This time, Melanie swept the scarlet ball out of the air the fastest, singing as she flew down the Pitch, giggling and waving at Alice as she did. Edwards cut her off again, and pulled the Quaffle out of her hands as she had done to Jake before. The fourth year was starting to see a pattern with that one— intercept and grab. It was kind of amusing. Sarah chucked the Quaffle to Lex, who attempted to score again, but was surprised when Penelope kicked the thing right out of her hands and into the goal.

As soon as the Quaffle fell from the goal post, a swarm of players had already gathered around it. Alice hadn't even needed to toss it into play. This time, the youngest, Ellura, emerged victorious, along with Christmas. The others backed away to let them squabble over it, and soon enough, Christmas was heading down the Pitch with the scarlet ball in hand. Lex, taking a page out of Penelope's book, kicked the ball right out of her hands and into Jake's open arms. Unfortunately, Jake, who was SULKING and not paying attention like he SHOULD HAVE BEEN, was hit in the head with it. The Prefect kind of flopped off of his broom, hanging onto the handle for dear life. Penelope caught the descending Quaffle and chucked it at Sarah, who shoved it through the hoop.

"Good teamwork, you lot. And nice kick, Lex, I think Jake needed that."

Lex caught the Quaffle from where Sarah had shot it through the hoop and tossed it back at Jake again. The fifth year had managed to climb back on his broom and was ready this time, thankfully. Alice beamed at him when he caught it and started flying down the Pitch. Penelope intercepted him again, but there was no need. Apparently, Jake was feeling a little lazy and just HANDED her the Quaffle.

"Ahem. KELLER. What are you doing?!"

Either way, Penelope had the Quaffle now and tossed it to Melanie, who was too busy singing to herself about a team monkey to catch it. Ellura caught it and chucked it at Christmas, who then attempted to score. She was cut off by Edwards, AGAIN, and the little second year scored once more. "Good job, Sarah," she complimented, impressed.

Everyone was doing a good job, really.
