As the crowd erupts into a deafening cheer for their student team, a gentle, chilling breeze folds in around the stadium, slinking it's way through the stands and field. Perhaps it's just the winter weather starting to make it's frosty appearance.

Or perhaps the excitement of the stadium is drawing something nearer.

HOLY MERLIN'S SHORTS AND PANTS that had been one heck of a game.

Anastasia was clutching the back of her head as she landed, rubbing the spot where Romanos had pulled a SNITCH from her hair. She wasn't angry at HER team, though, no, she was quite proud of them. For a bunch of first-time fliers, there had done a smashing job against people half their age. A smashing job.

And they had smashed into some people too, that was true. Now then, where were the captains? "EVERYBODY SHAKE HANDS," the redhead bellowed as she tossed her broomstick aside. "THEN WE CAN TAKE CARE OF INJURIES."

She wasn't sure if that was right procedure for uh, post-game, but that's what she was doing. She was also shouting because it was much louder up in the air than it was on the ground and she'd some hearing loss for whatever reason.

Also, was it just here or was it like, COLD out here now? Brrrrr!

Dylan, with Bee's hand firmly grasped in his own, darted towards the pitch. This was a rather exciting occasion, yes? YOUTH and BEAUTY had beaten out AGE and EXPERIENCE. Baaaaaammm.

He had serious dap'age to hand out to everyone. Who knew that this All-Star game could make him like players from other houses? In regular season, though....they were STILL the enemy.

JUST pointing that out....

...but as he and his Ravenclaw girlfriend ran to join the others....the very air around them seemed to frost over...and freeze in his own lungs...

THEY WON!

HECK YES.

Penelope was SO thrilled. The first session's team had done so well, and then they finished it off with a bang. THAT was how it was DONE.

BEAMING, she guided her broom down and landed with ease. And it seemed the Headmistress was already there as well...and demanding they shake hands before helping the injured? Well, this Gryffindor was in a good mood, so sure, she could shake hands real quick. Then she was checking on Kat and Elise.

"Good game, Headmistress," she said with a grin, offering her hand.

Oh and...it was suddenly really cold? Weird. Had it always been this cold? Maybe. Maybe her adrenaline was just wearing off already. She shivered slightly but tried to ignore it.

So it was a great game and all that, and Elise did injure a few professors but they had no friends but their team on the pitch. It was fact and that was one thing the Ravenclaw believed in. Speaking of her team, they were all brilliant and played superbly. At least the intensive practicing worked in their favour, yeah?

Only thing she wasn't very happy about was the detention Lafay had threatened. Merlin, was the woman actually psycho? All she'd done was protect her team from the Professor!beaters! Nothing very detention-able about it, no. It was a great game, though and she was just about to touch down when...

BANG.

The bludger rammed itself into Elise from her right, catching her totally and utterly off guard and making her flail like her life depended on it. Well, her life DID depend on it. Now hanging by the broom by nothing but her feet, her eyes widened as said feet lost their grip. Crashing towards the ground and hitting someone else on the way there, Elise landed on her bad arm, solidifying the one theory she now had about Lafay. The woman was totally and utterly psycho.

Then there was their headmistress, screaming her head off and sounding remarkably like Nessie. Wincing, Elise pushed herself off her only arm that seemed to work and somehow managed to pull herself out from under her bestie. When had she fallen?

"Good game, team!" she grinned, facing her team and debating the merits of pulling Kat back up. Too much pain. Besides, she didn't have a strangely bent arm. She could get up on her own.

Anywaaay, they were supposed to shake hands, right? Elise stared at her headmistress blankly for a moment before very slowly and painfully offering her right hand. Don't grip it too tight, please just don't grip it too tight, she sort of prayed (do Atheists do that? The praying thing?) or more like simply pleaded with whoever was listening as she pulled the scarf ever-present around her neck up to cover her nose.

It was cold. Had nobody else realized that?

Every single Quidditch game was a game in which the boy felt more or less bad. Because one team had to win and as much as he wanted to win -- which he really really did -- it meant that the other team had to lose. He also felt bad for not really paying attention to what was happening with the others.

AND THE PROFESSORS COULD GIVE THEM DETENTION, YOU KNOW. Or worse... make them spend a day as Lafay's slaves.

... Hopefully Lafay couldn't read his thoughts...

BUT. Important things. Golden things. SNITCH THINGS. GRIN GRIN GRIN.

And Romanos... he did not know that the yoga lady was that speedy. Really. Alec wasn't really one to underestimate the opponent but he felt as if he had really underestimated this one. Maybe it was from all the yoga. Maybe that helped with it came to being more aerodynamic. ... Maybe he could give this a try?

OH HEY HEADMISTRESS WAS HERE. ... And speaking of, did the Snitch like her hair? Because this was the second time that the tiny, golden walnut-sized ball had decided to entangle itself in her hair. As if it was making a nest there. Or as if it had gotten tired of flying around and wanted to take a nap. ... In Pink Headmistress's hair.

With the Snitch clutched tightly in his hand and a BIG WIDE GRIN spread across his face, Alec leant forwards on his broom and headed over towards the ground. The rush of cool air was sort of welcoming and sort of... not. It felt a little TOO cold, you know. As if the weather had done a U-turn and was suddenly deciding that snowing was a good idea. At the end of a match. Which... sounded like something you'd see in a Christmas movie.

OH HEY. CHRISTMAS. HOLIDAYS. GRIN.

The Seeker landed as gently as possible and took a moment to look around. Okay... so Dylan and Penelope and Elise were here too. But first. Headmistress. He ruffled his hair and walked over towards her, a smile spreading across his face. He could... go and see her, right? Yeah? She wouldn't get mad? "Hello Headmistress!" More smile! "Good game! You played brilliantly!" Nodnod.

... Also... "Good game guys," he said, turning his attention towards the three students and giving them each a grin. And handshake!offers too? ... "Is... everyone okay?" At this, his eyes turned to look towards one of his psuedo!Captains who... well... Poor psuedo!Captain.

... And he wanted hugs. Or to go somewhere warm. AND ice cream. Just because.
