After the mess Daphne's broom had caused was all sorted out and the girl was as far away from Selina as possible, the scarlet ball reentered the air. This time, the first year, Christmas, was the one to get her hands on it. She and Ellura— they really worked well together, didn't they?— tossed the Quaffle back and forth with ease, until Penelope got in their way and kicked it out of their hands again. Not that Alice wasn't happy, mind you, but if she could kick, why couldn't she BITE?

Hmph.

The fourth year watched in amusement as Oichi caught the ball in her hands and soared down the Pitch. Dylan then came up beside her and yanked the thing out from under her arms, tossing it to Lex. The second year spiked the Quaffle in celebration instead of scoring. Why? Alice didn't know. She shot her ickle LOOKS after Melanie caught it mid-spike and tossed it through a hoop again. Lex did know that she was supposed to score, right? Not wait for someone else to do it?

Yeah, they needed to go over the rules again, didn't they?

Penelope caught the Quaffle first, this time. Dylan, Oichi, and Ellura all seemed to have noticed that she was the one who had her hands on it the most, so they decided to be an evil little group of youngsters and gang up on her to get it. Alice found the whole idea very creative, actually. A smile played on her lips as the three kids linked arms and flew around her, blocking most means of escape. In a panic, Penelope shot straight down and managed to crash into Melanie. She ended up dropping the Quaffle into Lex's hands again.

AND. The ickle seemed to have noticed Alice's eyeing and had gotten the fact that she wasn't supposed to spike the Quaffle. She soared toward the hoops, only to be blocked by the flailing Daphne again. She tossed the ball at Daphne, hoping to scare her away, but the lioness somehow caught it. Still flailing, the broom jerked her forward once more.. straight into the hoops.

Daphne was left dangling off the highest one, clutching onto it for dear life. But she had at least gotten the thing through the hoop, right?

BAD. That was the only word to describe the situation. Alice hurtled toward the ground, turning upward just before crashing into the ground, after pulling Daphne's broom out of the grass. The fourth year flew back up to her friend and got her settled back on the equipment before tossing the Quaffle back into play. Selina was the first to catch it this time. Once she caught sight of the flailing broom jumper nearing her, though, she tossed it at Penelope in a panic.

The third year, who had learned her lesson by now, flew deliberately away from Dylan, Ellura, and Oichi, the ones who had cornered her before. Instead, she tossed it to Christmas, who then proceeded to score. Just before it went through a hoop, though, Melanie made use of her Keeper skills and caught it before she scored, turning around, and then chucking it through herself.
