Bri nodded at Bay's reply. He didn't truly answer her question, but she understand why.

Nodding, Lux happily took the sandwich from Bay handing the Puff over to him before taking a bite. She thought that the food tasted good, and she was not sure why he thought she would hate it. Yummy cucumber sandwiches. "There is no need to be nervous. We have Christmas to help us if we get lost," she pointed out before taking another bite of her food.

"You're alright, Christmas." The girl seemed nice and not girly, so that made her happy. She got enough of that from her sister when she was at home.

Christmas smiled at Lux and said "Yeah thanks Lux i will make sure that you do not get lost and make sure you know your way around the castle before the term finishes"

"Hey Bri, did you want any snacks.. I think I have a bag of carrots in my bag too?" he said while making sure they were in there. moving his hands around he felt the little plastic baggy that had the carrots. Yup they were there.

Bay just watched Lux eat the sandwich….. he's pretty sure his mouth dropped. "you… ermmm..actually like those things.. maybe I should tell my mother and during the summer you can come over for dinner… I can sneak you the foods I don't want to eat." while still starring at her.

"your very nice Christmas… so.. ermm.. do you have certain people you like to hang out with?" smooth Bay very smooth. He was hoping to get more information on her relationship status, but he didn't want to ask her so bluntly.

Christmas smiled and said "Well i just hang out with everyone who im friends with Bay which means i just have friends" Christmas was thinking that Bay was trying to figure out something which Christmas couldnt put her finger on at the moment

Really, Caleb?!

Sophie frowned. "Caleb," she said, as if she was scolding a two-year-old or something, "I said I'd invited her to sit with us, and she said no. Does that make her a good beast...or a bad beast?" If he couldn't figure it out by that point, it was hopeless.

Sophie paused, giving Caleb a raised eyebrow look. Whaaa? He'd just agreed to not like her? Just because Sophie said so?! In a rare moment, Sophie reached out and gave him a BIG HUG. She then ahem'ed and got back to regular Sophie mode.

"Nope, no name," she said. "This girl is UP to something, though. Don't let her get to you, Caleb. Don't let your guards down!" Something also told Sophie Nox was no longer safe with this new girl around. "Maybe she'll end up in Gryffindor," Sophie muttered.

Sander couldn't help but laugh, when Huxley took his hand and wiped her wand free of his snot...then to top it off...she wiped her hands on his shirt.

"Hey thanks for doing that. I was trying to find a good reason to change my shirt. But don't worry I won't do it in front of you women. You might not be able to handle my masculinity" Sander winked at three girls sharing the compartment with him.

He highly expected Huxley to make a smart comment about what he had said, and he couldn't wait to see what it was.

But other than that Sander was only teasing. He knew how to be a gentleman when the time required it.....like now.

So he stood up and did the gentlemanly thing.....and sat down on the floor of the compartment.

"You can have the window seat if you want. You definitely need the space more than me. In fact, I highly suggest you do. It will definitely help with your nose problem too." he told Huxley barely managing to hold in a smile.

........yes the hoity toity nose problem she seemed to have.

....wait! What? Now she was dangling the puffy thing in front of the cat he was holding?...that was oh so not right.

Sander immediately pulled the cat away from the puff but in the process dropped the cat in Huxley's lap.

O_o.....more cat hair on clothing....YES!!...Sander quickly picked up the cat and grinned sheepily at Huxley.

"Ooops...sorry. She just slipped out from my hands." before turning quickly away to hide a smile.

"So Mika do I get to keep the cat? I could use one to help me with my own experiments." he asked his other Ravenclaw friend.

.....yes...yes...nod...nod....he had secret plans of his own while he was going to be in Hogwarts....but he wasn't telling anyone yet.

.....that's when realized that he had totally ignored the other quiet girl in the compartment.



Sander smiled apologetically at the girl, "I apologize for the chaos here. She started it...." pointing to Huxley...before quickly taking back his finger.

"It's nice to meet you, Alex. Hey you have the same name as I do. My full name is Aleksander but my friends call me Sander, because there always seems to be either an Alec or Alex wherever I am. At least, people can call out the name Alex here and I know they aren't calling me." Sander grinned back at the girl.

"So you're another Ravenclaw and a seventh year? I'm a seventh year but I haven't been sorted yet. I hope I get to be a Ravenclaw, because more of the people I know are from there.....or maybe Gryffindor. Callie is hoping that she'll be sorted into that house."

.....okay Sander enough of monopolizing her time.

Yeah. So Silas had held all of his nerves in until he got on the big, noisy train. Clinging to his rucksack he grimaced as he side stepped a few older kids on his way to an empty compartment?

Maybe he could like... turn on a smile for the people around him and they'd just flock to him. He was a McLaggen after all...

No. That's not the attitude to have! Steeling himself for possible rejection (chyeaaaah right) he turned and smiled... and no sound came out and his knees kind of locked. Crapola.

He was still levitate, but it was hard to move around in the corridor. When he had done this at home the wind helped him move around. Train equaled no wind, which meant he had to move his arm in swimming like motions and bounce off of the walls. It would be more fun if he still had Brynn to push or pull with him, but she had stopped seeing some weird girl and he just didn't want to deal and kept floating along.

As the Fizzing Whizzbees started to wear off he started to lower and the next thing he knew he was on the ground and his footing was just off enough that he started to trip. Moving around like a crazy person to keep himself from falling he didn't see the open compartment and tumbled into it falling at the feet of someone.

Looking up he realized it was an older girl. Sigh not another girl and him face down on the ground. Smooth Bart smooth. Getting to his feet he looked and noticed a boy as well. Putting his best grin on his face he looked to them both, "Sorry didn't mean to interrupt couple time." because clearly they were alone in a compartment and older they probably were kissing or something like his Wade and Indy at home.

TOAD.. He just remembered his frog was still in his pocket when he fell. Did he smash the pet? Pulling the frog out of his pocket he sighed with relief. "Glad to see he isn't a pancake after that fall." Looking up the two again he noticed candy. "I have some more Fizzing Whizzbees if either of you would want some."

"Thank you. Is it really confusing at the castle?" Lux did not have the best sense of direction as she was still young, so she really did not want to deal with confusing moving staircases and secret passageways.

Continuing to eat her sandwich, she did not notice how surprised Bay seemed about her liking it. "That would be lovely. This sandwich is really good." She wished he had another one to give her.

Christmas smiled at Lux and said "It can be confusing at times i will show you how to get around the castle and i will also draw you a map so you can't get lost Lux"

Kace decided to check out the back cars. He wanted to know if he missed any familiar faces. He was walking down and saw everyone laughing and smiling. He was beginning to think that this year was gonna be awesome. He could feel it. He hoped he would run into his old quidditch buddies that he missed from his first year.

Kaiden was well, wandering. He had stowed his gear, and was well, avoiding things. He wasn't even wearing his badge. It was in his pocket, so he could continue to avoid things for as long as possible. So he didn't have to talk about things. Near the back of the train, he noticed his little badger buddy kid and wandered over to him. "Hey, Little Quiddich Dude, whats up?"

Michael wasn't stupid he could tell from the look on the guy's face that he wasn't too happy about having to share his compartment with someone. Especially someone younger and that wasn't a girl. But he was in a bad mood so his train companion was going to have to SUCK IT UP!

"Everywhere else is full." He was not apologising either. He picked up his pumpkin pasty and he eyed the boy for a moment. "Do you want some? I've got another one." Because he was not sharing the one in his hand.

Apparently they were doing a staring contest or at least that was what Ascanius had gathered from the look this kid was giving him. And it wasn't that the sixteen year old wanted to engage in something as trivial as a staring contest, he just didn't wanna lose, yeah? 'Cause maybe if he won Willy Wonka would give up. Leave perhaps?

Or not.

"No." He didn't want his pasty. Though he was missing something. Oh yeah, "Thank you." Well, this was uncomfortable, but he didn't wanna move or anything. He'd been here first.

Who was this kid anyway? Besides terribly rude.

"Ok, bad beast, got it," Caleb said. Sorry he didn't speak GIRL lingo. Words could mean something different between women, how did he know?! To make the situation even more confusing, Sophie leaned forward and HUGGED him. When had she last hugged him? Their eighth birthday? He chuckled and patted her back before she pulled away, hugging her back.

"Gryffindor? I don't think we'll be that lucky," he grumbled. That girl just had something about her that seemed to ring out SLYTHERIN to Caleb and wouldn't be surprised if they ran into her again at the feast.

"Alright, well, enough about her," he said, desperate to talk about anything BUT that girl at the moment. "Do you think Nox is REALLY that bad? Kneazles are like...on auto-pilot, you know? They clean themselves, can hunt and get their own food...you don't have to do ANYTHING really," he pointed out.

He hoped he hadn't just encouraged her to COMPLETELY ignore the animal. Whoops.

Annabel walked along the corridor, before spotting an semi-empty compartment. "May I sit with you?" she asked in her accent, hopefully, smiling softly at him. 'Maybe if I can find some friends, this won't be so bad.

Kace was walking down the train compartment and noticed a familiar face. Kace smiled and waved toward Kaiden. That nickname never got old. "Hey Kaiden! Oh nothing much just wandering around the train looking for people. How was your summer?" he asked him.

Tessa hated to admit it, but she had zoned out. Their talk of Quidditch had got her thinking about the try-outs, and different exercises that she had been practicing all summer. WHen she thought about Quidditch, well... it just took over her mind.

She looked back over to the conversation to hear Christmas talking about the castle. "So, it being a castle, are there any cool secret passages or anything?" she asked, grinning. "I'm sure someone's discovered something in all the years that people have been attending this school!"

Christmas looked at Tessa and said "Well there were secret passages but most of them have caved in now or are too dangerous to use"

She was ready to snap back at the intruder and tell him SHE was NOT his SWEETY, when she realized he HAD sweeties! Whatever... she liked sweeties. "Well hello there! I would love a sweety, can I have more than one?" She said patting the seat beside her and giving him a wink.

Some child came in and dropped at her feet...

... Now THIS WAS MORE LIKE IT! Boys at her feet and candy at her fingertips! "You didn't interrupt anything..." she said to the little boy and then she leaned over to the older boy and whispered "Yet..." She swiped a couple of chocolate frogs and an acid pop. She'd never had a Fizzing Whatzee... She popped the pop in her mouth and with it in her mouth said to the youngest, "Do you wish to sit with us?"

Tessa's face fell and she couldn't resist pouting a little bit. "Well that stinks... I'm sure that castle has more than just those passages though- hundreds of years worth of magic has had to have an influence on the place... I'll have to do some exploring- who's in?" she asked, looking around the room with a grin.

Jun just looked at the girl. How does one forget their prefect? Jun wouldn't. He'd get to boss other students around and what not. That would be fun. Too entertaining for the tie-dye boy but still. It would kill a lot of time for him. "I was going to lock it to avoid situations like these," That was pretty obvious. Besides, it wasn't a crime to be by the door. Especially if one was heading out of the compartment. Jun could've been doing that too.

"Or if you spot someone floating around," Which happened after the giddy part. Still, Jun would probably just watch and watch the show from inside his empty compartment. Which was now no longer empty since the prefect invited herself in. By all means. "Obviously. And if I did, I'd somehow make them get attracted to some younger years that like to block the corridor while someone is trying to get a compartment," Jun would so do that. And it'd be a good show too.

Finally an introduction from the girl. "Jun Kim, Fifth Year Ravenclaw," he took her hand and shook it. Jun let go of her hand and made himself comfortable in his seat again. Maybe he should offer her candy? Yeah, that was a nice thing to do. "Do you want a sweet?" he offered, holding out the bag for her.

"Oh! That could be fun to do"! Bri loved to explore, and find new things. It was like going on a treasure hunt.. without the treasure.

Bri was disappointed when Christmas explained about the secret passages.

Tessa grinned. "Of course! At my old schools, I found all sorts of cool things around that most people just walked by! You just have to be willing to look!" SHe didn't mention that sometimes she had to break curfew or skip a class or two to find some of these things- it was irrelevant. Besides, who wouldn't do that for a little adventure?

She saw the disappointment in Bri's face and shot the girl a wink. "Don't worry, I'm still one still works," she whispered.
