looking forward to the class being over. He listened to the other students as they answered. He was starting to drift off when he was startled to hear loud booms at the door. What in Merlin's beard! Ian didn't want nothing getting in the way of him escaping this class. Hopefully it wasn't nothing bad. |
SPOILER!!: Mr. Angry Troll! As Kace was busy doodling in his notebook since he already said his answer, he jumped in his seat when he heard a big boom at the door. Merlin's beard felt his heart and it was beating rather fast. That scared him soo bad. He gave the door and the professor a quizzical look. Did he expect a visitor? Or.... Did the troll from the dungeons escape!? That was the worst case scenario! He hoped it wasn't his second option. He heard the growl from the troll from the door since he was quite close to it. "Professor I think you have a visitor..." he said. |
Marigold's mouth slid ajar as she kept her arm raised, but looking at the door, from the other side of which it sounded like someone was knocking. Very loudly. Her concentration completely lost, she said vaguely, "Sometimes... venomfromthings... can..do stuff...and...be...poisonous..?" She kept her arm in the air for a good minute after she said her answer, looking at the door, before coming to her senses and dropping her arm, only after looking at the professor with a quizzical look. |
.............................. WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN?! Grayson, who had been fiddling with his quill, found himself jumping at the sudden sound and then staring at the closed door. WHAT?! Who needed to be thumping the door that hard? JEEZ, some people were trying to LEARN something here. HELLO?! Couldn't they come back AFTER the lesson was over? Or couldn't they knock properly? Why'd they have to knock so loudly that it seemed as though they were threatening to break down the door? And then he heard Lex's words. Or one word stuck out to him in particular. Visitors. Blue eyes landed on Culloden. WAS he expecting visitors? Not that he'd mind, so to say. Either way, they were lesson time and the fifth year wasn't sure how to feel about that. FAVOURITE lesson. A lesson that was close to finishing. 'Big bad wolf' No. Just no. He wouldn't be surprised if Hogwarts did have a big bad wolf but NO. Not believing that. |
.............................. What on Earth...? Toby jumped, shaken out of his usual distracted reverie at the sound of all that LOUD BOOMING. He didn't have a clue what was happening, couldn't really logically process in his head, and just turned in his to STARE wide-eyed at the door. What? |
Adi was just finishing up on his notes from the previous question when came the deafening knocks. O___O Er... what? Who was banging on the door like that? And WHY were Zarah and AJ volunteering to open the door? Adi threw AJ a look. He hoped it passed on the message: Are you crazy? Clearly that was not a regular person at the door. |
BOOM BOOM BOOOOOOM Where were those Billy Goats he wanted to eat them up. Hitting the door once more it crashed to the ground and the Troll looked around the door way. "I'm coming to Gobble you up." The Troll slammed his feet down as he moved into the room. BOOM BOOM BOOOOM |
Ian heard more hangings and they sounded more insistent. All of a sudden, the door crashed in and Ian stared in shock as ....WHAAAA! TROLLLLLLLL! |
Troll in the dungeon... thought you ought to know. :P What the... He wanted to gobble them up? Gulp. "On second thought, she can open the door," AJ said as she pointed at Zarah No need to get gobbled up by whatever was behind the door. AJ caught Adi's look, and he didn't have to worry about her because she was not opening that blasted door. Not that it mattered because before long the door was completely knocked down. A troll? Without thinking the second year jumped out of her seat and clung to Adi. Two wands were better than one. |

Angel suddenly saw the door on the floor and then heard AJ say that the other girl could get the door... there was no need now anyway, the door was on the floor and something was getting in. O____________________o Troll. Angel jumped up "At first I was afraid, I was petrified." Angel started to say. "Go on now go walk out the door just turn around now 'cause you're not welcome anymore." Angel just had no idea where this was coming from. "I will survive Oh as long as I know how to hide, I know I will stay alive. I've got all my life to live, I've got all my childhood to look forwards to and I know I'll survive" Angel then moved closer to Ben.. he'd protect her right. |
TROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! This was not a good thing! Even though Aladdin has never faced a troll in his entire life before he's still heard of them! Quickly reaching for what he thought was his dagger he realized that it was...a stick...Remembering, it was a wand he wondered if he could cast some spells. Apparently he was at a school for witchcraft and wizardry somehow, so that meant he knew at least a few spells right!? This would be the perfect time for his Genie though. Really...really necessary. Pointing the newly pulled out stick- er- wand he pointed at the hulking beast. Now he had to really rack his brain. Dear Brain: Search keyword: spell. Aha! He had it! His mind went back to the class where they were catching Fairies...what was it called...Magical Creatures and Caring For Them? Nope, way to long. How To Care For Magical Creatures? Still way to long. It was something along those lines though. There was a spell both him and the Dark One used to freeze the fairies so they could capture them! Making a counter clockwise motion with his wand he exclaimed at the Troll "Glacius Tria!" A burst of icy power shot out at the troll. That should hopefully freeze the troll over...or maybe it would just make it angrier...Realizing it might've just made the beast angrier, Aladdin ducked and rolled farther back in the room. Weaving in and out of desks and people he stayed closer up front in a defensive position. He would make people see him more than just a street rat! |
The lesson was... again, not incredibly inspiring, but he had spoken and thus participated. That ought to count, right? And he hadn't been wrong in his answer so... ner. He had been in the process of writing out his notes when there was LOOOUUUUDDDD banging on the door. What the? Zeke stopped writing, and just stared at the door and then turned to his peers. Big bad wolf, say what??? ... And then THAT happened. Uuhhhh... there's a troll in the dungeons? This wasn't planned, surely... where do they ruuuuun?! hide?! get away?! Despite every fibre in his body telling him to up and leave or hide under his desk, he stayed rooted to his seat, staring and in awe... only, his wand was now in his hand, and he had no recollection of doing that. Professor? |
CRASH! .............................. Of all the things he expected to be behind the door, he certainly didn't expect there to be a frEAKING TROLL THERE. HOLY FREAKING MERLIN WHAT THE-- NO NO NO NO NO. Grayson was starting to regret sitting so close to the front. JEEZ. Worst place to sit, Whitlock. The troll was practically RIGHT THERE. Or so it seemed because he WAS plenty scared of this creature that had popped up out of nowhere and decided to ruin everything. And each booming thump of the troll's feet hitting the floor of the dungeon was ONLY making it worse. Man oh man. He was moving AWAY, mkay? As fast as he could in the opposite direction with his wand in his hand because he wasn't STUPID. And his things were left there because he didn't care if the troll gobbled up any of THAT. They certainly weren't getting a piece of this hottie. |
Angel decided that it might be a good idea to get her wand out and hide behind Benny.. "You don't mind do you Ben?" Angel as she went behind her boyfriend and clung to him. She then saw AJ clinging to Adi wasn't AJ the fearless one that rode a unicorn last term... maybe she could ride the Troll and tame it but she didn't say anything to her sister she was too busy hiding behind her own hottie. |
aaaaand waiting for deniz now UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. WHAT. Toby suddenly sPRUNG UP out of his seat as the door was SLAMMED out of the doorway and... oh. Oh no. Ohhhhhh nooooooooooooooo. The Hufflepuff got his wand out, but there was nothing to really DO. Culloden was the guy in charge, and probably perfectly capable of handling this. Everyone just needed to get out of harms way, before the troll trampled them. The last thing they needed was for anyone to freak out. Or... draw the trolls attention to them... with magic. Oh boy. "Guys, get back! Out of the way!" he blurted out, particularly at those... about to FIGHT it? And HE started to move off to the side of the room and out of the way TOO, because of the DANGER. He'd thought about getting under the desk, but he liked being able to see where that club was. Culloden would HANDLE THIS. |
Yes, that was scary. Of course Ruby hid. Shrieked a bit too. But also like what kind of troll was that even? Since people were yelling about trolls. It was a troll, it was big, it wanted to gobble them. Which... now that she was out of the way (and other people were a lovely barrier who would obvy fill said troll up if it did get to gobbling), "Since when do trolls talk?" |
It was cool... you know, being at the front of the class by the Professor and as far away from the Troll and the back of the room as possible. With any luck, the troll would fill up from eating everyone else and would decide to leave him alone. "Anybody got a shrinking solution or something???" he asked with humour. Yeah... now was not the most appropriate time for joking. But he felt safe, despite the danger associated with a troll. Imminent death. |
Ian started slowly inchi his way to the front of the room, closer to the professor. No use being an impediment to the troll's progress. |
More boom...Boom...BOOMING was heard and Benny still wondering just what it was. He glanced in Culloden's direction to see what the potions master's reaction might be. However before anyone could do anything the door broke down and a troll....a TROLL stuck his head into the classroom. Coming to gobble them up?! The Gryffindor dropped his quill in favor of reaching into his pocket to grasp his wand but he hesitated to raise it. Just what spell would be best if anything against a troll? His thoughts were interupted as Angel jumped up and started speaking. Wait, was that a song or something?! He shook his head to focus and stood up himself almost tempted to pull her closer but she had moved closer to him on her own. And then even closer as she moved behind him and took a hold on him. Clingy Angel was something new as a whole but it was better than her doing something stupid. "Nope...I'd rather we stick together and be safe." The safe was uncertain though as possible options were up in the air. |
A TROLL?! :whaa: Adi stared, totally dumbfounded as the door fell away. He had already grabbed his wand but what the heck could they do against a troll? And suddenly he was being clung to. Looking around, he saw it was AJ. What? AJ wasn't one to do that kind of stuff. "Is this what it takes to get clung to? A troll about to gobble us up?'' Jokes. It was what Adi did best even in times of...emergency. And that Slytherin girl (Ruby) had a point. Adi thought all trolls did was grunt and point. And Zeke. LOL. Shrinking Solution. But Culloden would know what to do. RIGHT? And he had the older students to help. Like Adi. He wanted to help if necessary. |
At the first BOOMing crash against the door, Sophie absoLUTELY jumped, big eyes shooting immediately toward the door. As it happened again, she looked to Culloden, her expression stone-cold. What... was... THAT? Before she had the opportunity to ask if it was some kind of joke, the door CRASHED open and Soph jumped out of her seat, her wand immediately in her hand as she moved around the desk and backed right on up to where Culloden was, now standing right beside him. Wand out. STARING. A troll... coming... to... gobble them UP? Since when did trolls eat people? Was that a thing? She found her voice, enough to yell, "Everyone, get BACK!" and turned her big eyes up to Culloden - not before stealing a glance at Tobes to make sure he was out of harm's way. WELL? Could she use spells? No direct action unless the CAPTAIN SAID SO. |
