That's what her mom had suggested, anyway. Yeah. Maybe next summer.. Next summer. She would be HOME! She'll get to see all her friends (she really did miss them), go swimming in the ocean and laze around on the beach all day.. Yep, it'll be fun.

Of course, Paris was beautiful. Delilah grinned at Cat and raised an eyebrow curiously. "Who is Mo, exactly?" The name sounded faintly familiar but she was pretty sure she hadn't met him before.

Oh. "Oh. Duh, Caterina." She spoke to herself, "Sorry. I forgot. I'm just used to everyone knowing him already." Because it certainly did seem like everyone did, whether or not that was always a good thing, she wasn't sure. She shrugged, and nibbled on an apple. "Marcus Branxton. He's my boyfriend." Nod, chew, nod, nod, chew.

She grinned at Delilah after the apple slice had been all chewed and swallowed and in her tummy. Hmm. Talking about boyfriends was always a fun thing, right? "Do you have a boyfriend? At home?" Come to think of it, "Where is home for you, anyway?"

All the sweets and just sitting around all summer had made her a little slow on her feet. She didn't need to be slow during quidditch season. Nope. Because she wanted to win this term.

Addi stopped to catch her breath, looking around. The lake was quite busy which made sense. It was such a nice day out and it was a good place to spend time. A couple more laps and then she'd actually have a seat and enjoy it. But a few more minutes rest before she started again.

Christmas wandered down to the lake and smiled she was going to miss this place when she saw a girl running and said "Trying to get prepared for qudditch tryouts"

Adelaide looked up at the girl that had approached her. She definitely recognized her from quidditch last term. Her name though, well it wasn't that easy to learn names during a match when you were focused on not getting hit by bludgers. "Yeah. I got a little out of shape this summer. You play for Gryffindor right?"

Adelaide smiled, glad she'd place the girl correctly. "I thought I recognized you. I'm hoping for the same thing for Slytherin." Because who knew what new talent would show up this year. Maybe she wouldn't make the team at all. But she was going to look on the bright side of things. She nodded. "Try living in muggle London and not being able to do much of anything."

Oh good. At least this girl understood Adelaide's predicament. "Exactly. Even if I had the space I couldn't practice flying." She gave the gryffindor a warm smile. "I'm Adelaide."

Adelaide shrugged. "I've been working on the pitch with flying too, but sometimes for practices we run laps. It does help with speed and things." Those practices always sucked, but it kept agility and endurance up. "Nice to meet you too."

"Yeah, it certainly is easier on a person if they're younger and can't remember it as well.. I'm sorry it was hard on your father though.." Emma replied, her voice soft. It was always hard talking about her life, but even harder seeing the pain in others.

She smiled, grateful to know that at least someone didn't find a bunch of faults about her. "Thank you so much, Michael. That means a lot to me, really. You're very kind." She watched him carefully as he handed her a tissue. Oh. There must have been something on her face. She wiped off the dirty culprit immediately upon finding it on her cheek. There. Much better.

Oh how sad. It had to be awful not to be able to keep in touch with his siblings. She couldn't even imagine what he was going through. "Oh. I'm so sorry, that must be really hard to deal with sometimes."

"Well, I'm glad that you've gone through life without want.. at least materialistically speaking.." Emma smiled, laughing when he mentioned his wild side.

"I suppose that's where the Griffindor comes out, eh?" She giggled, thinking back to when she had first been sorted, desperate to be a Griffindor like her mother. It was okay though, she had come to terms with being sorted into Ravenclaw, the tower was now like a second home in itself. "Ooh! A ferret? I looooove ferrets! I always wanted one!" Emma exclaimed, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink when she realized exactly how loud her outburst had been.

"Oops. Sorry."

Now it was time for the main event: Fishing.

"First one to catch anything gets a chocolate frog!"

"Thanks. But he's okay now and he tells me that he learned stuff from it." Of course his father hadn't elaborated on what that was and Michael had a feeling he probably wouldn't understand anyway. That was adult stuff. He gave Emma a warm smile. "No need to thank me. I'm only speaking the truth." He watched while she wiped off the mud, making sure that she got it all. Even though she did look cute with mud on her face.

He shrugged his shoulders. "This may sound harsh but I can't miss what I've never really had." He had only seen the twins a few times and he was so young himself that he hadn't really understood who they were to him. Maybe when he was older he could talk to his mother about them again.

"Yeah apparently we Gryffindors are a bit wild and reckless." It was definitely a thing with them. "I wouldn't have pegged you for a Ravenclaw though. Shouldn't you be somewhere quiet with your head stuck in a book?" He poked his tongue out at her to let her know that he was just teasing her.

And then they were off and running towards the dock once again and he burst out laughing. "Chocolate frogs? Come on surely you can think of something better than that?" She was a Ravenclaw after all.

She nodded, stretching a little while she stood there. Adelaide didn't need her muscles locking up on her. "I've only played chaser in practices. I like being a beater." It was nice. Good stress reliever.

Addi nodded. "I've noticed that. But last term was my first time ever playing quidditch, so I really have no idea on how to play anything other than beater." It would be interesting to play other positions though. But if she made the team, she knew West would put her where she belonged.

Adelaide nodded, listening. "I just rode a broom for the first time last term." It still shocked her she even made the team. Derry must've been a good teacher. "I'm hoping so too. A lot of new people are trying out and they might be more qualified than I am." You know, playing more when they were younger and stuff. She smiled. "Best of luck with that. I have no idea what I want to do after Hogwarts. I should probably figure that out soon..."

"Don't remind me." One more year was not a very long time to make up her mind. Adelaide mainly needed to decide if she still wanted magic in her life, which was most likely going to be a yes. "I mean, I've wanted to become a teacher for a while now, probably Charms, but I love baking. I have like 3 notebooks filled with my own recipes."

"It's just so hard to decide now. But putting it off isn't going to help." Maybe she could talk to some professors about it or something. Way out her options.

Delilah laughed at her friend. "You like talking to yourself, don't you?" Right. So, this Mo guy must be really popular.. weird how Delilah didn't even know him. Maybe she'd seen him in class or something. Ooh, that was certainly an interesting last name. Branxton. Yep, she approved. "Tell me more about him. Is he an awesome boyfriend?"

... Boyfriend talk. She didn't like talking about love life at all. Mainly because she didn't have one. "No. I've never had a boyfriend." Why? Because she still hadn't met anyone who made her feel special. It was as simple as that. "I'm from Miami." She turned to look at Cat with a smile.

Addi smiled. It was like Christmas had read her mind. "I've been thinking about that. There's at least one I feel comfortable enough talking to that about."

Charlotte was still leading the way to the lake and since she still hadn't heard Jun complain at all, she figured maybe he was just not going to complain about his fear of water. That would be cool too. She made it just to the top of the little hill that led to the water and stopped, looking out at the people fishing and swimming and relaxing. Maybe sitting around here would help her remember the password.

"So," She turned around to look at the Candy Giant, hoping he was still behind her somewhere. "I really think this might help me remember. Is this okay?" It was perfectly fine with her, even though she didn't have a swimsuit or anything...because she didn't actually have a way of getting her swimsuit at the moment. At least this way she could keep Jun company. This was his idea, after all.

Jun wasn't really paying attention to wear he was being lead to. He just knew they were on the grounds, and didn't question much about it. Reaching the top of a little hill, Jun jolted to a stop and didn't move. He didn't say anything. Jun just stayed in the same spot and stood quiet. Though he felt his heart racing a bit faster, he still didn't say a word. Lottie might get mad if he started complaining again.

No, Lolli. Being here was NOT OKAY.
AT ALL.

But Jun nodded. He sat down and put his hands behind his head; laying down in the process. "Here, you get fresh air and all. It'll come back to you soon," Too bad Jun wanted out. It was all his cousin's fault he couldn't stand water. How was he going to deal for when he went on vacation? He couldn't even deal with it back home. The tie-dye boy closed his eyes and sighed. Hopefully Lolli's passwork would come back soon.
