Which felt nice but also not so much because that meant people lost. People who Ella liked. Good people. She knew that this was a game and that's how they were played and all that but it didn't make it any easier, the playing friends thing. Especially friends who had been hit. She'd seen a few of those bludgers and yeah...was the healer around? Would gummy worms help? Could she help? Just...ouch.

Landing gently on the pitch, the blonde looked around for Hulk but didn't see her yet. She had things to say and a friend to check up on but she'd wait a bit, yeah? Yeah. She did cup her hands around her mouth and call out, "Brilliantly played, Lions." Because they had been brilliant. They were a hard working team and yeah, she had lots of respect for them as people and players.

Spotting some of her people, the blonde smiled and wandered over slowly, taking in the scene. Where was Forrest and Min and Lottie, though? She wanted them too, y'know. Forrest especially because she'd told him he'd be great and she wanted to squish his face. Just a little. No worries.

"You three were amazing, y'know." She said quietly when she finally stopped beside them, all smiles. She offered Wade a friendly shoulder pat and a fist bump for Tobias complete with a 'Badger Boom' explosion of finger wiggles at the end. Then the boyfriend got hugs cause they were wanted and yeah.

Well played, Badgers. Ella was proud.

Or it would've been a loud thud if the pitch wasn't charmed so they couldn't possibly get hurt from falling, but like, she was so not expecting to get hit, yeah? Not from Queen Alice, anyway.

Still, that bludger hit hurt so much. Her shoulder was probably broken. THANKS ALICE! And she really couldn't feel her hand? Her wand hand. Like, talk about irony! Ugh, this was such a terrible week. The important question was: What happened to that theory? The one where she was safe if Tag was around? EXACTLY. She shouldn't have told him about his luck running out, because it seemed it was running out on both of them, yeah? Sucks.

Also, she missed Kaiden. It wasn't nearly as fun to chase if she wasn't complaining about him getting all the shots. Just saying.

OMG! Alec got the snitch?! That was brilliant! Or not, because she just felt terrible all over. She wasn't seeing the Healer, nope. No need. Lottie just stood up, rather slowly, too, and clutched her arm, because HELLO?! WE GOT HURT HERE, YOU KNOW? Yeah, she wasn't the only one who did, but still.

And yes, good game, "Yeah, brilliant game." Not really. It had been a good game until the bludger, you know? Would've been better if she'd sorted things out with her best friend earlier this morning, and definitely a brilliant game if Alice hadn't happened.

So Minerva wasn't getting any bludgers today. Well brilliant at least she wasn't getting hurt. That had to be a plus, right? She couldn't shake this odd feeling Wade was keeping bludgers away from her on purpose. Did he make some sort of deal with a certain person in the stands today? Hmm she might have to question this, but she couldn't help that her fellow seventh year was amazing with a bat. even if she hated him for that bat a few terms ago.

Once the whistle blew Min landed and bounded at her fellow team mates first. Jumping up at Wades back. "Hey Bludger Kitty Boy... Way to be out there." Ruffling his hair a bit in the process she looked at the others. [b] "Great game guys, you all are so brilliant." Finally putting her feet back on the ground Minerva turned and went over to the Lions, "Great game everyone. You were awesome really."


Glancing up at the stands she smiled and waved at the faint image of a certain person cheering. Not to be rude, but was it time to get off the field and maybe go visit that person n the stands, was it? was it?
