Pips struggled under the weight of the plant. It was still a bit to heavy for him, but they needed to get a move on it. He slowly led the other elvsies past the Ravenclaw table and to the one dressed in pretty green. "Elvsies is going to Headmistress with Red Hair," he told no one in particular. He just thought the studentsies might want to know. "Don't mind elvsies. We is just passing by."

Just then, a big pink petal floated down onto the top of Pips' head. NO. The scary petal had taken refuge on his head! "NO! Pips does not want petal on his head! Pips tells petal to go away, he does!" He let go of the pot, leaving the struggle to the other elvsies, and unceremoniously brushed the petal off his head and into someone's face. Oops.

"Pips is very sorry, he is," he said again, to no one in particular. "Elvsies is ironing their ears for punishment. Pips will punish himself most badly, he will."

"Beezley can't see her own feet," Beezley pointed out. "Leafsies everywhere. All around Beezley." She felt the plant shift, though, and followed the leader as they moved somewhere else. Professors? More studentsies? Beezley couldn't tell.

"Beezley wants to see where she's going," she said, "but Beezley is happy to help Mistress Truebridge. So, so happy."

"Talking is fine. No one ever said that talking was not time. Would you like me to ban talking?" Because he very well could. It was YELLING during an speech that was rude and uncalled for. And for Ariana to say it was her fault when technically she did not do any yelling, nor was the reason for said yelling, made her a LIAR.


Scabior's head turned sharply. The Gryffindor dared to laugh at this moment? "Five points from Gryffindor." It was beyond uncalled for.

"But I don't want. Not from you." So pipe down Odessa.

In Diagon Alley?! Well then! Someone should have informed him of that from the beginning. Bringing up useless old facts. Withdrawing his hand Scabior simply stared at the boy show looked deeply bothered. "So let me get this straight, Mister Kinsley and...". He pointed at the first year not knowing her name. "She drank the love potion you informed her to drink. Kissed you. You hated that. So you got mad, perhaps pushed her away." He turned to the young girl now. "And you Miss believe that he was in the wrong for pushing you away currently and being mad?"

Yes? This all sounded about right.

"Do you know what I believe?" He raised a brow. "That NONE of this is even a REMOTE excuse to yelling during the Headmistresses speech. If someone is mean to you, simply walk away." Was that concept HARD to grasp? He believed that it was only common sense! "And since one of you three-" He pointed to West, Theo, Serenity and Lexi. "Does not know how to respectively use your voice in a situation like this, I think all of you should have the privilege taken away."

Drawing his wand, Scabior casted a silencing charm on the two second years and two first years. Summoning a few sheets of paper and four pencils he placed them in front of the students. "For the rest of the feast you will all 'speak' with these, and the charm will only be removed at the end of the feast by me. That means at the end you walk on up to the staff table and I will remove the charms." Such a thorough explanation since these children obviously needed it.

He turned to Arianna. "YOU are now responsible for making sure that they do not have the charms removed. Any charms removed by anyone except for me will result in Slytherin-OR Gryffindor, losing 50 points per person." Got that? Good.

Scabior didn't stay to hear-or SEE anything else that the kids had to show.

West listened to all this with an Odessa!face.

It was interesting. He thought. So he couldn't talk? He opened his mouth to try and then smiled in delight when he realised he couldn't! He took the pencil and paper and wrote on the very top.

Cool.

Maybe they could make someone take the Gryffindor's charm off. Then she'd lose 50 more points to go with the five. West smiled at her with perfect innocence.

Such an angel, he was. Scabior got a thumbs up.

Ariana was listening to mr professor weirdo pants when a giant pink petal from a flower went into her face she shooed it away quickly as it startled her then she noticed the house elves "what is going on?" she muttered hoping mr scary pants over there didnt hear her..



MY RESPONSIBILITY!? Ariana was the WORST with responsibility "yes, sir." she said simply just wanting him to go away. though the youngsters not talking was pretty cool

Her eyes drifted to Serenity for a moment before falling to the ground. Really she didn't know how she had gotten herself into this and this would teach her to go barging into conversations...sadly it wouldn't be a lesson she learnt for long but for now she was sure to leave well enough alone that didn't concern her...for a while though...

Her heart sank when the Professor took 5 points from her house. Great Lex, not even a day into being a lion and you're already causing trouble. Kurumi wasn't going to be happy about this...and neither was scary bat-girl--gulp...she had forgotten about her and now they shared the same common room...she might never giggle again...

Her eyes shot up to the Professor again when he said he would take away their privilege...or something like that. Before she could even question it he waved his wand and the next thing she knew he was dropping pencils and paper saying it was the only way for them to communicate. It got even worse when he said that they would lose points for removing the charm. Yup. It would stay put because she wasn't ready to get 50 points taken off.

When he was gone she looked over at what West had scribbled on the paper. Her mouth flew open immediately and when no sound came out she got really annoyed. This was going to be a long night... -_____-

Sierra continued to sit there, still sort of edgy about what had happened on the train and platform, and just stared ahead as she tried to cool down a little. Then she got that feeling. That one feeling you get when you just know somebody is looking at you.

Uncrossing her arms, she took a casual glance up and down the table. Her eyes finally landed on the culprit, and he was smirking. Smirking at...HER?! She gave him one of her best glares. Just what did he want, hmm? Then he had the nerve to nod, which just confused Sierra that much more. She waved back, unsure of what to do next. Was he trying to make a friend or something?



OOC: I'm not going to get too involved in this right now, since I'm pages behind in getting involved now. Just wanted to comment on it, at least, for the time being.

She didn't have too much time to think on that one, though. From somewhere behind her, on down the table, she heard yelling, and she'd just narrowed her eyes and zoned in on West Odessa when she caught sight of Scabior.

Ohhh, Scabior! he looked pretty mad, but at the same time, Sierra couldn't help doing an inner fangirl squeal. Mad or not, he was hot nonetheless.

She'd started to stand earlier and go and see what the commotion was all about when he asked if anyone wanted to enlighten him as to why people were yelling while the Headmistress was speaking.

Wait...the Headmistress was speaking?

Oh. So she was. Sierra divided her attention between the Slytherins and the Headmistress. Hmm...interesting how Odessa was weaseling himself out of this. She gave him a mental pat on the back. Good job there, kid. It seemed like things were settled, or at least for the time being, so she suddenly turned when a leaf brushed across her cheek.



Ewww...house elves. Couldn't they have done this before the students arrived? Seemed like the Slytherins weren't the only ones causing a distraction in the middle of the speech.

"Toddles is still under here Mr. Pips and Miss Beezley, he sure is! Toddles is being a good elf!" The baby elf continued to march underneath the large PINK plant, absolutely NOTHING was going to distract him...

OOOOH! Bad kiddies and a man with a scratchy beard thing on his face; Toddles had always wanted one of those. Siiigh. "Look, LOOOK! Those kiddies are getting yelled at just like Toddles was, yes'um!" It wasn't everyday he saw that, this trip was getting more and more fun.

Faye smiled at her, she was giving her smiles away rather freely now that she got to know her a littl bit better. "The teachers probably watch you like a hawk." Faye said thinking that if she was such a trouble maker, maybe they shouldn't be friends.

But then Faye remembered the train incident yet again and thought she would be foolish to not be friends with this girl. "Well, I was lucky to meet you on the train!" Faye told her with yet another smile.

For what?, West wrote and showed the paper to Ariana. He would have added something about Scabior not taking points from him for worse things but he wasn't about to write that down where someone could see and use it as evidence or something. But portrait-thumping and fort-building definitely proved it was true.

And now he was going to draw a picture. The elves weren't important. Not that he didn't like them, but obviously this kid had priorities.

*Cardigan had been watching what was going on between Ariana, professor Scabior, and some other kids. That was pretty..intense... So one of them had asked the other one to try this love potion. She did and kissed that one kid which got him all angry and stuff, that got the kisser all mad too somehow. Then they took it all out in the great hall and were "fighting" about it and being loud during the speech, which got the attention of professor Scabior. It eventually got them silenced, except for Ariana who had the job of making sure the spells weren't removed, and a 50 point loss over their heads. Got it.

*She was getting kind of alone over where she was sitting. Cardigan decided to go over to Ariana and the other kids, and make sure her friends ribs were okay. She had hurt them during the portkey fiasco. She quietly scooted over to where they were all sitting, not bringing any attention to herself. She sat dorm next to Ariana and asked, "Hi Ariana. Are you feeling alright?" She reached a hand up to the bandage on her jaw, making sure it was still intact. If she talked too much, it would probably fall of. Not fun.

"oh no, there's worse students then just me." she said quietly. "like them." she said pointing to west & theo "great quidditch players the two of them, but just bad always causing trouble, though they never get caught."

" saving your butt from losing points first day of term." she whispered.. now she had to watch these kids for the rest of the feast.. yay not


Ariana looked over as no one other than cardigan sat next to her.. "a bit sore but alright that's to the healer." she whispered as she watched the minions

Emmanuelle shuddered at the thought. There had been more than enough injuries to last a lifetime when they had landed on the platform. She was just glad that the prefects and the groundskeeper had thought to help. Though she did find it odd that the Headmistress hadn't been out there to help. Maybe she was making sure that everyone had, in fact, made it off the train?

"Nice to meet you too, Feenella," she replied, smiling fully now. Oh, so they were the same year then. "How do you feel about this being the final year?"

During the new Headmistress's speech (oh, so that's why the woman had been yelling up the train for them to sit!), Emmanuelle heard a commotion coming from down the table. Seemed that one of the first years was yelling at two of the second years. Which had attracted the attention of Professor Scabior. Oi. Not a good first impression to make on the Headmistress. She just shook her head. Youngsters.

And what was with the house- elves? And their plants?

Pips looked at Beezley anxiously. "Is the leaves bothering Beezley? Pips can readjust the scary plant leave for Beezley, he can." Pips could touch the scary plant leaves for Beezley if he needed. "Pips is proud of Toddles for being a big and good elfsie. He would have to get Nimma to give Toddles that treat for being so well behaved.

Pips shook his head at Toddles' comment about the studentsies. "Pips thinks Toddles should not tease the studentsies. Pips thinks it is not respectful, he does." He grabbed hold of the heavy pink plant once more and began to heave it towards the table dressed in yellow. "Elvsies must get to Headmistress with red Hair quickly if they want to deliver pink plant on time. Elvsies must iron their ears extra hard tonight."

:: Ganymede sat with her mouth hanging open, like a complete imbecile. Sometimes she would do this when she was bored with her current situation. And she was, so her head decided to daydream.

In her head she was thinking about some stupid conversation her Mother had with her before the term started. The blank look on her face was actually the same she gave her Mother at that time. It was like she was reliving the conversation. You are eleven now, a young lady. You should drop your bad attitude and start learning what it means to be a lady, grow out that awful hair and do something nice with it, quit being such a weirdo...*blah,blah,blah*

After a few minutes, Ganymede was STILL like that. Still, re-examining the conversation in her head, thinking of sarcastic comebacks she could have used. It would have ultimately gotten her punished, but they would have been great zingers. She wasn't going to grow out her hair, she was not going to "learn what it means to be a lady", that sounded like the most stupidest idea of all. If only she could have told her Mother to "Get with the 21st century or shove off to a cave and rot." But once again, that would have been a bad idea, so this blank stupid fish face was all she could do.

Seriously, she needed shook or something. Geez. ::

"That's good," Cardigan whispered back. It seemed like everyone was better, from all the accidents and episodes from the port keys and all that. Even herself! The pain had definitely downsized from her jaw, enabling her to talk more with out it being painful as ever. It still did hurt though, and she would still need to visit the healer. She might be able to last a day or two like she was, but she couldn't last forever, that's for sure.

Cardigan figured that Ariana would want help on watching the kids. She didn't seem too happy about it. Well, she DID help her, so the least the third year could do was take some of the responsibility and make it easier on her. "You did help me at the platform, so I could help you watch them, if you'd like," She whispered softly. That was the kind of person she was.

Mika hadn't seen West or any of the Slytherins for that matter really. She skipped over bearing a box of cookies. It was good after all that the Headmistress had made her speech now.

She wouldn't be scolded for talking to another house would she?

It wasn't like she was anything like Tate. She had no idea how Truebridge really was.

Still as she made her way over she spotted Pips, Toddles, Beezley, and the other house elves. "Toddles, Pips, Beezley," she smiled and made her way over to where West and everyone who had been charmed was sitting. "Hey West, Hey Theo" she smiled over to them.

"How are you guys? Want some chocolates?" she asked plopping down the box of chocolates on the table. There maybe they would enjoy it.

Lex looked over curiously as a girl walked up to the table and offered Theo and West some chocolates...She wanted chocolate. Merlin knew the woman was taking forever with her speech and she was starting to get hungry now. It was bad enough that she had managed to finish all her candy but when you added a drawn out speech it spelt disaster!

She stared over at the girl for a moment, wondering if she should ask. After all she didn't know this girl so it might have been weird for her having ask her for some.

It only took a few more seconds of gazing to change her mind. She took the other sheet of paper and scribbled: Can I have a chocolate too...? then held it up to her.

This whole no talking thing was already getting annoying.

:: Suddenly the smell of chocolate wafted near her. It shook her out of her dreamlike stupor. "*CoughCoughCough*" Her throat was so dry, she grabbed the nearest cup and rinsed her mouth out with the liquid (turned out to be pumpkin juice) and spit it back into the cup. With a quick glance around, she slowly placed the cup of spit back to where it was.

She saw the source of the chocolate smell and the smell of the house elves mixed with it. It was a stale smell. Ganymede never saw so many house elves before. She resisted the urge to return to her blank stare. Instead she reached into her purple bag and pulled out a very tiny spy glass.

Leaning over and pulling her hair forward, she expertly hid the spyglass with her sleeves. It looked as if she was just resting her head on the table.

Her nebbing uncovered something, the plant that the elves were carrying was pink. Pink... what an ugly color. Another uncovered item, Lex was near the chocolates. Ganymede was aquainted with the Gryffindor. Perhaps she could weasel chocolate as well.

With one quick move, Ganymede shoved the spyglass back into her bag, stood up and strutted over to the students.

"Lex, Who's your Ravenclaw friend?" Ganymede asked while patting the back of Lex. "Hey, I got some strawberry gum if you want to trade for those chocolates." Ganymede offered with a sweet smile. ::

Dylan was going for the in-cognition approach to this Feast. He'd sat in a carriage with less than desirable people...Less than desirable PERSON, actually...and now, his mood was completely soured. You know, as if it hadn't been bad enough before.

Although, hearing that girl (with the long name) tell the Prefect off had been the HIGHLIGHT of his month. One that had been desperately needed.

It was actually a good thing not being a standout at this particular Feast. Observing turned out to be much better...Lots of new Slytherins. Rich had been sorted into his house, which he'd totally seen coming. Turner wasn't fit to be in anywhere else. Not with his track record. Oh, and the bossy girl that had stopped him earlier...The blonde? Yea, she'd been sorted as a RAVENCLAW.

Did he have a sign on his back that said...'If you're a bossy female that thinks she knows EVERYTHING...Oh, and just happen to be a Ravenclaw...BOTHER ME'?

Sweet Merlin! The Slytherin didn't have time for any of it. Truth be told, he had a mission this term. One that could not be thwarted by outside interference. Ravenclaw House couldn't keep their hands on that trophy...In fact, it felt like a metaphor of life for the Captain. He was personally having so many issues with Ravvies members...and then, he turned around and lost to them.

It all just left a horrible taste in his mouth.

...And he did NOT need something trivial, like a girl, compromising his mission.

So...Indy was done. He no longer had to worry about that one...but now there was the matter of Beezus. How he was going to deal with that matter, Dylan didn't know. They were set to talk after the feast...So, it would remain to be seen. Perhaps he could stick to his guns this time and actually stop talking to her. Merlin, he hoped he could, anyway.

...And what was this mess going on with his Terror Twins? Who was that small girl sitting with them? Also, WHY was there a Professor speaking to them already? Gah, it'd already started, hadn't it? Already in trouble and it wasn't even past the Feast. Couldn't those two just leave it alone?

What...were those ELVES doing at their table? Ugh, nasty little creatures...He wasn't going to be able to eat with them...in his viewpoint. Gah! Please make them leave!

Meanwhile, some clapping and such for the Headmistress. Yep...Congratulations new people and whatnot. It's so great that new old people have joined us. Awesome.

Dinnertime yet?

She leaned back onto her heels as she waited for the girl to respond. See if she could talk then she could smuggle in some small talk as well, but noooooo, Mr. Mean Speech Taker decided that the night would have been better if she was without her voice. She shook her head at the indignation of it all.

How was she to continue meeting and greeting? Did he expect her to walk away with that bloody piece of paper all night and shove it into the faces of others....as fun as that sounded she preferred doing things because she wanted to and not because she had to so she scowled at the idea.

She whipped around when she heard someone saying her name and saw that it was the girl from the boats...Ganymede...

Lex opened her mouth, once more forgetting that nothing would come out. Merlin this was getting annoying. Her first response was always to talk not write. With a heavy sigh she went back to the paper and scribbled again.

Actually we haven't been acquainted yet but I wanted some of her chocolate; can't talk...have a silencing spell on... She would have written more but that didn't seem like a good idea...

"they can't talk." the fourth year told the two girls who were talking to them.. "silence spell."


Ariana shrugged "if you want, but if anything happens or they get the spell taken off I lose 50 points.. so we needs to keep an eye on theo and odessa over there..

:: Ganymede read the note, gave an incredulous look at the fourth year then spat at Lex, "What in Merlin's beard did you say to get that put on you? Don't look at me to reverse it. I can maybe give the person who put it on you a knuckle sandwich." She offered with a laugh. "I mean, whenever the Professors and such aren't around." She added with a whisper and a flex of her fists.

She knew Lex needed cheered up, she hoped this Ravenclaw would give them some chocolates.

"So, uh.. My name is Ganymede. Lex here is a pal of mine and golly we both sure do love chocolate. I have this wonderful Strawberry gum. So it could be a trade like I said before. Toraks Teeth! You could have the whole pack of 10 for like 4 of those yummy things." Ganymede retrieved the pink and blue pack of gum from her bag. "See, not even opened." She held it out to the Ravenclaw. ::
