Mission Statement One

It's always best to start a new term by revising what you've already been taught and ensuring you haven't forgotten anything. So if you haven't guessed already, it's time to hone your skills with a little wand work. Remember practice makes perfect and perfection takes time. Your first task of the term, is to learn or practice three of the following spells:

The Trimming Charm - Flipnsnipwitit
The Severing Charm - Diffindo
Aguamenti Charm - Aguamenti
Chaudensis Charm - Chaudensis
Freezing Charm - Glacius
Numbing Charm - Viro Torpeo
Ferula Charm - Ferula
Bolting Charm - Pario Claustrum
Shrinking Charm - Reducio
Engorgement Charm - Engorgio

You may practice these anywhere in the castle or the grounds. For those that are learning new spells seek advice from a text book or an experienced peer.

Mission One is due for completion no later than: Friday 1st February at 11am GMT

Mission One is worth 6 points, and an additional 4 points Extra Credit for exceptional work.

Requirements:

[x] You are not required to do this in a single day.
[x] You are not required to practice on plants.

OOC Requirements:
[x] You do not HAVE to participate, that is entirely your own choice.
[x] You do not need to complete the entire activity, if you only practice/learn one spell it still counts for something.
[x] Minimum of two posts per Charm to be eligible for full marks.

[x] You CAN do this in pairs/small groups BUT you ALL need to PM me your own links.
[x] When submitting your mission posts, you must title it "HTF Mission Two", no name/user ID/House required.

Mission Statement Two
---------------------------
Sometimes we focus too much on the obvious, and less on those that require our attention.

For this mission, and at Professor Flamsteed's request, your task is to maintain the garden on the Tower Patch.

The more hands there are involved, the less work we'll each have to do.

The following list are things to consider, but you are in no ways restricted to these activities. Just remember that the focus of this club is to learn and to demonstrate the ability to care.

Trimming
Mowing
Turning soil
Fertilising
Watering
Planting

You may work individually, in pairs or in groups.

Mission Two is due for completion no later than: Tuesday 2nd April at 11.59pm GMT (midnight)
