Her brow furrowed more and more with each detail of the dinner Toddles unveiled. No meatballs? No garlic? No desert? Hmm well okay. She knew the food of late had been less than excellent, but the fact there was such an abundance of ice cream made her less sore with the headmistress for cutting back in this area. Though she did value a good meal, especially since all of this sugar was starting to mess with her sleep schedule... Oh well, just do as he says.

The other two were going to make the salad, and that was fine with her really. She spoke up and said, "I can get the noodles ready." She turned and looked through a few cupboards until she found a box of them and carried them to the stove. Now is this a muggle stove or... She eyed the knobs and burners. Sure she could just conjure a flame under it, if she knew how. She knew incendio, but would that be hot enough? Was this stove made to be lit like the cauldron burners were in Potions? She looked to Toddles to see if he wanted to start her off so she didn't burn the place down on accident.

So be it. How can this actually be Astronomy? Wasn't it sort of muggle studies?

Brimming to the edge with questions and assumptions, she walked into the kitchen. The next spot she knew would need some cleaning up was that. Kitchen usually never looked like kitchen after she used it. It would be the same here. Yes, yes. With the budget cuts and all.

PFITTT!

She just pushed her cleaner and in..and there! So much chaos. She was going to clean it up. Yes, she was. Not just because it was her assignment, but because she couldn't stand the dirty sight.

She tapped the cleaner with her wand. "VACAVUS!"

And she the cleaner began destroying the dust, and singing. Heh.

"I make things neat...

So nice and clean...
Ha Ha Ha"

She knew she should have checked the kitchens a bit more. But noooo, she had to get a bowl of ice cream. Meh. Peyton shrugged to herself. This was her second time coming down here and she was beginning to think it was fate. Fate wanted her to eat more ice cream. Except this time, she was on a pure potions-ingredient-finding-mission.

Welp.

Opening random cabinet doors, the redhead peeked inside to see if there was anything she'd need for her class. Or that was at least qualified as a potion ingredient.

After opening a few she came upon a little plastic bag with what seemed like leaves inside it. She grabbed it and took a closer look, then just out of curiosity sniffed the bag. It had a familiar scent. One she smelled before in her mother's kitchen.

Minty.

"Peppermint!" she said to no one, beaming at herself for being so bright. Pocketing that, she closed the cabinet door dashed, a few minutes still under her belt.

Alright. Last place before she went back to the classroom.

Feathers clutched in one hand and little ball of kneazle hair gripped in the other, she entered the kitchen to get her last ingredient. It was one she could've done already, only she didn't have something to put it in. Shoving the hair into the hand holding the feathers, she searched random cabinets with one hand, searching for...

...there we go!

She pulled the large mug out and set it on the counter. Then she drew out her wand, pointed it at the mug, and said, "Aguamenti." She was really good with this spell by now, and water poured from the end of her wand instantly, filling the mug. Once it was about three-quarters full, she cast a quick "Finite", putting her wand away once it had stopped. Then she picked up the mug by the handle and walked out quickly.

West saw a lot of kids going in and out of the kitchen for things and he figured why not? He tickled the pear and went inside and noticed kids grabbing stuff. Think. What to get? Wasn't like he could grab something that would be needed for one of their crappy meals or anything.

He went over to the freezer and opened it.

Oh hey. West reached in and came up with an ice pop. Perfect. They were used in EXPLODING potions. So. He had to make sure it didn't melt though. West cast Glacius on it. and then, thinking back to what the new professor had said, Immobulus as well. Done, he headed out into the corridor.

Oh man, he didn't have long now, and he still needed one more ingredient. Not seeing anything else as he made his way back into the castle, Kaiden ran towards the kitchen. There had to be something in there right? Tickling the pear he looked around. There wasn't a whole lot out in the open, just the house elf, and a bowl of fruit. FRUIT!! Sitting there in the bowl was a couple of lemons. Those would work right? Quickly he grabbed those and made his way to the classroom.

She wanted something sweet on her list of ingredients, and so why not go for the kitchens and grab something? It wasn't like she couldn't easily find stuff. The fourth year practically lived here this year what with all the cooking she was doing for herself and some of her friends.

Moving around most all of the other students that were also here to get something for potions class, she went over to the cabinets and grabbed the honey. Hm. Maybe she would make something with honey today, since sweets were on her mind.

The whole bottle went with her as she excited the kitchens.

Today Aphrodite met a Gryffindor student named Kyle when they were in the Common Room and saw she'd been starving because Aphrodite has no appetite, Ky, that he wanted to be called, took her to the most appropriate place, The Kitchen. But Aphrodite go to there alone because Ky said, he will catch up soon. While reaching her satchel, Aphrodite pull out a red apple that she will give to the boy. Maybe this can help.

Ky peered cautiously around the kitchen. It was sure big...except lacking some good food. There were some fruits and small desserts, but nothing Ky would find really appetizing. There were at least some house elves here, right?

As his stomach growled, Ky noticed the little girl, Fro, he had met in the common room. He had promised her to meet her in the kitchen. Seeing as Fro came early, Ky walked up to the cute, little firstie and ruffled her hair.

"Frooooooooooo....." Ky playfully greeted her. He saw the girl holding a bright, red apple in her hand. "Oohh...are you stealing? Or is that for me?

Sophia could barely stand the condition that she was working in. Really bankrupt basically with no house elves and they had to do their own laundry. Well she would not stand for it, so she sent home for her own personal house elf; Marley. She suppose the right thing to do was to lend him to the school so he could help Toddles with the work load but not yet. Her personal needs had to be sorted out first..and only then was he allowed to serve others.

And that was why she was here now showing him around. The house-elf seemed overly excited about the work load here which caused Sophia to shake her head. She never really understood the nature of house-elves.

"And here is where you will prepare my meals Marley. And while you do that, you can teach Toddles a thing or two. His meals are ghastly."

Marley bowed low until his ears swept the ground."As mistress wishes..Marley will do."

Toddles nodded at the girl who she had once played catch with.

Yes, she was a fun studensie. But now there was a boy who was holding her other hand? Toddles took a step over and held his other hand with his baby one and stared at him as he talked.

Oh they would do the salad? That was good, good, good! "That is good to be hearing, Toddles will like that. Be sure to wash the leafies and then break them up and put them in the big big bowls over there in the closet. Then you can get the baby tomatoes and put them in there too." Yes, that was the kind of salad they would be having.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODLES!

"Toddles would love to have you do the noodles missus!" Toddles watched the girl walk over to the food place and pick out the box. That's how he would have done it.

Now she was just looking at the oven. He would have to show her, Toddles would. "Here." He scooted in front of her and pressed the button to turn the stove on. "You need to use a BIG pot and then put water in it first." Yes, that's the way.

Good studensie.

"Toddles is going to be working on the bread!" He jumped up on the counter and began rifling through the cabinets making a ton of noise until he found a huge stack of baking sheets. He then threw those on the floor all spaced out. Next he went to the pantry and began tossing loafs of bread out into a pile by the cookie sheets.

"This is going to be yummy bread, it will."

Ronnie entered the kitchen after walking along the grounds. All that walking had made her hungry!

She walked around the kitchen, wondering what she should have for a little snack. Perhaps some ice cream?? She LOVED ice cream. HEHEHEHEHE. Now, wheeere was it? She spun around the room, searching for the freezer. WHERE WAS THAT FREEZER?

Nigel went down to the kitchen to make himself an awesome snack. Nigel was not really been to the great hall since the opening feast. He did not eally want to pay the price to enter the hall. So he just mooched food of his uncle. Who would owl him whole meals. But now he wanted ice cream.

Nigel just entered when he spotted Ronnie there. Wow, it seems that he has not talked to her in years.

"Hey Ronnie" Nigel greeted her smiling. "You here for some awesome ice cream too."

Nigel was also looking for some sweets to go with the ice cream. Maybe Ronnie would know where those are. Or maybe she just got here also.

Ronnie spun around as she heard her name to find herself facing Nigel. *gasp* NIGEL! She hadn't spoken to him in ages! She wrapped the boy into a big bear hug and gave him a squeeze. "Hey, Nigel!" she said as she let him go. "I haven't seen you in AGES!" she said.

She grinned as he mentioned ice cream and nodded eagerly. "Mhm! I'm pretty sure they're over here," she said, opening the freezer and pulling out a tub of ice cream and setting it on the counter. She then went and grabbed an armful of toppings and dropped them next to the ice cream. After fetching two bowls, she gave one to Nigel. It was awesome making and eating ice cream with a friend.

What was this room? She peeked in...plates, tables, eateries here and there....AH, an elf! So this must be the kitchen. Look around...SAFE.

ENTER.

And immediately she spotted Fro, who stood in the room with her pretty satchel. "Hey cake girl!" she called out loudly, with a grin. She loved the girl's chocolate cake. "Have you got something for me?" she asked, looking curiously at her bad, as she moved towards Fro. She always had something in her bag.

Nigel was definitely not expecting the hug. He smiled back. It was nice to see her again. Since this was her last term here.

Wow, that was a lot of ice cream. But there was probably more last year. Since it seemed the school was poor this term. He took some ice cream and started to eat some thinking. Wouldn't it be awesome to make an ice cream tower.

Nigel started to make a small one using the ice cream i had gotten. Maybe Ronnie would help him with it. "You know what would be awesome to make is an gigantic ice cream tower. We should make one right now"

Nigel hoped his wanted to make one. It would be totally awesome.

She had free time!

No, she actually didn't, but she claimed this non-free time as free time, because she really wanted some ice cream at the moment. Like...really wanted it. Curse the moments in which she agreed to go to all those fast food places with Airey over the summer. It just killed her eating habits now. Ice cream! Before dinner! It was unspeakable.

Or, actually, what time was it? Her watch wasn't working anymore.

Tapping the homemade metal watch on her wrist, Medea glanced up when she heard what supposedly was an elf speaking. She half expected it to be the Headmistress that he was speaking to, however, Medea had half the mind to turn back around and go back to her office once she realized it was the Charms professor. She couldn't avoid the woman forever and besides, the defense professor was in a good mood.

"Sophia!" Haaai. "Never would have expected to see you here."

Ronnie gasped at his idea, nodding eagerly. "That's brilliant! Let's do it!" she said. "AND LET'S COVER IT WITH TONS OF TOPPINGS!" she added a little loudly, bouncing excitedly. Oh this would be so awesome! They'd probably have a horrid stomach ache, but it was SO worth it.

"Shall we begin, then?" she asked, looking at him with a bright smile.

Nigel was getting more excited by the minute thinking about the mountain of ice cream. They would probably get tremendous brain freeze but it would be so worth it.

Nigel loved her idea of putting toppings on it. That would just add to the awesomeness of it. "Okay, Lets get started. I think we should just have a ton of chocolate ice cream at the bottom then build it up using vanilla and just cover it in an avalanche of toppings. " Nigel smirked. He had always wanted to use the word avalanche in a sentence.

While saying that Nigel got to work getting big enough plates to use for their mountain. Then he started to make the base using the chocolate ice cream.

Eliza blushed when Toddles had to show her how to use the oven, but she knew it was all right. She'd never used this oven before and in her opinion, no two kitchen appliances were alike. Besides, her mom and dad did most of the cooking at home, so she wasn't really used to getting the stove started. Boiling water though, she could do.

She searched in the lower cupboards of the kitchen, since that's where they kept pots and pans at home - and behold! A very large, very deep pot was right there waiting for her. That should be enough for all of this pasta, right? She remembered from cooking spaghetti at home that noodles went a long, long way.

She lugged the heavy pot out and put it on top of the oven, making a loud clanging sound. She flinched at her noise, and looked around the kitchen in hopes she hadn't disturbed anyone. That's when she noticed some of the professors coming into the kitchen. She waved at them with one hand and held the pot still with the other. "Hi there Professors!" She wondered if they were down here for a snack too, but she didn't ask.

She turned back to the pot and began filling it with water. "Aguamenti!" She filled it up, up, and up. Lots of noodles would need lots of water, so she gave it what it needed. "Finite." Now it was time for the noodles. She grabbed the box and pulled out a handful, then another, and another. There were a lot of students at Hogwarts and she didn't want anyone going hungry, so she made sure it would fill the pot.

But until then, she waited for the water to boil. And waited. And waited. Okay big pot equals long wait time for boiling. Wait...can't I...Yes! Adding salt makes it boil faster. She grabbed some and shook a bit into the pot. Now it was really starting to bubble, so she dumped in the pasta.

Ronnie smiled as he suggested the chocolate ice cream at the bottom. "Sounds good to me!" she said with a nod, giggling at the avalanche of toppings part. She then began scooping chocolate along with him on the plate, making sure to get it allll on the plate. YUMMM.

Now they were in business. Nigel was ready to build a massive mountain. They just had to finish the base. "Do you think we should use like cookies as toppings also." Nigel asked as they finished the base of it.

But now they had to question to ask. What kind of ice cream to use next. Probably vanilla. But that was a boring choice. They should use a more exciting ice cream.

"Should we just use vanilla next and keep piling it up until it is awesome?"

Nigel could always use more awesomeness in his ice cream.

"Of course! The more toppings, the better." Ronnie answered with a firm nod. Man, she was going to be so very hyper after eating all this. And very full. But that wasn't a problem. It was ice cream!!!!!

Ronnie looked at her ice cream mountain thoughtfully at Nigel's next question. "Nah, let's put more flavors as we go. It'll be even more awesome, and tasty." she said, nodding as she got out a tub of strawberry ice cream. "Strawberry is my most favorite!" she said as she began to open it. She started to dump scoops and scoops of strawberry ice cream onto her chocolate base. YUM.

Then she had an idea. "Oooh! And we should have banana slices surrounding the base!" she suggested with a grin. It'd be like a banana split mountain!

Minnie made her way to the kitchen. She was reaaaalllyyyy excited about meeting Zeke and obviously she was excited about the food. When was she not excited about food? What would she had?

Thinking about all the delicious stuff she could request the blonde entered the kitchen and sat down at one of the empty benches. Zeke would probably be here soon. Mmmh....maybe she was in the mood for a pumpkin spice latte and a chocolate muffin. Maybe she wanted a bagel and a hot chocolate? So many things to choose from. Usually the Slytherin would just have pie but it kinda felt wrong to have pie without Chris or Ryan. And trying new things was good, sometimes changes were good. She definitely had experienced that in the past.

Yup, they said they'd meet in the Kitchen. Zeke skipped ran from his common room to the said meeting place. He was about 5 minutes late which was not good. Waking up isn't exactly his favorite job to do.

That being said, he threw on the first t-shirt he could get his hands on and some shorts this morning and zoomed off in a hurry downstairs. Almost out of breath, he opened the door to the place, not realizing that he wore his plain white shirt backwards despite it being hardly noticeable. The brown haired boy's eyes wandered around, trying to figure out which one of the people around was Minnie.

Gee there was quite a number of students around. Food in the Great Hall's probably not that good anymore. Oh well at least it's free to go in here unlike there. Bleh. Anyway, he'd been sure what he wanted. Ice cream....GRIN.

Ohright. Minnie, Minnie....uhm.

AH THERE. "Hey!" Zeke waved a little then walked over towards her using the remaining energy he had. This Gryffindor had to eat. Now. It's the body's fuel right? Yeah. Sooo ICE CREAAAM. "Nice outfit," he noted and gave her a smile.
