After a long hard day of hunting, and lessons, or even just a busy weekend, your dormitories will be your haven. It will be more than just your home away from home, and it is the place where you can come and relax after a long day or a late night.
The four poster beds are surprisingly comfortable, and it's easy to get lost in the smooth red velvet covers. Should you want some privacy from your chatty dorm mates, feel free to close the hangings around you and lose yourself in sleep.

Despite there only being two rooms per year listed above, IC there are obviously more rooms in the tower. After all, there are 9551 students in the school and about 2387 of those are Gryffindors. This is just meant to help create more of an IC feel for you as to your character's housing situation.

Still couldn't get used to all the red.
Heather had at least gotten to know the names of her dorm mates, even if she didn't know them very well yet, and was settling in nicely. Or, as nicely as one could in a school, anyway. There was just one thing missing. Posters. Which she planned to fix now. She had asked her uncles to send some posters and that easy stick, easy remove stuff from home, which they had. She chose one of the Parthenon and set to work attaching it the the wall beside her bed.

Was the drawing she was rummaging through even hers? Nope. Most definitely not. She was looking to see if any of her fellow roomies had a particularly cool looking hat to go with her outfit. She wasn't even planning on going outside today. Nope. She was just going to hang out in the common room but that didn't mean she couldn't wear a hat.

Oh wow that was a cute shirt. Could she borrow it? She was going to do it anyways. She held it up to herself, wondering if she would fit it. Hmm... cute.
She made a mental note to borrow that some time as she stuffed it back into the drawer.

There was roman architecture being pinned to the wall? Puck blinked dumbfounded at the girl for a moment. This had to be the girl with the long last name right? Heather?
She was greek wasn’t she? That would make total sense.
DID THIS MEAN SHE’D BE SENT GREEK FOOD? Greek foods she could possibly trade for? Or borrow! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. She hoped that she’d at least be sent Dolmas or Loukoumades. God, she’d love the girl if she’d be able to get decent or even amazing…amazing would be preferable, greek food from her.
“Hey you must be Heather Xanthopo…Xanthapoulos?” She asked and sent a nice and not-over-excited grin to the girl. “I’m Puck Greyvson” she introduced herself to the girl and smiled. Oh god, she was going to be in this room for what? Six months? Something like that. She just hoped she got along with her....wait, it'd be longer wouldn't it? She'd be in this and then the other dorms with her too for the next three years? She REALLY hoped she got along with ALL of these girls. She thought as she made her way to her trunk and promptly sat herself on top of it, one leg folded beneath her the other folded and held against her chest.

Sassy looks were totally given as Abbi entered the room just in time to see one of her dorm mates putting away one of her shirts back into her drawer. Too bad for the girl that Abbi hadn't stopped by at the common room a few moments. TOO BAD. Or well okay..maybe not that bad..cause like she was in a good mood and so the sassiness WOULD be there ALRIGHT but probably at a MUCH lower degree.

She was pretty sure it was, but it was always good to get a second opinion. And yes, she would be getting sent food, not just Greek, but Turkish and Italian as well.
"Hello Puck, it's nice to meet you." Hopefully, they would be getting along. Because she hadn’t really gotten along with her dorm mates at Beauxbatons. Something about them having problems with the food she was being sent and her wanting to share. Silly Frenchies and their figures.

Alina was sat by the fire staring absently into the dancing flames. she felt content, this was where she belongs. she though of the year she had ahead and couldn't wait to explore the castle, and make new friends.
Angel looked at the dorms assignment and sighed, seriously why was her sister in a different room to her... she had never been away from her sister in her life and now she was sleeping in a different room. Seriously what else could go wrong this year.

Walking through the entrance, AJ spotted her sister. "Can you believe they split us up?" It had to of been on purpose. Did it have anything to do with all the drama that happened at the feast? Because that should have just proved that Abby was crazy, not her.

Puck grinned when she heard that she had said the girls name right. That’s good…it’d be better than calling her some god-awful rendition of her name that just was so offensively bad it was laughable. ”Aw good I hoped I was I didn’t want to accidentally call you Zanatakkos or something like that” she offered referencing the muggle show she had seen those years before….what she liked mystery-action-things.
Tipping her head from side to side she made sure to look at the poster from all angles she could easily see…”I think its upside-down,” though with the giant smirking grin on her face it was obvious. So obvious that she was kidding. ”sorry couldn’t help that, but, yeah it looks straight” she nodded.
”So….are you a transfer or are you a continuing Hogwarts student?” she asked with a grin. Because obviously she wouldn't recognize her face.

Angel put on her thoughtful face. "I've got it." Angel beamed. "I've got an idea." Angel looked at her sister. "They must sleep sometimes... maybe we can ask the Head if we can do a thank you card to them for all the hard work they do." Angel wanted to become friends with one of the house elves.
Angel sighed... Her sister hadn't left this was no good. "I eh... I eh... Well he kissed me and stuff but was shy around me so... I asked him out." Angel had a funny feeling her sister would call her crazy. "But well we were both nervous and I just thought it was a good opportunity and he said yes." Angel loved the fact they were a couple now. "You going to tell me about Adi?" Angel smirked. "I can see in your eyes something has happened." Angel giggled. "You even say his name differently now." Angel giggled. "You go all dreamily when you say it." Angel then looked at her sister.
"YOUR IN LOVE!!!!!!!!! AJ VALENTINE!!" Angel tickled her sister. "You want to tell me why you are acting so differently.
AJ nodded as Angel confirmed that she meant outside of their classes. "You've seen him about as much as I have, I'm sure." AJ loved spending time with him, but she didn't want to come across as clingy. They both had their own lives. At the mention of Abby's name, AJ began to frown. "No I haven't." And she didn't really want to either. "Did she ever apologize to you?" She had said that she would, and AJ fully intended on making sure that Abby followed through.
The second year smiled. "Angel, that's a great idea." The creatures really did a lot for them. It would be super nice to show their thanks. AJ had wanted her own house elf ever since she knew they existed. Professor no fun made sure to crush that dream right along with the unicorn ownership. "Maybe we can make them a little gift too." Then again there had to be tons of house elves at Hogwarts, and AJ didn't have that kind of time.
Was Angel a gryffindor or what? "You actually asked him out? What was that like?" AJ didn't have to worry about Adi never asking her out, but Benny was super shy, and who knew how long he would have taken. If Angel hand't made the first move she doubted that they would be a couple right now. It was only fair to answer Angel's questions about Adi. "Adi told me that I was the coolest, and most beautiful girl there was and asked me out." She was beaming. "You can tell a difference in me?" The lion certainly did feel happier, but she didn't know that it was showing so much.
Tickles. Everybody had a thing for tickling her. "Angel..." She couldn't stop laughing, and the lion tried to tickled Angel back. "I don't know if I love him, but I do like him a lot." A lot, a lot.

Angel stuck her tongue out. "Miracles do happen." Angel thought about what AJ was saying. "We could get them something for the whole group." Angel would try and think of something.
"It was weird and very hard." Angel had hoped that Ben would ask her out. "I think Ben is a bit shy and well since he's a hunk and I didn't want him taken in the end I decided to ask him out." Angel gave her best angelic smile. "He kissed me first otherwise I wouldn't have been brave enough."
"Oh yes MISS VALENTINE, I can tell a HUGE difference in you." Angel laughed. "Your working hard and not doing anything like what you did at our old school." Angel looked at her sister before nudging her. "I assumed you wanted Prefect Adi to be impressed with you."
Angel then started giggling when AJ ticked her back. "AJ!! you.....r in lo....lov....love." Angel couldn't stop the giggles. "ser...I....ou....sly yo....you...you'll be as....ask....asking him to.. marr...marry y...ou s....oo...soo...soon." Angel teased her sister.

"I think we should talk to Airey first." No need to go to the headmistress about giving out cards to elves. He was their head of house for a reason. "Of course it does." Though, why offering presents to those elves made it seem like her brain worked was beyond her. "I don't manage to always be on the top leader board for dumb luck." Effort went into that, and you couldn't be an idiot. "I like the group idea better." Less work that way.

Her eyes were twinkling with delight. As far as the marriage thing went... "I'm not asking anybody to marry me." Now not, and not fifteen years down the road. Nope, nope, nope.

Once the soda settled down, AJ brought it to her lips and took a sip. Your move, Angel.

"Your losing your touch." Angel smiled. "Because your in love with a certain Hufflepuff prefect." Angel taunted her sister. "Seriously our muggle teachers would be shocked at the change in you." Angel smirked.
"Oh yeah sis I am declaring war." Angel was totally enjoying this but then she was getting a face full or soda and now it was her move and well she was going to get her sister back... she playfully kicked her sister off her bed. "Hehehe." Angel giggled as she looked down at her sis. Go on them AJ your move.
