*Making sure that his trunk and owl were packed up properly he dusted his hands off and headed out to look for an empty compartment. This was a very unlikely task but he would at least try. As he got to the door he ran back as his owl made a short screech.*
"Sorry, sorry, sorry."
*Pulling out a few treat pellets he pushed them into the cage of his families owl Feather Duster, or FD for short.*
"There you go, I'll give you some more later tonight alright."
*Once FD got his treats Romulus had become unimportant and therefore invisible. Shaking his head Rom headed back to his empty compartment task.*

Bree entered luggage area of the train and dropped off her cart as well as her kitten Dee Dee in her comfortable carrier. It was quite the surprise when her cat Dexter was found out to be girl who had kittens just a month before and she managed to wean one just in time to take to Hogwarts with her. The little golden fuzz ball looked toward Bree with a longing to be freed and she took her out for just a moment and cuddled her. The mewed into her cheek and and Bree giggled lightly as she put the kitten back in her carrier. As she closed the door the kitten gave her those same longing eyes. "Awe Mittens, I love you and I'll be back soon. With that she turned and headed for for train compartments.

Fully expecting some sort of Quidditch news - exciting news - Theo cheerfully left the prefects' compartment in search for his captain, until he found him in the luggage compartment. Oooh, maybe he had been scouted by the biggest team in the world, that's why West had called him out on his own. "Hey, what was up with all that, then??" The Headmistress whisking him away and all.

As much as it was exciting, it could have waited until they had gotten to school suuuuurely.

Oh man.

West didn't want to be a downer or anything, knowing his best mate was in a good mood and everything with his new badge and all...

He gave him a searching look, then cast muffliato around them so that their conversation would remain private. Because he was REALLY paranoid now. Death threats? Well yeah obviously it was serious business.

"I.... I mean.... she cancelled Quidditch." He said, cutting to the chase. "The school received death threats about Quidditch. I don't know any more than that. I just... wanted you to be the first to know." And the first to understand that what it meant for West personally, since Theo would get that too.

Well okay then... West didn't look as excited as he was feeling, unless it was bad news. What bad news could the Headmistress possibly have about Quidditch? And what could be so bad that West needed to cast a privacy spell over them? What the heck was going on??? Theo's face turned serious in a matter of seconds, and stayed that way when he finally revealed all.

Huh?

"You what?" Something about Quidditch being cancelled? Theo pressed his eyebrows together and finally cracked a smile. "You're pulling my leg, right?" Theo laughed. HA HA. Actually... it was kinda mean, so he obviously soon realized that West wouldn't do that to him, and then his expression hardened once again.

"Are you serious?" He closed the gap between them, as if he thought the privacy spell wasn't enough or something.

"Mm... yeah. M'serious. Me and Mo are being forced to step down... Kaiden too, but he's gonna be a prefect now." Obviously there wasn't any such offer for him or Mo given Theo and Nigel already held those badges... not that West would want it. What he wanted was how it had been only a short while ago with Theo and Cassia and himself as Slytherin's student leaders just as they'd planned it in first year. "I guess they knew about this a while ago... because they never replaced the Gryffindor Captain." Easier to say that... than mention her by name right now. But really what that meant was that they had known about this... and waited until the train before telling them. It felt cruel.

"I'm... I'm not captain anymore." He said, hating that the words made it real.

Theodore couldn't quite believe what he was hearing right now. "It's... cancelled... for the whole term?" Why couldn't the Headmistress, oh I dunno, call the wizard police to save them all? If people just dropped everything because of a threat then the world would be a pretty easy place for criminals to live in. Pssht... GRRR... HE WAS IN A RAGE.

"This is..." Theo clenched his fists tightly together and suppressed a growl... "... this sucks. They can't do this." This was supposed to be HIS term. He had so much that he wanted to prove to everyone. But yeah, he would air his truest emotions towards it in the dormitory later, no doubt. For now he tried to keep a lid on it for his friend's sake, because whatever he was feeling wouldn't be a patch on what West was. Having his role taken away was so... final.

Theo grasped West's shoulder and gave him a gentle shake. "You okay?"

Yep.

"Indefinitely." He said quietly, watching Theo's reaction. Yeah. Sucks. It did suck. But he shrugged at the 'they can't do this'. Clearly they could and did.

".... no." No he wasn't. Not really. "I'm trying to be." It hadn't really sunk in yet. "I don't know. I guess... I wanna be strong for the team. I want to tell everyone before the feast because no doubt its going to be announced there."

[SIZE="3"]Lucy had walked into Luggage compartment to take her sandwich from the trunk..she was very hungry!But the compartment was so full of stuff... so she went away immediately!!!

Theo was frowning at the ground the whole time now. It was all kinda typical really. Their last term. His final year to prove himself as a Hogwarts Quidditch legend. The worst part was definitely that he had been on the team every term of his school years and this would break it. Six terms on the school team he'd have to write on his resume.

Why was he thinking resumes already?

"Is there nothing we can do? Protest? Find whose giving out these threats and stop them?" Like Harry Potter and his gang would have done. He'd bet they would anyway. Didn't know them personally!!

"You sound like a Gryffindor." West said quietly, giving his friend a small smile. "We can do anything until we have more information. Its pretty serious from the sound of it. Life and death even. I will talk to my sources though, see if I can find out more."

West Odessa former Slytherin Captain, had sources alright? Gosh.

"But don't stress. We'll find a way to practice together. I'll ask about a flying club or something... and if they say no, then we'll meet in secret somewhere."

How was it that she had ended up bringing so much stuff? It wasn't like she had tons of clothes packs or anything like that. She did have a trunk full of school books, some clothes, candy, and some other stuff. She also had an owl cage and a cat cage. Why did she bring that menace? She had just got him yesterday. He was cute. It was kind of the point of why her dad bought her the cat since she couldn't bring quackers to school with her.

She pushed stache's owl cage into a luggage rack and gave her a treat. Thankfully after the mishap on the platform with the rub-a-way cat. She thought it best to just go ahead and put the bugger in the cage until they got on the train. She let the cat out. "Stay here, I mean it!" The cat came out of the cage and gave her a reproachful look before flicking his tail at her. She tossed the empty cat cage with the owl cage.

Now for her trunk. She tried to pick it up. How was it that heavy? She didn't have a lot of stuff in it. So she tried again. It didn't do anything. She noticed two older boys there. They looked to busy talking. So she wouldn't bother them. A girl was there too but she looked younger than her. How was she going to help her lift the trunk? So she flopped down on her trunk. Maybe someone would come soon that could help.

Angel had lost everyone, which was good because she was totally annoyed with her sister, she heaved her trunk which was really heavy and she wanted to just get it away from herself, so she could just go somewhere and figure out what she was going to do about Aubrey. It was like her sister didn't care that she had been hurt and that she had done something bad and she wouldn't be surprised if her sister just went to that awful place again.

Cutty had a lot of stuff. Like, ALOT of stuff for a dude. Now, most of it was sellable product and he never seemed to carry back as many full pieces of luggage as he took with him to the castle, especially not after Cambridge had gotten to him. Where was Cambridge? He'd read about how little notes of gratitude and something called lagniappe were useful when securing business and so he'd brought her back a chocolate Sphinx from Egypt.

It was fat chance selling anything on the ride over with the food trolies pushing their wares, so he never liked to try. But he did like to periodically check on his inventory. He moved to the luggage compartments and was about to count his pieces when he saw some girl struggling. He was sure he hadn't seen her before. She had to be at least his age, maybe even a bit older, but not by much.

"Wot'yer doin'?" He asked calmly.
