Elliot just ignored that...HER watch was the RIGHT one..but she knew Beezus was just as hard-headed as she was...so...

IT DIDN'T BLOODY MATTER.

She watched Beezus' reaction VERY closely...heh. She enjoyed the original...horrified look..and burst into evil, maniacal...LAUGHTER. She clutched the back of the chair, still laughing..and then when Bee saw the REAL apron she had gotten her..she felt quite pleased with herself. YES. Beezus had LOVED her gift...heh. "I know..bees...Bee...I thought Dylan might think it was cute, too..." she trailed off, her own thoughts taking over for just a moment...

Oh, right.

The baking.

That's why they had come..not to dance around in aprons. Though, granted, Elliot thought that's what aprons were REALLY made for..just to look nice in the kitchen..and to dance around in while waiting for food to be ready. She nodded. "I AM ready..but I hope you have the recipe, Beezus.."because Elliot came drastically unprepared...unless you counted the aprons as some sort of preparation...

Ehhh.

She fingered the lace right above her waist, bouncing on the balls of her feet, waiting..she began to hum to herself.."They won't-they won't care, riiight?!" she asked, gesturing to the elves...because...well, she didn't want to hinder the food-making process in ANY way..because...well..people had to eat! She would not go down in history as the girl who burnt down Hogwarts' kitchen and all of the students starved to death because of it...

NO!

her family's history was colorful ENOUGH, thank you very much!

Right. Time synching would come LATER.

And of course, that hysterical laughter was to be expected of Elliot Morganzo. Why, her friend loved to torture her with all the lace and her, detesting that kind of cloth as much as she hated chocolate, well..distressing, panicked experessions were surely something on the what's-to-happen list. She didn't tell her off about it though. Her irritation was essentially eclipsed with the adorable looking apron she had on at the moment. And Dylan, yes? "Oh, I don't know if he finds it appealing that Im wearing it. I'll show him later." Because her boyfriend's comment mattered quite a lot. She used to not flip a hair about it, but things changed.

And no worries Ell! "Of course I have the recipe.." She said as her hand slipped inside her skirt's pocket where she pulled out folded piece of parchment. "I copied it from a book at the library." She wasn't too prepared you know. Yep.

"The house elves?" Beezus' head snapped to the creatures when Elliot asked if they'd mind. "I think not." She shrugged but neared the working elves just for good manners. "Uhmm, hello! We'll try and bake a cake in this side of the Kitchen," she pointed out the space on one corner where a table and an oven was placed. "But we promise not to cause any trouble," WE WILL TRY. "So...just don't mind us, okay?" And we a smile and slight bow, she averted her attention back to Elliot.

"Take off hand jewelries and such," she too, unlatched the watch from her wrist and thrust it inside her pocket before smoothing out the recipe parchment on their table. "Okay.. We need the utensils and ingredients. Which one would you handle?"

Elliot took her hands off the chair and crossed them over her chest...whaaat?! "You don't think he'll like you wearing it? Why?" she asked curiously...why wouldn't he?! It was so adorable! Elliot liked her lace one better..but still!

She saw the paper and she snatched it from Beezus' hands, instantly, and her eyes scanned over the ingredients..."They have all this, right?" she asked, glancing around at the elves and all the...places where food was kept. Ehhh. Wouldn't that blow...if they didn't have all the ingredients...

She eyed Bee...as she went and talked to the house elves...so nicely. Like they were kids. She rolled her eyes and tried to flatten out the recipe on the table with her hands, get the creases less noticeable. She hated folded parchment. MEhhh. It was majorly bothering her. Stupid Beezus. She managed to get it to lie still without curling up at all..gooood. She eyed the directions, too..she didn't even know what HALF those words MEANT...whipping things..and..stuffs...and eggs?! Elliot wasn't touching slimy eggs. NO WAY JOSE. Beezus could do that. Elliot could...observe. Supervise. Or something...

She handed the recipe back to Bee...watching as she, too, tried to smooth it out..yeah, GREAT JOB, CASTELL..crinkly parchment...She undid her watch...stuck it into her pocket...and she brushed her fingertips across the pearls around her neck..that she wore EVERY day..the pair from her Grandmother. "Should I take these off?" Maybe it was better to be SAFE than sorry..."Who knows how insufficient we'll be..." she snorted, chuckling and rolling her eyes all at once. She undid the clasp and curled them up in her pocket. Right.

READY.

"I can do..whatever you want me to do...you're the boss today, Castell." She said, standing at attention and winking. "BUt ONLY for today, mkay?"

Tazzie 11-25-2012 04:23 AM

SHRUUUG. "I don't know. I've got a feeling he doesn't like it when I'm cute." She pouted. What else would his usual words, 'Stop being cute' mean? And yes. She was cute right now, she'd decided. Self-appraisal. Heh. Once in a while. Although, she'd give most of the credit to the apron. It looked very adorable.

"I'm sure they have." Beezus nodded. Positivity! Most certainly, the house elves would be able to provide the ingredients they need. It was the two of them who was in dire need of optimism...and luck. She watched as Elliot unhooked the pearls from around her neck. She retched before tying her hair up in a dainty ponytail. First, lace. Now, pearls. Merlin. She won't be able to survive leaving an Elliot for even a single day!

"Insufficient? You make it sound like we are so horrible at this." Meh. Shouldn't they be looking at the good side? Then again, it wouldn't hurt that both of them are aware that they might cause chaos here.

She was the boss?

Ohohoho. Power over the Empress, is it? If they were in a different setting, Beezus WOULD abuse it - that's how friends show their love, right? Abuse each other. Hehe. But as they had a mission...."That's flattering Morganzo." GRIN. "All right. I'll go browse for the ingredients and you, the utensils." You know, like knife, spatula, whisk, baking pan, bowls, cups, tablespoons, etc. "I'll bring the list with me," because ingredients. Duuuh.

Okay?! Okay. Away!

Flour, where art thou?

Elliot raised her carefully manicured, blonde eyebrows at Beezus. Eh? WHAT? She was crazy. Mentally...not there. "Of course he does. You're stupid sometimes, Bee," she rolled her eyes..."What boyfriend doesn't like when his girlfriend is cute, hmm? if he doesn't I'm having a serious talk with that boy..." she snorted. LIke someone like DYLAN would ever listen to her...just like she WOULD NEVER listen to Dylan. Too hard headed...

And then..she eyed Beezus...she didn't like pearls, either? What was wrong with her? "Every true lady needs at least one pair.." she commented, noting, mentally, that she had over a hundred. At least. A lot from her mother, a lot inherited, and quite a bit from Max. But her favorite would always be the ones her grandmother Hera gave her. "Why don't you like anything CLASSY?!" she asked, wiggling her eyebrows at her...meehh. Beezus was weeeeeird.

Heh.

"We might be, you never know. I would rather expect the worst, hope for the best, that way if we bake an AMAZING cake..it's a pleasant little surprise..." she nodded at her logic. Some said pessimistic...Elliot just realistic...reality. Things RARELY turned out as nice and pleasant as you wanted. Baking would be the same, no? Hehe...

She knew Bee would like that. She grinned. "Of courrssseee..." Beezus. In charge. Merlin. But Elliot could give up power when she honestly didn't have a clue about anything...UTENSILS. Okay. She wasn't..familiar with...baking utensils...but..she could try. "Riiight.." she could pretend to know what utensils..definitely..a bowl..right? And..a spoon? a big one? Oh, and those little linked spoons(teaspoons/tablespoons)...she started rummaging around in the drawers...right...She found a decent sized bowl, pulled it out. "BOWL FOUND." Okay..check...

Check.

Now..other..things..she cleared her throat.."Bee..what..utensils?" she asked finally, looking quite lost. In the kitchen. Meh.
