Brodie instantly headed for the back cars as Taylor had told him to do, he chose a compartment, waiting for her to get there. He smiled, excited and nervous for his first year at Hogwarts.
Taylor climbed onto the train and went to the back. She smiled as she saw Brodie, "Hey, handsome." Tay gave him a light kiss and a hug, "I cant believe that I get to see you all term." Delight shone in her eyes as she sat down next to him.

She wasn't sure where Laura had went, maybe she should look for her.. She put it in her memory to look in a second.
Finding an empty compartment, Minerva walked into it and sat down. Ethan had gone to do his prefect thing with his prefect people and she hadn't seen anyone else. Where was Jory, or Taylor, or even Ariana. Shrugging it off she knew she would find them later. She frowned a little even though she was super happy, but it was sad knowing Damon wouldn't be coming in to sit for this train ride and the fact that this was a preview of next term when Ethan wouldn't just be up at the front of the train.. Shaking that thought of her head she looked out the window a bit...
Taylor wandered the train for a little then spotted a familiar face, "Hey, Min... am I intruding?" She looked into the compartment with a half smile. She gestured to the seat across from Minerva, "Mind if I hang with you fora few before going back to Brodie?"

Plus, she was SURE that there were groups of "cool' friends who preferred to sit in the front. At least she thought so.
So she went all the way to the back and sat down. To her surprise there were many students in the back also. She sat down anyway, hoping that she didn't take a reserved seat.
Taylor was looking into some of the compartments, looking for people she knew or newbies that she can greet when she spotted one. "Hey... I am Taylor. I am a sixth year, how about you?" Tay gave the girl a warm smile and a laugh.
Garrick had a bit of a pouty face on as he meandered down the corridor peeking into the compartments in search of Miss Lotus. Her friend, LEX, the one he had met in Diagon Alley, had very RUDELY snatched her away from him. SIGHS. He had to find her. At least to tell her he would see her at the feast. Or something.
Finally spotting her his smile clicked into place and he slid the door open with one hand while he balanced Sophocles in the other arm. It was a task to balance the big kitty, but Sophocles was completely unbothered by it. Looking around the kitty meowed once and then closed his eyes back and lay his chin across Garrick's arm.
"Thought I would never find you. Mind if I join you?" Of course he looked only at Lotus... still a bit put out by Lex's behaviour. Yes. She was a rude little thing and he would not speak to her just yet. Apologies should be given. HMPH. But, because he was polite, he hovered just outside the doorway until he was invited in properly. IF he was. Otherwise he would go find Benjy.

No sooner than she had gotten the Sugar Quill settled so that it stuck out of the side of her mouth instead of the front, someone was asking to sit with her. The other girl didn't seem to be a firstie, in fact she was probably a fifth year by Sky's estimation, so she figured it would be okay. "Sure, go ahead. Candy?" she replied, holding the bag out. There was something she was forgetting...... oh yeah! "My name's Sky, by the way." Yep, can't sit with someone and not introduce yourself. That'd just be weird.
Just as weird as whichever Slytherin Beater that was that had flown down the corridor. What was his problem?

OH! A grin spread across the younger badger's face before he bounded over towards the seat opposite Minnie's. "Thanks!" he said, sitting down and leaning back a little. ... Oh! ETHAN! The awesome older Ravenclaw boy that was dating his older sister. Alec really approved of the two of them being together. "Oh right! Yeah... yeah, Ells is there as well," Which was... sad, actually. Just a bit. But he was happy for her so... "How is Ethan, by the way? And how are you?"
... Oh... Questions about his girlfriend. Alec should be able to answer these perfectly well, yeah? "She's great! I think... she's really excited to be going back?" It did seem like it with the way the girl had practically tackled him when she saw him. "I think she is but... you're right! She's going to make a brilliant Captain!" And if Minnie thought it was true then that was two against one, yeah? "Is Ethan nervous about Prefecting?"
Minerva smiled as Alec sat down, she was so glad he had come in to chat. She had missed him over the summer. ..And of course he knew the perfect topic to start with ETHAN...smiling very big, "Ethan is great. I got to spend pretty much all summer with him. It was a blast." Yes it was a great summer and as much as she was ready to get back to school she would have been happy to have spent more time with him too. "It's just kind of weird not having him here to sit with, I know he said he would come find me, but it's still just weird." she sighed a bit, "I guess I will have to get use to it, because he is a seventh year this year." deeper frown, she needed to stop thinking about that already.. They had all term before that needed to be thought about.
Minerva listened with a big smile as he talked about Ella, she loved seeing him so happy and in love, plus she felt that Ella was feeling the same exact way which was great for both of them. "What about you? Are you happy to be going back?" Had she even asked him about his summer, how rude that was if she did not, "How was your summer by the way, I'm sad we never got to go on that double date." but the summer was busier then expected like always. She thought a moment before answer his question, "I don't know really, if he is he hasn't said.. but I don't see why he would be, he is going to be fantastic at it." Yes she was sure of that, he was a great person for the job and she had no doubts.

And no, she wasn't, he noticed, as he turned into a compartment with a couple of startled first years.
"Elise." Ethan stared at the cat as he snapped his fingers and pointed to the corridor. She hurried to the door and padded along the corridor again. He gave a nod to the younger students before leaving and following after the cat. He looked at her curiously as she stopped in front of a closed door and pawed at it. Maybe this was Min's? He peeked in the window, noticing a familiar face, and pulled open the door. "Hey, beautiful.." he grinned at the sight of her and Elise trotted inside. "Miss me?" He took a seat and stretched his legs out in front of him.

Taylor and him had been dating awhile, but she never seem to ever get to meet him, wonder why that was.
She then smiled at her friend, "So how was summer?" She knew that she was in Spain for a bit, Damon told her that, but she hadn't really seen Taylor so she wasn't sure exactly what she did at all.

Somehow, Penelope's search brought her ALL the way to the back of the train without finding anyone she knew. Odd. That couldn't be possible. She must have somehow missed all their compartments...but stranger things had happened. And the train really was pretty crowded. And she was short and couldn't always see over other people's heads. Yeah, it was probably just the crowd.
And she wasn't a Hufflepuff. She was not a finder.
She definitely did not feel like wandering all over the train a second time, so Penelope opened the nearest empty compartment and took a seat in there. If anyone really wanted to sit with her, they would find her. Because she did not have enough candy to energize herself to walk the whole length of the train again. Nope. The trolley would have to come to her too because she wasn't getting more candy if she had to walk to it. She needed to start saving her money for other things anyway. And for Hogsmeade.
Spot hopped down from her shoulder to the seat then to the floor, then back up to the other seat to peer out the window. Penelope put her back to the window and stretched her legs out on the seat before pulling out a sugar quill from her bag. Time for a snack.

Not very nice was a rather civilized way of putting it so Lex would use Lottie's description. "Yup, not very nice. Attention's never splits too evenly if you ask me...or well it shouldn't be." But that was just her selfishness talking. She hated that she had to share her father with her sister. First the creature took her old bedroom, then she took over the rug in the living room! It was all too much!!! "I'm sure it can't be anything too bad, because I suggested he break his cousin's leg and he said he liked him too much." Go figure.
There was gasping? Why was there gasping--oh right. Chocolate frog. Er...was she meant to...not eat it? It was just candy...but Frank...She thought it over hesitantly for a moment and had to remind herself that this was NOT Frank and that frog looked different from all the others.
Now she could proceed.
"Oooo, you did??" And it was a success. "I think we'll just have to do that then! So are we settling on that being our drink??" Lottie had good taste and she was sure the girl had some vague idea of what she herself thought was delicious or not so she would trust her on this. This meant the drink was amazing.
Oh, nail on the head right there. "You're right about that too. I wouldn't have. When he was riding by I was in the middle of munching on a cookie--a CHOCOLATE CHIP cookie." The world was lost to her.
She perked up at her friend's suggestion. "Yeah? I mean, Alice has had him forever and the charm was fine...you sure?" She was willing to fill herself with false hope. Really, she was. "Ugh, I forgot about the incredibly long waiting time for the food. I'll need to distract her until then or something." SIGH.

That's the thing, though. Perhaps Lottie was rather lucky, but she never felt that the attention suffers any form of split between her and her brother, GRANTED, she spends most of the year at Hogwarts, so he got all the attention then, but even when she's at home, they're equal. She may get more attention from her aunt than her brother gets, but how could she know? WAIT, what? "You suggested what??" Well, yeah, good thing Benjamin said no.
YES, it's because of the chocolate frog and what it reminds us of.
"I did!" she said, totally beaming. Hmmmm, "Well, chocolate is like your thing...," she started to say, "...and I think raspberries are my favorite...," out of everything she could eat, "...though, if we're not successful this year, I suggest we move on onto a different combination of things," they could even ask Oakey stuff, since he knew how to make smoothies and whatnot.
THEN Lottie laughed. "So, yeah, you wouldn't have noticed. Merlin forbid someone takes the attention away from a cookie." Could someone actually do that Lex? Without falling? Hmmmmmmmm?
"For how long?" They could ask the Charms Professor about it, though. The people who made chocolate frogs were super skilled, so the charm would probably last a while. "There'll be lots of people, maybe someone else will distract her for you." TRUE.
Lottie was about to offer some aid in bringing the news to Alice, when the compartment door was opened. And the one opening it was not one she'd expect. Almost. She thought it'd been Aidan, and hoped to dear Merlin that it hadn't been Alice. "Garrick!" She blushed.
Her eyes were on him, since his eyes were on her. And...she stood up at once. Mags instantly jumped into her bag at the sight of yet another cat. She needed to get another pet, or a more frightening one. That tarantula was sounding pretty awesome right about now.
"I...," her eyes went to Lex, and Felix, they were the ones who get to decide, actually. Surely, her eyes said enough and she didn't have to tell Lex this. "I believe you know Lex." She gestured to her best friend, and focused on Garrick next. "Is it yours?" The cat, because she didn't know he had one.
Minerva had just come back to the compartment and put Fluffy up on the seat when she hear someone turning she smiled, oh good, she was afraid she wasn't going to see Taylor for some odd reason. Taylor smiled lightly, "Yeah, it would be..." She nodded, "Yeah, I miss my pillow a little but I got a replacement." Tay laughed and looked at Min, "Not hiding him... you can come meet him if ya like..." Taylor trailed off. "Summer was horrible... What about yours?" She sighed and looked away again, not wanting to talk about her own summer.

Oh dear...Lottie seemed slightly shocked. She should probably explain. "Well, he was complaining that his cousin got all the attention and all he got were rules and limits so I suggested he break his cousin in some way so he'd be out of the picture but then I thought it over because if you look at it right, his cousin would only get more attention." And as she'd found out that cousin was Garrick. Goooo figure.
Oh! Oh! Oh! Lottie logic. "That's true, so it makes sense that we'd both like it and if you think about it, we get along wonderfully so anything we like should too." GRINS. Except apparently...Mags and Felix but you know, Lex was willing to bet they could be friends...er...just not any time soon.
Yeah...
Hehe. "Right? Chocolate chip cookies should be had undisturbed. I still have a few somewhere in that bag if you want to try one. Muggle baking, it's not half bad."
How long? "I dunno but she had it since before I started going here which makes me look even worse." She leaned her back against the wall by the window and shut her eyes to block some of the light. This was shaping up to be a relaxing ride. No disruptions no one she wanted to see either but she'd get over it and no suddenly stopping and portkey prob--
She opened an eye lazily and looked to the door at the sound of that voice. The moment Lottie hopped up and blushing started happening her other eye rushed open too. She pulled herself into a straight sitting position to get a better look at the boy that wasn't even looking at her. Did she not exist? Was she suddenly not sitting there? Rude. Just very Ruuuuude.
And what's this? Did they mind if he joined? UM. YES! She DID mind actually but she supposed that didn't matter seeing as, from his perspective she probably wasn't even there. Silly her, thinking that statement might have had anything to do with her opinion. Oh merlin, no. The look Lottie gave her was seen and she wanted to shoot her a very determined NO but then the girl looked back at him? No waiting for a response either??? What had this all suddenly become????
She noted Felix, flicking his tail back at fourth as if there was a form of static running through it, but for now that was his only reaction to their guests. "I don't know Lottie. Is he okay with becoming a hexing experiment?" They did say they'd practice spells on anyone who wanted to join. Nevermind the conditions she'd placed on that rule.

Mmk.
Ascanius was done with all of this hopping around from compartment to compartment. Lots of the smaller people were screaming and yelling and being strange. And then, you know, there were guys walking around acting like ninnys and being mellow. Seriously, mate, grow a back bone. Psh. The ONE thing he had not been disappointed by yet was all of the pretty girls walking around. Like the girl over there. Wink. Of course, he hadn't seen the prettiest girl yet- his girlfriend.
So he was gonna wander until he found a calm place to relax and loug and be awesome. But as he was walking by a compartment he saw a set of LONG hair. Heh. He knew that hair. He peeked in and beamed. Nailed it. Penelope.
Not even knocking, he just opened the door and smirked up against the door frame, "So, I know that seat's not taken. Right?" Beam.
Minerva was fuming FUMING over the Maxwell thing when she heard the door open again she spun figuring it was him and glared ready to snap at him again, but then she stopped and a small smile crossed her lips. She laughed as the girl was very excited to find the food trolley, "Yes, did you get anything?" Grinning at her words, Ethan slid an arm around Minerva's waist and leaned closer to kiss her cheek. "Miss me no more.. I'm going to stay for a little while," he said leaning back again. He didn't have to be on duty the whole time, right? There were a bunch of them, no reason they couldn't take breaks once in a while. And this was where he wanted to be for now. He looked at her for a minute. "Doing alright?" She seemed to be a little off when he came in, though she seemed to be fine now.
He laughed a bit as Fluffy seemed just as eager to see Elise as the cat was to see the puff. Then his chuckles subsided and he gave the girl an odd look. This cat..? Stupid fluff ball..? "Umm.. what does that mean..?" He asked before looking back to the two pets play. Hmm.. maybe he was reading too much into it as Minerva's tone seemed to be joking even if he wasn't sure of her words.
He didn't have time to give it much more thought because his attention was soon diverted to the door as it seemed someone was trying to open it. "Oh, hey, Bay.." Ethan smiled at the young girl, happy that she had taken them up on their offer. He chuckled a bit at the girl's excitement. "Yeah, there is.." he nodded, also wondering if she had gotten anything. He hadn't yet, but had his own personal stash tucked away in his messenger bag. First friend at the trolley..? He glanced at Min for a second. Now that he thought about it, he wasn't sure he'd ever visited the trolley on the train. He always seemed to have brought his own stuff to eat.

Spot hopped down from her shoulder to the seat then to the floor, then back up to the other seat to peer out the window. Penelope put her back to the window and stretched her legs out on the seat before pulling out a sugar quill from her bag. Time for a snack.

The shriek had probably been heard all the way down the train…so, she had tried to play it cool and like no I didn’t just wail like a banshee with laryngitis…because well – the EORK sound didn’t give off a sound of a full throated banshee to her. At least, not what she would think they would sound like.
It was probably going to need some explaining first the disappearing – stupid luggage…and then the clothing change. Again stupid luggage compartment, but more than that – darn you evil bird poop. Yes. This all went back to that evil owl and its cage.
Someone hadn’t cleaned the owl’s cage…and she was going to find out whom it was. And when she found out – oh boy, she was going to have fun with them. Maybe…she wasn’t sure what she would do really. If they hated the color pink maybe she would paint the entire school pink – or just hex them so that everything came off with a pink hew. Even water, the sky would be purple…ooh, she would have fun with this.
She was looking for the group she had lost earlier and had had no such luck so far. Hearing vaguely familiar voices she turned and peaked her head into the nearby compartment. Oh look! It was Pretty boy Ascanius and Penelope!
She had successfully found them!
”Hey – sorry to have disappeared” she laughed as she stepped into the compartment. The new attire was strikingly obvious. As she glanced around into the room she figured honesty was probably best. ”I went to put my trunk away – and got my pygmy puffs…Kaiden gave them to me…” she smiled, and then made a little groaning sound. ”And well this is where its nasty some idiot forgot to clean out their owl’s cage and it pooped on me…so I used up the last of my jarred cleaning spell.” she laughed, her laugh was a little stressed sounding.
She didn’t leave out the all important and somewhere in that mess I lost my ticket…so if the ticket guy comes I might get thrown off of the train or forced to give him money to get to school… so far this train ride was starting swimmingly. Really. She wasn’t stuck under the train wasn’t derailing as they spoke, there wasn’t a trunk on top of her causing her to have to sit in the luggage compartment while people put their trunks away. This was good. She was able to laugh off the stupid bird issue.

And as she'd found out that cousin was Garrick.
So when Lotus got up his smile widened... He was so happy to have caught up to her and would have remained lost in her eyes had she not asked a question... and averted her attention.
Garrick followed her gaze and caught Lex giving a rather... rude look at Lotus' questioning whether he could join them. SIGHS. He was interrupting them. Or Lex was merely very RUDE. He was going for the latter.
No matter the case he looked rather downcast and nodded as Lotus asked whether the cat was his or not. "He is. But excuse me... I will leave you two alone."
And YES he had caught the part about hexing. His only indication was the abrupt chuckle, though. He was likely far more talented at hexing AND blocking than the younger girl who was too loud and RUDE. But he was raised to be a little gentleman, so nothing was said to the contrary.
Giving an apologetic nod to Lotus he stepped back from the compartment door and melted back into the crowd of screaming Hogwartians... he would find an empty compartment to occupy unless Benjamin found him.

ACTUALLY, that seemed rather fair. Since it was his mum, so she laid out the rules for him, because she had to. Whereas for his cousin...well, she was just his aunt, right? She didn't have to give him a bunch of rules or limits. It was the same with her aunt, which is probably why she liked her best. Except...no one got her the invisibility cloak.
So, really, Lottie didn't comment on the matter. She couldn't. She needed to meet this Benjamin fellow.
She did smile at her comment, especially the 'getting along wonderfully', they were so different, though. It was almost a miracle they could get along. Of course, neither was an idiot, so it made sense. And...they had a knack for adventure. Or something of the sort.
Her eyes landed on the bag, maybe she would try one if she found them.
"We should ask the Charms Professor, actually," someone who knew charms. Lottie preferred Transfiguration, though. Perhaps they could ask that Professor, too.
THEN, she didn't know what happened THEN. True, she'd been far more focused on Garrick than Lex, but that was entirely normal because he'd just arrived. Plus, it was really difficult not to look at him. And he was smiling, she liked to see him smile...except...
..."WHAT?!"
LEX!
Did she forget the rules? It wasn't a one way street. It couldn't be the people she liked only. Merlin. So, yes, her eyes went wide when her question said it all. That was a NO. It was very much unfair, though. And he wasn't smiling anymore, and...and...what? No, wait, Garrick...
...he stepped back, and Lottie actually took one step towards the corridor, but then just froze. What was she supposed to say? She wasn't leaving Lex, or not now at least, she supposed she'd be compartment-hopping later on the ride...but...not now. And what? She was supposed to apologize...and then what? Go with him? But what about Lex? The one who'd been rude in the first place? She's still her friend, you know? Even if there was something they probably needed to talk about.
Her eyes remained on the corridor, she moved eventually, only to close the door. Wouldn't want Felix running off after someone else's pet. One the door was closed, she took the same seat she'd taken before and pretended to be busy straightening her clothes. Quite frankly, she felt like crying, but she was trying to compose herself because that was just ridiculous.
Now that her trunk was where it should be, not endangering other peoples feet and safely put away in the luggage compartment, Aanya spent half her time walking up and down the Hogwarts express trying to find an empty compartment. Not to say that she was shy or an introvert or anything. Quite the contrary, but most the compartments she walked past were occupied by, well, older students. And she really just wanted to find other first years if she could.
But, she had no such luck.
So instead, she slipped into the first empty compartment she could find and got comfortable on the window seat and looked out the window.
...
As beautiful as the scenery was, Aanya was .... bored.
Laura was really worried now she couldn't find an empty compartment anywhere and she had lost Minerva which wasn't good, she would look for Ethan and Minerva later but for now she decided to give them sometime to themselves and sit on her own for a bit except there wasn't an empty compartment.
Laura suddenly saw another girl on her own in a compartment and so decided to see if they minded her sitting with them, she stood at the doorway and smiled. "Hi I'm Laura, do you mind if I sit with you, it's just everywhere else is full." Laura smiled at the girl.

There was something she was forgetting...... oh yeah! "My name's Sky, by the way." Yep, can't sit with someone and not introduce yourself. That'd just be weird.
Just as weird as whichever Slytherin Beater that was that had flown down the corridor. What was his problem?
Christmas sat down and smiled at Sky and said "Pleasure to meet you Sky, I am Christmas but call me Chris for short and sure i would love a candy"

Christmas?! Like the holiday?! Okay, wizards sure gave their kids weird names. Hopefully her mother and aunt wouldn't go that weird with their baby's names. "Nice to meet you too, Chris." Sky replied, still holding out the Sugarplum's bag. Well, she'd said she wanted candy, right? "What you looking forward to the most about being back at Hogwarts?" She figured a nice, neutral topic would be best here, since she didn't really know how deep the other girls house loyalty went. Some people took that stuff a little too seriously.

Christmas took a sugar quill and said to Sky "I think i am looking forward to getting out and playing qudditch again"
Minerva had just come back to the compartment and put Fluffy up on the seat when she hear someone turning she smiled, oh good, she was afraid she wasn't going to see Taylor for some odd reason. "Intruding? NO way. It would be so weird not sitting together on a train ride, it's already very weird without Damon." Oh she wasn't bringing her boyfriend with her, hmm that was interesting, "Are you hiding him from me or something? I need to meet Brodie yet." Taylor and him had been dating awhile, but she never seem to ever get to meet him, wonder why that was.
She then smiled at her friend, "So how was summer?" She knew that she was in Spain for a bit, Damon told her that, but she hadn't really seen Taylor so she wasn't sure exactly what she did at all.

She sighed and looked away again, not wanting to talk about her own summer.
Brodie followed after Taylor and gave a small smile as he hugged her, "Got you." He chuckled then looked at the other girl, "Oh, a friend, I'm guessing?" He slowly unwrapped his arms from around Taylor, "Brodie." He gave a smile as he gently took Taylor's hand.

"OF COURSE!" Aanya didn't MIND if anyone sat with her. She was bored as it is. Of course it would have been SO much nicer if the girl who came into the compartment had been from her year (she seemed to have a knack for finding OLDER girls on the train for some reason, except of course The Girl Who Almost Peed Her Pants), but she was so bored that even a SO MUCH older girl than herself seemed like good company.
"I'm Aanya!" She squeeked, stuffing her book into her bag. Because, obviously, she'll want to talk to the girl. "I'm a first year."
To Min she said, "Speak of the devil." Tay laughed and looked up at him, "That you do." Taylor kissed him and hugged him, "Yep, a friend and maybe a cousin?" She looked at Min, raising an eyebrow, wondering if she was officially a cousin now. "Brodie, this is Min... Min, this is Brodie." Tay smiled as he took her hand. "The most amazing boyfriend ever." She kissed his cheek and cuddled into him.
Brodie kissed and hugged her back then smiled at Min, "It's a pleasure, I'm sure." He gave a smile and then looked down at Taylor, "So what's this new assignment you have for me, Ms. McIntyre?" She'd said something about him being Damon's replacement.
Brodie kissed and hugged her back then smiled at Min, "It's a pleasure, I'm sure." He gave a smile and then looked down at Taylor, "So what's this new assignment you have for me, Ms. McIntyre?" She'd said something about him being Damon's replacement.
She smiled up at him, "Would you mind being a pillow?" Tay laughed and reached up, messing with his hair, "I usually fall asleepon the train and I usually end up using Damon as a pillow and his cloak as a blanket." Taylor laughed and kissed his nose, "That is if ya dont mind a Raven falling asleep on your shoulder." A smile played at her lips.
Brodie chuckled and gave a shrug "I don't know... That Raven is messing with my hair, and if she falls asleep I'll have no one to talk to." He smiled at her and kissed her forehead, "You don't mind if we join you, do you Min?"
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Going further down the Corridor and into the Back Cars, Oakey was pleased not many crazy things were happening. So long as the train didn't stop on them anymore like it did a few years ago.
There was a lot of talking in the corridor and Oakey couldn't really make out what was all being said, a loud 'What' did catch his ear from a nearby compartment so he popped his head in. Of course it was Lex and Lottie. "Hey you two, is everything alright?" he pushed himself further into their compartment and eyed them both, keeping his eyes a little longer on Alexa whom he was sure would cause trouble at any second.
Forget Gobstones. Jory was interested upon hearing what Gwen said. "Really?'' He had never really pictured Gwen playing Quidditch. "Then you should try out, then,'' he said. Why not? He had never seen her fly maybe except a few terms ago but she must have gotten even better. "So, which position would you try out for?'' If he tried out, it would definitely be a Chaser. Or beater. No keeper or Seeker, though. Too much pressure on those two.
That was all? "Sure,'' the badger said enthusiastically. "And any other subject you need help with.'' If he was any good at the ones Gwen wanted help on. Definitely not Arithmancy though..
And at that moment, the Train pulled up. Time for that last ride to Hogwarts. He followed Gwen to the luggage compartment to stow his luggage and the cages. Done with that, Jory headed back out to the corridor looking for Gwen. He finally spotted her standing in front of as compartment with Jinx the Cat in her arms along with her sketch book.
"This one, then?'' he asked indicating to the empty compartment.
‘Yeah’, she said, hearing that Jory was kind of surprised that she thought about trying out for the Quidditch team. Well… she had been thinking about this for a long time, and she always backed out in the last minute.
Tsk Tsk.
Maybe things will change this year? Anyway- Seeker, probably’, Gwendolyn mused. She wasn’t entirely sure why. And if not, then Chaser. But not beater. She wouldn’t be good at that. Or so she thought. Anyway- maybe she had inherited her dad’s talent at Quidditch? Or maybe not.
Mehh.
‘Thanks Jory’ SMIRK. Alright, she wasn’t doing that bad in Muggle Studies anymore, but that didn’t mean she was some genius either. So yes, she still needed help. Hmm. Anyway- maybe it was a good idea to study together, like they had done for the OWLs. ‘How is Arithmancy going?’ It actually was one of her favourite subjects, together with Potions.
Alright well… this wasn’t what she had meant to ask Jory, but ehh. She would try to figure out things on her own. Ughhh. She needed her best friend right now. Her thought were interrupted as they stopped in front of a compartment. This one? Yeah, why not? Gwen made her way in and crashed on one of the empty seats by the window.
Going back to Hogwarts!
GRIN.

After leaving her things in the luggage compartment, Gwen headed to the back of the train to try and find a compartment. For once she didn’t even bring her sketchbook. For some reason, she was certain she wouldn’t be able to focus on a drawing. Ehhh. She really had to find her friends.
Stepping in one of the compartments, she noticed someone already sitting there. ‘Hi Min’, the seventh year greeted, impressed of herself that she managed to remember the correct name. As much of a Ravenclaw she was, being able to memorize lots of things, she was really bad at remembering people’s names. Ehh. ‘Do you mind if I sit here?’, she then asked.

Enough is enough.
The cat had already disappeared once while she was waiting in the train station… and now Jinx was nowhere to be seen again. Ughh. Gwendolyn began searching around the train corridor, and thought she had spotted the cat going in one of the compartments which didn’t have the door shut.
‘Hey- sorry…’, she started saying as she arrived closer to the compartment door, trying to draw the girl’s attention. ‘Have you seen a cat around?’ Yes? No?
