She was alive!
For the love of all good tea in this precious world, she was alive and breathing and not at all unconscious.
Not even minding that she missed the snitch, Medea flew STRAIGHT to the ground and shakily dismounted, letting the broom fall to the grass. Oh, the grass. She moved to lay on the ground, taking deep breaths and shutting her eyes momentarily until they shot back open when she heard the Headmistress's order to shake hands. Oh. Oh right.
The Students! Goodness, they were some fantastic players. "Congratulations!" she spoke with a grin, rising up from the ground. Her legs were working, right? Just a little wobbly. "Vell done, Student team. You are a tough group of players."

UGH.
Okay. As much as Kat totally liked Professor Barlow, she was TOTALLY not glad about how many times that woman had scored against her. Yeah, West was right about her being STEAMED. She wasn't used to this, losing all the goals. Yes. ALL. So awful.
But PFFT, she knew she was better than this. Maybe it just wasn't her lucky day at all.
Kat was watching Alec and Professor Romanos chasing the snitch. Yes. With squinted eyes. She wanted to see perfectly what had happened. The Slytherin was at the verge to go all supportive for her team's seeker, until a bludger caught her eye.
STARE. Really? Lafay had hit it at Elise. SERIOUSLY. Head of house had style. And then...
BANG!
Kat got hit too and was sent falling off her broom with Elise. Luckily, they landed on a pile of grass. However as they fell, Kat's nose had gotten hit by her bestfriend's elbow. OH... broken nose. This wasn't her lucky day. CLEARLY. The prefect groaned as she landed on her back and on Elise's arm. "Zorry..." Kat said. SIGHS. She sounded so weird now.
Her head of house kind of hit her with a bludger. Hitting your own house prefect, huh? Well, it WAS quidditch.
The Slytherin then stood up and join her other team mates, still with one hand covering her nose that was bleeding. "Good game, everyone..." UGH. NO. Nosebleed. But whatever. THEY WON OKAY? Kat went over to the seeker, Alec. "You did AWESOME, dude." Then handshakes for the other team. Well, did they want to shake a girl with a bloody hand? Hehe.
But... weather. Why was it suddenly cold? Kat groaned even more. A broken nose and a cold weather... how fortunate.

Mellow. Yes Nessie could hear West telling her to stop screeching and no she was not impressed with him. It was not her fault what came out her mouth, it just did and it was a good distraction anyways. Heh. See she just scored so screeching was good.
Except WHAT IN THE---*STARE* That was some bludger. Lafay clearly gettting her revenge on students. That woman was NOT someone to mess with. Most of the staff was to be honest.
But HEH LOOK AT ALECUTIE! WAS THAT THE SNITCH HE WAS CATCHING IT WAS!
*SQUEEEEEEEEE*
The Hufflepuff fist pumped the air, beamed and then shivered as breeze of cold air flew through the stadium. Odd. Maybe the weather had become bipolar? That's the only explanation she had for that.
With a curious pout at the weather, Nessie zoomed forward and landed spotting a few others. She walked over still shivering and gave them all nods. "Good..d..d game." She said with a slight stutter on the d due to her shivering. "Well do..done." She then extended her hand to the older red head, the Headmistress.
This cuddle weather. SHE WANTED CUDDLES...and she was willing to randomly hug someone..that someone being Alecutie. She walked up to him and wrapped her arms tightly around him not saying a word. Totally not awkward then.

After a sort of miserable start, Mo had finally found his groove late in the game. It was good he'd found it while his sister was still watching AND while he was still playing for Alice and Elise both, because he'd be mortified if he had a terrible game in this particular company. Not just embarrassing himself in front of family, but in front of his favorite captains too. Mo landed and dropped his broom immediately, his eyes seeking out the rest of his team.
Oh yeah... and the other team too.
"Good game," he offered a hand to anyone close enough to reach, giving a firm shake and a huge smile before moving on. "Good game. You were brilliant."
When he got to Elise, Mo frowned at her rather crumpled form. Captain was hurt. "You want I should carry you in, 'lise? It's getting cold... might rain or somethin'." And he was absolutely strong enough to carry her. Absolutely.

Theo sped down to the pitch because he had to be a part of the win. It was weird to do half of the match, then sit in the stands to watch the remainder, and whilst it sucked that he didn't play a whole game, it was still fun to watch his teammates go at it. He dodged any eye contact with professors, especially Bellaire and Lafay, and headed for everyone as they landed. He was momentarily distracted by the sudden breeze of cold, though.
He looked up and pulled his robes around him tighter. Weird weather was weird.
Good job he was wearing woollen socks today.
Anyway, he made his way over to the rest of the students, but wasn't in the mood to give handshakes to professors. Not yet anyway... Theo beamed at Dylan, and would definitely celebrate with him later in the common room. He eyed the snitch in Alec's hand, then made his way over to him. "Nice catching, Summers." And he smiled. Yup. Awkward.
It really was cold, you know.

GUESS WHAT?!
They won. THEM. The students. They won fair and square against their Professors, including the Headmistress and ever so handsome Groundskeeper who had blood on him. N'aww. Poor man. But at least no one died, right? Only minor injuries here and there. Clearly, this had been one amazing experience...for all of them even if they only had a short time to play.
So anyway, after all the jumping and flailing and cheering she had done on the Stands despite her messy hair and exhaustion from the first session, her boyfriend was now dragging her off to the Pitch. No complaints here, only a wide beaming face.
ALTHOUGH....when they neared.....there came a chilling breeze.
With a slight shiver, the brunette reached out to rub the back of her neck. Her tattoo was tingling. Again. Was it glowing? Ugh. She hoped not. Because if it was, it meant danger was brewing near.
Staying close to Dylan, she squeezed on his hand and whispered back, "Babe....my tattoo...." Just so he'd know. She didn't hide anything from him, you know.
But too much for that......HEADMISTRESS UP FRONT. Could she possibly ask her now why the school suddenly become poor? Hah. Maybe not. "Headmistress Truebridge, you were exceptional." Professor James have mentioned to Beezus that both her and the Headmistress played for the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team before so....yeah.
And, and...."Superb chasing, Penelope." She grinned at the lioness. She'd been rather fierce out there.
Lookit. Her Captain. "Elise! You were amazing." So like....can she and Dylan make up now? Because they were both amazing people and amazing people ought to be on each other's side right? Or something like that.
Then there came The Summers. She would've latched to him and squeeze him out of delight if she had not been clinging to her boyfriend. So....Alec got a VERY wide grin as she mouthed off a 'Congratulations' and she offered a two-finger salute too.
DAZZLER. "I see you're still dazzling even though you're bleeding." Hehehe. She did REAL awesome too. So kudos to you Miss Keepah!
"Professor Romanos....you played brilliantly. I didn't know you were that fast on a broom." The woman even managed to snag a snitch from her boyfriend.
Nessie did awesome too. "Head Girl, congrats!" Beams and all. Her red hair soared swift and high today.
AND THEN...MO. "Mo! Pup!" He was tending to Elise...N'awww. Ravenclaw love, anyone? "Well-played...I'm so proud of you." And Beezus was more than sure that everyone else was too. Especially Vivi.
She also sent another two-finger salute at Theo 'cause they weren't so much on each other's bad side now, right? Right, at least for her.
.......Still staying close to Dylan, though. It was rather cold.

Annie was kind of whirring and blinking and taking in all the sights of limping students (HEH) as her hearing slowly came back to her. Merlin, the crowd was LOUD. Those commentators had been LOUD. Hopefully they'd all kept it school appropriate... ahem, was that players from the first session coming to rub in their win too?
"Mr. Montmorency," the redhead cleared her throat and stiffly shook his hand. Aww, he'd thought she'd played exceptionally well. Suck-up. "Well thank you. Although we did not win, we are glad we have some talented people living in this castle."
They just weren't on the payroll, she supposed. OH WELL.

Annie WANTED to be all snide and shout at the kids to wipe those smiles right off their faces but... she had to be a role-model right now, and role models didn't just make snide remarks. Not good sporting role models.
"Good game to you too," she told the Gryffindor instead, giving her a firm handshake as well.

The praying thing?) or more like simply pleaded with whoever was listening as she pulled the scarf ever-present around her neck up to cover her nose.
It was cold. Had nobody else realized that?
And well well well, what did they have here. Little Miss BLUDGEONING. Annie eyed the girl as she looked to be quite in pain, but said nothing comforting to her. No no, she knew Lafay would have plenty of words for this one.
"Congratulations on the win," she said instead, giving the girl's hand a good LONG and HARD shake, complete with a nail-piercing grip. "Captain." Hisssssss!

Oh good Merlin the next one down the handshake line was that ever-cheerful 'Puff. Summers. Annie's eyes narrowed to slits as she shook that one's hand as well.
"Mhm. Same to you, kid, same to you." WELL, he HAD gotten the snitches out from under Romanos' nose! Unfortunately...

Bunz did want to shake the hand of that Keeper girl oh yes she did, blood or gore or something more. She didn't care. She gave the Keeper's hand a firm, strong handshake, probably stronger than the one she'd given to Fairfield, and then she took a second glance at it.
"Do you need that set, deary?" The Headmistress was looking positively wolfish. "I can fix your hand in no time." Mwahahaha. Well, she could...

Peyton waved at John as she made her way down to the pitch. Talk about sneaky big brother. Hehe. Good thing she'd been on her best behavior.
Jumping off the last step and sprinting toward the growing crowd of people, Peyton beamed. "You guys were great!" she squealed. Then turned, offering the professors smiles and handshakes. "You all played well too." NOT as well as the young peeps, but at least they didn't break a hip or something.
OH!
There was Kat and she was bleeding. Ouch. Walking over to her friend, Peyton made a face as if it hurt her that Kat was hurt. "Are you okay? Besides the bleeding?" she asked.
The cold seemed to have spread toward the pitch too. Peyton shivered, standing close to Kat. She was offering her body warmth, okay. That's what friends did.

Shake hands? No way, Alice was busy with VICTORY LAPS.
Did no one know that this was the first game she'd won? Ever? In all her years of Quidditching? Well, it WAS, and she was ecstatic beyond measure about it. They had no time for good sportsmanship and graciousness and all of that useless junk, she was a WINNER. There were pseudo-players to be excited for and commentators to stare at (and Bellaires to run from, because Merlin, that professor Lady looked INCENSED).
"Brilliant game, professors, you guys were awesome. Sorry we ran you over." She hung upside down off her broom by the knees, waving frantically at the other team and grinning from ear to ear. And she blew a couple of kisses at the stands, or certain people in the stands, for good measure. Was Alice supposed to apologize for biting a member of the staff, too? But she really wasn't sorry for that at all, so she was just going to leave that part out.
Injuries, though, couldn't wait. "Someone Episkey my Keeper, yeah? And what happened to my Co-Captain?" Looks for you, Lafay. Alice had SEEN that.

Oh, Merlin. No no no. Anything but the vice grip. Almost flinching at just the look in her headmistress' eyes, she moved her arm very slightly. It would probably be a decent enough shake but her eyes were watering. "You played well too, Headmistress."
HER ARM. LET IT GO!

Beaming at her prefect and dorm-buddy, Elise nodded. It was pretty much all she could do not to say "I know." It wasn't even her fault! Conceitedness pretty much came hand in hand with having Kat as her bestie, and restraining it was a great thing.
"Thanks, Bee. Means a lot to me."
First game, y'know?

Elise staggered a little bit, offering her favourite female Slytherin a small smile that looked more like 'You just tried to kill me?' than an 'It's okay, I forgive you.' Not her fault, though. She was pretty convinced that the arm was either really badly dislocated, smashed or broken. Probably broken, since she had loads of experience with those.
Offering a "Good game" and a weak smile to everyone without her arm, Elise figured that a nice mug of tea would be quite nice right then. She was just about to go inside and maybe have Presley fix her arm before she did it when her favourite team mate walked up to her. Ohhaithere, Mo.
"Can you?" she asked, almost pleading but trying really hard to make it sound like she doubted his ability to carry her. No, she wasn't being confusing at all. Just in a lot of pain and not really wanting to walk anywhere. So if Chris wasn't there, she'd take whoever offered to carry her.
And what was that, Alcie? Did she not deserve an Episkey too?

More people were coming up to the pitch. Well, they were actually the players from the first session. Kat watched as they started joining them and stuff. The Slytherin couldn't do much now, since she was still covering her nose with one hand. She needed her wand now, so she could Episkey this thing. It was bleeding like Niagara Falls under her hand you know. If only they could SEE it. It would stop bleeding soon though, yeah?

The Headmistresses didn't seem to have minded the blood on the Slytherin's hand. Oh well... that was sort of good to know that she didn't freak out. Some would refuse to shake a hand with blood. Kat thought the Headmistress wouldn't, but she was proven wrong.
... Her hand? "My hand is fine, Headmistress," Kat said, although the handshake was... you know, strong and stuff. Hmm. Her other hand was still covering her nose though. Didn't wanna see blood. She'd rather get her nose fixed.

After that awkward handshake with the Headmistress, Kat saw her ICKLE!Peyton. Gotta love this kid, you know. The blonde smiled at the younger Slytherin. "Other than my nose, nothing else is broken." See? Kat only had a nose to tend. It was cute that Peyton cared. Aww.
UGH. Cold again. With Peyton close to Kat, the blonde placed a hand on the girl's shoulder. You know, the hand that wasn't covered with blood. That hand was still hiding her nose from the public. Nope, Kat didn't want anyone to see her nose in this state. Nada.

There was Kat's other captain. Well, her captain for this match at least. The Slytherin really liked Alice. She liked her even MORE after nearly biting Bellaire's arm off. Oh, that was so priceless. "Hey Captain," she called. "Awesome beating." BEAM. People should be afraid of her. Seriously.
"Also... that was a nice bite." Hehehehe.

Sitting on the bench and practically biting his fingers off as he watched the second half anxiously with the ice pack pressed against his head that Medea had given him, he JUMPED to his feet when the final whistle blew.
WOOOOOOOOOOOT! THE MATCH WAS OVER! THEY HAD LOST! STUDENTS HAD WON! THINGS WERE JUST AWESOME!
"Risin' up, back on the street ... Took my time, took my chances ..." he began to belt out.
On his feet, Airey decided he should tie the ice pack against his head with his tie just to be safe. He was feeling just fine but, Medea orders to keep it on. At least he could still sing. And so he did.

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUR! This ice pack was a whole lot colder than he thought. Must be the extra pressure applied by tying it to himself as opposed to just holding it.
Shiver running down his spine, Airey made his way onto the pitch still singing. Although he did stopped he singing to say a few things.
"Well done everyone! Stellar efforts all around!" he grinned as he ran by student and staff alike, giving each person a VERY healthy pat on the back or hair ruffle as he did. "Congratulations students!"
You had beaten a bunch of old people. Be proud.
Now back to his song.
"It's the eye of the tiger....It's the thrill of the fight!"

"MEDEA!" Frolic frolic frolic. "YOU DID IT! YOU WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD!"
Everyone had been out of this world really, but the brunette had been especially so considering the little experience she had flying on a broom. So, still grinning from ear to ear, Airey wrapped Medea up in a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG bear hug while he continued to hum and sort of sway in place.
"And he's watching us all with the eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeye ... of the tiger."

So... it wasn't the end of the world that Erin's fellow staff members had lost. It was sad - she was currently mostly worried for the Headmistress's taking of the loss - but certainly the students needed a win like that. After all, how high would their morale have been if their own professors had beat them? It would have put a damper on the whole regular Quidditch season, Erin imagined.
"Congratulations to the student team on your victory," James announced, giving a smile and a silent nod of approval up to her superb co-commentators, Odessa and Keller, for their job well done. "You will all receive a little something in the post to commemorate this feat. To all the staff, you played valiantly!"
And... that was all she was going to say to them. Even as a fully grown adult herself, Erin was a tad afraid of Lafay right now and figured the staff as a whole would rather just be left alone for now. Heh.
When a sudden, strange chill overtook the stadium, James gave a slight head-tilt and a glance at the Headmistress in response, then promptly continued along casually, "All who are interested may move along to the Great Hall for tea or hot chocolate! We hope you've enjoyed today's match!"
The injured. There were quite a few, weren't there? But... no one was knocked out cold, it seemed, so that was good. Just some blood here and there, mostly from the nearby student team's Keeper. "Miss Hudson? Are you all right?" She wasn't entirely sure if the nose was broken or not; the poor girl was keeping it well-hidden. All in all, Healer Tillstorm probably wouldn't be too livid about the state of things. Probably.

Oh yeah... and the other team too.
Absolutely.
MO DUDE. Fellow... dude player on the team. Because it had been the two of them with five girls playing today. And Alec sort of felt like they bonded or something over this tiny little similarity. Sort of.
"Hey!" he said, reaching out and patting the boy on the shoulder. Hopefully that wasn't a place where he had gotten hurt? ... If he had gotten hurt, that is. "You played brilliantly too, you know." And it was a pity that the two wouldn't get to play on the same team again. Yeah.

One who was actually coming over towards him, Alec, and talking to him.
Yeah... this was going to be awkward.
And the use of the surname? Sounded too weird, dude. "You can call me Alec if you want, you know," he said, smiling back at the guy and trying his hardest not to shuffle awkwardly, "And thanks! You played brilliantly in the first half!" Really.

That's what friends did.
... Someone else was here. The girl from Tag's rainbow cake party... and... the girl who had asked him about kissing that one time. Yeah... there was no mistaking the girl's red hair.
"Hey Peyton!" he said, smiling and waving at her, "You played brilliantly too!" Yeah... brilliant Beating! And he was going to be slightly scared about playing up against her and the rest of the Slytherins later on in the term.

Hulk. Hanging. Upside down.
BLINK.
Alec waved back at her, half amused and half confused by the girl's actions. Because she was Hulk, you know. Hulks bite people and waste their ice cream in excitement but did Hulks hang upside down on their brooms too?

Probably.
... Oh?
Did she say hot chocolate? REALLY? GRIN. Hot chocolate actually sounded great right about now. Especially with how cold it had gotten. ... But first. "Erm... thanks for doing this Professor!" Dylan noted Beezus staying close and was immensely grateful. She was listening. Thank you very much.
After shaking the Headmistress' hand, he kinda blew her off for Professor Romanos, who'd just landed nearby. She'd done so well...and the Slytherin Captain had to admit he as impressed with her speed and dexterity on a broom. Had she ever played before? Dylan tried to remember if he'd ever personally asked her that...
No, he didn't think he had...
One hand still clinging to one of Bee's, he proceeded to walk around and offer handshakes to everyone in the immediately area....or dap'age, as he liked to call it. Excessive dap'age for Summers. He knew that kid could keep the momentum going from the first half of the match. Alice........and maybe Elise.......had done a fantastic job with Captain'ing his talent.
Speaking of Alice...
Could he just comment on how adorable she was being? This was her first official win as a Captain...That was a big deal. "Hey you!" Dylan was shouting up at her, a wide grin in place..."We'll talk later!"
...And Penelope was getting a massive hug. Yes...HUGS for her. HIS Penelope and all that. Everyone knew.
...And to Peyton and Theodore. "Party in Slytherin later, yes?"...because this was totally a big deal and deserved a party. A party like WHOA...Also, stepping over to Hudson, he pulled his wand and aimed it at her body in general. "Episkey!" Wasn't this her first injury? "....Get back inside, okay?"
With all that handled, Dylan leaned over to Bee and kissed her forehead. "You are brilliant, did you know?"...because he wanted to tell her...and he was freezing and wanted to be close. Dixon had mentioned cuddle weather and really...Dylan didn't need the excuse of weather to cuddle. So, snorts for her...Noting Professor James landing, though...he muttered into her ear. "Let's go warm up."
Hot chocolate actually sounded really nice.

Oh, erm... Mo straightened up at the sight of his gardening buddy. She'd played during the first round, and she's played extremely well TOO. Slytherins did. Maybe scary!Dylan's diet had some small merit?
No, probably not. Not if cupcakes or ice cream weren't permitted.

See? Sometimes it was vitally important to have big strong manly men on the team, right? Mo grinned and offered an arm to Elise without comment, the first arm going around her shoulders and the other catching her at the knees. Oomph. No big deal. He could totally carry her up to the castle. No problems here.
"Do you want to go to the infirmary, or should I take you to the Great Hall for cocoa?" Because the Great Hall only required carrying her up the first flight of stairs, and then there was some liquid sustenance.

Bro-in-arms! Mo bobbled Elise a bit before giving Alec a grin and nod. Thank Merlin he'd had Alec on the team or else he'd been completely inundated by estrogen the entire time. And that was dangerous for one's well being, even if one was Marcus Orion Branxton.

The Headmistress NOTICED the girl's eyes watering and only squeezed her hand HARDER, PUMPING her arm up and down to give it the best workout possible.
Hmm, what was that? She'd played well? "Take care of yourself now, Miss Fairfield," the redhead replied cryptically. "Wouldn't want any pre-season injuries affecting the rest of your year's play."

Say whaaaaaaaaat? Great Hall and hot chocolate. And tea. Kat perked up a bit. That was a relief after getting her own nose broken. It definitely wasn't a good feeling to break a body part. Ugh. Kat was breathing from her mouth cos well, you know why. She didn't wanna be reminded of it anyway so yeah. Kat wanted to get something to drink though after the match. She'll just have to forget the fact that she had to pay at the turnstile... again. SIGHS.
Oh she heard her name. She did. Kat turned around and saw Professor James. "I'm alright, Professor," she assured her although she knew that her Professor can tell something was wrong with her nose. "Just a broken nose. Nothing else besides that." And bleeding too. Healer Tillstorm would be able to fix this soon right? Nobody wanted to live with a weird-looking nose.

Meh. Her nose felt weird and Kat was still hiding it. She wanted it fixed as soon as possible because her nose was important. No nose = no air = dead. You see? She can breathe with her mouth though but it was different. A whole lot different. Freaky deformed nose.
"You're welcome," she said. He did play seeker well. Him and Dylan both. They beat Professor Romanos who also had secret seeker skills. Whoa whoaaa, Hogwarts was a talented school. Brilliant... right. Not being able to block anything wasn't brilliant, Alec. Plus her first Quidditch injury too. "Yeah... thanks, I guess...." She tried her best though, but she can do better than what she did. SHE KNEW IT.

She wasn't eavesdropping or anything, but Kat heard "Slytherin" and "party" in one sentence. That would awesome though, having a huge celebration for winning against experienced people. The staff did play well, but the student team did better. MHM, she can prove it. And then her Captain (the real one this time) had Episkey'd her.
Ooooowww... her nose felt strange. Hot and then cold. Kat uncovered her nose and touched it softly. It was fixed! Although the blood was still there. Meh. She could Tergeo the blood off later once she got her wand. "Thanks Captain." And yes, she'll get back inside. She wanted tea.

HEHEHE. Did she flatter Stunner's ego? Because that was the whole reason why she had said things.
"No problem." At least she wasn't hiding a nose anymore. All fixed thanks to Bee's Dylan. Mhm. She still wanted tea though (and a nap after that). Can they all finish up the drama in this pitch now, pretty please? She had blood to wipe off her face.

...
Well yes, there is blood on it. Only because she'd rather not let people see that her nose was bleeding like whoa. Kat was going to say something but then...
BLINK.
"Dylan had fixed it already," Kat said, trying to keep calm. Well, she herself WOULD freak if someone had placed blood stains on her robes. But she can't do anything about it cos it was an accident (sort of). "I'll wash it later." Or now even. Maybe before she went to the Great Hall, yeah? Told you nobody wanted to shake a girl's bloody hand. Hehe.

And she'd leave it and leave the girl to Lafay at that, moving on to the next person in line
The headmistress was clearly just as crazy as the Potions Mistress. Maybe it had to do with the word Mistress in their titles? Who knew. All Elise knew was that THIS HURT. A LOT. And Elise didn't generally complain about her Quidditch injuries since they were common with being a beater and all that.
"Of course, ma'am." LET GO OF HER ARM. What was so difficult about it? You were abusing your students. STOP! No injury would keep her down, though. Besides, she had a solid two weeks recovery period before her next match. She could totally nail this.
And she dropped the arm. FINALLY! Sweet Mother of Merlin, it looked even more deformed than ever now. Where was a healer when you needed her on the pitch? Elise was SO close to crying now. Pain, pain, pain. Nothing short of pure and total pain.
Oooooh they were getting prizes for winning? That was just amazing! And food too, which was always a good thing. Unless it was porridge and grey guck because she ate that almost every day and it had never tasted good to begin with. Which was probably why she'd learnt to cook for herself and Ethan and Mo.

He could totally carry her up to the castle. No problems here.
"Do you want to go to the infirmary, or should I take you to the Great Hall for cocoa?" Because the Great Hall only required carrying her up the first flight of stairs, and then there was some liquid sustenance.
Elise blinked a little as Mo actually picked her up, not really being able to flail or anything with her injured arm. He actually thought she was serious? Not that she was complaining or anything. She liked being carried very much, thank you. She'd probably hug him if her arm didn't protest as much as it did with movement.
"The hall, I think," she grinned despite her watery eyes. Mo was hungry, she could tell. Besides, Presley would probably be at the Hall and hopefully having her wand. She didn't particularly fancy having to see Healer Tillstorm. The whole staff probably hated her right then, anyway. Whoops?

Oh, yay! It was Bee! From where she was, it was a bit hard to salute Bee back and she definitely wasn't going to use her right hand to do it so... "I was going to ask Presley." Nod. Presley was good at all that healing stuff, especially since she was going to be a Healer after Hogwarts. But yes, matches to win and she was going to win them. With her amazing team. But... weather. Why was it suddenly cold? Kat groaned even more. A broken nose and a cold weather... how fortunate.
...
That could have been her. THAT. COULD. HAVE. BEEN. HER.
A slight shudder went through her, though it possibly could have been due to the cold. Goodness, you just don't know HOW dangerous quidditch could be until you played it. "Good game, Miss Hudson!"
Someone fix the poor girl's nose.

All the handshakes!
"Good game, Mister Branxton. You played rather magnificently." Medea smiled while shaking his hand before he moved onto the next person. And she...she was still trying to get her heart back to a normal pace.

It really was cold, you know.
Just as she was heading closer to the group, she almost missed young Theo arriving on the pitch. ALMOST! Medea backtracked a little. Might as well go pick up her broom too before someone tripped on it. "Vell played, Mister Kinsley!"

Plus her legs weren't feeling so wobbly anymore and it felt GREAT to walk around. Oh? "Quite honestly, I didn't know either." She chuckled, clinging to the broomhandle.
Hehe. Ahem. "Brilliant game though, Miss Castell. You all played superbly."

Oh, they all 'played well too'. Medea chuckled with a small shake of her head. They all knew who the champions on the field were today. "And you vere rather amazing out there, Miss Baltazar." she said through her soft chuckles. Handshake! Handshakes all around!

She couldn't worry about the Gryffindor captain for long though for SINGING HAD REACHED HER EARS! It didn't quite register at first, considering the "good games" and handshakes and getting all feeling back in her body things going on, BUT...
Oh, that was her name!
"AIREY!" Flail flail flail. "I KNOOOW! I DIDN'T DIE!"
They had no idea how relieved she was to be actually standing on the ground. Well, sort've now. The BIG hug was rather unexpected yet not unwelcome, and there possibly may have been a slight 'foot pop' there, but she was so ESSITED it didn't even matter! She clung just as much as he hugged.

Probably.
...
That. Sounded. Marvelous!
Glancing over Airey's shoulder because hugging was still going on, Medea grinned even more. Tea AND hot chocolate maybe. Just make a whole day and night of it. Maybe add some ice cream in there, because that was definitely needed after a quidditch game and with a cold front coming in. Hot chocolate ice cream? Was there such a thing as THAT? ICE CREAM that warmed up your insides?
HMMMM?

"Erm... and are you okay?"
Oh! There was the splendid seeker she was fortunate and unfortunate to have played against during the second half. "Mister Summers!" she exclaimed, beaming. "Oh, no, I am no seeker. Unlike you. You vere rather magnificent!"
Which reminded her...of a particular snitch grab...
She was going to be avoiding the headmistress for the rest of the day.

It felt extremely strange to not call him Summers.
"Sure." Theo shrugged coolly. "Yeah, thanks." He always played well, he thought, but wouldn't mention that. The Slytherin looked around awkwardly, then back at the Hufflepuff. He held out his hand. "Wanna... call a truce, Alec?"

Stellar efforts? Ohmygodric. That sounds so sparkly. The man sure knew what words to say. Then she got patted on the back by him. Hehehe. "You were marvelous on a broom too, Professor!" Minus the whole whipping his own tie over his eyes that she almost knocked the Ravenclaw off her broom. Good thing she had good grip or else, she'd fallen to her doom, as West liked to call it.
Speaking of grip, yes...she was still holding tight to Dylan. It was kinda hard, did you know? Walking around, trying to shake hands with people while your other was laced with your boyfriend's own. But she didn't dare pull away. No, thank you.
".............Eyeeeeeeee.......of the tiger..." Mhmm. She did sang that part with the Astronomy Professor though.
Wiiiiiiiide grin.
Ah, Miss Castell! HELLO TO YOU!
Giving her a few firm yet gentle pats on the back, he resisted offering ore congratulations since it would require...OH WHAT THE HECK!? The Slytherin Captain had done fantastic as well and everyone deserved a hug for their fantastic flying and skills. "Thank you, Miss Castell!" GROUP HUG TIME! "You as well, Mr. Montmorency!"
Third wheel hugs were the BEST weren't they? Sure, handshakes were probably more professional, but hugs were just SO much happier and full of life.
"See you both in the Great Haaaaaall," he sang as he stepped away from the two.

Airey sort of started jumping up and down with Medea in his arms as an overwhelming feeling of happiness supernovaed from his very being. "I AM SO GLAD YOU DIDN'T!" Because they he would be a very very sad astronomer. Not to mention all of the students would be devastated to have lost such a fantastic educator. And then there were all her felines...and somehow he feared that she had put one last prank in her will. Some clause that left all her cats to him.
Shiver.
He WOULD, of course take them in if that----okay he was stopping that thought because it was too depressing and totally not appropriate for the given situation.
So it was back to jumping and hugging and singing and, oh, she was clinging to him. That was a welcomed surprise! Slightly releasing her, Airey grabbed her hand and laced their fingers together before nodding in the directing of the departing Headmistress and Flying instructor. "Let's go then," he grinned as he began to lead the way - this time REALLY skipping off the pitch.

Only thing she wasn't very happy about was the detention Lafay had threatened. Merlin, was the woman actually psycho? All she'd done was protect her team from the Professor!beaters! Nothing very detention-able about it, no. It was a great game, though and she was just about to touch down when...
BANG.
The bludger rammed itself into Elise from her right, catching her totally and utterly off guard and making her flail like her life depended on it. Well, her life DID depend on it. Now hanging by the broom by nothing but her feet, her eyes widened as said feet lost their grip. Crashing towards the ground and hitting someone else on the way there, Elise landed on her bad arm, solidifying the one theory she now had about Lafay. The woman was totally and utterly psycho.
Then there was their headmistress, screaming her head off and sounding remarkably like Nessie. Wincing, Elise pushed herself off her only arm that seemed to work and somehow managed to pull herself out from under her bestie. When had she fallen?
"Good game, team!" she grinned, facing her team and debating the merits of pulling Kat back up. Too much pain. Besides, she didn't have a strangely bent arm. She could get up on her own.
Anywaaay, they were supposed to shake hands, right? Elise stared at her headmistress blankly for a moment before very slowly and painfully offering her right hand. Don't grip it too tight, please just don't grip it too tight, she sort of prayed (do Atheists do that? The praying thing?) or more like simply pleaded with whoever was listening as she pulled the scarf ever-present around her neck up to cover her nose.
It was cold. Had nobody else realized that?
She watched the girl and glared. Quidditch was a contact sport. Beaters always got hit, if she didn't like it she could quit. She may still put her in detention... but she'd need a better excuse...
She'd come up with something.

Until he saw Medea that is.
GRIN!
"Can somebody shut him up!" She said in a low hiss. Why did Flamsteed need to be so annoying? "Thank Merlin we lost, I don't think I could have been around him, if he'd won."

"Montmorency, there will be no Party in the Slytherin common room." She said glaring at the boy. "You didn't win the championship, you got lucky in one game, and it wasn't even part of the Quidditch Cup race. So do not let me catch you throwing a party, you won't like the dungeons when it is THIS cold." She looked at Baltazar and Kinsley, "That goes for you two as well. Keep your celebrating to the great hall."
Sore loser? Well... she was a Slytherin, and use to winning. So yeah... DUH!
She wasn't going to the Great Hall. For what? To hear more patting on the back? She turned to the broomshed. She would return Odessa's broom, and now the captain would have something to buy her for Christmas.
