Minerva smiled as he said he had met Damon, "Well good, I want you to meet my little group. Damon and I have been good friends since the end of my second term. He's a bit of a quiet one, but I think you'll get along well." She giggled and looked over at Damon. Awww he was looking for her, Minerva couldn't help but take his hand after he said that. "Well what can I say we think alike. After forcing you to follow me around at the Quidditch party, I figured it's all I could do was come to your neck of the woods here."

She then smiled as he agreed to hanging out with her friends this summer. Oh that would be wonderful a summer with friends and Ethan. So much better then last summer. "I really hope I get to stay in London, I miss my grandparents, but a summer with you and my friends sounds like a great plan." Now all she needed was news that she could stay in London.



Minerva tried to keep her cool with Taylor, she really did want to help fix their friendship after it got broken a bit with her cuddling logic, but seeing her crying as usual on Harvey and then hugging on Damon just sent something through her that she didn't like. Then there was the cold talking she did towards Min, that wasn't friendly well not very much. "Well I'm sorry you think you have to hide from Ari, but maybe it's best if you two just stay away from each other." and stay away from her boyfriend in the touchy hugging way. Giving her the best smile she could Minerva tried to be nice, "Well maybe you and Maxwell need to talk through it, but I guess you will have fun with Brodie." She then caught the smile she gave Ethan and even though Minerva knew there wasn't ever going to be anything there she couldn't help but glare. She warned Taylor to even try cuddling with him.. She then took a breath, what had gotten into her. She wasn't a jealous person, there was no reason for her to not trust Taylor, was there.



Minerva kept eyeing Harvey, but tired to smile as well. He knew his hair was in danger if he crossed a line. "Well it's not like you don't know any of Ella's friends they are pretty much your friends. You have been half puff since we got sorted Harvs." Minerva laughed remembering all the feast they had sat together at. "Well I'm hoping we will see each other this summer Harvs, hopefully we could all hangout together, Ella, you, Ethan, and I." Yes that would be fun.

Tay caught the glare and growled, "Oh my gosh, Min. I cant even smile at a person without getting a glare? I mean Ethan helped me study before you two dated. It aint like Im interested in him." She paused and looked at Ethan, "No offense, of course, you are sweet but i would never think of you that way and nor you me probably." Taylor laughed then looked at Min, "I am happily dating someone right now anyways." Tay stood up, "I think I am going to go talk to some of my real friends." Taylor snarled and stormed off.

Harvey smiled as she laughed and looked at Lily as well.. he wondered what that look was for but it disappeared the moment she talked about a fight "Yeah we will.. I promise we will have a snowball fight" he said smiling cause he knew how fun they were and he couldnt say no to one of those. He smiled "Well I am just glad I can help friends out thats all" he said as he saw her glance at Mins before talking to him again as she apologised "Its ok Taylor.. its over now its all be resolved.. we are just going to move on from that now." he said to her as he rememebered that bad time that he had not too long ago

He looked at her as she kept eyeing him knowing that he was in trouble if he didnt something wrong.. and he knew what would be the first to be punished.. oh boy! that was her favourite spell afterall, and he was ok with it seeing as he was her best friend and just wanted her to have fun even if was at his expense. He nodded "I know.. I know.. but after.. that thing.. I am sure not many of them will like me right now.." he said looking over at the puff table before looking back at Mins and chuckling at what she said, it was true.. he had been half puff which is why Ella had nicknamed him King Ravenpuff last term "Well that does explain why I get on well with puffs and my girlfriend and best friend are puffs. I just cant seem to stay away from you yellow badgers" he chuckled as he knew how true this was, before nodding "Yeah!! that.. that will be great! Sounds like a great idea Mins.. I hope so too!" he said now getting all excited at the fact that he would be able to hang out with all of them over the summer.

He was then surprised as Taylor talked to Mins about smiling and getting a glare or something.. before she talked about Ethan.. oh no!! this was not good! He then listened as she talked to Ethan before standing up and leaving the table something about real friends. But she had just said he was a true friend not long ago.. so she probably didnt mean him.. more others than him.

Damon looked between everyone as they spoke and shrugged to Min's question, "I haven't seen her yet, I'm trying to find her." Damon nodded and looked around again, "So how are you Minnie?" He hugged Taylor back and then sat down a little more quiet as everyone's conversations going on. And then Taylor got up and left. He sighed and looked down, We can't win with this thing...

Ariana Skipped over to the ravie table after richard ticked her off she needed to get away for a moment. She saw Damon was there and she hadn't seem him a lot this past weeks and she missed him like WHOA!

"hey Love." she said giving damon a kiss and sitting next to him "Min. Hai." IGNORES FOR TAYLOR and ohh.. who was this.. she eyed the boy.. a ravenclaw.. OHH was this.. THIS Ethan THE ETHAN that she heard soo much about.. maybe.. he WAS sitting next to Min so she assumed "what's going on over here anything interesting?" of course not.. she wasn't here earlier they we're probably soo bored.

Damon's frown changed as Ariana sat next to him. He kissed her back and wrapped his arm around her, "Hello mon amour." Yep, already getting happier, "How're you?"

"how am i? i'm great now." sitting by you and all.. he wrapped his arm around her and she held his hand. heh. "so what's the topic of discussion?" she asked plainly.. cause this was boring. she didn't want to have to take her boyfriend and drag him off to her table cause her table was Fun.. err funny at least with rora & rich being jerks lolol

Ethan glanced over at Damon as Minerva recounted their friendship and gave him a friendly smile. Sure, he seemed cool enough.. Nothing wrong with quiet, beats rude and obnoxious any day. He turned and gave Minnie a smile and chuckled a little. "Force me..? I was there because of you.." He wasn't so certain that he would have gone had it not been for her.. he didn't know anyone else on team and would probably have felt out of place. He was there to support her victory. "Anyway, I'm glad you came over," he said as he felt her hand in his. It would be nice if food came now too, because his hunger wasn't dying down.

Ethan shot a look to Harvey. Why did he seem so nervous talking to Minnie? He watched him curiously for a moment then grinned as he said he'd want to hang out too. Ethan was down with that.. he thought Harvey was pretty cool, actually.

Glancing over to Taylor as she addressed him, he returned her smile and said, "Oh.. I've been good, thanks. Just busy studying.. glad to see that come to an end." He chuckled a bit, then added., "Sorry you haven't been feeling well tough.." He had caught her saying something to Min about being ill. And then his eyes widened as she laid into Minnie. Glare? Interested? Ethan had no clue what was going on right then and it took him a moment to find his voice. "Um.. right.." he replied, a bit out of sorts as Taylor spoke to him again. Watching her as she stormed off, he turned to Minnie and said, "..what just happened?" She wasn't jealous, was she? Not that he'd ever give Taylor a second glance, he did kinda like that Min was that protective over him..

He gave her hand a gentle squeeze and looked up as another person joined their part of the table. A Slytherin girl.. Damon's girlfriend by the looks of it. "Hello.." he said, giving the girl a friendly smile. "I'm Ethan.." Oh and she was a friend of Minnie's too?

Minerva watched Taylor's little outburst and just laughed. She hated that their friendship wasn't great anymore, but she wasn't dealing with her little two year old tantrums anymore. The girl always had something wrong that she was crying about, maybe that was her issue. She needed not to let things bother her so much and just be happy. Then maybe people could handle being around her without thinking she was just being a flirt or trying to take someones boyfriend. Did she really think she was tricking anyone with the real friends comment, her real friends were all sitting here. Well the ones she hadn't ticked off at least.

Sighing Minerva looked at Ethan, "Long story, she has not been getting along well with a few of my friends, because she thinks its appropriate to hug and cuddle with their boyfriends. So Taylor and I haven't been seeing eye to eye. I guess I maybe went a little far, but I just don't trust her." She looked at Ethan and gave a weak smile, "I trust you.. Just not her." Squeezing his hand again she wanted off the Taylor topic and she needed to let her temper settle down.

Minerva then turned her attention back to Harvey, "Well maybe you should keep you distance from that thing and people wouldn't get mad at you as easily." Yes Harvey that was her advice, stay way from the problem and you won't have a fight on your hands. Trying to focus on other things Minerva smiled at the thought of the four of them hanging out. "Yes we are going to plan on hanging out.. That would be great."

Smiling at Damon she was happy that he was being social, she knew she was pushy about it, but she loved her friends and they should all be together, even if one was being a bit of a brat "I'm doing pretty well Damon. So have you talked to Puck about camping?" Yes this though excited her.. Of course it did, she loved hanging out with Puck, he was so much fun. "What big plans do you have for the summer? Some of it better be spent with me if I'm going to be at your girlfriends house." She chuckled and speaking of the devil Ariana walked over and sat down. Giggling to herself seeing the look Ariana was giving Minerva leaned over to Ethan. "Don't to worry you, but your biggest threat for needing approval just walked over." Minerva gave him a little wink and then turned, "Ethan this is my best friend, Ariana Logan. Ariana this is Ethan." Yes, Ari the Ethan you have heard so much, maybe even to much about..

Mmmmmhmmmm. Max heard you loud and clear, Vivi. Or, at least, his prior assumptions matched up with the vagueness of her comments, so Max gave her a few nods as she explained the confession, the... muddling of things between her and Vickers. "I'm sorry it happened that way," he frowned. "I... don't mean to act like I know how you feel or know exactly what you're going through," though he wanted to TRY to help, "but it's okay to feel the way you do. Hear me out. Sometimes..." He paused thoughtfully. "I think sometimes in life we'll all end up facing a trial that doesn't make sense or seems unfair - when we want something and we deserve that something, even, but... we can't have it no matter how seemingly perfect it would be, in our minds, to have that something." Was he making sense? He wasn't sure. Had he even just made a good point? He wasn't sure about that either. But he continued along, not wanting Vivi to cut him off in any sort of protest.

"It's not fair and it's not kind for the world to be that way. You'd think the best people would, by nature, get handed the best things or the best situations... but... unfortunately, sometimes the people who deserve the best get slighted." He gave her a sad, knowing look. "I think you just have to... try not to... dwell... on whatever's going on. It sounds to me like a really bizarre, confusing situation in general. Sometimes there's not a right or wrong way to go about handling something like that. Sometimes, either way, whatever you end up doing, you... end up hurt." Max shifted slightly where he sat and folded his hands in front of him on the table. He searched Vivi's eyes for some level of understanding(rather than anger) from her. "But everything will be okay in the end. I... believe in you and... we're off to bigger and better things soon and you're going to be a hero to the world! Just like your mum."

He was a nervous rambler, and suddenly he acknowledged the fact that his thoughts were all jumbled and he kept spouting random bits of encouragement; his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Perhaps his rambling would be more meaningful if he offered some backstory, he thought? Max hesitated before adding slowly, "...I've been in your situation. She picked him over me - not Em, my best friend Ellie Stone - and... it didn't seem right or... fair. Why not me, y'know?" His eyes fell over Vivi's features carefully, trying to tread lightly but also show her that he was very strongly sympathizing with her - and that she was not alone. "And though there were some rough patches... and it hurt to see them together..." his voice was very low, "...I thought, wasn't it better to be able to be friends with her than to not have contact with her at all? Wouldn't it be better to hurt and have friendship than hurt and... not have the friendship?"

Max worried that he was a bit too late with this last bit of advice. If Vivi had 'muddled' things and Vickers was needing to demand Vivi's attention... she had probably tried to protect her feelings by pushing them away, hadn't she? "You can do whatever you want and I know you're not me - you can handle yourself just fine - but... I don't want you to end up regretting anything." Okay. He was done. He turned his gaze down to his folded hands in front of him, nervously awaiting a potential lash-out from the girl sitting next to him.

When Vivi slid the card in front of him, Max blinked down at it, his expression blank. He breathed slowly, then leaned into the table and peered closer at the card. That was his mother from... ten years ago? A smile spread across his face gradually as he examined her broomstick, her blue robes, the Appleby Arrows' symbol on the robes... and how utterly elated she looked.

"'You shouldn't leave anything undone that you'll regret'," he echoed aloud after a moment, a big grin on his face directed at Vivi. "I like that." He paused. Was that good advice for herself, too? Hmm... he wasn't sure that he wanted to directly point that out. He continued to smile down at the card for a long while, reflecting on everything it meant to him - as the woman in the card's son, as a prospective player for the same team, and... where did Vivi even get the card? Had she just had it lying in a collection of some sort? Whatever the case, he couldn't have been more thankful. "This is the best present..." he struggled to find the words and took Vivi's hand in his for emphasis. "It means a lot to me, this does," he said, poking the card with the pointer finger of his other hand. "Thank you, Vivi. I have been thinking about it a lot..." He glanced down at the card in front of him before looking back up at Vivi and asking, "Would you come to one of my games?" That was a big deciding factor, of course. Heh.

Her first instinct was to jump and try to untangle whoever was trying to KILL? tackle her but when the girl spoke, Louisa let out a sigh of relief and wrapped her arms around the younger Puff. "It's alright." The older girl forced a chuckle but her smile was genuine. "I'm glad we got to talk and know each other more too. I really like your energy." She pulled away and sniffed once. "I'm going to definitely expect you to tell me about your later adventures! I wouldn't want to miss a thing." Another hug, this time it was slower and more intimate before releasing the girl and heading for the staff table... sniffing.

Lily was still crying? Aww! Louisa did not know how to make people stop shedding tears! She thought sentimental words would only make it worse. She slid on the seat next to the younger 'claw and let her arm snake around her shoulders, "Stop crying, please? For me?" Because SHE was going to start crying TOO. That was exactly the thing Louisa was keeping under control and refusing to let herself be this emotional in front of the whole school.

"I'm going to write, okay? And we still have summer! We'll go out, have ice cream or whatever you want." She offered helpfully. "I bet you write long letters like I do."

Louisa sighed faintly and started looking around, actually acknowledging where she was seated. Vickers was not around yet, was he still at the door? She felt the necklace heavier around her neck. Then there was Max and Vivi somewhere on the opposite side of the table. Then Ethan, her hairstyler hehe, and Harvey. The rude girl that hates candy and Taylor. Others not from the house but Louisa knew their faces without attaching names to them.

She suddenly felt tired. And sleepy. So she sagged on her spot and started to play with the spoon.

He felt Ethan looking at him but he wondered whether Ethan knew about everything that had gone on, and was actually kinda grateful that he asked Minnie and she had explained it to him in short. He then listened to Mins as she talked to him, he did not approve of this but with things still unstable he didnt say anything on that cause he knew that one wrong thing and Minnie would get upset and she might just spill to Ella, and that was the LAST thing he wanted right now. Wasnt almost losing her last time enough? He just nodded "Ok.. I may do.. sometimes. Your point has been noted" he said to her before he smiled and nodded "Well of course its going to be great! You always come up with the great ideas!" he chuckled and just as Harvey looked at Ethan he saw him grin, so the boy wanted to hang out with him too?! Well that will be fun! "Two cool claw boys and their two awesome puff girls hanging out.. what could be more fun than that?!" he chuckled "Not much else I think.. there might not be nothing more fun than that, unless I am hanging out with Ella as I have planned.. in which case sorry.. that becomes more fun" he chuckled as he thought about all the plans they had made together,, camping and adventures and such! He then watched as Ariana came over and talked to Minnie and Ethan, he hadnt seen her in a while but he had to say she seemed very happy.. a complete change from the first day he met her.

Damon shrugged to Ariana's question again, "I honestly just got here as well, all I know is Taylor got mad and stormed off." He sighed and looked at Min, "It'll probably be the week of my birthday because I'm busy all June with my week with Sage and going to France to look at a few more colleges."

Yes Yes I am THE Great Ariana Logan at your serviceee. *snort* Ariana was a bit too excited about summer already. she eyed the boy, EYYEEED him.. should he feel intimated? YES very much so. "Pleasure to finally meet the famous ethan i keep hearing about." a LOT about. Ariana didn't mind hearing about him really and she was happy Min was as happy as she was. "so tell me about yourself a bit ethan." oh yes let the grilling begin! especially since Min was staying with Ariana this summer she wasn't just going to let some guy come over and hang out before she grilled him really..

oh more eyes on ariana. go on watch me all you want... "HELLO!" person whoo's name i dont remember but HI "excited for summer?" yes and DONT get use to this niceness people. the girl is just excited for summer.

"oh that's good.. that you just got here." and then Slight frowwwnnn She completly forgot he was going to be gone like ALLLLL Of June... BOOOOOOO But she'd have min to hang out with and ethan she supposed. maybe she could Take Hudson's offer up and go hang out with her or someone with min hung out with ethan some days. she knew of anyone couples needed their alone time and all.

Ameliah finally decided to walk beck to her own table after hanging out so long with Adam. Gosh, she hadn't seen him in ages! She had gotten bored with his persistence that Ronnie be the subject. but she was still excited for them.

As she neared the table, she grinned at a familiar blonde head. "Hey, Taylor!" she exclaimed, hugging the fellow Claw. And Minnie was here too! Gah, how long did I spend with the Snakes? A big grin and hug to Minnie as well before she sat next to her sister. Ameliah also noticed a guy sitting next to her... probably the famous Ethan, but she would wait to introduce herself. Her smile faltered as she noticed Harvey out of the corner of her eye. "Watson," she greeted him cooly before she turned back to the others.

"So Taylor, last day, huh?" There was a hidden sad tone to her voice.

Mick came by to the Ravenclaw table, in a very slow pace. He still didn't think that this was the right thing to do, he didn't mind the idea of trying to get everyone to settle their differences. But everyone, apparently, doesn't want that and it left him with no choice but to tell Elliot that they can't talk to each other anymore. Maybe he wants to prolong this decision, maybe he doesn't want to do it; because when he got close enough to the table, he didn't stop. He just kept on walking, beginning to circle all four tables.

Great! Now I look weird. As he walked around the Great Hall, he tried to think of any medical reason why he can do this another time. Like, on the train ride home or something. Then he questioned why he's even doing this at all and if he could just simply ignore her at all costs, but avoiding her might make things worse. Mick wished that his father or Aunt Ana was with him, then he could ask them what he should do. Wait a minute - they might tell me the same thing, 'do what you think is right'. I don't know what's right.

The second time he came by the Ravenclaw table, he went passed it again. It occured to him that Sophie and Laura might be talking about him, talking about why he's circling the room like a maniac. Feeling really insecure about what people may be saying about him, he turned around and went back to the Ravenclaw table and headed towards Miss Morganzo. "Hi Elliot -" Mick stopped and realized his reason to avoid this conversation was right in front of him. It appears that she's talking to someone. "I'm sorry, I'm obviously interrupting -" and his sentence dropped again. He started to think that if he cops out, nothing will get resolved. "Aahhhhhhhhhh...Why are you mean to Laura and Sophie and nice to me?" It all just spilled out, without any beforehand thinking.

I'm so stupid!

Ethan listened carefully as Minerva tried to explain just what was going on with Taylor. Well, that was a bit surprising to him.. He didn't really think Taylor was the type of girl to cause relationship problems for other people, but he supposed he didn't know her all that well either. At any rate, even he knew it was not acceptable for a girl to cuddle another's boyfriend.. besides, didn't she say she had her own boyfriend? Ethan wasn't sure any boy would be too pleased to know that was going on. Too far? "Oh.. I don't think you did anything wrong," he said with a small smile to Minnie (though he hadn't seen the glare). At least not anything that he saw to make the other girl storm off like she did. Stroking the back of her hand with his thumb, he gave her a reassuring smile as she mentioned trust. "You have nothing to worry about." He had no intention of going anywhere.

He vaguely watched the exchange between Minnie and Harvey. She seemed a bit annoyed with him.. Oh. Was he one of the boyfriends that Min just mentioned? Ethan was beginning to think that as he had walked into Taylor hugging on the boy when he had first come over.Maybe that was why he had seemed so nervous.. But as it wasn't really his business and it seemed to be behind them for the time being, Ethan didn't comment, instead chuckled along with Harvey as he discussed their Ravenpuff relationships. "Yeah, I think it'll be fun.." Might be good to get to know his housemate a bit better.. and summer sounded like a good time to do that. "Do you live close by, Harvs?" He figured he probably did.. most who went here seemed to be British, but not all so he wouldn't assume.

The boy turned back to Minerva as she spoke to him again. Biggest threat for needing approval.. No pressure there.. heh. Oh so this was the best friend.. Giving the girl a smile as she spoke, Ethan said, "Good to finally meet you, Ariana.. I've heard a lot about you as well." And she wanted to know about him? Ethan struggled with such a vague question when asked.. where did one begin? "Um.. I'm sure you don't want my whole life story, so I'll just try to give you the condensed version.." he started with a chuckle. "Grew up in Germany, spent the last four years before coming here at Beauxbatons, only child.. um.. oh, and in my spare time I like to ski the Alps, visit the beaches of South France, and experiment with botanical cross-species.." That about summed it up.. though he sorta felt like he was on a job interview. Eh.. it kinda went with the territory though, right? Sort of a best friend's job to check out the guy she's dating. "Anything else you'd like to know?" He wasn't sure if she was looking for something more specific..

And another to join their group? Ethan did not know this girl, even though she was dressed in his house colors. She seemed to know the rest of them though, even if she did not seem to be a friend of Harvey's.. "Hello there.." he greeted the girl with a friendly smile.

As the group talked amongst themselves, Ethan noticed the Head Girl sitting a bit glumly at their table. Giving Minnie a kiss on the cheek, Ethan got up from his seat. "I'll be right back.. I need to say good-bye to Louisa." And Vickers too, but he didn't notice him sitting at their table right then. But he could not let them leave without saying something to them.. and he was afraid if he waited any longer he would miss his chance.

As he walked towards her, the boy noticed Mick and Elliot at the other end of the table. And neither of them looked very happy. He watched for a moment, somewhat concerned, then gave them a little wave before turning back to his Prefect. He wasn't sure what was going on between the two of them, but wasn't sure he should butt in right then either. At the very least, he'd talk to Mick later.. just to make sure he was ok.

"Hey, Louisa.." he started as he stood next to her seat. "I just.." Ok.. words were starting to fail him here, what exactly was he trying to say? Taking a deep breath, the boy started again. "I wanted to tell you what a great Head Girl I thought you were.. You're really smart and were a great leader." Yes, he really looked up to the Seventh Year. "I'm glad you were a Ravenclaw.. and even though this was my first year here, I'm.. I'm going to miss you being here next year." Hopefully that wasn't too awkward.. though the boy felt a little awkward to be all sentimental. Had to be said though.

Spike arrived at the Ravenclaw table looking like he should be headed to the greenhouses rather than the end of term feast. Balanced carefully on one hip was a tray containing a four blue ceramic flowerpots. He'd even gone to the length of putting a bronze ribbon bow around them. Pausing a moment to glance along the Claws present, he gave a wave to Max and Vivi. He wouldn't disturb them just yet, but did need to see them before the end of the feast.

For now though, he headed to the space opposite Louisa. He gave the Head Girl a smile as he placed the tray of pots on the table, though it fell slightly as he noted her expression. She seemed...almost disconnected. Not emotional, like some others in past that he'd known, nor excited to be moving on. Just kinda there. "Want some company?" he asked warmly.

Her gaze was fixated on the spoon drumming gently against the wooden table, a lot was going on in her head and yet nothing was making sense at all. She forced herself not to get to those parts where she'd get emotional and tear up or too frustrated and start throwing... utensils at people. There was the two necklaces that meant almost the same thing wrapped around her neck, and the letter from Joao and then this whole leaving everyone behind business that never occurred to her as a big deal before.

She spotted someone approaching by the corner of her eye and turned her head to the side to see Ethan sliding on the bench next to her. He seemed to have prepared his words carefully by the determined look on his face and Louisa gave him a small smile, "Hi Ethan." She put down the spook and folded her hands, still resting her elbows on the edge of the table as she listened to him.

As if she needed one more reason to go all mushy feely and teary eyes. Without thinking about what she was doing, she engulfed Ethan with a squeezing one-arm-around-the-neck hug. "Merlin, Ethan, my mascara will run." She joked, half-heartedly after pulling away and sniffing. It was a lie too, she wasn't wearing mascara. "That makes me really proud of all of you, guys. I believe we worked together pretty awesomely this term and I got to know very talented students." She bumped his shoulder gently and widened her smile. "I'm not dying though, okay? We'll keep in touch. I demand letters." She looked into his eyes seriously, "If I don't get one every couple weeks I'll send a howler." Another serious joke, hehe.

She was staring straight ahead at the table standing nearest to theirs when Spike claimed the spot opposite her. Louisa quickly averted her eyes away from whoever caught her attention and moved closer to her co-Prefect. "Oh yes, please." She sighed and smiled at him. He was the perfect company right now 1) he wasn't a boyfriend that was hiding something from her 2) he wasn't a dormmate that tried to leave on 'good terms' for inexplicable reasons and 3) he wasn't wearing a brooch which kind of started to become a bad sign to her.

"What a year, huh?" Her head leaned on her hand as her other arm hugged the plate in front of her. "Poltergeists, ghosts, man-eating plants and sleeping on floor. I sure didn't expect it to be this adventurous." She let out a weak chuckle, not really reaching her eyes.

If Max wanted to give Vivi a little perspective, he was speaking her language. In spite of her upbringing, Vivi hadn't always had an easy time of things, what with the kidnapping as a toddler, growing up with a loving but absent mother, and being separated from her twin for schooling. Still, she could see that there was very little she'd ever had to struggle for, and nothing that had ever been denied her, other than the schooling thing. Maybe Max had a point, and this was some cosmic lesson or justice or... maybe everyone had their mountain to climb, and she didn't know how to handle hers because this was her first mountain.

"Maybe," Vivi finally replied quietly. "I wanted to do the right thing, but I guess I don't get the final say in what that is. We're all in this together." She huddled closer to Max and rested her cheek very briefly against his shoulder. He was a comfort, sitting there beside her. "I keep hurting him, though... and now I"m hurting Louisa. Look at her. I did that. I thought distance would help them, but it hurts them too. I don't know how to fix this." She wibbled a bit before steadying herself. She made it sound all very generous, but the distance was for her sake too. Maybe mostly her sake. "How did you get over it?" she whispered.

She dashed her hands across her eyes just in case they were wet and smiled at Max's genuine excitement over his gift. "You're welcome. And you're a big idiot if you think I wouldn't come to every single game. I think the thing I'll hate most about leaving is that my Quidditch days are behind me, unless I can get into some recreational league with old guys reliving their glory days." She propped her chin on her fist and shook her head at him in disbelief. Duh... as if she wouldn't love bragging to the fans in the stands that she knew the fabulous and adorable Keeper.

Minerva let her glaring ease up on Harvey not that Taylor was gone and he understood what the problem was. "I'm just looking out for you, you know. Your one of my closest friends and have been since my first day here. So I just don't want to see screw things up for a stupid reason." She then smiled as Harvey said such nice things about her and Ella. "Well I know two claw boys that are just as great." This summer seemed to have many exciting things to look forward to. "Well hopefully I will know soon if I'm staying in London or if I will be in the States. Then the rest of the plans can unfold."



Minerva couldn't help but glare a bit at Damon as he made Taylor's little episode out to be nothing. "She got mad because I called her out on always having something wrong with her and the need to cry and hug on other people's boyfriends." Yes, Min wasn't afraid to say what really happened. Then she looked at Damon, "Well if I'm around, I'm in.. It will be fun, celebrating your birthday and camping. What do you want for your birthday this year?" Of course she was going to get him something, so why not ask to get what he might want. She ignored the college talk, she was tired of hearing him talk about colleges, she still had a year with her friend, she didn't want to even think about him leaving after next term. No.. she refused to think about it at the moment.

Then Ariana started on Ethan, oh this might be interesting, but Ari better be nice, she knew how much Min liked Ethan. She knew probably a bit to much on how Min felt. So not to bad.. she was being nice, gold star for Ariana. She would have to remember to tell Ethan what happened the first time she met Ariana. That was always an interesting story, but they were best friends now so it didn't matter anymore. She listened as Ethan told about himself and she gave his hand a gentle squeeze reassuring him that he did an awesome job with her friend. "So Ethan if I do end up with an internship I am going to be staying at Ari's house all summer. It is going to be a blast, isn't it Ariana." She couldn't wait to see Rowan's face as she came through the door, but she couldn't wait to spend the summer with her best friend.



Minerva then was getting hugged by someone, oh it was Am, "Hey Am, how are you? Happy term is over?" Minerva saw how she greeted Harvey and rolled her eyes, "Did you ever get an answer from that letter about how things ended..." She didn't say exactly what she was talking about but knew Am would know. "Oh hey, Am this is Ethan, Ethan this is another friend Am." Yes, Min had many friends and hoped she didn't overwhelm Ethan with all of them.

Harvey smiled and gave her a small wave "Hi Ariana" he said as she said hi to him first.. and he nodded "Yup! I am excited for it.. and I am guessing that you are excited too? " he asked her knowing that she would probably spend as much time as she could with Damon.



He then heard someone call out Taylor's name as he looked round he saw it was Ameliah that hugged Taylor.. before hugging Mins as well and sat down next to Taylor. He then looked down as she said his name.. he looked at her and gave her a nod "Ameliah" that was all.. did more need to be said? Nope! he didnt think so, he then looked elsewhere apart from there. This was the first time that he and an ex-girlfriend were like this, usually they were still on friendly terms. He and Mins were best friends, he and Ronnie were still friends. But things had gone down leading to this.



Harvey smiled as Ethan agreed with him that it would be fun, he didnt think of Ethan as being a fun guy but then again he was dating Minnie so that said it all. Meaning that usually girls that loved to have fun usually found a guy that did as well. Plus being both claws it was good for house unity to get to know each other and get on with everyone. He looked at Ethan as he asked Harvey a question, Harvey nodded "Yeah I do.. well.. close by to Kings Cross Station.. not near here.. this is too far from where I live." he said.. cause Scotland was very far from Kings Cross..he often wondered why Kings Cross had been chosen as the station to gather at for the train. "Where do you live?" he asked him as a way of getting to know him now.. since they would probably hang out quite a bit since they all knew Mins, both the boys and Ella.



He noticed that she wasnt glaring as much which he was grateful for, since for some reason her glaring got him all nervous sometimes that he just messed things up more. He nodded "I know Mins, you always have looked out for me." he nodded some more "Yeah.. and you are mine." he knew what that reason was "I will try my hardest not to screw anything up.. I promise" and if he did.. he would Mins every right to yell at him and scream at him too. He tried to look all innocent as she talked about him and Ethan as being great "Well I know you are talking about Ethan there.. who is the other claw boy?" he asked jokingly even though he knew that she was talking about him. He just couldnt wait for the summer to arrive and for them all to hang out "Thats cool.. and yes I agree we will plan more hang outs and things once you know Mins" he said smiling wondering what sort of things she had planned for them to do when they hung out.

Elliot was still flipping through Aurora's book...trying to see if she had any tips on becoming an Occlumency EXPERT in less than a week...

Ugh.

So far she found NOTHING...like that. But she did appreciate it. She lifted her glass to her lips, taking a deep sip of water--since, apparently, the tea was NOWHERE to be found--and lifted her eyes at the sound of approaching human presence.

Meh.

It was Mick! Elliot's managed a small grin as he said her name...but he looked off. She tilted her head to the side curiously...wondering WHY he was acting so weird...she opened her mouth to ASK him so when he dropped THAT bomb..

*BLINK*

Elliot just stared at him for a few seconds...Uh...what? She finally got her voice..."Because I like you... and don't like...them." I mean..isn't that sort of...obvious? Because...when you like someone, you're nice to them. And quite the opposite when you don't..she was staring at him quizzically...because it seemed so obvious...

As Belle made her way to the Ravenclaw table, she was looking for someone in particular. She wanted to say goodbye to Ethan first. She met him this year and he became a close friend. Belle was going to miss Ethan that is for sure. She saw him talking to a lot of people. Belle did not want to sound rude but when the time was right, Belle lightly tapped his shoulder.

"Hey you." she whispered as she tapped his shoulder. "I wanted to say goodbye before the feasts ends." Belle smiled and hugged him. Belle then saw Minnie too here. She smiled at her and of course she would visit her boyfriend over here, no doubt about it.

"Of course you did," Max nodded sympathetically. "And sometimes there isn't a 'right' thing to do. You just kind of had to... take a leap one way or the other and hope for the best." And it seemed that Vivi had not taken the most beneficial leap in terms of her own happiness. The girl looked miserable regarding the topic at hand - and so did the other two Ravenclaw seventh years, Max had noticed. Even though she had caused much of their current dismay, he couldn't help but feel sorry for Vivi. "I know you thought you were making the right choice. But... if it doesn't feel like the right choice now... I don't think you're completely out of luck. Someone still wants to be your friend," he reminded her, nodding his head over at the unopened gift in front of her. "It looks to me like it might just be a... pride thing now. I can't imagine it could be easy to fix this," he stated honestly and gently added, "but often times... the right thing to do isn't always the easiest thing to do."

How did he get over it? Get... over Ellie? Ha. "Time," Max said quietly, looking down at the table in front of him. Six years worth of it, to be exact. But... she didn't quite need to hear that; it wouldn't have helped the situation much. Luckily, Vivi seemed much more emotionally stable and less... clingy than he was. He had been captivated by the power of love; he didn't know how far Vivi's affections for Vickers had gone, but he had a feeling that she would recover faster than he had.

"Time was the biggest healer. And... the realization that there were other fish in the sea. I think... maybe... there are a number of people we're truly compatible with and we'd be good with in a relationship; the kind of people we're immediately drawn to upon meeting them, personalities click perfectly, and you know you want that person to be a part of the rest of your life." His brows slowly began to furrow as he spoke, questioning his relationship with Em for the first time. "But... most of those people will end up as good friends, but there's ultimately one person that will truly captivate our minds and souls, y'know? And I don't think we know who that person is right away. How do we weed out 'the one' from all the other compatible ones?" He was thinking aloud now; he frowned at Vivi, confused by his own rambling. "Maybe 'time' is the answer there, too. Maybe... time is what heals us when someone is captivated by someone else, but also what shows us who captivates us enough to fall head over heels... who is the one."

Max paused for a long moment and rested his hand on Vivi's in a subtle attempt to console her. He would have rather given her a big hug, but he wasn't sure that she would have liked him to draw attention to the mood of the conversation they were having. Perhaps onlookers would just think they were sad to be graduating, but... Max didn't want Vickers or Louisa to think they were talking about them.

Even though they kind of were.

"So... maybe... graduating right now is a good thing. I do think it would be in your best interest to initiate some sort of... mending of your relationships with them before we get off the express tomorrow?" He raised his eyebrows cautiously, still trying to tread lightly. "That way, you'll at least not feel guilty for cutting off any sort of contact... and there'll be no loose ends... and you'll have the summer to do as you please."

Max observed Vivi for another long moment, allowing his gaze to fall over her fair features before removing his hand from hers and continuing. "The literal distance between you and Vickers could be good for both of you," he suggested softly. "You'll have time to gather your thoughts properly without being confronted with his face every day anymore. You'll find new adventures soon enough, new things that'll consume your mind - like your pursuit of becoming an Auror. You'll meet new people, perhaps some others to add to the 'lifelong friends' list of guys you could see yourself with, but may ultimately realize are more suitable to just be friends with." Another thing that time often revealed. "You don't have to forget about him or stop all contact with him. I know it's easier said than done, but... just... try to let time lead things one way or another. Just..." he shrugged, "take life as it comes."

...A big idiot? He chuckled at her reply and tried to lessen the smile that threatened to spread across his entire face. She would really come to his games? She wanted to support him? His grin softening, Max did twist his body to give her a big hug this time. "Thank you, Vivi. I'm... glad to know both that you support this idea and you'd come cheer me on." He pulled away, pure appreciation and admiration gleaming in his chestnut eyes. "I... think I want to do it." Em's not gonna like it, though, he wanted to add, but... he had no desire to bring his problems to the table today. "I think this card was the push I needed," he said, picking up his mother's card from the table and peering at it once more with a soft smile.

And then he started to chuckle once more. "Y'know what I just realized? We both want to be like our mothers."
