Minerva took a deep breath. What a long end of term this had been. She just felt drained from all the crying. Between what she knew now was the cure for the ice cream crazy she had been going through, which was making her super depressed and sad and the emotions she was going through with Ethan leaving Minerva couldn't get herself to stop crying. She felt like she could sleep for days she was so drained. Now it was time to start the without Ethan moments. She already hated this. Two years.. TWO YEARS... she had done pretty much everything with him. Walked to class, sat together in class, worked together, studied together, practiced together, ate together... Everything and now... now she was about to get on this carriage alone. Yes he would be at the train with her, but then that was it when it came to Hogwarts.. She felt more alone then ever at that very moment.

Minerva looked at the carriage for a long while not sure she even had the strength to get on. Looking at the Pygmy Puff on her shoulder she reached up petting her. "You keep losing friend here don't you." Pixar and Grim left with Damon and now Elise the cat wouldn't be back next term. She would be with Ethan. Poor Fluffy was pretty much in the same boat as Min. At least now she had Liesel. Minerva smiled looking at the Owl in it's cage. What a great present she was this past birthday.


Slowly climbing up onto the carriage Minerva sat quietly deep in thoughts of past events. Happy and sad events and how much she was going to miss most of that. Sighing she knew there was no point of dwelling on it. Nothing was changing it, plus it wasn't that she was mad or anything. She was super excited for him. He was going on to bigger and better things. She just hated the fear inside of her that one of those better things might be someone he meets at Uni while she was still here next term.

She tried to push her thoughts away from that and looked off into the distance, but not truly looking at anything.

Oi. This was going to be one of the last times she would be riding one of these carriages. For next year, she was going to be a seventh year. Where had the time gone? Not to mention, it was going to be weird around Hogwarts next term without some of the seventh years she'd come to know. Ugh.

Sky dragged her trunk along behind her as she looked around for a carriage. An empty one, so that she could be alone with her thoughts before the craziness that was the long ride back to London. She finally found one towards the back of the line and plunked her trunk down in one of the seats before flinging herself down in the one opposite and settling in.

It was summer already? Awar pulled her trunk behind her. It seemed as though she had blinked and the year had passed. The summer to pass and then she'd be a fourth year. How exciting! It seemed as though it was yesterday that she was being sorted. Well, at least she had the summer to spend with Manolo. Poor boy was probably so lonely without her.

Coming via lake, Forrest had, quite naturally, expected to return via lake as well.

But Hogwarts had different surprises for him in mind, it seemed, because he was now standing in front of carriages with nothing to pull them. He was past the point to wonder how they were going to move, because obviously a horse would soon be brought here to pull them. Even though there wasn't enough time to harness them all and still make it to the train in the muggle way. Maybe there were spells to harness horses quickly. Yeah. That sounded better. Looking around for a familiar face, he spotted Minerva and dragged his about-to-burst-open bag to her carriage.

"Hello!" he greeted her happily. He didn't even notice she was sad, because his brain didn't acknowledge that anyone could be sad leaving that dirty place. Sure, he was kinda down for leaving Tobias, Ella, Minerva, Kace--generally Hufflepuffs--but he wasn't going to pay for turnstiles and stuff anymore! What a joy, yes? YES!

So, Minerva, be happy. WE'RE LEAVING NO MORE CLEANING BAD FOOD TURSTILES YAY!

He fumbled with the handle of his bag and tried--but failed--to lift it.

"How did you load your bag up there?"

"Stay with me and DON'T run away from me" spoke Sonea with a warning to her baby rat, Sir Blue, she didn't wanted to loose her rat here, knowing that she had NO time to search for her rat if she needed to, and she also knew that there were a LOT cats here, she hoped that they all were locked up but she wasn't sure about that. But, luckily her rat did what she wanted and stayed where he was, on her shoulder and not really interested in all the people around them. She tried to hide the sad look in her eyes when she walked toward the carriages, she really didn't wanted to go home, but at the same time she didn't wanted to show the other students that she didn't liked it to leave Hogwarts, she didn't wanted to look like a nerd! Noooooo, she wasn't a nerd so she lifted her chin arrogantly up when she stopped besides a few students and looked around her.

Meep Meep Meep! Ariana was NOT excited and it showed on her face. The almost seventh year was just seemingly going through the motions, the last few days with the feast and the packing and now this. Walking over to a carriage where she saw her best friend sitting and some weird ickle trying to get in. She simply went to the other side of the carriage where the ickle wasnt and climbed in effortlessly. Without even asking she sat next to min and just put her arms around her and wrapped her in the best Logan hug she could muster. Meep. Be ok best friend.

Minerva was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard a voice. Looking around at first she wasn't sure where it came from, but looking again she saw Forrest who looked as if he was struggling with something. Just as she realized it was his trunk she jumped feeling arms around her. NOT AGAIN... WHO... WAS.. HUGGING HER. She was about to scream and back away when she realized it was Ari.. Relaxing a bit she could handle Ari hugs.. She wasn't sure why, but Ari and Ethan hugs were okay. She was grateful for this little fact, because she could at least take comfort in knowing she wasn't all the way crazy. At least she could hug two people.

Pulling all the strength she could to speak "Hey Ari... I.. can't believe they're done.." Ariana knew who she was talking about, they were in the same situation. They had each other to lean on at least. Looking back towards Forrest Minerva tried to give the first year a smile. "Need some help?" She pulled her wand and levitated the trunk onto the carriage. "Forrest this is my best friend Ariana Logan.. Ari this is one of my little badger, Forrest." Forrest had certainly become one of her little badgers this term.

There was one thing Minerva didn't think about until that moment and her lip trembled as the thoughts ran through her mind. As tears again started down her face she looked at Forrest, "I.. gave you.. that.. ice cream.. Forrest.. I.. I'm so sorry.. I'm a horrible person.. I.. should have.. I didn't know.. I'm sorry...please.. forgive me.." She wrapped her arms around Ari, not that she wouldn't have hugged Forrest if she could, but she couldn't.. Hugs were just bad unless they were Ari or Ethan. So hugging her best friend to comfort her as much as she was comforting Min was all she could do at that moment. She just hoped Forrest wouldn't hate her..

Before lugging herself on a carriage, Beezus made sure there were no Ravenclaws left behind. Ethan wasn't here to help her with that, so she willingly took the responsibility. Only when she had everything secured did she find a carriage for herself. Everywhere else seemed full and there were only a few remaining now as the others have already geared up towards the Train Station at Hogsmeade so she decided to join the company that were nearest to where she was standing. Turns out, it consisted of Minerva, Ariana and a boy she didn't well know.

"Hey Mini? Yana? Can I join you in this carriage?" Her eyes took a swift glance at the creature that was facilitating the ride before she turned to the younger Hufflepuff with them. "Oh, and hello...do you mind if I sit next to you?" Hopefully she was welcome here. She was pretty worn out now.

Why was Minerva so... jumpy? What was wrong? Nothing could be wrong. Yeah okay her boyfriend was leaving--who needed lovers in the first place?--but she could see him in less than a year... no, she wasn't jumpy. She didn't have any reason to be. She was just... shaken with this dementors thing but ALL WAS PAST YAY VACATION HOLIDAYS YAY.

"Thanks!" he exclaimed as she lifted his trunk in the carriage, and smiled his best at Ariana, her bestie.

"Nice to meet you," he said politely and his chest poked out a little with pride when he was introduced as her and a badger. He was proud to be both, okay?

What was she crying what why no how. Ice-cream? WHAT was she talking about?! It didn't make sense! So what if it was charmed and whatnot. They had spent good time with it, no?

"You're the sweetest person ever, Minerva!" he exclaimed, at a loss for more words really. "We spent quality time together, no?" So no harm done. "Please don't cry!" His voice was half hysteric, because he panicked massively when people cried especially because of him.

Please.

Forrest saw her badge before he heard her request, so really there was no need to ask for his permission. Not that badge mattered much, but it made him timider than necessary.

"No I don't mind sure." He scooted away and tried to be one piece with the walls of the carriage to allow her as much space as possible.

Minerva looked up from her best friend hugs when she heard another voice. A familiar voice and she gave Bee a small smile. "Hey Bee, of course you can join us." She couldn't help but chuckle though.. These three sixth years.. well would they be considered seventh now? She didn't even have the energy to think those thoughts at the moment, but anyway.. These three girls were all in the same boyfriend situation.. "I think we found the right carriage back.. The boyfriends graduating club." Sorry Forrest... might be an awkward ride for you. It was nice to know that she had some friends that understood how she felt at that moment. "Dylan and you have dated for sometime now, right?" She thought maybe even longer than Ethan and her had been together. Still not understanding why she would date Dylan, Min wasn't going to judge. Maybe there was something about it that no one else saw. She just hoped that he was good to Beezus.


Looking between her and Forrest she couldn't help but give a small smile at the look on Forrest's face with the badge, "Forrest this is Beezus she is the other Claw Prefect." She knew Forrest had met Ethan at least once if she remembered Ethan saying correctly. "Bee this is Forrest he's a great addition to this school." She knew Forrest had his doubts about himself, but Min hoped that would change sometime. He was a good little wizard even if he didn't think so.


Blue eyes fully on Forrest when he said she was sweet. She didn't feel sweet. She felt horrible, "Thank you Forrest that is very kind to say, but I don't like the fact that I gave that to you. I know at the time I didn't know it was wrong, but still. I have always worked so hard at being someone that younger students could come to if they needed help and to be the one to put you in danger. That just is hard for me to deal with." He was her brothers age, Jake should have been here this term if he wouldn't have been in that plane, so to think someone could have given him that ice cream. She stopped the thoughts right there not wanting to go down that path. She had been down the dark path of thoughts for way to long now. It was time to push out of this sad mood.

"Now Forrest remember we will be hanging out this summer. You promised." She gave the first year a small smile before turning back to her best friend hug.

"hey." she said softly to her still hugging her."let's not talk about it right now, yeah?" cause honestly that was the last thing the slytherin wanted to do and she was already in a funk, had been for days really. so she didn't want to talk about it right now. instead she just patted her friends back and tried to be comforting although she was just as broken. It didn't help that the girl denied the end of this term for so long and kept saying it would all be fine,and she'd be fine up until the last moment cause that might of what done her i. and might be the reason she was losing it... slowly



"course." she said to the ravenclaw prefect as she hoped into the carriage. Ariana found it funny that people asked to sit on the carriages since it was a shirt ride, why would anyone care? but Beezus was cool and she could deal with it. "you doing alright?" you know just striking up conversation really. she blinked at beezus then to the boy next to her who seemed to glue himself to the wall at her arrival



Giggling at the little ickle slightly she said to him "she wont bite. you dont have to become the wall." little kids were funny in how they we're so afraid of the older kids. it was amusing, at least to ariana it was. "at least i hope she wont." she said shooting a smirk at the boy, really she couldn't help it. he walked into it.



"The boyfriends graduating club." that was surely attractive eh? ariana looked over at min adn gave her a look. really they needed to stop thinking this way or else it was really just going to be miserable there next and final term.

Final term..

All the while she was focused on Oakey departing she didn't realize she was coming up on her final yeah of schooling.. "it's gonna be our last term" she said kinda aimlessly at no one in particular really. Holy Knezele. LAST TERM..

could she panic??.. cause she was doing some inner panicking.

Seeing that the carriages where some of her other friends were in were full, Eliza spotted a young girl she'd seen around the castle during the year. She went over to her carriage and stepped in with a quiet nod. The girl was busy fussing with what must have been her pet rats, and maybe she didn't want to be bothered, but Eliza felt rude sitting down with a person and not saying boo to them, so she piped up. "Hi there," she began. Have we met? I don't think so....hmm, she thought as she watched the girl. Feeling it would be the safest route of conversation, she noted the rats. "What are their names?" she asked, gesturing towards the little furry friends with the girl. Interesting colors, she noticed.

Beezus did hop on the carriage and sat next to the only boy between their group. And she noticed how he literally scooted away from her, leaving a fairly big space in between them. She was about to tell him that it was okay for him to sit comfortably and not be scared of her when Ariana spoke up. Beezus nodded at the Slytherin and even smiled a bit. "Yes. I'm alright....I'm just not used to looking after all the Ravenclaws without Ethan spearheading the other half." They established a partnership like no other, you know. "Are you okay?" She asked back...

Pssh.

The boyfriends graduating club?

Beezus couldn't help but snort...followed a grin. That was a thing now? "I suppose we can call it that." Yeah...not only were they in the same carriage now, but their boyfriend's were all graduating, they were all in the end of their sixth years.....Guess they had more similarities now. Tres Marias, anyone? Forrest can be the club's muse.

She chuckled at the thought and had to rub her face first before answering more of the she-badger's inquiry. "I...uh....yeah." A hand went up to rub on her nape. She wasn't used to talking about her relationship with Dylan with people who didn't have downright the worst of things to say. "We've been...on and off for....almost three years now." Nod!blush. She knew some people were still against them being together but she hardly cared about that. They were happy together....and that's what mattered....not the opinion of others who didn't know the real deal.

Speaking of real deal, argh. Yeeees. It was going to be their last year at the school next term too. "Everything's.....going by so fast." She was getting a tad scared. Time was running out.......and quick.

Sigh.

But now was not the time to think about that, yeah? She was feeling better now, unpleasant mood has been lifted...and so she had to take advantage of that, preferably starting from....befriending the muse of their club. She muttered a thanks at the other girls before turning to Forrest. "I don't bite. I'm not Captain Fischer." Was her smile on? Okay...continuing. "Hi Forrest. As Mini said, my name's Beezus...well, nickname actually......but most people call me that. You can call me that too, or anything you'd like. It's a pleasure to meet you." She held out her hand at him.

She had just stepped in one of the carriages when somebody followed her. Who was it? She looked a little annoyed up, she already was tired from the worry and she had hoped that she would be alone during this ride, alone and not caring about anybody else. But... Now she needed to hide her real feelings again... So she looked up from her two rats and watched the older girl. She had never seen her before, not that she had really tried to make friends with the other students from the other houses... She knew a few other students but she wasn't really befriend with them.

"Eh... Hello" she sounded not too happy that the other girl was sitting besides her, she was really worried about going home and she was tired to try hiding her feelings. Sigh... But, maybe was this girl nice so she forced herself to smile at the older girl. She wanted to ask her who she was but before she could ask her question the other girl had already spoken. "Oh, the pink rat," -she pointed at the rat who was now sitting on her right shoulder,- "is Little Princess and the baby rat is Sir Blue." She smiled her first smile that day while she introduced her two rats. "Sir Blue is the baby from Little Princess, it was a accident"......... She thought back at how her cute little rat had became pregnant and her cheeks colored red.

"But... who are you?" She frowned and hoped that the girl wasn't a nerd or simply bad company for her because... well... she was already in a bad mood so she didn't liked it to be in this carriage with a boring older girl...

...Minerva was being silly now. Really. And Forrest knew why. So apparently, all these three ladies' men had graduated this year, and she was freaking out this was it. He sighed, shook his head patiently as if she was a misbehaving grandchild, and looked right into her eyes to deliver his point well.

"I'll still run to you when I mess up." Are we clear? Good? "And we will hang out when I come to DA. I'll owl you too." Better?

Better. Okay.

Wait, boyfriend-graduating club?! As in, official club? Was he interrupting their meeting or something? What if they had promised to meet here and weep but instead they were stuck with him and now too proud to show their true feelings and share their secrets and stuff? No matter what you say, ladies, this boy still tried to be one with the wall. He was certainly spoiling their meeting, wasn't he? He didn't even blush when he was introduced as 'a great addition' because he was busy reprimanding himself.

He had to apologise and let them perform some deafening charm on him. Surely they knew one? How long would this journey take?

He nodded shyly, but didn't comment any further. It was nice to meet her too, but he had been interrupting them already. Maybe, if he pretended to be a part of the carriage, they wouldn't see him. Hmm. It was worth a shot.

Without Ethan helping... Minerva's face fell hearing these words. Her eyes drifted out of the carriage trying to keep her composure. She hadn't done a very good job of it throughout the feast and it didn't look like she was going to now either as a tear slipped down her cheek. Wiping it away she tried to keep up with the conversation. "Yeah I bet it's different." She glanced at Ari with his words of not talking about it. It was just so hard not to think about. "Sorry" She looked down not sure what to talk about with the group. She wasn't the best company that was obvious.

She looked back to Bee with her question, "I'm trying to be alright... " That was the best answer she could give. The term had done it's number on her and she was just ready for the healing to start. Three years that was a long time. "Well the fact is you are together and if your happy that's all that matters." She didn't know what else to say by Bee's awkward tone with how long her and Dylan had been together. It was their relationship and their business.


Minerva couldn't help but smile at Forrest and reach out to squeeze his arm a bit. Not a hug, but it could work as sentimental right? "I hope you do. Forrest I hope you know you can come to me for anything. I try very hard to look after my little badgers and you are one of them. Even if it's this summer I'm only and Owl or a call away." She moved away from Ari for a second to get into her bag pulling out her parchment. Knowing Forrest was muggle these might be easier. "Here is the number and here are all the ways to contact through muggle technology." She handed over the parchment to him.

Noticing him seem uncomfortable she smile, "Forrest why don't you tell them a bit about yourself. " She wanted him to feel comfortable and not freaked out being in a carriage with older girls. "You know Forrest some boys would love to be in a carriage with three older girls." She smiled faintly trying to lighten the mood for him a bit.
