Jory let his forehead lean against Ronnie's. "Yes,'' he agreed. "The same amount.'' And on impulse, he leaned in closer and kissed sealed what he had said with a kiss. |
SPOILER!!: Run Forest Run XD That was just plain cruel. He could STILL feel the cold residue of what was left of the snowball trickling down his back when he finally got his emotions back under control and stopped his MANLY dance. But for the brief moment that he had gotten to see that it was his GIRLFRIEND who had been the one to throw the snowball at him, Ascanius was already fuming and ready to attack. Yeah, that including tackling her down in the snow and shoving his own bit of snow down the back of HER shirt. See how she liked that. Pfft. She wouldn't, that was how. And that was why he was chasing her. So that he could inflict his revenge on her because NO WAY was she going to get away with this. Sure, the nice and average boyfriend would let this go, but that was for ugly people. And he wasn't one of those. Smirk. ALSO, did he hear her laughing? Oh, so now she was laughing at him too? She was getting a snowball to the face for that offense. This wasn't funny. It was sad and tragic and the sooner she realized that the better off they would be. Hmph. RUN FOREST RUN. 'Cause he was a'comin. After a few minutes of running and fumbling through the snow, he finally EPICALLY jumped out- think slow mo, yeah- and tried to catch her by the ankle. To take her down... ...but all he did was face plant. This was just like the beach... all over again. |
Text Cut: Clumsy Boy XD Penelope could honestly say that the snow going down his shirt was an accident. She'd thought it would just smack him in the head and then hang out in his hair until it melted or something. Really, if she wanted snow down his shirt, she would've run up to him and stuffed it down his back herself. So surely he would use that brain of his to figure out it wasn't her fault for his "unmanly" behavior. But no, apparently his brain was frozen or something because he didn't seem to figure that out. Unless he had and he still thought running after her was the solution to being hit by a snowball? Eh, whatever. She could totally outrun him. And she was. Sorta. She didn't notice he was close enough to to reach out and grab her ankle...until she heard a plop! right behind her. That made her stop and turn around... ...and start laughing again. Oh yeah, she was definitely having flashbacks to that time at the beach when he'd face planted into the sand. Yeah, seemed he was just as uncoordinated in snow too. Bahahaha. She was laughing far too hard again to run now and hardly noticed she was still within reaching distance for him... |
SPOILER!!: Laughing Girl XD Pth, pth, pth. Ascanius lifted his head out of the snow and started to spit out all of the stuff that was now on his lips. Gross. He didn't know WHERE this snow had been, who had been walking through the snow, what animals found relief in this snow. It was gross and could have been a breeding ground for ALL kinds of nasty. Mmk? And now it was all over his mouth. That was why he was spitting everywhere. Pth, pth, pth. Moving his hands up to his face, Ascanius rubbed at his eyes and tried to wipe all of the snow off of his face. It wouldn't be long now until the left over snow had melted, but he needed to be able to see. Mostly because... it was revenge time. Not only had he been SNOWBALL ASSAULTED, but he had been unmanlified when he had face planted AND he had done a ridiculous dance. This was not turning out to be his finest hour. Although, he did find solace in the fact that he knew that even looking ridiculous... he looked better than almost ALL of his peers. Smirk. At least his confidence was still in check. But when he could finally see out of his snow covered eyes, he smirked. She really had to stop laughing at him... it was gonna only cause her trouble, which was going to happen right about now. And without any warning, he reached forward and grabbed her leg... and yanked her down to the ground. SNOW BATTLE COMMENCE! |
Text Cut: Still better looking than everyone apparently XD Oh, did he get it into his mouth even? Bahahaha. That was great. Maybe he needed a kiss to feel better. Actually, not "maybe" - more like "definitely." But he was getting a kiss right now, too bad. Penelope wasn't gonna get close to- O_O Plop! Her leg was yanked out from under her, and she lost her balance and fell flat on her back in the snow. "Oof!" Blink. Blink. What in Merlin's... Oh. She looked down at him and his hand around one of her ankles. He'd yanked her down. Cute. Good try at revenge, but not good enough. With one hand, she gathered a handful of snow, smushed it into a sort of ball, then, smirking, threw it at his face. |
Quote:
Ronnie felt her heart start to beat a little more faster when he leaned in more and kissed her. Her heart jumped as their lips touched and she kissed him back, her arms around him holding him close. |
Quote:
After he broke their kiss, Jory placed his forhead against Ronnie's once again, his arms still around her. "I can hear your heart beating rather loudly'' he joked. Actually, he couldn't but he knew Ronnie's heart must be pounding, just like his was. And now they also had the matter of who loved whom more settled. Jory lapsed into silence. He was so comfortable being around her that it did not even feel like awkward silence. "Love you,'' he said again and squeezing Ronnie's hand. He'd never get tired of saying that. |
Ronnie made her way down to the lake, pulling her bright orange hair into a ponytail and carrying a little gift for Jory in her hand as she went. She had brought a little present for him...just 'cause she loved him and thought he was just purely amazing. Heh. It was a bit early in the morning for jogging...but she liked it that way, and hoped Jory didn't mind. Besides, it was really peaceful out here with not many people around and awake yet. She leaned against a tree, peering out towards the castle. No sign of Jory yet. She better do some stretches then while she waited. She stood up a bit straighter with her back perfectly straight, abs engaged, shoulders down, and feet hip-width apart. Slowly, she brought her left leg forward with her heel down, toes up and leg perfectly straight. She kept her back straight and abs engaged, she bent her right knee as if sitting back, while supporting herself with both hands on her thighs. |
(Different timeline) DADA Year Long Activities SPOILER!!: Ronnie Jory hummed as he headed down to the Lake. He was wearing a black and yellow jogging pants with a black jersey. It was the perfect day (despite being a bit chilly) and time to go jogging. It reminded him of the good old days when he went for early morning jogs with his dad. As he approached the Lake, he looked around for Ronnie. And there she was! By that tree straight ahead. There was no mistaking that bright orange hair that he loved so much. Hehe. He patted his pants pocket as he approached her. Waiiiiit! Ronnie surely had not seen him as yet. Maybe if he circled around the tree and approach her from the back. Like he always did. The Puffer headed for the far right of the tree where he sure would no be able to spot him, and then circled back to her so that he came up directly behind her. "Hello, Ronnie,'' Jory said. He hoped she wouldn't jump. "You're looking beautiful this morning.'' He grinned to himself. She always looked beautiful. "Don't move as yet,'' he told her as he reached into his pocket and removed a small box. He had asked his mother to get it a few days ago and it had arrived last night. Jory removed the necklace and placed it around Ronnie's neck, clasping the hook. "I got you something. Hope you like it.'' |
Quote:
His voice made her jump. "Aaahh!" she cried, turning around to face Jory. Her cheeks turned a deep red and she laughed a little. "S-sorry. I didn't here you come up." she mumbled. He was good at startling her. Oh...she looked beautiful this morning? D'awww. And there went the blushing again. He was so good at making her blush! "Aw, thanks Jory! And you look very handsome this morning. As always." she said with a smile, planting a kiss on his cheek. Then he told her not to move. She froze, looking at him curiously as he took out a box for her. *gasp* Eeeep! He had gotten a necklace for her! Jory was such a sweetheart. She felt her heart beat quickly as he put it around her neck. Once it was on, she turned to him, smiling. "Thank you, Jory. I love it." she said, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him. Once she pulled away, she bent down to pick up his gift she had set on the ground. "Here, I got you a little something too." she said with a small smile, handing it to him. |
SPOILER!!: Ronnie Jory laughed. "Sorry but I couldn't help sneaking up on you. You weren't too scared, were you?'' he asked with a wink. "Why thank you, my lady!'' He gave her a small bow and a peck on her red cheek. He liked when she blushed. "So, it is okay?'' Jory asked, referring to the necklace. "You make the necklace look so nice.'' She did! His beautiful Ronnie. He wrapped his arms around her too and kissed her back. She had a gift for him too? Ronnie was so thoughtful! Aww a little teddy! And a framed photo of her! "These two will be going right on my table next to my bed,'' he told her. That way, he would see her before he fell asleep and as soon as he woke up. "And the Chocolate Frogs and the beans will be for when I'm studying late.'' Yup! Sometimes he got hungry but was too lazy to go to the Kitchens. Even though it was not far from the Common Room. "Thanks, Ronnie,'' Jory said. He hugged her. "So, you're all set to go on our jogging date?'' What a weird date. But it should be fun. |
Quote:
She nodded her head. "Yes! It's beautiful, Jory. I'll wear it every single day." she said, looking down at the necklace and smiling at it. It really was beautiful, she was really glad he got it for her. She looked back up at him when he said she made it look so nice and blushed. "Thank you," she said, giving him another kiss on the cheek. He certainly knew how to make her happy! A smile spread across her face when he told her he'd keep them on the table next to his bed. Yay! She was so happy he liked his gift. "You're very welcome, Jory." she said, hugging him back tightly. Oh, right. Jogging. She had almost forgot the reason they were down here! She pulled away from the hug, nodding. "Sure am!" she said, zipping up her jacket a little more as a little gust of wind blew against her. She did a few more arm and leg stretches and then got in the position to jog. "Let's get going then!" she said, smiling at Jory as she began to jog next to him. |
Quote:
"I'd better do some stretched too,'' the Puffer said. He did a few, just like his dad thought him. "I want ice cream,'' he blurted out rather suddenly. On this cold morning, as silly as it seemed, this dude wanted ice cream. Maybe they could get some after he and Ronnie returned to the castle? Yup, that would be awesome! And so, the love birds set off. "Too bad we didn't have to race, I could have beat you,'' Jory joked. He stuck his tongue out at her. |
For anyone that wants to RP Harvey walked down to his favourite place in the whole school, it had been since his first year. Even though he liked it for a different reason to the reason he liked it back then. Gosh that seemed so far away, he had grown up since then, a lot had happened since then.. and there was a lot! A lot of memories had been made here and he wondered if many more would be made of if the memories would stop being made and get made elsewhere. He sat down on the grass with a little pin in his hand. Minnie's gift.. she wasn't too pleased with it but that could have been cause it was him that gave it to her.. after breaking his promise of course. He put it on the grass and just looked out to the lake wondering how he could get back to the guy he was a couple of years ago, cause everyone seemed to love that guy against who he was now. He may have changed but this lake had never changed and he knew it would probably never change at all. |
Quote:
Ronnie was reluctant to let go of Jory...she felt so comfortable in his arms. But they had to jog and stuff. But maybe they could...tomorrow...or...next week...'cause that's how long she could stand here hugging him! But then he let go. Okay. Okay. Time to jog. She watched as he stretched and laughed when he mentioned ice cream. Her eyes widened and a smile crept onto her face at the thought. Ever since the feast, Ronnie had been addicted to ice cream. "I LOVE ICE CREAM." she said rather loudly. "How about we get some after we jog???" she asked, bouncing on the balls of her feet with excitement. Okay, now she was FULLY awake. As they jogged, Ronnie laughed. "I could so beat you!" she said, sticking her tongue back out at him as well. Hehehe. |
Quote:
"We can hug afterwards,'' the Puffer said with a laugh, even though he didn't want to let go either. "Yes! I want loads of chocolate flavour. It's a date!'' He glanced back at Ronnie. "I sound like I've never eaten it before,'' he added with another laugh. They seemed to have lots of "dates'' today didn't they? Jogging date and then an Ice cream one. Oh well. At least he got to spend time with his Ronnie. "So, maybe we could run the length of the shore of the Lake a few times?'' Jory asked as they jogged, passing a few students. "Maybe you could, but Imma let you win all the time because you're so cute.'' Big grin. |
Quote:
"Awwwwwwww. Okaaay." she said with a sigh and a small smile. She then clapped her hands together a little out of excitement. "Hooray!" she squealed. She nodded as they jogged. "Okay, sounds good to me!" she said. She then laughed when he talked about letting her win. An idea suddenly popped into her head. "We should actually race. When we go get our ice cream, let's race all the way to the castle!" she suggested, grinning. "And don't let me win, mister!" she added, giving him a I've-got-my-eye-on-you look. |
Quote:
"Oh! That's a great idea! I bet I'll grab some before you at the Gryffindor table.'' Yup, because the Lion's table seemed to be where he sat all the time now, ever since the feast. "Okay, you got it. But try not to be sad when I win.'' And Jory was so busy laughing, he failed to watch where he was going until it was too late. His foot tripped on something and he went sprawling face first into the sand. Great. This was fun. Ronnie must be dying of laughter. |
Quote:
"Naww, I will before you can even get there!" she said with a firm nod. She then rolled her eyes. "I have nothing to worry about being sad. 'Cause I'm gonna win!" she said, turning to look at Jory but...wait, where'd he go? She looked left then right then down and saw him sprawled on the ground. She put a hand to her mouth, giggling softly. Okay. Don't laugh Ronnie. Don't laugh. She bent down, sticking her hand out towards him to help him up. "You okay, sweetheart?" she asked as she pulled him up. |
Quote:
Jory remained still on the ground. "I can hear you laughing, Ronnie,'' he said. Was he whole? No broken anything right? Even though he had not fell that hard to break anything. He looked up, wiping some sand from his face. "I'm okay, I'm okay,''he replied reassuringly. He grabbed Ronnie's hand and pulled himself up. "Go ahead you can laugh at my anguish.'' Once again, the Puffer put on a look of pain. Fake of course. But he pecked her cheek. "Let's go! Ice cream and a chance to beat you awaits!'' |
Quote:
Grinning he chuckled "It should be safe to walk on it. I asked Ali at breakfast if the lake ice was thick. According to him its thick enough to walk on." It could get very interesting if it wasn't thick and you went through the ice and took an unplanned dip in the cold lake. Trying to not think about that Leo instead furrowed his brows in confusion at Medea. "Skate without ice skates? No I don't think I have. Have you ice skated without skates?" It sounded odd. |
Quote:
At least the people who have lived or been in snow before. Ice skating, on the other hand, was an entirely different story. "I can't say that I haff." Looking out to the frozen lake, the thought that perhaps they should finish their ice cream first would probably be wise unless they wanted to cover the lake with it. At least, that'd more than likely happen on her part. "Or ice skating in general actually. Noooo laughing vhen I fall over." Poke poke. |
Quote:
Her lips quivered at what he said. She tried her hardest not to burst out laughing. "S-sorry, Jory. It was kinda funny...in a cute way." she said quietly, giggling a little as she helped him up. She then waved a hand. "I'm not gonna laugh, Jory." she said with a smile, wrapping him in a big bear hug. She had already let out most of her laughing through all that giggling earlier... OH YAY! Was it ice cream time already?! "WE'RE GOING TO GET ICE CREAM NOW?!" she asked, bouncing on her heels. |
Quote:
"Well, I guess it was,'' the Puffer admitted. "It's your fault though, you're too beautiful'' he accused, with a grin. It wasn't of course. He just couldn't keep his eyes off of her. He returned Ronnie's bear hug, lifting her off of her feet for a while. Jory wished now. "Nope,'' he replied. "We've still got a few more laps to do!'' He was feeling hyped, like he could run all day! Jogjogjogjgojog. "I haven't done this for a while,'' he told Ronnie, meaning the jogging. "I would normally go with my dad.'' Jory glanced over at Ronnie. She was pretty much in shape like he was, not breathing hard, looking tired or anything. |
Quote:
Her cheeks turned a deep red when he said she was too beautiful. She hadn't been called beautiful in so long, and it felt so nice to finally be called it again. Especially when it was Jory calling her it. "Thank you," she said softly, giggling as he lifted her up. As he held her, she laid her hands on both of his cheeks and kissed him. Frown. Oh alriiight. The ice cream will come soooon. "Okey dokey!" she said, getting back into her jogging position. "Really?" she asked as they began to jog. "I jog as many times a week as I can. Normally early in the mornings." she said. She wanted to stay fit! |
Quote:
"You're welcome, my beautiful lady,'' Jory responded. And then he was kissing her back, still holding her off of the ground. "I never seem to find the time,'' Jory told Ronnie. "Okay, well maybe that was a lie. Most times I'm too lazy to get out of bed. I like sleeping in late.'' He could be quite lazy when he wanted to. "You'll have to put up with that for the rest of your life, you know.'' He laughed. "How many more laps do you think we should do?'' They had done quite a few by then, passing loads of trees and even Professor Madea & Mr. Kitridge. |
Quote:
She felt a warm feeling rush through her when he called her his baby. Smiling, she gave him another hug. Goodness, she couldn't stop hugging him lately! She hoped he didn't mind. Her cheeks turned rosy when he called her his beautiful lady. He was becoming a pro at making her blush, Jory was. And he was still holding her while they kissed. After a bit, she pulled away, smiling at him as he still held her. "You're pretty strong!" she said with a wink. Ronnie nodded, laughing. "I understand that, that's what most people say." she said. Giggling, she shrugged. "I don't think I'll mind, sweetheart." she told him. Then he was talking about laps. She hadn't even realized how many they had been doing. Hopefully Jory had been keeping track... "Perhaps three more? Or two?" she asked. She was eager to get to that ice cream. |
SPOILER!!: The snowball assaulter Yeah, pfft, there was no way that she was moving. There ws a little thing called revenge that he was going to enact because he hair was now covered in snow and he had face planted. This all meant one thing- he was still MUCH better looking then most guys he knew, but his hair was gonna be wet. Ascanius was not a happy camper. So when he had her ankle in his grip, Stark was pleased. Very pleased because he was awesome. And just when he was about to yank her closer so he could smother her in snow... she threw a snowball in his face. O______________________________O She did NOT just do that? After everything she had done to him thus far today she had just THROWN snow in his face. Well then. It was on. Rolling up his own ball of snow, he lunged forward and shoved it in her face. WHAT! Let's go, Pen. |
Quote:
Jory laughed at Ronnie's red face. "Tomato head,'' he said, fondly. She was his tomato head. "Thank my dad for that,'' he replied. "He used to make me do all those crazy work outs with him. I hate it at first, but now I'm really glad I got into it.'' Grin. Who knew it would come in handy for lifting his girlfriend? "Good,'' the Puffer said. He was all sweaty and panting slightly. "Just telling you about a bad habit.'' Preparation for the future, perhaps? "Two more, then. I really wanna get some ice cream!'' But first they'll both have to go freshen up. He was not going to sit next to Ronnie looking like a sweaty pig. |
Quote:
 Giggles came from behind him. "Honestly Harvey I would think you would be smarter than to sit under a tree with snow on it. Didn't I do this same thing to you a few terms ago?" She laughed some more and ran up beside him. Carrying her Hot Chocolate that was more milk shakeish with her ice cream than actual hot chocolate. "Isn't winter just so much fun... So what are you doing hanging out alone on such an awesome day!" |
Quote:
Following Medea’s gaze Leo looked out at the frozen lake. "We should probably finish our ice cream first. We probably need our hands free to maintain balance." He commented. Licking on the ice cream he turned to Medea again. Not laughing or even grinning Leo murmured in response. "We could steady each other...If you want? I'm not....an expert skater either.” Blush. "You played very well in the quidditch game. Did you play quidditch in your school days?" |
Quote:
...Tomato Head? Oh jeez. One nickname was enough, and it was a lot better than tomato head! She giggled, blushing more. She then smiled as he talked about working out. "Well, it really paid off," she said, laying one of her hands on his bicep and feeling it. Her heart fluttered. Yup, yup. It definitely paid off! Okey dokey. Two more laps and they could get to that ice cream! Ronnie kept jogging next to Jory, glancing at him every once in a while to make sure he wasn't super tired or anything. Once they had gone two more laps, she flopped onto her back on the ground, panting. "Whew! What a great jog. Let's rest before doing our race to the castle." she said as she laid there, looking up at her adorable boyfriend. |
Arithmancy Homework 1- Post 4 Quote:
"It seems you're gonna be getting lots more nicknames from me.'' Grin. "Those'll be getting flabby soon,'' the Puffer joked, referring to the bicep. Without his dad waking him almost every morning, Jory had become a totally lazy guy. But now that Ronnie approved of them, maybe he would have the motivation to resume the early morning exercises? And they were done! Jory flopped down next to Ronnie, panting and sweating. Their reward of ice cream came next! "That was fun!'' he told her. Absently, he played with the sand in front of him and thinking about ice cream. The badger was suddenly aware that he had picked up something other than sand. Thinking it was a pebble or something, he was about to throw it into the water but happened to glance at it. It was a sea shell. "Arithmancy!'' he thought, in delight. Here was something that could work for the Golden Ratio. He was sure about this as he had done some reading and shells happened to be perfect examples of the ratio. So, he could add this to his list. Now, just one more item had to be found depicting the Ratio. |
Quote:
Turning her head to look at Jory as he laid next to her, Ronnie slid her hand over by his and locked her fingers in between his and gave his hand a little squeeze. "Ready to go, Jory-Bear?" she asked, sitting up. Yes. She had finally decided on a nickname. Sure, it wasn't too creative but..it was cute. Just like Jory. So it suited him. |
Quote:
"I see you've come up with a nickname,'' the Puff said with a grin of approval. He liked it. The Bear was one tough animal. He gently squeezed Ronnie's hand. "I'm all set!'' With that, he jumped up and held out his hand to help his awesome girlfriend up. "Time for me to beat you at that race, then!'' |

New TL for Tag game! Jory walked with Ronnie towards the Lake. In his hands, he carried two containers of ice cream. Apparently, he could not go a day without having the delicious frozen treat, even when it was cold. "So, you must be feeling pretty good about beating me the other day, Rons?'' he joked. He was referring to that day after their jog. Yup, Ronnie had beaten him to the Castle. Who knew she was that fast? "I think here will be okay?'' the badger said, indicating some large rocks. They could have their ice cream there before their tag game. "Here you go,'' he said, handing Ronnie her container. Ice cream was good! Yup yup! |
Quote:
Nodding, she took a seat upon the rocks. "Sure! It's perfect." she said as she grabbed her conatiner. YUMMM! Strawberry ice cream! It was her most favorite flavor. She eagerly took the lid off. |
Quote:
.......... The Puffer was almost done with his ice cream. He could hardly wait to start the game. It was gonna be fun! And he was definitely going to tag Ronnie loads more than she was gong to tag him. "Ready, Rons?'' he asked, capping back his now empty container. "I'm going to be 'it' and try to tag you first.'' If she was okay with that. |
Quote:
She began eating hers too, her mouth covered a bit with the pink ice cream. Yeah, she was a pig. But she didn't care. She just wanted to eat this quickly because it was so yummy and she was perfectly comfortable doing anything around her Jory. With her belly a bit full of ice cream, she hopped up, ready to play. "Sure am!" she said. She then nodded. Okay. TIME TO RUN. She began running as fast as her legs could carry her. "Catch me if ya caaaan!" she called, glancing behind her and giggling at him. She didn't see where she was going and suddenly tripped over a rock on the ground and went face first into the snow. *gulp* No. Nonononono. He was NOT going to catch up to her. Ronnie quickly leapt up from the snow and began running again, ignoring the small pain on her knee. Meh. Probably a bruise. |
Quote:
..... Jory was up and running after Ronnie a few seconds later, just in time to see her trip over something. Oh no! Was she hurt? "Are you al-'' he began but she jumped up in now time and started running. Good! She was alright. Jory grinned to himself now that he knew Ronnie was okay. When someone tripped, they looked funny. Sometimes, anyway. "I'll get you, Rons!'' He chased after her, jumping the rock that Ronnie had tripped over. Runrunrun! Must catch girlfriend! It was sort of difficult running given that there was snow on the ground. Good thing he was tall! That meant longer strides. |
Quote:
"No you won't!" she said, giggling as she pumped her legs more, moving faster and faster. Boy, this was starting to get a bit tiring! But she was so not giving up yet. Not at all. |
Text Cut: Minnie Harvey was sitting there minding his own business when suddenly he felt cold snow all over him and then giggles, he wondered who was horrid enough to destroy his peace and quiet. He heard her before he saw her and instantly he wasn’t angry anymore since the culprit was none other than his best friend. He rolled his eyes and chuckled as she talked about him being smart enough not to sit under there "Well maybe I knew that you wouldn’t be able to resist throwing snow on me so sat here on purpose" he said though he knew the real reason as to why he was here. He nodded "I think you did and even then it was surprise.. a cold one at that" he said chuckling a little. He then watched as she came towards him with something that he figured was probably hot anyways. He smiled and nodded "It is awesome!" he said looking out over the lake before she asked the dreaded question "Oh nothing really just was waiting for something to turn up and throw snow on me I guess, and that two without telling me they were coming here to throw snow on me" he chuckled as he shook he snow off of himself. "Anyways what brings you out here as well?" he asked her wondering if she was here for a reason or they just happened to bump into each other again. They always seemed to be bumping into each other here at the lake every single time. |
Quote:
..... "Yes, I will!'' Jory continued tearing after his girlfriend. His eyes darted around. Was there anyway to circle around without her seeing him? Possibly. He dashed behind some trees which now separated him from Ronnie. If he could just catch up with her... as he ran, the Puffer could see her in the distance. he was gaining on her! "A little more!'' Alright! He was just a head of her! Jory crashed through the trees and grabbed Ronnie. He was just supposed to tap her on the shoulder or something but whatever. He just grabbed her around her waist and they tumbled into the snow. Jory was laughing too much. "I....got...you!'' he said, breathing fast from the combination of laughter and panting. This was fun! |
SPOILER!!: Harvey Minerva chuckled, nope never saw that coming did he. She drank her hot chocolate/ice cream mix and went closer towards him. Pointing her wand again she did he drying charm, “See all better.” She then looked him over was he really cold, she didn’t think it that cold, but it was awesome out and she loved winter so maybe others were cold. “Do you want a warming charm? I could do that as well.” She would be an awesome friend and do that if he needed it. That was no problem at all. Now what was she doing here. Minerva looked around honestly she had no idea, she just was enjoying the snow and felt like being out. “I don’t know I wanted to play in the snow I guess. Was just walking around the grounds having some fun.” She then looked at him, “What are you doing out here? You’re not being all depressed again are you?” She didn’t want him all sad, especially when she was happy and having fun, maybe she should hit him with more snow that could make him happy, right? |
Quote:
Ronnie quickened her pace, glancing behind her to check how far Jory was when she didn't see him. Where was he? Oh, Merlin...he was going to come out of nowhere and surprise her. She just could feel it. And then, as if on cue, he had his arms around her waist and they were tumbling into the snow. She sat up, bursting with laughter. "Okay....n-now...you... you better run before I....get you!" she panted. |
Quote:
"Okay!'' The Puffer leapt to his feet. "Come on, then!'' He sped off back in the direction from which they had come, but not turning back to see if Ronnie was following him. Looking back could slow him down and he wanted to go as long as possible without being tagged. |
Quote:
After standing up, she quickly brushed the snow off herself and dashed after Jory. She ran and ran and ran after the boy and soon began to grow tired. Jory was really fast. Like a cheetah. After a while of running, she could feel the need of a break coming on. But then Jory would be long gone and she'd never catch up! So...what to do? . . . Suddenly, a brilliant plan popped into her head. She began running some more and (pretended to) trip over her foot. "OUCH!" she cried, falling over and grabbing her foot, wincing in pain. "Ohhh my poor foot!" she moaned. Yes, Ronnie was quite the actress. Okay, now for Jory to come over...then she'd tag him at the perfect moment. Mwahahahaha! |

...... Jory knew he was faster so he craned his neck and looked back, hoping to get an estimate as to how far or close Ronnie was to him. He could see her in the distance. Grinning, he stopped and waved before he took off again. Jogging this time, though. He figured if Ronnie got too close, he would pick up full speed again. But he had not gone more than a dozen steps when the Puffer heard Ronnie cry out. He spun around to see her on the cold ground, clutching her foot. Filled with loads of concern, Jory practically sprinted over to her. "Do you need to see the healer?'' he asked, kneeling down beside her. Yeah, because this Hufflepuff dude was totally naive sometimes. It had not occurred to him that this was a ploy. |
Quote:
"I...think I'm okay..." she said, slowly standing to her feet. "Oh and by the way...YOU'RE IT!" she shouted, poking his shoulder and sticking her tongue out at him. Then, she was off, running as fast as her long legs could carry her. |
Quote:
"Enough time!'' Jory thought a few seconds later and tore of. He was going to get her real faster this time. Oh yes he was. |
Quote:
After a while of running, she made a quick turn and leapt into a bush to hide. Hopefully Jory hadn't seen... she was planning to jump out at him, scare him, then take off running again. This was so much fun! Playing tag, just like when she was young. She forgot how fun this was. |
Quote:
There were bushes around. "She must be hiding behind one of those,'' he figured. Jory slowed down as he approached the bushes. Now, how would he know which? Of course! Her footprints in the snow! He quickly found hers which were leading the way he was currently going but suddenly vanished too. Right in front of a huge patch of bushes. He quietly approached the bush. And there she was! Jory could see her bright red hair quite easily. "Found you, tomato head!'' he said and poked her on the shoulder. And without further ado, he took off. |
Quote:
She gave him a side glance. Naaaah, he wasn't a mind reader. Naah. Though he was a bit red. It...made her go red. Especially after he spoke. Umm. Oh, the mood turned a bit serious. Ahem. Steadying each other. "Sounds good to me." she nodded slowly with a timid smile. Oh thank goodness a change of topic. Not better than the one before though. A reminder that he had watched her during the quidditch match that she faaaiiiled at! "Oh, no." Her smile grew as she glanced elsewhere, deciding to focus on her half eaten ice cream. "No umm, I guess...just got lucky? Right broom, veather conditions at the time, you know..." Trailing off, she took a deep breath, turning her gaze back to Leo before laughing softly. "Phina, actually, taught me how to get off the ground for the first time not too long ago. Fantastic teacher." With flying. Yes. |
Quote:
Great. Soon enough, Jory had found her. She stood up, laughing and then ran after him. Merlin this was fun! |
Quote:
"Feeling tired as yet?'' the badger called out to her, stopping at a safe distance. He had to cup his hands around his mouth and hoped she would hear him. He was feeling a bit tired. Despite the snow, he was sweating. Maybe some more ice cream would help him cool down? |
Quote:
She flopped down onto her back and sank into the snow. "I'm taking a break!" she called to him. The snow was so comfy... she could pretty much just take a nap right here... it'd be perfect if Jory would come snuggle her. That'd be a perfect nap. |
Quote:
"You're not tricking me again, are you?'' he asked standing a good distance away at a good distance. Oh, what the heck? So what if she tagged him? He could get her back anytime but he wanted to take a break too. Jory dropped onto the snow and laid next to Ronnie. "That was fun, wasn't it?'' |

She let her eyes close as he put his arm under her shoulders. This was so nice and peaceful, laying here with Jory. Could they just do this all day?! Now, if only they had a cozy blanket to snuggle under this would be perfecto! She then nodded. "Yeah, I think the last time I played was when I was about...ten." she told him, laughing lightly at the thought. It had been with her next door neighbor, Ethan. They had been running around....it was summertime, and she was having a blast playing with the new boy who just moved in. Then her mother came out and scolded her for playing, because that wasn't how a 'lady' should act. Ronnie frowned at the memory and tried to rid it out of her head. Thankfully, she was distracted by Jory's sudden movement as he wrapped his coat around her. She blinked and looked from the coat to him, smiling warmly. It's like he knew just how to cheer her up from the thought, even though he had no idea what had just gone on in her head. "Much better. Thank you, sweetheart." she said, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "I love you." she added while wrapping the coat more tighter around her like a blanket. She got closer to him, rested her head upon his chest and closed her eyes again. "Of course, after a while is perfect." she said. "I like this. Just you and me out here, laying together." She wished it could last forever, but they'd probably get too cold. . . |
SPOILER!!: Ronnie "Fine, I'm it,'' Jory agreed with a grin. Twice Ronnie had got him easily now. No worries. He would tag her back in no time. "I think I last played around that age too. It had been with some of my friends from school, I think.'' Or had it been his cousins at the family reunion? Oh well. The point was, he had not played tag in a very long time and it felt good to do so again. Jory saw Ronnie frown. Was it something he said? "Are you alright?'' he asked. Good. He could not have his beloved girlfriend freezing and he was warm. "You're welcome, angel.'' He smiled. "I love you too. And more.'' Jory wrapped his hand around Ronnie's shoulders when she rested her head on his chest. And Jory like it like this too. "Too bad we will have to go soon.'' Otherwise, they'd be turned into popsicles. |
Quote:
Smiling again, she kissed him. "I love you so very much." she told him. It was true. She then nodded in agreement. "Yeah I know." she said with a small frown. She was quite comfortable here. |
Quote:
This was paradise. A cold one, though. Jory was definitely feeling cold now. "I think we should get going,'' he said, shivering a bit. They could surely use that hot cocoa now. |
Quote:
Nodding in agreement, Ronnie stood up. "It is getting more cold out." she said as she took off his jacket and handed it back to him. "You need it more than I do." she told him, smiling. She took his hand in hers and began walking back to the castle. |
New TL but a continuation of conversation. DADA Log- Jogging. Quote:
He glanced towards the castle, impatiently. Not because Ronnie was late or anything, but because he missed her. "She'll be out soon,'' Jory said to himself, as he turned his attention towards the frozen Lake. |
Quote:
Once she reached the lake, she saw Jory standing by himself waiting for her. She walked up to him and tackled him to the ground in a big bear hug. "Hey, cutie!" she said, giving him a kiss and then standing back to her feet. She held her hand out to help him back up. Hopefully she hadn't startled him too bad or anything. |
Quote:
He took her hand and hoisted himself up. "Good morning, beautiful,'' he said. "Missed me?'' Cute grin. |
Quote:
Smiling, she hugged him again as he stood up. "Morning, handsome!" she said. She then nodded. All she did last night was think of him and it took forever to fall asleep, she was so excited to see him the next day. "Shall we begin our walk then?" she asked, reaching her hand out towards him for him to hold. |
Quote:
So. Jory needed to get something out of his head. "Remember the other day, what you said about your mom not approving about you playing tag with that guy?'' he began. "Well, don't you worry about it, Rons. You turned out just fine. I love you the way you are.'' She was perfect in every way and he did not want her to feel she disappointed her mom. Or anyone else. He squeezed her hand and smiled. |
Quote:
As they walked, Ronnie looked at Jory as he spoke. She blinked at what he said. She'd never had anyone say that to her...let alone know about her real parents. She had never really told anyone except Jory. "Jory...I...I don't know what to say." she said, her voice small, looking at the ground. She was literally speechless. "That means so much to me. You have no idea...no one has ever said that to me." she told him, suddenly stopping in the middle of walking to hug him tightly. |
Quote:
Jory kept a lookout for rocks and so as they walked. No need to twist an ankle on a walk. Nope. The place was covered with snow, so that was a bit difficult but he liked it all white and cold. He looked back at his girlfriend. Aww. His Ronnie. She looked so ...overwhelmed. "You don't have to say anything,'' the badger said. "Just know that I don't care what anyone says about you. You have me, who loves everything about you.'' Another bear hug! Jory liked these. He hugged Ronnie back. |
Quote:
She smiled. "Thanks again, Jory. You don't know how much this means to me...no one has ever told me that." she told him, squeezing him. He truly was the perfect boyfriend for her. She could never want anyone else... he was the one she wanted. |
Quote:
Jory smiled. "I ish just trying to make you feel better,'' he said but he did mean every single word he just said. He kept one arm around Ronnie as they continued their walk. So far, they still seemed to be the only ones around. Just they way he liked it. He just hoped it won't snow and spoil his and Ronnie's moment together. But there was so much snow all around! Maybe they could build a snowman sometime? "Er did your mom ever tell you anything like that?'' the Puffer asked cautiously. |
Quote:
Smiling, she kissed his cheek. "And you're doing a great job at it. I feel tons better, thank you." she said. As they walked, she looked around at everything around him. It was so peaceful and quiet...no one was around, it was just the two of them enjoying each other's company. The way she liked it. Then, he asked her a question. She looked at him, cocking her head slightly. "What do you mean, exactly?" she asked slowly. |
Quote:
The Puffer liked Ronnie's family. Even before that time he had met them at King's Crossing. But that was not nice of her mother. |
Quote:
Ohh! Okay. She nodded. "Well, yeah. Of course...she never liked the way I acted. She always expected me to be some proper ladylike person...but I wasn't that way. At all. And I didn't want to be." she said quietly, looking at the ground. "I'm so glad I have a different family now, though. They love me and accept me which I've really needed." she explained, nodding. Yes, she was quite thankful for them. |
Quote:
The Puffer nodded. He understood too well. His mother was like that with his sister. The difference was, Grace was only too happy to act like a lady. She loved dolls, and tea parties and all the girly stuff. "Well your mother was wrong.'' He believed that everyone should be their on self, not what others wanted. "You don't have to worry about that now.'' She had an awesome new family, the one he mat at the Station. And she had him. "I think we've walked long enough coming down this way,'' Jory said after a minute. "Let's go back in the direction of the castle, if you don't mind.'' They could always walk back this way. |
Quote:
Smiling, she nodded. "Yeah, thankfully I don't." she said. "Oh and my dad loves the idea of us together. I owled the family about it the other day and they're really happy about it." she told him. Then an idea popped into her head. "Say, how about this summer we all have dinner together?" she suggested with a smile. Wouldn't that be fun?! It hadn't even felt like they walked far...Ronnie looked around herself, realizing they had. Wow, time sure flew! "Sure, sounds good to me." she nodded and turned and began walking with him to the castle. |
Quote:
It seemed both of their families we glad at the idea of them being together. "My parents are too. Of course, they knew about you before we got together because I used to tell them about my friends. Dad told me he was secretly hoping I'd fall for you because you're so much like me.'' Jory had been surprised when he had read what his father had said as he had never told him anything before. Dinner? Brilliant! "That's a great idea, Rons!'' Yup. They should do it. Jory adjusted his hand, which was still around Ronnie when they turned back to wards the Castle's direction. "I hadn't even realised we walked this far.'' |
Quote:
Another idea for dinner rose into her head. "Perhaps both our families could all have dinner together? Wouldn't that be fun?" she added, smiling. Then they'd all get to know each other! Laughing, she nodded. "I know! It hasn't even felt like we've been here long..." she said, suddenly bending down to gather up a bunch of snow and forming it into a ball with her hands. She smirked at him. "Why don't we stay a little bit...for a snowball fight?" she asked, giggling and throwing it at his shoulder. |
Quote:
Snowball fight! "Great idea, Rons!'' Wasting no time, Jory bent and grabbed at some snow, molding it into a ball. But he wasn't even done when the first ball hit him squarely on the left shoulder. "You just wait!'' he said, laughing. Grab the ball. Aim and fire! He watch it sail towards Ronnie. |
Quote:
Ronnie laughed as he threw his at her and before she could dodge it, it hit her right in the face. She gasped and burst out laughing. "Jory! You're gonna pay for that, mister!" she said, wiping the snow off of her face and quickly snatching more snow from the ground. She packed it into a ball and ran after him, jumped on his back and smashed it on his head. She laughed and they both toppled over onto the snow. "Ohhh that was FUNNY!" she laughed even harder now and rolled over to lay next to him. Smiling, she brushed the snow off his face and leaned in to give him a kiss, her hands on both his cheeks. |
Quote:
Jory just stood laughing, rather out of control and clutching at his stomach as the snowball totally covered Ronnie's face. He was laughing so much he thought the laughter wold kill him. "Hahahaha! Rons, you look hilarious!'' Uh oh! She was coming after him again. The Puffer turned and tried to escape but in no time she was on him! "Aaaaghhh!'' he yelled in utter giddiness from the fun. His hair as well as his face was now engulfed with the cold, white thing that was snow. And then he and Ronnie were both tumbling down, onto the snowy ground. And still he was laughing. "It was,'' he agreed as Ronnie brushed off his face. And then she was kissing him. Jory placed one hand around her and kissed her back. |
Quote:
She completely melted into the kiss, her arms around his neck. Once she finally pulled away, she leaned her forehead against his, a bright smile on her face. "I love you, Jory." she said. She really did love Jory. And she always would. "I wanna stay with you forever." she added, a little more quietly. |
Quote:
Jory smiled. "I love you more, Rons and I don't plan on going anywhere.'' Nope. He was always going stick with Ronnie. "I'll always be with you, so I can do this!'' With that he dumped a handful of snow on Ronnie's head which he'd been gathering with his hand and went into a new burst of laughter. |
this is so late, i'm so sorry >_< Text Cut: revenge! Yeah, that's right, she threw another one after him. It wasn't like he was fighting back as much as he could/should. All he did was make her trip and fall in snow. Which, granted, was getting her whole back wet and cold...but he still hadn't restrained her arms or anything so she could still throw snow at him. So that was totally his fault. Penelope was smirking and reach around to gather more snow in her hands when - blink. She felt the cold sting of snow smack her right in the face. Blink. Blink. Was he finally fighting back now? About time. Smirk. She didn't quite have a legit snowball in her hand, but she still tossed what little snow she did have at him and started trying to wiggle away from him. |
SPOILER!!: Pen XD Jeez, he was just failing left and right with this. Pen needed to stop this or else he was going to use their height difference to pin her down and bury her in the snow. This was revenge he was talking about... and maybe if he snagged a kiss or two it wouldn't be amiss, yeah? So when her face was covered in snow, Ascanius smirked. Yeah, yeah. Hold the applause he was awesome and he knew it. C'mon, look at the face. Smirk. And just as he was relishing in it, his victory of course, he was suddenly attacked with more snow. He blinked and said softly, "You're on, Pen." And she was going down. Didn't she know? Well, he did. And with that, he picked up more snow and tossed it in her hair. Leggo. |
Quote:
"I love you WAY more!" she said, beaming. She smiled at what he said...but then it turned into a scared look. Oh, bloody hell what was he doing.... and then there was snow. All over her. Laughing, she brushed it off quickly. "You're gonna be sorry you did that, Jory Stonewall!" she cried, standing up and getting an armful of snow and flinging it at him. Bursting with laughter, she fell back over onto her back in the snow. Boy was this fun! "OH! HAHAHAHA! J-JORY! TH-HAHAHA-THAT WAS SO FUNNY! BWAHAHAHA!!" she cried, tears streaming down her face from laughing so hard. |
Quote:
"I love you tons more!'' Jory scrambled to his feet, laughing loudly once again. This probably was the only time he laughed so much within a few minutes. Oh no! Here can a pile of snow! He quickly stepped in the opposite direction and avoided most of it but some did manage to hit him in the face and chest. "Missed me!'' the Puffer said, though he was shaking his head to get the snow off. Quickly, he bent and scooped up snow with both hands. "Revenge!'' And the handfuls of snow went flying towards Ronnie one after the other. |
Quote:
"I so hit you! Just not with all of it!" she said, laughing and throwing her arms in the air. Oh, Jory Jory Jory...AHH! Then came more snow! Before she could dodge it or even think about dodging it, it hit her. In the face. ALL in her hair. She laughed again, wiping it from her face. Her clothes and hair were wet from all the snow, but she didn't mind. Not one bit. This was so much fun! They were like kids! |
Quote:
And the snow hit Ronnie in the face! Jory laughed, clutching at a stitch in his side. Poor Ronnie. Her hair and clothes were all wet. "You won't catch the cold, will you?'' he asked, sobering up. He didn't get sick that easy so it was no problem for him. |
Quote:
He'd been swimming for ages, eh? Hmm...there was a pretty tight competition there, then. Who knew, maybe Jory would beat Ronnie! No, no no. She wouldn't let that happen. She was going to beat him, no matter how better at swimming he was! Ronnie shook her head. Aww, Jory was so cute, worrying for her. Naw, she never really caught colds much. "No, I don't think so." she told him. "You ready to go back in? I'm getting kinda cold!" she said, giggling. |
Quote:
Oh goodie. Like him, she won't catch the cold easily. "Sure!'' Jory agreed. He was beginning to feel a bit cold. "We should go get dry clothes and then get hot chocolate or something.'' And some ice cream to go along with that too, perhaps? He took Ronnie's as they walked back to the Castle. |
Text Cut: Ascanius XD Penelope was pretty sure she was winning this snow fight so far. Sure, he'd knocked her down and thrown some snow in her face, but that was about it. She'd thrown loads more snow at him, and he'd even faceplanted into the snow. That wasn't TECHNICALLY her fault, but she'd happily take the blame for it because it was funny and it only furthered the fact that she was winning. That's right. Fact. The smirk was still on her face when he spoke. "Pretty sure I already was," she replied. Was he only now getting into the fight? Really? Slowpoke. Asdfghjkl snow in her hairrrr. Actually...that was fine. Snow melted, and it was better than getting hit in the face. So her smirk remained as she rolled a bit onto her side to gather up a bunch of snow in her arms, then sat up and threw it all up and at him. Maybe some would get in his hair and face and on his back? Possibly mostly on his back. That would be payback for knocking her on her back. ...Pun not intended. Heh. |
SPOILER!!: Pen XD "Pretty sure I already was," he mimicked with a face at her. Yeah, yeah. He heard her loud and clear. The fourth year had been ambushed and she was all smug about it. But see, if this were a PROPER snow fight without the added affect of gorilla warfare... he would have been owning her right now. And THAT was the truth. Speaking of that, he did smirk when she flailed for a brief second at the snow in her hair, but was shocked at her recovery time. Not a second later she was gathering snow and throwing it at him. He got a little in his hair and on his face, but not real damage. Smirk. Not that ANYONE could damage this face, yeah? Gathering up his own bit of snow, and by a bit it was as much as he could carry, he ran over to her and tried to drop it all on her head. Better run, Pen. Time to get a-moving. Was she gonna move? Or just let him do this? |
Quote:
And she was blushing and that made him go even redder than he already was. Licking his lips from ice cream as much as to water them he asked getting very curious by Medea’s revelation. "Really? Watching you play I thought you had heaps of quidditch experience it certainly seemed that way to me." Biting off another piece of the cone he nodded. "Yes, Fina must have been a fantastic teacher." Or Medea was a natural on a broom to begin with? Shrugging he asked "So if you didn’t play quidditch in school what did you do, duel?" Finishing off his cone Leo gestured with a thumb towards the ice. "Shall we try going out there?" |
Quote:
"You are too kind." She chuckled, nudging him lightly with her shoulder while breaking off a piece of the ice cream cone with her fingers and popping it into her mouth. If she'd managed to make Leo believe she played well enough, than, well, her view on how the game went brightened just a bit more. Her chuckles may have subsided, yet her smile grew. "Somevot, yes. Though I vosn't quite into dueling back then as I am now. I vos more into the...chess and art clubs." Ahem...... Finishing her own ice cream cone, she rubbed her hands together to get any crumbs off, glancing out to the frozen lake. Oh! Right now? "Either now or never, right?" Grinning, she took his hand and walked right up to the edge of the ice. Erm. Well, it looked safe. She poked it with the toe of her boot, much like someone testing the temperature of the water. "Vot about you?" Glancing towards him, she hesitantly put her first foot on the ice. "Vot vere you into doing ven you vere at school?" |
Lexipoo/taggypoo <3 SPOILER!!: Tag stuff <3 Bliss was feeling all manner of emotions right now. Happiness, fear, excitement, worry, delight. Over all, her brain was pretty much jammed full with feelings and thoughts and she couldn't concentrate for longer than a minute at a time. Her mind kept wandering back to the past and she was constantly having to shake her head; so much so, that she was beginning to get a headache. It may also have been the head-bashing from studying with Laura earlier. The fourth year had spent so long on her hair - getting it to the perfect curl and bounce - that she had to hurry to get some nice-ish clothes on. They weren't going anywhere TOO fancy, just the lake, but it paid to look nice, right? Having stuck on her favourite pale blue and white shirt and jeans, she touched up her make-up and headed out, jelly beans in hand. Just in case thinks went badly or awkwardly and she could just .. sit and eat jelly beans. Before long, she was Smiling, she stepped into the view of Tag and wow .. she was shocked by how good he looked right now. How had she missed this before? BLINK. "Um .." she mumbled something that might have been 'sorry I'm late' and stumbled forward to where he was. Get a grip, Bliss, she scolded herself and got rid of the moony-eyed face she was surely wearing right now, before sitting down beside him on the neat blanket. "Hey, Taggy. You look .. really good," she whispered. |
Quote:
When he turned around, since he was checking his shoulder constantly to see if he could spot Bliss from a distance, he saw another blonde quickly making her way over to him. Upon seeing her face, the boy quickly turned around, his back facing to her momentarily, as he put his hands together and sighed out in relief. Good. She wasn't standing him up at least. Now he turned back just in time to see her plopping herself beside him. Tag quickly gave her a one armed hug with a little squeeze sneaked in, as he looked at her and smiled brightly. "Thanks. " He said with a little chuckle as he looked at his attire. "And you look..." Cue the continous cheesy smile, " really pretty." The boy then pulled the basket in front of him and started pulling out an assortment of food. "I hope you had a really light breakfast, and no lunch, because today, we will be having a nice picnic." Hopefully. He thought. First he took out some lasagna, recently heated up from a few minutes ago, a container of blueberries, very small peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, some cheese, fizzing whizbees, and lastly some jelly beans. Of course. Then he got out some plates, and utensils and two cups. " Orange juice? Do you like orange juice?" If she didn't then.... uh oh. Bliss also didn't need to know where Tag managed to find lasagna. Heh. |
