 Do you have a knack for flying? Would you like to be on a team with some of the most talented students in school? Do you enjoy having fun? Are you a member of Gryffindor house? If any of these apply to you, perhaps you should contemplate joining the Gryffindor Quidditch Team! If playing Quidditch or making life-long memories and friendships is your dream, sign the clipboard that is going around! This is an open tryout. For those who do not care to try out, you may support your fellow classmates in the viewing area as soon as tryouts begin!
Remember: past members do not yet have a spot on the team; all positions are currently open. A combination of flexibility, participation, talent, good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude are needed for all positions on the team.
After you sign the clipboard, you will need to wait until Alice Fischer (lemon), your Gryffindor Captain, explains when tryouts will be held. Quote:

Alice was tired.
When she'd accepted the Captain's badge that was owled to her home, she didn't know how tough the job was. She was blissfully unaware of the fact that being a badge holder meant that she had responsibilities. And even if she did, they had to be simple, because they were Quidditch related, right? Wrong. And she hadn't any idea how much work it was, since Selina made it look so darn easy. It would be so nice to be just like her Mama Selina one day, yep.
But for now, she was an exhausted, sleepy Alice. The fourth year's fingers were crossed, hoping that her lovely lions would make this last tryout of the year an easy and smooth one. Of course, knowing her Gryffindors, she assumed that wasn't possible. So when she arrived at the Pitch and saw a bunch of eager little faces staring up at her and some staring down at her, as well she was very clear about the directions. "Alright, you lot. Play fair, be reasonable, feel free to use violence, and biting IS allowed." Biting was always allowed, but no one ever seemed to care.
With a sigh, Alice blew on her whistle and tossed the Quaffle into the air.

Of course, who would grab the Quaffle out of the air first but Lex? Alice hadn't realized how fast the little lioness had become. The only thing that could have made that display of her skills better was if Lex had caught the thing in her teeth or something. Grinning proudly, she watched as the second year spiraled across the field and toward the hoops. At the last second, though, Penelope managed to kick the scarlet ball out of her hands and toward the hoop. Selina caught it and turned to score, only to find her way blocked by the flailing Daphne.
What.. what was going on with her and her broom? Daphne seemed to be clutching onto it for dear life, turning this way and that. "The broom responds to the slightest of movements," she called out. "That will just make it" Too late. The girl's broom jerked forwards, launching the fourth year off of her own broom and onto Selina's. In a panic, the Head Girl dropped the ball, which landed in Melanie's hands. The fifth year then proceeded to score a goal while practically screaming her special song.
Well. Whatever worked?
