Gemma had said she taught his subject before teaching Muggle Studies. So as part of his preparation for his first lesson, Erik thought he might visit her and see what materials she had used for her classes. He wanted his to be relevant and rigorous for the students, not like the ones he had observed last year.

He rapped on her door smartly and then turned around to find a place to sit and wait. Problem was...all the sitting areas were dusty. Erik frowned and adjusted the knot of his blue silk tie.

He flicked his wand into his hand and got to work then, using a variety of non-verbal spells to do the dusting for his co-worker. You would think that a woman's office would be tidier than a man's...but perhaps the Muggle Studies professor hadn't found the time yet to make her place look more appealing. He tried hard not to sneeze at all the dust disappearing and wished that she would simply answer her door so he could get what he came for and leave.

Gemma stood up quickly from her desk and smoothed out her lime green suit as she walked. Before opening the door, she checked her reflection in the mirror adjacent to the door and with a little nod up and down of approval she opened the door timidly. She was always a little leery of unexpected visitors...she guessed in the back of her mind she envisioned someone jumping her or something...that thought brought a little smile to her face as she swung the door open slowly.

And she was instantly met with a cloud of dust...and then she was coughing...and using her hands to swat away the cloud of dust...o great now her lime green suit would be an ugly turtle green brown...she rolled her eyes as she tried to clear the air so she could make out who it was causing all of this mess in her waiting area.

She stepped into the dust and ran right into someone. As she caught herself, she realized that it was a man...a man her age....so not a student...she stood up quickly...and said through a little sneeze, "Leo are you coming to visit?" she asked with a little pep in her voice waiting for the smoke dust to clear a little bit more so she could make out the face of her gentleman visitor.

This place was far worse off than Erik had imagined. He wasn't anticipating great big clouds of dust to escape from her sofa, for one thing, when he started cleaning it so he could sit down. Erik had to hold an arm over his nose so he wouldn't breathe it all in, and even then he was still coughing. He was coughing so much he didn't even realise the door had opened until someone was bumping into him.

"No," he coughed, lowering his wand and peeking over his arm at what he hoped was Gemma. "It's Erik?" Is that okay still? Or should he continue cleaning then? Because he'd really prefer to have a cup of tea inside a cleaner location than this dusty sitting area.

Gemma kept flailing her arms in the air and then her cheeks became a dark red shade as she realized it was Erik and, unlike at the feast, he kind of sounded happy to see her...well kind of...She reached out her hand and placed it on his elbow leaving a little handprint in the spot, "O Erik! I wasn't expecting you..." she said with a smile, "O please come inside and out of this mess...I guess I didn't realize it was quite this bad out here..." she said followed by a little sneeze.

This waiting area, may have been just as nice as Professor Hadley's. Which was too surprising for Oakey. Weren't all Ravenclaws supposed to be Nutty Lunatics bent on ruining his life? Professor Cerulean did not fit the bill.
He took his one of the many notes that he had duplicated and slide it under the door to her office.

Jory had totally forgotten about coming to see Professor Cerulean. He blamed all the studying he was doing. He had fallen asleep on the floor in the common room with his Divination textbook on his face.

Feeling fully awake now, Jory knocked on the Professor's door.
