Post 1 - Approaching the Astronaut Training Area *has Layla* Eden felt sick. BUT. Her insides were still all in tact--at least she hoped--and she just took LOTS of deep breaths before following Professor Flamsteed inside. She hooked arms with Layla so they wouldn't get separated--and she smiled at the girl. "This is so cool--" she whispered. And she didn't feel out of place with muggles. Her MAM was a muggle. So yeah..these were all just comPADRES to her. HMM. WHOAH. Her eyes grew big in the inside--and WOW. She wanted to just run around and do EVERYTHIIIIIING! AHH. Glancing at her friend, she bit her lip. "Can we PLEASE check out the Training area fiiiiirst? You don't have to do anything--I just--I want to do the SPINNY thing!" she cried, and she really hoped Layla didn't have any....reservations or anything. They could do whatever Layla wanted next--yeah? |
Need a museum buddy? aaahhhh! Ian finished screaming as the pulling of his belly button ended. He looked around and hopefully didn't 'make a scene' screaming out of no where. They were behind some bushes and Ian felt secure there, but he wasn't sure he wanted to do that again. It was crazy and he didn't particularly feel like that was the best way to travel. He heard the professor speak and once again warn them about the 'secrecy rule'. Ian was good. He hadn't even considered using magic, because well, muggles. Anyway, Ian headed over to the professor as the portkey was handed over and he listened to the instructions. He was very excited to get inside, if for no other reason than to sit for a few minutes and gather his wits about him. Plus, he'd sort of like to have a partner. Museums were ALWAYS better with partners. As he handed in his ticket, he smiled at the attendant and decided that he was actually feeling better. Now, he just looked around for someone to hang out with. |
Tour of le Rocket Tower ^_^ Adi felt his feet collide with the ground and he nearly lost his balance. He wobbled a bit before grabbing hold of his bestie to steady himself. "Whoa...almost fell over.'' Almost. He sucked in air. Man! Traveling by portkey wasn't that fun. But at least he wasn't feeling sick. "You okay?" he asked Benny as he looked around. Hey, they were in a parking lot. The Space Center's parking lot probably! Woot! Adi fell in step beside Benny before following Professor Airey. He knew just how to act like a muggle. He spent half of his life living among them, after all. He handed in his ticket. Then they were inside! Map in hand, he studied it. "Benny, let's go take a tour of the Rocket tower. You can choose where we go after.'' The Rocket Tower sounded AWESOME! But so did everything else. Adi took off in the Tower's direction. His friend wouldn't mind his suggestion, he knew. |
To the moon walk! Norah blinker slowly, staring around at her surroundings with one hand on her forehead. Ehhhh, was she supposed to feel this weird? She rubbed her forehead and flicked a few auburn curls from her eyes before turning to face Professor Flamsteed. Once inside, the second year's eyes widened and she looked around in awe. Yeah, yeah. No magic. Sounds good- could they see stuff now?!? MOON WALK? WOOOAH! Norah perked up and began to bounce in place. That sounded SOOOO cool! Waiting impatiently for permission to go, she looked around for a partner. Oh, well. She would see if anybody showed up where she was going. Trying to contain her excitement just a little bit, she began speed skipping in the direction of the moon walk. THIS as gonna be the best day ever! She could feel it. |
Doing the Moon Walk! *mention of Norah* OOMMFFHHHH Kace finally landed in the space center. He looked around and didn't feel as sick as he probably should have been. He kept his eyes open the whole time maybe that is why. He got up and took in his surroundings. Now this place was totally epic! He smiled and stopped to take the view in. He even heard about the activities they could do and decided on the moon walk first. He walked over to the area and noticed a girl who he had met before was doing the moonwalk too. He smiled at her and asked, "You ready to do the moonwalk?" He was quite excited to feel how the astronauts really walked on the moon. He was just a nerd like that. |
The moon walk! - Mention of Kace and Norah UGHHHHHH. Lux felt SICK after that Portkey ride. Taking deep breaths, she waited for the feeling to pass before taking a good look at the surroundings. This place looked so cool! This was going to be an amazing field trip, she knew it already. Knowing how to behave like a muggle because she lived around them and dressed like them, Lux followed Professor Flamsteed. After handing in her ticket she looked at her map to see where to head first. There were a lot of cool options, but the moon walk sounded like a nice place to start. Making her way in that direction, she spotted Kace and a girl she had never spoken to (Norah). "Hey, guys!" Turning her attention to the other girl, she said, "I'm Lux." |
Tour of the Rocket Tower Gabriel kept his eyes firmly shut throughout the uncomfortable trip; the sensations overwhelming enough without visually affirming said sensations. When he finally collapsed in a heap...against very hard terrain, dark brown eyes finally cracked open. Parking lot.....Ouch. It took Gabe a few moments to pick himself up off the ground....considering nausea as a factor. His stomach churned almost painfully; jaw clenching against the urges to expel everything he'd had for breakfast that morning (and maybe dinner the night before). It helped to breathe through his nose....and to not open his mouth.....BUT HE FINALLY STOOD. Yes, shakily...on even wobblier feet...but it WAS technically standing. It took a few more moments for him to realize that he'd landed on his satchel...and a mild panic began on that front. Had his camera survived?...AND HIS QUILLS?! After confirming everything had made it through in one piece, Gabe was slightly more prepared to proceed into the building. He'd been to the muggle movies a few times...and vaguely understood how the ticket business worked. You simply handed it over to gain admittance. Logical and easy enough. After doing so (a bit timidly), he bolted in the direction of the rocket tour. THIS BANNER....needed some science and fact finding. Immediately. |
Tour of the Rocket Tower SPOILER!!: Adi ...And they reappeared in a parking lot. Quite a difference from the high stone castle tower they had left behind. Ben managed to right himself as he closed his eyes, feeling someone grab hold of him beside. When he opened them again, he reconized his best friend, offering a small smile before nodding. He was okay. The fourth year followed along with him and Professor Flamsteed, handing over his entry ticket to the space center as instructed before entering the building with the rest of the class. He had just opened his guide map in the atrium when Adi spoke up beside him, offering the first choice for their little expedition. "Alright...sounds like a plan," he replied with a nod of agreement. The Gryffindor looked down at the map in front of him and found the place they were looking for. Not that there weren't plenty of signs directing them where to go. Not to mention the home of the two large rockets couldn't be that hard to find regardless. "This way..." he motioned to the Hufflepuff before walking with his friend to the transparent enclosure. |
Moon walk! Hiiii fellow moonwalkers!!! (Norah, Kace & Lux) So much fro a graceful landing. AJ managed to catch herself right before her face smacked the ground. It was good to have reflexes. Portkey travel was interesting. While her belly had butterflies, she didn't have to puke. All in all it was a success. AJ listened to the last of Airey's instructions before handing over her ticket and opening up her map. They were muggles, she got it. She skimmed the map, and decided that she would be checking out the moon walk first. AJ would most likely kill it at moonwalking. The lion set off at a jog, and noticed one familiar face out of the small group already assebled there. "Hey Norah, hey guys... I'm AJ." Hiiii. "Wanna have a moonwalk off?" You know, kind of like a dance off. Please! |
Moon walk- Kace, Lux, AJ SPOILER!!: you three! Norah grinned at the other Hufflepuff boy as he joined her on the way to the moon walk. She had met him before, right? Hey! Jace, right? Wait no! Kace. "WOOOT! She remembered (eventually). "I'm Norah, she added, just in case he had forgotten. Not that she'd blame him, Norah was a pretty booooring name. Anyways. "Oh yeah! It'll be sooo cool. Almost like being a real astronaut!" And with that she quickened her pace a little, impatient to get there and try it out. The second year smiled and waved at the next Hufflepuff who joined them. It was like a Puffer party! Lux. Got it. "Hi Lux, I'm Norah," she replied, sticking her hand out to shake the older girl's, 'cause manners duh. Her mum would be so proud. "That's a really nice name!" she added as they continued on their way. Hey! More people, and this time somebody she recognized. Hey, AJ, Norah responded with a little bounce and a wave. A moon walk off? "You're on!" She could totally be a real astronaut and be the best at moon walking. As long as it wasn't as uncomfortable as portkeys- ew. FINALLY, they were at the moon walk area. The Hufflepuff felt her lips part as she surveyed the contraption. Wooooooah! She started to bounce on the tips of her toes, grinning excitedly, and looked around at the other three students. "So who wants to go first?" |
For Lex! Perhaps astronaut training? [1] Way to ruin this, Airey. They were allowed to wander off. Where was the fun in leaving the group if they were asked to pursue activities on their own?? No fun. But that didn't matter for long, because THEY WERE ON THEIR OWN. And no one was free to join L-Squared. Except a few cool people. Could be counted with one hand, so... yeah, very few exceptions. Her eyes on her best friend, Lottie waited until most of the peeps were gone before suggesting something with a bit of excitement for the Gryffindor standing next to her. "Astronaut training, then? Or should we leave that for later and tour something first?" They were going to witness what Airey was denied of either way. Could be their first stop, or their last, she didn't mind at all. |
Tour of le Rocket Tower ^_^ + Gabe & Benny Benny and Adi were off! And apparently so was Gabriel. "Gabe!'' Adi called as he caught up to the dude who had been kind enough to help him out in Muggle Studies. Come to think of it, Adi still had the pen. Oops. He had to remember to return it. "Hi!'' But Adi got distracted by the things on the pillows. "What are those?" He shuffled off excitedly to the first one. "A rock of some kind...'' Obviously from outer space. How cooooool! This was like a trip to Sugarplums or Honeydukes for Adi. Except of course he couldn't eat the rock. Hehe. |
Astronaut training! [1] Quote:
This had to be, officially, one of the greatest places in the entire world and Airey had earned himself some extra EXTRA chocolate frog points with this Gryffindor. Didn't matter that wandering off was allowed, it just made it less likely for Airey to pretend to lecture them when they finally showed up later. This was their day. D'you feel the freedom Lottie? The intoxicating sweetness of NOT being inside the castle? They probably could have illusioned all this and stayed at school but she was glad Airey opted for the real thing. She looked all about them, trying to figure what they'd get done first in this beautiful place. Of course it went without saying they were going it alone. Unless you were in the year that just left, you were not allowed and we all know how unlikely that was. "Astronaut training." She agreed with a firm nod as she linked arms with her bestie and pulled her in that direction. "I wanna try that anti-gravity simulation thing. Closest I'll come I reckon unless Aurors head into space." Had she told Lottie she'd applied for the program? She couldn't remember. |
Professor *cough* Angel was totally watching everyone else leave but she stood right were she was right next to the Professor, she was going to keep an eye on him and she was going to do a good job she didn't want Professor Hooksteed coming out and destroying this nice huge centre because well they would be banned and the Professor might get into trouble. Though the Professor at the minute was his normal self. Angel quickly tapped the Professor on his shoulder since well that would be the polite thing to do and to make sure he hadn't forgotten about her. "Where we going first?" Angel wonder if the Professor remembered she wanted to stay with him. |
Moonwalk - Kyroh Dot was practically beside herself as she let go of Lex and tried very hard not to vom on the shiny shiny floors. This place was so BIG and amazing and wonderful and new, and she wanted to see everything. And she wanted to see it... with... Hmm. Kyroh. Dot reached out and grabbed his arm, tucking hers through his. "Freckle Friend! I want to go to..." Dot scanned the little map the professor had given them, turning it over and over and upside down before pointing to something that sounded fun. "Moonwalk Thingy. Okay?" |
IS IT the moonwalk though? He's difficult. Quote:
What he was MORE worried about was the fact that he had lost Maddie and she wasn't acting like Maddie at all. She was acting like....well...she said her name was Goldilocks and that wasn't good. Glancing around the second year blinked as someone grabbed his arm. DOT! "I think we have to do Astro-naunt training first." That made the most sense to him. |
Apparently Astronaut Training Quote:
Never. Never when he made that face. "Can we do my moonwalking next? Please please?" It was her birth month. She deserved it. |
Astronaut Training!!!!1111111111! Quote:
How could you go walking on the moon without proper training? You couldn't. The thought alone of doing it THAT way hurt his head. He watched as she stuffed the map in her pocket. "YEAH! That's what the training is for!" Beaming from ear to ear, he tugged her along as he sprinted toward the astronaut training. WOULD THEY GET TO WEAR SUIT!??! |
Astronaut Training. Quote:
You couldn't do either of those things at Hogwarts. "Oh, the spinny thing! I bet you throw up. I bet you do, Ky. I bet you vom all over the place." She let go of his arm so she could climb right up next to the machine to look at it. And there were flying trapeze things too! And costumes! "Dress up!" |
1-off to the planetarium Dec teeter-tottered as he landed like a toddler learning to walk. At least he wasn't on him bum. The boy took a deep breath. Ahhhh, city air. Cough, cough. He was quite curious to see how some of his peers react in a muggle world. His mother is a Muggleborn, so this is nothing new to him. Well, actually. This centre was new to him and he was very much excited to be here. First on his list was definitely the planetarium! It would be like star-gazing to the extreme! Off he went with a big smirk on his face. |
Quote:
"I wanna climb the wall thing." AND wear the costumes. And not worry about throwing um. Jumping down he walked over to the yellow ladders. They didn't need a suit for this right? |
Venturing toward the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium Solid ground! They had made it to the National Space Centre and from what she could tell, they were all in one piece. Of course, Cora couldn't be all that certain considering she still had her eyes shut. Attempting to take a breathe without possibly getting sick, she slowly opened her eyes and checked to see if she was all there. Arms...check. Legs...check. Okay, she was all there but the vommy feeling still remained in her stomach and that seriously didn't bode well with her at the moment. By no means did she think that she was going to need the bushes, but she didn't want to chance it. Keeping near the back of the group, she followed along as they entered the centre. It was even more excited to be there than she had imagined and the sheer excitement of being here began to distract her from the queasiness that still resided in her tummy. Pulling out her guide map, she opened it and glanced around. Everyone was going in all different directions and she wasn't even sure which one interested her the most. There was a lot of potential fun times to be had but she needed to plan her time ever so wisely. Taking notice of the time, she consulted the guide map once again and headed toward the Planetarium. There was showing in five minutes and they were just about to beginning seating. |
Astronaut Training Quote:
"I plan on vomming too. I think it's cool," she called helplessly at his back, but when Kyroh seemed determined to do the ladder thing, Dot stubbornly shrugged on the astronaut suit and climbed up into the spinning chair. "I'm going to throw up. Make me go extra fast," she informed the dude running the machine. "Point me at that kid there if I start to spew, ok?" Sharing is caring. |
Tour of the Rocket Tower: Post 2 / Adi and Benny! Gabe felt better? after breaking away from the crowd.....and walking had even gotten most of the wobbliness out of his legs. He was off to do his own thing....science surrounding him....and history, too. Even if it was just of the muggle sort. ......and...someone was calling his name. Loudly. Uh... Halting his footsteps, Gabe turned, blinking owlishly at the source. It was the Hufflepuff prefect boy, who'd sat with him in muggle studies....along with a Gryffindor he'd seen in lessons and around school. Gabe remembered him as....Benny. Yes, that was it. ".............H-hello." His face colored accordingly. Were they...um, joining him.....now? Logically....that did sort out the buddy system drama...He wouldn't have to worry about some girl trying to walk with him...After further thought on the matter, Gabriel decided to go along with these two. Besides, the one boy was a badged person...and that was a good thing, apparently. Fumbling in his bag....he retrieved his camera....and offered his companions a small....MINISCULE smile. Miniscule because Gabe didn't really smile....No, he himself didn't know why he didn't. "........" There was also an urge to fill the silence with conversation...but Gabe didn't know what to offer.....QUICK! A SCIENCE FACT! "......Harrison Schmitt was the only scientist on the Apollo 17...when that...rock was collected." Just off the top of his head... ...because scientists were important in all aspects of life...and him simply being a geologist mattered not. Surely, he served a great purpose. Shutter!Click! |
Astronaut Training Quote:
Despite the loud noises coming from all the directions, Kyroh had heard Dot call out. Pausing, he took one last glance at the yellow ladders before looking back in her direction. Vomiting wasn't cool. He didn't want to do it. But she couldn't. Walking back over to her direction he plopped himself on the floor and gazed up. Was she really going to throw up? "DON'T GET TOO SICK WE HAVE TO BOUNCE ON THE MOON!" Just in case she forgot. |
Astro-nuts Quote:
And then he started going blurry, and her stomach was up in her throat, and Dot held on tight to the chair and SQUEAAAAAAAAAALED like she was possibly being murdered or else tickled to death. Whichever. It was actually very possible that throwing up might be in her future. "IWANTTOBOUNCEONTHEMOON." LIke... let her off, okay? |
Cafe - for anyone Thornton was... not feeling quite well. They'd touched down just fine, but he found himself a little queasy and his clothes just a bit wrinkled. So once he had surrendered his ticket and made his way in to the centre, he could not entertain at all the thought of any activity, at all. So to the cafeteria it was, for a ginger ale to settle his stomach. He looked around, hoping to spy someone also headed in that direction, unwilling to break Flamsteed's rule about sticking with a buddy. Trying to smooth out the wrinkles in his shirt with the palm of his hand, Thornton swallowed hard and scanned the rapidly dispersing group. |
Heading over to the planetarium So? They did make it the National Space Centre, and not outer space or somewhere else. Cinna opened up the brochure and looked it over again. Now what was she going to do first? Mmmmm... The planetarium? Yes that sounded great. She headed down that way toward the planetarium. Altough wasn't sure exactly what a planetarium was. Maybe there would be plants from different planets. Nope that was not it. She read more into the brochure. She had only looked at the pictures in the brochure. This was going to be fun. Yeah? Now what did she need to do find a seat? Merlin this was than picking out a seat for classes. |
Astronaut Training - ATX [2] Text Cut: Lex XD Truth be told, she could think of a couple more places that could held that 'Greatest place on Earth' title, Lex. Granted, all of them would be Astronomy-related facilities, so, no big deal. But she was just as excited for FREEDOM. Albeit, it didn't really feel like it because she could still see a couple Hogwartians here and there. Like the Scabior kid. Disillusionment charms are out of the question, correct? Okay, you know what? Her best friend was actually distracting, so the Scabior kid was safe. Lotus laughed at Lex's words, "Right, and the closest I'll get to it as well, as I'm not planning on heading out there." It would be brilliant, though, so if the opportunity presented itself, she wouldn't say no. "As least I'll be in a similar department." Space-wise. ATX, "Here we are!" The seventh year wondered for a moment what Airey could feel like when reminded of all of this... then she remembered his current occupation and stopped. Everything reminds him of space, so, never mind. Now, where to first? Weightlessness or capsule or space exploration? A better question would be why weren't they brought here sooner?? |
Astronaut Training [2] SPOILER!!: Bestie! Was Lottie still noticing their classmates? Was she getting all distracted by them? That'd have been a pity considering how easy Lex tuned them out. With a mind like hers, the others might as well not have been there. Today, she was not Head Girl. She would take no one to the bathroom if they needed help (nope so good thing the Headmistress wasn't here to ask AGAIN) and she would watch out for no one but herself and Lottie. Responsibility was the fastest killer of freedom and the Gryffindor wouldn't let that happen. Not even. "That's where you're lucky, even if you don't actually go out there. You could still try out this stuff whenever. I'd visit you way more often if you have one of those," her finger pointed to the orb that simulated a spaceship out of control, "at your University." Not saying she wouldn't already visit often enough but yeah, if it had one of those it'd be something to schedule in during her training. "That first!" She said, pulling on Lottie's arm lightly as a means of tugging her toward where people would be strung up. This then the out of control ship could be done. Lex stood waiting for them to have her all strapped up and ready to go with Lottie. How did this actually work.....? She watched curiously while she waited for Lottie to be ready too. |
The moon walk! - Norah and AJ SPOILER!!: AJ and Norah Awww, the little Second Year was adorable. Smiling, Lux shook her hand. "Nice to meet you too, Norah. Thanks! You have a really nice name too." She had never met anyone named Norah before, so maybe it was uncommon like hers. Someone else was joining them, and at first Lux thought it was Angel, but it turned out to be one of her sisters. "Hey, AJ! I am Lux! I am one of Angel's friends." Angel was such a sweet girl. A moonwalk off? Lux was not too sure how that would work, but she was intrigued. "You mean like a dance off kind of thing?" Or was she missing something here? "I could go first unless someone else really wants to." She did not mind waiting, it wasn't as if she wouldn't get a chance to try out moonwalking. |
#1 Astronaut Training - anyone can join us if they wish ^__^ He landed easily, and there was no sickness, this was progress. But his excitement couldn't be contained for much longer, and his fingers were tingling with adrenalin and anticipation. LET HIM HAVE AT IT ALREADY!!!! After making their way to the building, and after handing his ticket to the attendant with the BIGGEST GRIN HE COULD MUSTER, he passed through and somehow managed to wait through the Professor's instructions. YES! GOOD! HE COULD GO NUTS NOW! He didn't care much for the buddy system in HERE, because, they were all kinda going in the same places anyway, so he made the executive decision not to wait on anyone and just go for it. The first thing he wanted to do, was the Astronaut Training, cause, HELLO, it was only the coolest thing EVER. Eagerly he walked!ran passed some of the others and joined the line for the SITTING IN THE CHAIR AND SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL activity. That looked fun. Weeee. |
Cafe - Speaking to Thornton As her feet touched down on the ground she wobbled just slightly taking a step back to press her hand to the wall nearest her to regain her balance. Oh how she loathed traveling by portkey. Closing her eyes and taking a slow steady breath she waited a moment before opening her eyes. With a quick run of her slightly shaky hand through her hair she removed her ticket from her backpack and followed everyone inside. Once she handed her ticket over she looked around. Maybe a drink would help her stomach and her slight headache she was now getting. It would be a good place to start. Spotting Thornton up ahead of her a few paces she picked up her step a little bit to fall into place beside him. "Hey, I'm Hady. Are you headed to the Cafe?" She greeted warmly figuring that if he was maybe they could partner up for this part and make a new friend at the same time. |
cafe w/ Hady Quote:
He looked down the hall to the signs that said 'cafe' and nodded. "Yes, I think I need something to settle my stomach," he added meekly. "Do you want to come with me?" Thornton looked at her expectantly. "Have you ever used muggle money before?" he leaned over to whisper. He certainly hadn't. He hoped that he wouldn't make too big a mistake. He could manage galleons fine, when he was permitted to do so, but he feared not understanding the paper he had balled in his hand. |
Post 1-Arrival and off to Astronaut Training Jasmine arrived in the parking lot all on one piece, but briefly disoriented. Once her head cleared, she was ready for action. It looked like all of her wooden spoon travelers were safe and sound, so she handed the portkey back to Professor Flamsteed. Jasmine felt right at home in the muggle world because it was pretty much home to her. This was going to be so epic. She reached into her bag and took out the Space Center brochure for review. So many things to see and do, so little time. Jasmine decided that she would try to see as much as she could on this visit. First up was Astronaut Training. For better or worse, she was curious to see how it felt to be an astronaut. Did it feel like portkey travel.....or worse. She figured that worse was probably the correct response, but she was willing to give it a try anyway. When Jasmine arrived at the Astronaut Training area, she was amazed at what she saw. Oh she was definitely going to try the big spinning gyroscope thing. Joining the line, she tried to decide if it might be better to save this experience until the end of her visit......just in case. Nope, she was going to start here. |
#2 Astronaut Training He didn't have to wait for long, because he'd beaten most of the rush - and managed to push past a couple more, so when the attendant person signaled for him to come forward, Zeke didn't hesitate. Even as he bounced his way eager forward, passing the guy that had just come off it - the guy with the green face, Zeke still sported his super ecstatic grin. NOTHING could bring him down right now. Being strapped in was easy as beans, and he felt super secure with all the fittings being tightened around him. The man gave him a thumbs up, and all he could do was return his own THUMBS UP gesture... and then it started! The spinning was slow to begin with, but it got faster... and faster... and fasterrrr... and FASTTERRR and ZOMG THIS WAS SO COOL. Zeke's mouth hung open, but the only sound that was audible was a repetitive, "Whooaaaa.... whooaaaa... whoaaaaaa... whoaaaaa." Awesome. He could even feel his face peeling away, or like... MOVING around and about. Sort of, flapping in the wind. |
Cafe Post 2 Quote:
As they walked into the cafe she glanced at the menu. Maybe a small ginger ale of something like that would help. "Oh yes I do. It's not very hard really, my mom is muggleborn." Hady replied whispering the last part. She remembered what the Professor told them about watching what they said outloud. |
Post 2-Astronaut Training Jasmine was going to experience what it was like to be in an out of control space capsule. The closer she got to her actual turn, the more she started to second guess her decision. Watching her classmate on the ride, she was even less sure. No, the only way she would find out what it was like was to try it.....so she was going to do it. And then it was Jasmine's turn. Jasmine climbed into the huge contraption and was strapped into the seat. It was now or never. The gyroscope began to move, slowly turning her around. Then it began to pick up speed and Jasmine was being spun in every possible direction. Talking about disoriented......she didn't know which way was up and which way was down. Her hands clutched the seat, as if that would keep her from spinning off into space. It was definitely a good thing that she hadn't visited the cafe first. After what seemed like an eternity, the sphere began to slow down. Thank Merlin, it finally came to a complete stop. Somewhat wobbly and with a new respect for astronauts, Jasmine removed herself from the ride. So the answer was worse.......this was way worse than traveling by portkey. Taking a moment to get her senses back, Jasmine mentally checked this off her bucket list. She also checked astronaut off of her list of potential careers. There was no way that she could do this for a living. Props to Professor Flamsteed. |
cafe w/ Hady #3 Quote:
Approaching the register, he placed the two items in front of the woman, hoping that he'd done the math correctly. He then handed over the crinkled, slighty sweaty, note. |
Cafe with Thornton 3 Quote:
After paying for her drink she leaned over to him and whispered softly in reply to his earlier comment. "Honestly so are mine but I'm adopted now and my father is a pureblood but my mother is muggleborn." This she had told him with confidence having not told anyone else here about that so far. Not that she was embarrassed at all cause she wasn't not one bit she loved her parents. It just hadn't ever come up before. |
cafe with Hady 4 Quote:
It was nice to know that someone was making sure he didn't mess up too badly. Taking his change, he smiled and went over to get them a table. While he waited for her to join him, he unwrapped the cake and took a small bite. Sweet, but not too sweet. It would likely do. Sipping his ginger ale, he wondered what the appropriate thing to say was. He didn't want to pry, but she had brought it up and so ignoring it was likely impolite as well... Bother. |
#3 Astronaut Training Sadly, the ride was soon over, and though he was completely disorientated, he wanted it to keep going. He sat for a short while as the attendant unstrapped him from the contraption, giving him a moment to breathe and orient himself. Things were still spinning, but in a happy fun way. FUUUUNNN.... WEEEEEE. But now that he'd done that... now what? The climbing activity? YEAH? YEAH! He'd had practice at this super recently too, with the whole carnival thing that they had at school. On top of that, there was the whole weightlessness floating NON GRAVITY element to it. Fuuun. Zeke practically threw himself at the lady attendant that was standing and waiting. He wanted on this thing, NOW! |
Tour of le Rocket Tower ^_^ + Gabe & Benny Adi grinned at Gabe. He wasn't trying to make him uncomfortable or anything, just trying to make him accustomed to have an always happy Hufflepuff around. Because Adi liked this dude despite him being a little weird. Did Benny and Gabe know each other? Maybe an introduction would be nice, just to be on the safe side. "Gabe, this is my best friend Benny. Benny, this is shy dude Gabe.'' Hehe. ......................... Ohh! Gabe knew his stuff! How cool. "Do you know if Astronauts always collect rocks when they visit the moon? Are you a science nut?'' Adi always had questions. He was now examining something called the Vostok Capsule. Wasn't this the first man made thingy to go in space? The Puffer climbed in excitedly. "This thing is so awesome! I'm going to be the first guy in spaceeeee!'' |
Arriving + Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium After finally landing on the ground, Zander did the doubling over while clutching stomach thing. His head was doing the spinny thing and wait a minute-- where they here?! Wizard travel was literally the weirdest thing ever. Spotting a couple of bushes over to the side, Zander ran over and ducked underneath them, for you know... Ahem. Reasons. It was his first experience with portkey travel AND hopefully the last. After popping his head back up, he noticed that O_____O Everyone was walking away!! HOLD UP PEOPLE!! Ahem. Now that they were inside and holy moly this place looks AWESOME!! Forgetting all about the weird travel experience he had just undergone, the Gryffindor basically ran towards the first thing he noticed. The Planetarium!! They were showing a SPACE MOVIE!!! So yeah, he was gonna watch that. |
Goldilocks hitting up the Cafe, yo After tossing her cookies all over the bushes in the parking lot, Goldilocks was feeling ever so dismayed. She didn't like the portkey business and would rather be eaten by a bear than do it again. And she thought they were hard to handle! These people were worse and she wasted no time slipping away from the man in charge and the freckle faced boy as soon as possible. She was fine on her own, thank you. Now what to do first. Twirling a lock of hair around her finger, Goldilocks did a little twirl and surveyed her options. So much to see and not a threat in sight! Maybe it was turning out to be her day after all. Spotting the cafe, she brightened up considerably. Surely she should fill her tummy now that she'd emptied it of the breakfast she'd had that morning. Did they have porridge here? HM? She skipped her way over and decided to find out for herself. |
Cafe - Thornton Post 4 Quote:
After paying for her drink which only took a moment she glanced around. Her eyes landed on the table that Thornton had found for them both. Walking over she smiled at him friendly before setting down across from him. Maybe she should explain a little about her 'family'? He hadn't asked her about it which she liked, you know him not prying into her business and all. It was sometimes rude when people just asked straight up though she understood it wasn't intended that way now that she was older. Twisting the cap off her ginger ale bottle she took a small sip before placing the bottle on the table. "My parents were killed in an auto accident when I was still little. My parents now are actually very close friends with my birth parents so it's like I'm with family still." Hady tried to explain a little bit without giving him the entire story which she was sure he didn't want to hear. Not that she'd tell him everything just now anyways. Not wanting him to feel badly like most people do she offered him another smile adding quietly. "I don't remember them all that much so you know it's okay and all." |
Planetarium - Zander post 2 Quote:
She caught up to him and grabbed his arm. "Zander! You wanna watch the alien movie with me?" Because she didn't want to watch it by her she'd rather watch it with a friend. They were friends right? Right. She steered them over right in the middle of the room. Great spot. She sat down "So what do you think of this place so far?" It was awesome right? This place was really cool and not a boring Hogwarts classroom. |
Lonely Ian head's to play with remote controls. 1 Ian watched as people headed off and went their ways. Apparently, he was left on his own. He shrugged and decided to explore for a while. He was used to working alone. Actually, he'd gotten rather good at it this term. He watched as people from Hogwarts peeled off to different places. He didn't really feel like getting all blocked up in a queue so he went for one of the places that didn't have lots of people waiting. He decided to give the astrobot mining a go. He spoke with the bored looking girl manning the station. She spoke in a very disinterested voice and handed him a controller. It had directional sticks, one which went back and forth, one which went left and right and a toggle that lifted a bucket. He looked in the contained area and found the bot that corresponded with his controller. It was near a pile of 'moon rocks'. He moved the bot carefully into position in front of the pile. He decided to use a technique where he would use the wall to help him out. He lowered the bucket and pushed the bot forward, pushing it toward the wall. When he got to the wall, he watched the bucket fill up with rocks. When it wouldn't hold any more, he started lifting the bucket, taking a number of rocks with him. He lifted the bucket over the fulcrum until it dropped the rocks into the containment area on the back side of the bot. He was pleased with his effort. He began to look for another group of rocks. |
Post #1; Moonwalking people? And......................... LANDED! Jeez. JEEZ. Nothing was gonna stop him from feeling sick, was it? When could he start learning to apparate? Because he wanted to get that over and done with as soon as possible, thanks, and not have to deal with this nonsense that was the Portkey. It was sickening. Literally. And he had no desire to go and get some food just yet. Besides, from what he could see, there wasn't a sign of a McDonalds or a KFC or even a Subway! MAN. People were moving on, however, so, after taking out his entry ticket and handing it to the ticket officer, Grayson entered the National Space Centre and took a look around. SWEET! Now, the real question was: where should he go first? One of the Tranquillity Bases? They seemed to have some of the best activities. Especially that moon walking one. He was ALL up for pretending that he was actually on the moon and whatnot. YEAH. He was gonna go over THERE and wait in line to get his astronaut picture taken. |
Astronaut Training [3] Text Cut: XD Okay, other people (except those with the instructions and important information) were now invisible. Sort of. BEAMING. She is lucky. Very lucky, indeed. But she was getting slightly anxious at this particular topic because she wanted it all to begin already and she still had a bit of time in her hands. "No, unfortunately, none of them do. But there are other facilities that do. I reckon I could take you." Wink. Lotus could meet a friend of a friend of a friend of a cousin or something and surely something could be arranged. For the real training, that is. Actually, even Airey could help with that. Because, let's face it, what the general public could experience was nowhere near the real training thing. Yet it was close enough. And relatively cheap, too. Okay! She allowed her best friend to pull her towards the weightless part of the experience and let the trained person strap her up. "I'll race you to the top?" They probably had to go slow anyway. |
Rocket Tower - Gabe and Adi SPOILER!!: Adi and Gabe Benny heard Adi call out to someone and turned to see another boy from their group that was coming along in the same direction obviously going to the same place. Someone his friend obviously knew in some degree. "Hello..." he said, greeting the boy he now knew as Gabe. The one who decided to join them for their tour which was no problem for the Gryffindor. It wasn't hard to see that the other boy was on the reserved side much like himself. What was with Adi and getting involved with shy people in contrast his bubbly personality? Did he attract them as opposites attract or something? But it also seemed Gabe had a science interest, the Gryffindor listening as he gave information on the rocks in front of them. Space rocks from the moon! That was a plus, having Gabe with the information, Benny was guessing Ravenclaw. It was almost like having their own private guide in the space center. "Just don't forget me when your famous..." he gingerly teased as he looked around the outside while Adi was inside. So many things to see around here and even Benny was quite curious about what he was seeing. |
Cafe with Hady 5 - and a MaddieLocks mention Quote:
He thought about going up to her, when Hady sat down. He'd... just keep one eye on her, instead. Quote:
He ripped a piece of cake off and chewed it thoughtfully. "It's good that someone who knew them could take you in, though." He wasn't sure what else to say, and so just put more cake in his mouth and chewed it slowly. If he was chewing, he couldn't be talking, you see. Swallowing, he tried to change the topic. "After we eat, where should we go?" |
Astronaut Training [3] SPOILER!!: A friend of a friend of a cousin XD Lottie really shouldn't have been making promises, because it only added to the list of amazing things she would get to do only after she'd left the Castle for good. She could see it now. No 6 am wake up, no scheduled meals, no 'don't hex that guy or it's detention'. None of that lame stuff, only the more amazing things like Auror Training and uninterrupted time with her friends whenever they weren't all off doing things to make themselves happy in the long run. "I'll hold you to it and maybe I can take you looking at those holding cells we wanted to sneak into when we went to get our Apparition Licenses." They could have done it too but the test took a little longer than they'd expected and things seemed a little busy and chaotic at the time anyway. Least now they couldn't get arrested for snooping? Bright side. "Definitely!" Racing that is. How did one even race while having no weight? They were about to find out. "On three?" She asked, latching on the the bars closet to her. That was usually the general consensus when having races. "One...two....THREE." Having not anticipated just what being weightless felt like, the Gryffindor tugged a bit too hard to pull herself up and found herself in the odd predicament of floating up some as a result of the force she'd used. "Whoaa..." It took her a moment to right herself in her suspension before she tried grabbing at the next bar. This...this was definitely weird and would be harder than she thought BUT SO COOL! |
Moon walking - Grayson post 1 SPOILER!!: Mister Whitlock Moon walking? Really how cool is that. That's exactly what she wanted to do next. Walking was just what she needed to do after sitting on the planetarium and watching that movie. So moon walking it was. Perfect exercise. Maybe. "Grayson! You wanna do the moon walk with me?" She waved at him as she walked up to the line. You know since they were both in line and right after each other so yeah. They should just try out the moon walk together. After this she was so getting something to eat. Them she would have to come to the moon walk to work that off. |
Post 2- Moon Walk! As Kace was waiting to go to the moonwalk he noticed Lux was there. "Hey Lux!" he smiled. He chuckled at Norah getting his name right the first time but getting it right the second time. "Yes it is Kace..." he couldn't help but laugh a little bit more. He knew the little gryffindor AJ joined them. Hey you know more the merrier. "I mean I can go first if any of you are hesistant to go. I can be the test subject.." he offered. He also saw Cinna and Grayson going to do the moonwalk too. He gave them a friendly wave. Hmm this attraction seemed popular. He began to walk into the attraction and saw the machine being used. It was quite awesome to say the least. He went up to the front and saw they were gonna wear astronaut suits afterwards and they will take your pictures to make you really look like you walked on the moon. "Hey guys this is cool! you get your picture taken to let you believe you actually walked on the moon.." he pointed to some samples. Well what was he waiting for? He walked up to the front and stood there waiting patiently to be put in the harness to experience his first moon walk. |
Cafe post 2! *pets Thorton* "No porridge?!" Goldilocks was terribly sad as she chatted with those working at the cafe, eyes big and full of the sads. Surely the bears had gotten to the porridge first as revenge and now she'd have to try something else even though nothing at all looked as perfect as porridge would. *SIGH* Why on earth would they have porridge at a space center? That's just ridiculous. Way to call attention to yourself, you-- "Hmph." Goldilocks didn't like that little voice in the back of her head. It was her time to explore and that Maddie person really should respect that. The constant nagging was getting ever so annoying, didn't she know? Deciding that her empty belly simply had to be filled, the girl settled on some soup. Apparently it was a special of the day. She carefully took a cupful after paying and eyed it warily. Then dipping the spoon in, she had herself a taste. *!!!!* JUMPINGJUNIPERSTOOHOT! Goldilocks proceeded to spit the soup she'd tried out, a pained expression on her face. How was that soup suitable for anyone?! |
Astronaut Training [4] Text Cut: Well, someone XD And she never breaks a promise. So this will actually happen one day. The excitement! Three months to go! "It's a deal!" Yes, that day had been a chaotic one for the Ministry and not because of them. Though it did take a while for the department to get everything in order, they could so blame them for their lack of time to pursue other interests. Like checking out those holding cells. It all worked out in the end, because all she'd wanted to get out of that day was her license. Also, Lex, keep a low voice when discussing apparition, yeah? Muggles all around. Lotus nodded. On the count of three. Yes! One... two... this count she made, not the portkey one, figures. Three! And... man, this wasn't as easy as she thought it would be, you know. Getting to the top fast was going to be rather difficult as one floated about. Kind of. "Remember the anti-gravity lesson?" Did she remember how to move in that environment? Same goes for this. Only they truly got to experience it with magic. That yearbook boy, Gabriel was it?, was probably having a blast in this trip, he was very into science and would be fascinated to know how Muggles made this work. Enough about him. The seventh year finally managed to keep a steady pace, and was moving up! All the years of climbing trees... made no difference, because she had gravity on her side back then. "Slow and steady, but still fast." Hear that, Lex? Just like the anti-gravity lesson. Yup. |
Post #2; Moonwalkers Quote:
OH SNAP! Cinna! "'Sup, Cinnamon Roll," he said, giving her the sup nod. Was she joining them on the moonwalk? GOOD CHOICE. Did he want to do the moonwalk together? "'Course! What's better than one awesome person doing the moonwalk? TWO awesome people doing the moonwalk." Or pretending that they were on the moon. And look at him complimenting BOTH of them. Wasn't he so NICE? "C'mon, let's put on the astronaut costume and make it look like a proper moon landing." He WAS near the front of the queue now, which meant that it was their turn pretty soon. BRILLIANT! Oh hey! Look at KACE! Grayson smiled and gave the dude a 'sup nod in return. We see you, Lecium. |
Planetarium (post 2) Quote:
Before he could go any further, he was yanked back by someone who grabbed his arm. HEY? What was that-- Oh. Cinna. That definitely explained things. What was it with girls and yanking arms, huh? And how come they felt it was the best way to get things done. Zander would've probably, maybe stopped if she had just said something. Well, probably. Maybe. He followed her towards the middle of the theater-- not like he really had a choice-- and sat down right next to her. Before the film started, he turned to her and nodded. "Yeah, it's pretty neat!" he chuckled and leaned back a tinsy bit in the process. These chairs were actually pretty comfy believe it or not. And uh, hopefully Cinna wasn't one of those movie talkers. Ahem. But knowing Cinna, she probably was. |
Post 2 moon walking Grayson Quote:
Of course they were awesome. They were Cinna and Whitlock. So yes awesome they were. She nodded and laughed. Perfect! "That's exactly what I was thinking Whitlock. Awesome and awesome equals awesome to the extreme!" Haha. Who else could pull off getting awesome in three times in one sentence? Only her! Spotting Kace and Lux and their little group, she give them a happy wave and a big bright Cinna smile. Turning back to Whitlock, she nodded. "Sounds. Awesome astronaut Whitlock!" Those astronaut costumes looked heavy. Good thing she was a big tough and strong girl. Ha. What even the excitement was making her insane |
sorry Liam >< TO THE MOON WALK! Space...Space...Space...SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE! The astronomer could hardly contain himself as he studied his guide map real quick. Not that he really needed to study it per say. He knew this facility like the back of his right hand. Perhaps his left as well, but considering his dominant have was his right he had had plenty of time to study it while writing all sorts of reports and assignments...research grants.... SPACE! Deciding that he would head to the astronaut training area a bit later - he had yet to see the exhibit he had had a personal hand in creating in full swing and wanted to save the best for last if possible - he quickly began calculating the best course to take through the National Space Centre. One that would limit the amount of doubling back he did so as to maximize his time here and ----- Quote:
Wait...WE? As in....together? Like...her plus sign him equal sign them? "I...er...." NO TIME TO BE AWKWARD, FLAMSTEED! SCIENTIFIC INQUIRY AWAITS! "TO THE MOON WALK, MISS VALENTINE!" And with a triumphant, and dramatic, thrust of his finger in the general direction of the Tranquility Base area, the professor took off with what could only be described as giddy man!flailing. |
Post 3- Moon Walk! Time to be strapped in. He walked up to the contraption that was gonna let him walk on the moon. He smiled towards the people who were gonna help him. He sat down in the seat as instructed and felt himself get strapped in. He smiled and was prepared for this. He saw the man starting the machine and he was kind of nervous but then he was lifted up and then he felt the sensation of walking on the moon. It felt slow at first. It felt like he was going in slow motion. He felt silly walking on the floor. Man this what astronauts really walked like? It was kind of cool. He kept like jumping up and then slowly back down. One small step for man one giant leap for mankind! He was smiling at his friends and waving to them. After he was done he was brought down and unstrapped, he felt it was awesome. He left the chair and smiled and asked the others, "Alright who is next?" |
Planetarium post 3 - Zander. Quote:
She smiled when they sat down. Wow these seats were comfy. The professors should totally get seats like this for there classrooms. They were amazing and totally good for your back. Heck the professors could do with seats like these to. Totally suggesting these chairs to them. We Are Aliens! "Aliens? Zander what do you think?" She wanted a honest opinion of life on other planets. Creepy when you thought about it. And the title of the show. What if we were the ones who were the Aliens? O_O. Weird. Anyway was this about to start soon? Zander better not put his arm around her. She'd totally bite his arm if he did. Yes she would friends or not. But she knew he wouldn't. He was cool like that. Yep. Yep. She would so end up talking a serval points in the show she could feel it questions mostly. Ones that Zander better be able to answer. He should know this stuff. |
Astronaut Training [4] SPOILER!!: My child constantly forgets muggles *sighs* Deal. That sealed everything now didn't it? Solid plans for later on that she'd fixate on rather than pay attention during her lessons. That seemed about right. Just the other day she spent Potions class thinking of the places she'd hit once the summer got here. How did anyone expect them to still be learning? Might as well had let them graduate early and be done with it. Just saying. It never occurred to her that 'Apparition' wasn't an everyday word for the Muggles around them. She didn't make a habit of speaking with Muggles so her censor was hardly ever on. What would they be doing eavesdropping anyway? Rude much? Oh but of course! That lesson! Brilliant Lottie! Lex gave a firm nod, trying to remember what that had been like. Admittedly it did help a lot...so did that lesson with Botros the other day. It wasn't actually underwater despite the illusion but there was no gravity then too. She got this. Just like Lottie, she was slowly but steadily making her way up, pulling with just the right amount of strength this time. At one point she lost her grip and found herself floating about...was it floating....? So...weird....she didn't even KNOW but she caught hold of the bars again and you know what? Before long, she was at the top but she hadn't been looking to see if Lottie beat her there. "Made it!" She glanced down at the space they'd struggled through without weight to get up there. "Don't reckon it'll be very easy getting back down." Oh but look, she could see the orb machine from here. "Think that guy's about to lose his lunch." She said pointing. "Ready to try that out??" |
Post 3: Moon Walk Quote:
The second year smiled and said "Thanks" to the muggle workers strapping her into the contraption. If all muggles were like her mum's family they were very big on manners. Or maybe that was just mums in general. MOON WALK. RIGHT. Trying not to bounce, Norah sat as still as she could until she was safely contained. Astronaut or not, falling out and breaking her head open was proooobably not the best idea. Her grin grew even wider as she began to float. She couldn't find the words to describe the sensation, but the weightlessness she was experiencing made her feel even bouncier than ever. She let out a "Whooop!" loud enough to sound excited but not so loud that Professor Flamsteed could get cross with her for being disrespectful to the muggles. That's right, she had common sense once in a while. Norah took another big step, and migrated upwards again. If this was astronauts did all the time, she would definitely consider that as a career option, yep. And then her turn was over. Man, that passed quickly. Norah smiled and thanked the muggles once more as they removed her from the moon walk thingy majig, and grinned at her schoolmates. "That was TOTALLY wicked!" |
Tour of the Rocket Tower: Post 3 / Adi and Benny They both seemed really understanding about his...uh, anxiousness...and Gabe shifted on his feet, snapping a second picture before pocketing the camera. Notebook and quill out, now....for some light notes....So, when he scrapbooked this later, there would be entries to match the pictures. ...and questions about moon rocks. Sure, Gabriel knew about moon rocks. "Uh, it's hard to say about, erm, other countries...." Pause. "....but all the successful Apollo missions produced lunar samples.".....This was a good subject to get him started on...."....and the GENESIS ROCK....came from the Apollo 15 mission." ....and some more writing..... |
no worries :) this will be fun. Quote:
Angel then heard where he wanted to go and then she saw some flailing oh dear Hooksteed wasn't coming out was he. Saying that if that guy did come out she already had a story ready for anyone, he's on a day trip from a care home. That would totally be believable right. Angel followed the Professor to the Moonwalk area. "You going to show me how it's done Professor?" Angel asked and was she allowed to record it so she could show all the class? |
WHO ALL IS HERE AT THE MOON WALK STILL?? *waves at everyone* Quote:
With a grin on his face that would make any witch or wizard believe that he had been hit with about a dozen Cheering Charms, he stopped when he had reached the Promised Land and manly squealed before turning his attention towards his Gryffindor companion. "Oh it's quite simple really, Miss Valentine. You do not need to do anything but stand still as the muggles strap you into the seat. Then, well, you simply jump about. It's quite the surreal feeling and don't feel too embarrassed if you end up kicking and flailing your legs a bit. Your moments will be slowed down due to the simulation of the Moon's gravity," he explained softly as one of the muggles working at the area came over with a precautionary helmet for each of them. "I hope you have no qualms about my going first," he said eagerly, not exactly waiting for her to give him the approval he deserved and already making his way towards the vacant chair. He promptly sat down in it and waited for the muggles to strap him in - although he was perfectly capable of doing it himself. "Miss Valentine, are you familiar with the first words spoken on the surface of the moon by humans?" |
All you cool kids at the moon walk. :) (Post 2) Norah was down, and AJ gave her a big smile. Awesome. She knew that she liked the girl from when they worked together in History of Magic. The older girl seemed really friend. AJ shook Lux's hand. "Nice to meet you, Lux." So she already knew Angel. "Well, if you think Angel is cool you are going to LOVE me," she teased. "It's exactly like a dance off. Wanna have a go?" Would they all have to take turns? AJ was just about to volunteer herself to go first when Kace piped up. "Awesome man. Show us how it's done." It was always better to have somebody else go first. That way you had an idea of how things would work. There were a few more people that joined the ranks. It was an older girl and guy that AJ had seen around in classes, but that she didn't know on a personal level. Her attention went back to Kace when he broguth up pictures. "Oh, I have to get me one of those." AJ had totally picked the best attraction. A familiar voice caught her attention. Look, her sister and the professor showed up. Was AJ hanging out with him? How odd. "Hey Angel, hey professor. You guys are just in time for a moon walk off!" |
Quote:
Angel then suddenly saw AJ and gave her a wave. "I don't mid Professor." Angel wasn't really sure this was safe but she would give it a go when the Professor had finished. She put on the helmet anyway. "Oh I know that." Angel beamed. "Neil Armstrong said one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind." Angel looked down at the floor and thought about something. "Professor is it true he made a mistake?" Angel had heard he had somewhere. "Apparently he was supposed to say one small step for a man and one giant leap for mankind." Angel wondered how he would have forgotten the a. |
Tour of le Rocket Tower ^_^ + Gabe & Benny Ahh. Gabe was brilliant! Brilliant people were totally cool. "You're a genius,'' Adi said, examining the rocks again. He hadn't known about the information Gabe had shared but he was fascinated. Now he really wished he could go to the moon. Maybe Flamsteed could take them there on a trip next. Hehe. ................................. Him? Forget about Benny? Yeah, right. The Hufflepuff was about to jokingly state that "he'll try not to" but he remembered that Benny was more sensitive and the reply might make him feel bad. "Not a chance,'' Adi replied instead as he continued his examination of the interior of the Capsule. ................................. Okay, he was done examining stuff here. Time to move on! "Where to next, Benny?'' Adi asked as he climbed out of the capsule. |
1 - Activity 1 - Astronaut Training Toby had always been fine with portkeys, just the same as how he'd never encountered problems travelling by floo powder; it probably helped that he'd spent his entire life in like perpetual motion or something. He walked with the rest of the group to the entrance, handed over his ticket and headed inside. Neat. So neat. And so many high-tech things, which was a BIG change from the sort of old school feel of Hogwarts. Toby took his time to gaze around at everything he could see from where he stood, half-listening to Airey and figuring (or hoping) that Soph was paying more attention than he was. 'Cause, y'know, they wouldn't want to miss the portkeys back or anything. That would be a real tragedy. And then they were freeeeeeeeeeeee. Toby looked down at his guide map properly to find an activity to hit first, though he wished he could go everywhere all at once. "Let's do the astronaut training thing," he said to Soph, who was still right there beside him. "That sounds like it could be fun. Then maybe we could try the moonwalk." It all meant moving about. Toby wanted to visit the planetarium at some point too, but was immediately drawn to the more active, uhh... activities first. There was no time to lose, so Toby nudged his Ravenclaw counterpart and gestured his head in that direction, starting to step that way. |
Astronaut Training [5] Text Cut: Of course she does How about them NEWTs, Lex? Anyway, apparition to muggles might just make them think about ghosts, so no real harm done. And she didn't think anyone was truly listening since they were pretty much on a higher ground. It was fun, you know? This. She never got that anti-gravity spell from Airey and she might just ask him before leaving Hogwarts, because she could climb trees this way. She'll try not to let the spell hit Marshmallow, though, her cat might not enjoy the feeling of not being pulled down to Earth. The thought made her realize she hadn't tried to climb with Marshmallow, and that was something she needed to do ASAP, she couldn't have a cat that wasn't fond of climbing. Hopefully not. But if the cat was scared of actual marshmallows fighting back, then who's to say trees wouldn't cause a similar reaction, hmmmm??? Made it! Lotus looked up, entirely distracted by the previous thought and just reaching the top. "You won!" The Gryffindor had Lottie's distractions to blame for that. "It'd be easier, you'll see." It was easier to go down than up, mainly because they were already used to the weightless feeling. And that proved to be true as Lottie reached down on the yellow tubes and stood back on the floor soon enough. It was... difficult to stand, to say the least, but she nodded once she was fine and ready to go for some adrenaline-filled activity. "Yup, ready! Come on!" she said, pulling Lex along. One at a time, though. "You can go first, you won the race." Wink. |
Astronaut Training [5] Haywire shuttle exp SPOILER!!: *snorts* What are these NEWTs of which you speak? Funny enough, in all her plans of an early graduation, it never occurred to Lex that once the year was over there were still NEWTs before she would properly be free, so nope, no thoughts of exam, just the freedom that came after. Freedom kinda like this right now from this spot looking down at everything else. It was almost like flying her broom again, something she hadn't done in ages thanks to some idiot no one could find anyway. Oh and she'd won? Neat! Might have meant more if she'd noticed but a win was a win and Lex had copied Lottie's movements in order to get herself down in a timely fashion. Still plenty to do before they had to leave. Alexa let herself be pulled over to the orb that spun in all directions while her body readjusted to the fact it now had to carry her weight again. This weird feeling wouldn't last, yeah? Heeeeyyy she could go first. No arguments here. There was a grin for Lottie before she allowed the person manning this post to get her settled and strapped in. Right before the machine started she gave Lottie two thumbs up. Soooooooooooo ready for this. It had looked plenty epic when they were high up. No chance she'd be disappointed. None. The spinning was slow at first, possibly to get her ready but then all of a sudden the movements became sharp, twisting her this way, shifting her that way until everything was moving so quickly that the most she could see where blurs of everything around her. Which way was up? Had she turned the other way now?? AH-MAAAA-ZIIIING!!! By the time they finally ended the 'ride' of sorts and helped her out, she couldn't be sure what she was looking at but there was a wide grin plastered across her face. "That was so unbelievably epic, you gotta try, like now, gooo." Good advice right there while she ensured whatever she had before coming here didn't decide to make a sudden emergency exit. Throwing up wasn't an option. Ever. Just give her a minute. |
Planetarium (post 3) + Cinna SPOILER!!: Cinna!! "I mean... I guess it's possible?" he shrugged. The Aliens thing. But what if there were Aliens out there!!! They were probably the ones responsible for Arithmancy. He'd always known that it was an alien subject. One from out of this world. That'd definitely explain why it's so hard to understand. "We should ask Professor Flamsteed later or something... See if he believes." Professors knew everything, right? AHHH IT WAS STARTING!!! The Gryffindor quickly took his eyes off his friend and glued them to the screen instead. It was just a silly movie. How come he was so excited? .... Maybe it just had to do with the fact that they were doing something COOL outside of class. Field trips were always fun and Zander had always felt as if he'd missed out on them. Most of the time they weren't really open to younger students. Luckily this summer he'd be old enough to even go on the summer trip!!! (There better be another summer trip this year. Hmph.) Then, hearing one of the little creature things on the screen say something about flying saucers, he turned to Cinna. It was HIS turn to ask. "Have you ever seen a flying saucer before?" 'Cause honestly, if Zander had ever seen one then it'd be total confirmation that Aliens were real. Except, since he hadn't ever seen one it was still up in the air. Up for debate. Definitely. |
Post 1: Watching a show at the Planetarium After that slightly nauseating travel via portkey, Sam decided that her first "activity" would not be too physical so she decided to watch a show at the planetarium. Sam consulted the map and headed over to where there was a show. She managed to find herself a seat somewhere in the middle a few moments before the show was due to start. |
#4 Astronaut Training Once the lady got him all strapped up and secure with all the harness stuff, Zeke stepped forward and took hold of the first rail. The moment he did this, they started pulling him up with the lever thing, and WEEEEEEEEEE it was like there was no gravity!!!! Like Professor Botros' class again!!!! Only this time it was well... better? Zeke floated and tried to use his weight to push himself up and away from the rung so that he could grab the next. It wasn't easy work, but he supposed it was the muggle man up the top that was doing the hard work. Heheheheeee. Once he'd managed to complete the activity and returned to earth, hehe, Zeke waited for the lady to unclip him and un-harness him... and then stood to the side to watch and consider where to go next. Deciding he might just sit and ... chill, Zeke figured he'd go and see what that space show thing was about. |
Cafe - Thornton/Maddie Post 5 Quote:
Noticing Maddie she gave the girl a small wave wondering in the back of her mind if she'd be joining them as well. The more the merry right? Plus they had to look out for each other even if one of them was a little 'off' lately. It's not like it was any of their faults really when it was that book that kept appearing around everywhere. Anyways back onto the topic at hand Hady turned her attention back to Thornton. Taking another sip of her drink and savoring the relaxing feeling it gave her she thought about his newest question quite glad for the change of topic. "Well there's lots of fun to be had here. If we're aiming to keep a calm stomach for the time being still then maybe we can head to the Planetarium for a show or we can shake things up and go to the Moonwalk." Both ideas were just fine with her. Or they could do something else as well too. Right now Hady was open to all ideas just so they had a good time. Tucking a strand of stray hair back behind her ear she took another sip of her drink as she looked around the cafe. |
Post 2: Planetarium/Astrobotic Mining The show at the planetarium was pretty good. It was rather interesting hearing about whether or not people are alone in the universe. Sam was more inclined to think that other life forms were more humanoid rather than those little green things that muggle movies and television shows displayed. Next Sam decided to check out the Astrobotic Mining exhibition. According to the brochure she would be using some kind of device to mine moon rocks. Not an everyday occurrence but why not? Samantha had a bit of trouble manoeuvring the device via the remote but she got the hang of it after a few goes. She managed to mine a couple of moon rocks which she was pleased about. Now where to next? |
Cafe w/ Hady 5 - and what about Goldilocks? Quote:
Quote:
"If you blow on it, it might cool off?" he shouted over to her. Sipping his gingerale, he wrapped the rest of his poundcake in its plastic and tucked it in his bag. He considered the state of his stomach and consulted the map as Hady made her suggestions. "Hmmm," he said idly, looking over the various exhibits, tracing his fingers down the descriptions. "I'd like to do the Astronaut training, but I don't think I'm quite up for it yet. So, yes, the Planetarium sounds like a good idea." He looked back over at the other Ravenclaw, scrunching his face up in thought. "Should we invite Maddie to come with us?" |
Post 3: Cafe Samantha was feeling rather hungry and thirsty and so she headed off to the cafe. She used some muggle money to purchase a lemonade and a chicken and salad sandwich. She decided to sit down by herself and slowly ate her sandwich. She thought about the portkey trip and found she had to force herself to keep the last mouthful of sandwich down. Luckily she had bought the lemonade as that always settled her stomach whenever it was feeling a bit off. Sam much preferred when she travelled with her parents. |
Still at Cafe with Thornton and Maddie # 5? Quote:
"We can do the Astronaut training afterwards if you like." Hadleigh suggested figuring it best to take turns with both their choices. If Maddie came along with them then she could pick something as well. That would be most fair to them all. Shifting in her seat she let her eyes land on the Maddie once more and waved her over to them. Her attention shifted back to Thornton then. "We probably should. It would be in everyone's best interest to keep an eye on her just in case." She remembered what the Professor had said about drawing attention to themselves and if they'd left the other girl alone that would most likely happen with her current state of mind. Plus Hogwards students looked out for one another right? |
Tour of the Rocket Tower - Gabe and Adi SPOILER!!: Gabe and Adi So the moon rocks they saw before them weren't the only rocks collected from the moon. There were perhaps dozens of similar samples taken from each of the missions. Interesting...very interesting. Genesis rock? "What's that?" Benny asked, not sure if he was missing something or not. Didn't genesis mean birth or something? It was all really curious and they were supposed to explore and learning on this trip. Didn't all have to be from exhibits. The Gryffindor managed a smile as his best friend answered his tease. Just checking on their status and having a little fun in the process. Yep, that was all he was doing. And watching the Apollo 11 landing on the exhibit they had moved onto after the Russian capsule. As they finished up on the Destination Moon part of the tower, saying good by to Armstrong and Aldrin, Adi asked him for a choice on where to go next. "How about the planetarium?" he suggested after looking again at the map and the various remaining exhibits. Mining didn't really interest him and he wasn't sure of the moonwalk or training. And maybe Gabe would want to continue along with them there. |
Cafe with Thorton and Hadleigh "Why I never," Goldilocks exclaimed, placing the cup of soup back on the counter and ignoring the waving children she could see out of the corner of her eye. How was anyone supposed to enjoy a warm meal when their tongues were in jeopardy of being burned off every time they took a bite? Just like the biggest of the bears who liked his porridge far too hot. It simply wouldn't do. "I don't want it!" She called back to the boy who was speaking to her, hands busy fiddling with her curls. They'd grown quite limp since she'd arrived here and she was sure her ribbons would fall out soon. This day simply wasn't going as planned. Perhaps those two kids who seemed to be watching her had something to cheer her up. Skipping over to them, she casually struck up a conversation while her fingers inched towards the boy's bag stealthily. If she'd seen correctly, he'd slipped some food into there. "You don't s'pose they have any other cafes in this place, do you?" Goldilocks was all smiles and watching both students intently, making sure her hand that was now rifling around in the boy's bag was unseen. That's incredibly germy. He's probably already eaten some of the food and you're not putting that into my body! Goldi was doing her best to ignore the voice but it was growing louder now, 'causing her to rub her forehead with her free hand. I don't want that. With a start, the girl yanked her hand free from the boy's bag, knocking it to the floor. |
onto the Planetarium! + Benny & Gabe ^_^ SPOILER!!: Benny <3 Adi surveyed the Capsule from outside. He wondered how the guy- Yuri, must have felt when he and the Capsule made it to space for the first time. Ecstatic, no doubt. Not to mention relieved. Because that's what Adi would have felt. Planetarium? "Sounds good to meeee! But afterwards, we get something to eat. I'm getting hungry.'' Maybe he could find some kind of chocolate that he hadn't eaten in a while. He started towards the exit. Ohh. Gabe! Adi almost forgot about the shy dude. "Gabe, you coming with us?'' That would be totally cool if he did. He probably would have more facts to pass on to the two younger students. |
Moon walk people! Hehe. Wow. This event was popular. Everyone was coming! "Hey, guys!" she said happily to Cinna, Grayson, Angel, and Flamsteed. It seemed that everyone wanted to jump on the moon too! AJ was funny, and made Lux laugh. "I'm sure I will love the both of you." AJ seemed cool and she was dating Adi and he was one of her friends. It was awesome. "And that sounds like fun!" They would have to take turns doing it, and she was next after Kace. When it was her turn, she headed over to the device thing, smiling at the staff as she sat down like instructed. After she was strapped in, she watched one of the men turn on the machine. It was so exciting and soon she felt like she was actually on the moon. Haha. It was kind of funny because everything felt like it was happening in slow motion but it was also cool at the same time. Wheeeeee, she was moon walking! After it was over, she headed back out to her friends. "Wasn't that cool, Kace!?" |
Planetarium post 4 - Zander Quote:
Great the movie was starting she took her attention of off Zander and looked up. This was cool the WHOLE ceiling was the screen. She watched this was totally cool. The whole field trip they should have way more of these in lieu of regular lessons in the classroom. Although she did have to hand it to the professors they did come up with pretty cool lessons. So Zander was one of those talking during movie people huh? She turned and looked at him. "I though I did one time but I realized it was just a frisbee." She laughed but not too loud. |
Post #1 - Astronaut Training Quote:
She wasn't concerned at all about the guide maps, so she briefly tuned out while Flamsteed explained that to them and instead let her eyes wander, greedily taking in all the sights of the centre. She DID catch the man saying 3:05PM and glanced at her watch - ah, they had PLENTY of time. Astronaut TRAINING! "Yeah!" Though Tobes was the one tugging, Soph was just as eager to go and navigated through the facility till they got to the astronaut training area - and it seemed like many others had the same idea they did. "Everyone's doin' the spinny ball thing. If we do this ladder one first, by the time we're done, everyone should be outta line and we'll get first dibs, I bet." She wiggled her eyebrows at him and gestured excitedly to the ladders, at which time she DID peek at the centre's pamphlet to get some details on it. "We'll get to be WEIGHTLESS! Look at 'em!" She pointed eagerly to the people who were climbing up and down the ladders like it was nothing. WOULDN'T THAT BE FUN? |
Astronaut Training [6] + New activity! Text Cut: NEWTs Lotus watched as her overly-excited and happy friend went on to try this orb on her own. Smiling all the while, of course. The Hogwartian was certain the experience was bound to feel a little like those roller coasters they tested over the summer. Except maybe a bit tougher than that, especially considering you were going to be rotating in one spot at a point. Roller coasters didn't really have that. So, she waited with some others that were making a line now, and beamed as Lex stepped out of the thing completely unharmed and smiling as wide as ever. Good. That was the best sign. As if being told this device was something you ought to try wasn't sign enough. "I'll get on it, then!" Not that she was waiting to find out how it was to try it, she was still getting on that thing even if Lex hadn't approved of it. AND... right, instructions were given and she almost rolled her eyes when people said that she should signal them to stop if it got too tough. Like, you've no idea who you're talking to. Muggles. Have you been hit with a Bludger before? Doubtful. That's when it started, rather gentle at first, she was reminded of those roller coasters until the rotating bit started. Now she really wanted to try the real training facilities cuz if the thing was stronger than this then that was out of this world! Quite literally! LOL! It was over just as quick as it started, which wasn't really good for her head, really. As long as the information she was currently holding was still there, she didn't mind the minor, minor, very minor headache... which was now dissipating. She nodded again at the muggles, while beaming, and stepped out of the orb thing. "That... was awesome," she said, standing next to her bestie, "The real thing must be a hundred times stronger than that." They could ask Airey, no need to keep the people behind her waiting. "Where to next? The Rocket Tower? Or the Planetarium?" Whichever they chose will be just fine. Perhaps a 'movie' was better than an exposition, come to think of it. |
Planetarium [1] SPOILER!!: Lulz muggles experiencing bludgers. OUCH Is THAT what it looked like while she was in there? It might have been the room still spinning some but everything just looked so much cooler right now. If there was time they'd have to come back to this place because she definitely wanted to try this again. Most definitely. Even Lottie's reaction was in line with hers and she was nodding along to the talk that the real thing must have been waaay better. Shame they'd never know..or not shame since out of control spaceships weren't exactly a GOOD thing. Thankfully everything went back to normal by the time Lottie got released from the spinning orb of doom or she might have been inclined to ask what a Planetarium was. No worries, brain function back to a maximum. "We should do the Planetarium. I got a glimpse of it while we walked over here and it looked neat." That was all the reason ever to check it out so with her arm linked with Lottie's once more, she led her right on over. Entering, she realized that whatever they'd be showing was just about ready to start so she tugged her bestfriend somewhere down to the middle of the dark room where she found two seats by the end. The end was good. If something went wrong, they wouldn't be bumping into idiots just trying to get out. Admittedly not the most adventurous but they weren't allowed magic so it was the next best thing. Lex watched the big headed figures appear on the wide 3 dimensional screen. "Aliens? We're learning about Aliens?" Hang on...she leaned a little closer to Lottie. "What are Aliens?" |
Planetarium Dot had managed to lose Kyroh at some point (not surprising), and she was trotting about looking for someone to keep her company as she explored the rest of the science centre. And there was Lex... and some other girl. Dot changed directions and headed after the older girls, keeping a careful distance until they were seated. And then she climbed over them and took up an empty seat on the otherside. "Hi, Lexor. I lost my Kyroh, so I'll sit with you. I'll be so quiet you won't know I'm here." Starting... right now. Dot covered her hand with her mouth and gazed solemnly at the ceiling. It was kind of... dizzy-making, and her stomach still hurt from that spinning chair. |
Maddie & Hady in the Cafe 6 SPOILER!!: Hady and Maddilocks Thornton was about to respond to Hady when Maddie skipped over. Putting his map down, Thornton watched her carefully, unsure what story she was currently thinking herself a part of and what might set her off. He did not noticed her attempts to get into his bag, however. He frowned at her question. "No, I don't think so," he said, looking at the map. "This is the only one." He looked to Hady, who had agreed they should invite Maddie along. "We were going to go to the Planetarium if you wanted..." but then, Maddie jerked her hand and his bag hit the ground. Looking first at it, he picked it up, and then returned his gaze to Maddie, frowning. "If you wanted something out of my bag, you could have just asked." |
Tour of the Rocket Tower/ off to the Planetarium: Post 4 / Adi and Benny Gabe didn't know what to think of Adi and Benny taking an interest in what he had to say. People so rarely did....even though, he had loads to offer in the information department. He just read a lot of books about everything, which was apparently a mark of Ravenclaw House. To set himself apart, though, Gabe had decided to believe it was simply a Gabe!thing. "The, uh, Genesis Rock was pulled by the Apollo 15 in 1971....and was erm, called that because, at the time, they thought it was part of the uh, moon's primordial crust....which basically means that they thought it was as old as the actual formation of the solar system." He'd fully settled into the topic and was now taking several pictures...as he rattled off facts. Again, he'd read a lot of books...especially where science was involved. ".....However, scientists disproved that..." One reason why he'd wanted to be one, thank you very much. Scientists always uncover the truth. "It's on display in the States now........." OH, THE BLUE STREAK ROCKET. Gabe excited snapped more pictures, getting every angle of the display. THIS was what he'd wanted to see. After a few moments, he tucked the camera away, writing again. ............And was he being invited to go? To the Planetarium with them? BLUSH. ......."I was, uh, going there next.....if, erm.....that's okay." |
Cafe and thorton and Hadleigh Goldilocks was starting to feel quite strange and it didn't help that she'd been caught red handed. She knew from experience what could happen when you touched things that didn't belong to you and while this boy looked much less threatening than a family of bears, he could certainly cause a scene. Naturally this was a fight or flight situation. "I don't know what you--" And she ran off. Flight was much more her style, y'see. Sorry kiddos. |
2 - Activity 1 - Astronaut Training Quote:
That... that looked pretty awesome. Toby smiled and gave a firm nod and headed straight over there, while there were still a couple of adjacent ladders free. "D'you reckon we can persuade Airey to set up a room with stuff like this back at school?" he asked Soph whilst getting all set up in a helmet and harness. Toby was ABOUT to mention how it could probably be made super authentic using magic and stuff, before remembering at the last second that they were surrounded by muggles. Right. No breaking the law or making Airey upset. Once he got the okay from the muggle lady helping him get set up, Toby started forward and began to climb the ladder. Except... short arms, short legs, harness restricting his range of movement, it was a bit tricky to start with. But he got into the swing of it, and was soon clambering up to the top of the big yellow ladder, looking around to see how Soph was doing. If they both hit the top of the ladder at the same time, they could both go weightless at the same time too. |
Rocket Tower to Planetarium - Adi and Gabe SPOILER!!: Adi and Gabe Gabe continued to be a fount of information. Benny listened as the other boy answered his question, giving him the details on the Genesis rock. As old as the solar system itself...that certainly matched his thoughts on the significance of its name. "Cool... " he said simply with a look of interest. Even if the assumed history had turned out to be wrong in the end. Shame it was in the states too but then technically it was their rightful property given NASA was an American organization. So Planetarium it was for them as Adi agreed to his suggestion. "Alright," Benny agreed in in return with a nod of his own. He could go some food himself eventually too. They were spending a good amount of time walking around and climbing and exploring and it was all bound to work off energy they had gained from their last meal, whatever it had been for each of them. The Gryffindor paused alongside his friend as the Hufflepuff did as they were about to leave, waiting to see what response they got from their Ravenclaw companion. "That's fine," he assured Gabe, turning back to the front to lead their little group in the way they should go. What with the map still in hand and attention paid to any signs that were provided. Soon enough they were at the planetarium and being politely ushered inside to take seats so they could see the show that was just about to begin. Benny obediantly followed the direction, taking a seat in a chair near the center of the half-dark auditorium, plenty of room for his two companions to join beside him. |
Post #2 - Astronaut Training Text Cut: Tobes Soph was SUPER excited that Tobes was game and hurried over to the ladder activity with him, quick to set her bag down and take the ladder right next to the one Tobes chose. She was BEAMING at the Muggle lady as she set her up and gave her some instructions, putting her arms up automatically as the woman began strapping her in. "I wouldn't be surprised by anything like that at this point with him," Soph grinned over at Tobes, briefly looking out over the large number of people before them to see if she could spot Flamsteed anywhere - what activity would HE have wanted to go see first, hm? Certainly he was like a kid in a candy store at a place like this and he would take part in the various events, too. Maybe they'd run into him later. That'd be loads of fun, wouldn't it? Getting to see him geek out maybe even more than usual? Her attendant took a little longer to get Soph's harness on and get her all set up than Toby's attendant had so she started her climb about ten seconds after Tobes, but she took the challenge upon her to hurry and gain some ground on him. Nimble and swift, Soph navigated her way up the ladder, her movements fluid and her gaze shifting over to Tobes next to her every now and then, a big grin on her face the whole time. Soon enough she had reached his height on her own ladder and slowed her pace so that they both reached the top at the same time - or mostly, for she made sure her hand reached the topmost rung before his by like half a second. Hehehehehe. She opened her mouth to say something, but their attendants were giving them instructions, so Soph listened, and as the woman played around with the weights for her harness system, she gave Tobes a thumbs up. THEY WERE ALMOST WEIGHTLESS. When the woman gave them the go-ahead, she peeked back down toward the ground where they were being told what to do and, slooowly but surely, Soph let her feet hang off the ladder rung and "weightlessly" made her way down the ladder. "Tooooooooooooobes," she giggled, peeking over at him as it was like she was FLOATING and GRAVITY COULDN'T HOLD HER DOWN. "This is so weeee-he-heeeird." Lots of laughter. Lots of FUN. Up and down the rungs she went, testing out how super easy it was to go from the bottom to the top, sharing delighted grins with Tobes as she did so. |
planetarium post 2 Dec made his way into the planetarium, selecting a seat smack in the middle. Y'know so he could take in the whole thing from all sides. Now this was exciting...for muggle terms. He did go to a school where excitement was an understatement. The film being shown was about aliens. ALIENS. This was going to be so cool!! When the show began, Dec couldn't help but ooh and aah under his breath at the spectacular 4D adventure. This was way cool. He'd have to ask his family to come with next time. |
Post #3; Moonwalking! Quote:
Awesome to the extreme? Grayson let out a chuckle at that before saying, "Now there's an equation I CAN agree with." Uh huh! "It also means that said awesome people have gotta stick together more." Just saying, Cinna. And why was she calling him Whitlock? SURELY they had reached the first name basis, hadn't they? ANYWAYS. It was time to be FREAKING ASTRONAUTS! "Brilliant!" he said, right before heading over to grab an astronaut costume for himself and strap it on. And their group had expanded, hadn't it? Not only were there him and Cinna and Kace, little Norah, Lux, two of the Gryffindor triplets -- did they go everywhere together or what? -- and Flamsteed himself. He gave them all 'sup nods while he got himself strapped in for the moonwalk. This was gonna be BRILLIANT! "Hey, Cinna! Let's take a picture together!" |
