The fact that Harvey didn't let go of her hand after the handshake made the third year smile. That was quite nice, having someone who wanted to hold your hand just because.

Ella put her free hand up to her chin, stroking an imaginary beard. "Oh...just some people I know." And the teasing continued. Grin. She was kinda being a mini ogre right now, huh? Edric would be proud. Bounce. Long hugs? "Yeah! Long hugs are the best." So the small blonde totally approved of that. ...And she'd be expecting lots of those. Just saying. "So you can't be mad at me, huh?" Ella asked, smiling mischievously. "Good to know..." Not that Ella would ever doing anything mischievous. It wasn't really in her nature. It was fun to pretend, though.

So they worked? Wicked. Ella smiled, bouncing up and down a bit. "Brilliant. Now to try them out on Dad. That'll be the true test." Cause Richard Bishop didn't cave easily and Ells needed some kind of secret weapon. "..You sure I didn't need the practice? I mean I've never been successful with them before! " And maybe just maybe Harvs was a little biased? Hmmm. The whole Harvey looking down into her eyes thing? It made Ella feels those pesky butterflies and she wished they would stop cause they were making it hard to string together a coherent sentence. What...had he said again? Oh....eyes. Green eyes. "I um...guess I don't blame you." Nod. "They're pretty awesome." Not to brag or anything.

Harvey saw her smile as he held her hand, he still couldn't believe that he could do that without feeling weird or even without being afraid of anyone seeing them. Well except for Edric who might not be too pleased about no advance warning on what Harvey was about to do, if he had known that Edric hated? no more immensely disliked him ..... what would he have done? He had no idea cause he was still going to tell Ella with or without Edric's permission. Well it was done now, no-one could pull them apart.

He chuckled as she stroked her imaginary beard with her other hand, why did that look cute too? It was just Ella's cuteness all over! He raised his eyebrows "I see.. and would... any of them... be boys... perhaps?" No! He was not getting jealous! He was... just curious that's all! He just wanted to narrow down in his mind the boys that he knew she knew. Theo, Oakey, Edric, there was that Alec boy in her house, well that was all he could think of for now. But he was sure there were a lot more in the big school. But he smiled as she said long hugs were the best, "Well since my hugs are that awesome, maybe I should give you regular dose of hugs so that you get your daily dose of long hugs.... ummm twice a day? yes I think it should be enough for now. But we will check regularly to see if we need to increase your dose" he chuckled, man it was fun to be with Ella. He has missed this sooo much, how had he gone a long time without Ella's magical gestures that he loved so much. He then shook her head at her question "No I don't think I can, its gong to be tough even if I trie" he smaiked. He look at her eyebrows "It is.. huh? I see, not planning anything are you? " he asked her cause just so just so he wanted to know just in case he needed to know.

He smiled as she talked about trying out the eyes on her father, "Um you sure that will be good for you? Sure he won't see through it? " but he figured not since she was so good at it. He nodded "Yeah you didn't. Well people have just been sleepy and not paying attention if you have not been successful " he smiled yeah that's how he saw it. He chuckled as he looked into her eyes "Oh yeah they are! No disagreement there, no wonder your favourite color is shamrock green" he chucked, green and green, he chuckled some more

First date? That was serious stuff, man. SERIOUS. Wow. Addy chewed on that thought for a moment and then giggled a bit. "Of course. Well, at least everything until we meet my cousin. That could make for the lamest date ever, otherwise." Hehe.

"It's nice out here, though. Being able to wander about freely and all. Not having to worry about being late for this class or that. Don't you think?" She was SO looking forward to just walking and talking with Nathan. She knew she could be herself with him and he liked her no matter what randomness came out of her mouth. Heh.

Patrick had gone quiet again, which only made Kendall worry she'd said something wrong. Again. She had to stop doing things like that, especially when she didn't have chocolate to make her feel better when everything went kerplooey. If it even was going to, because she couldn't actually tell if he was upset at her or not. It was all just weird, but she let out a breath she hadn't known she'd started holding when he'd answered her questions. Even though his answers only brought more questions to her mind. "So you won't hide from me anymore? Me being your girlfriend means we're back to telling each other stuff?," she asked. Of course, he usually only told her things when she had poked him to the point of him knowing she wouldn't leave him alone unless he'd told her. Or showed her his notebook, since she knew he hid more than just chocolate recipes and his story in there. Maybe he'll show me more stuff now, she thought. That could be something that made them different now that they were boyfriend and girlfriend. He'd said he wasn't going to hide anymore after all, but she'd wait before she asked about that. She wanted to figure out what else this meant first, since she didn't have her brother or Isabel there to ask. Probably Isabel would be better, seeing as she was a girl and all.

At least she wasn't confused about the fact she didn't mind him holding her hand. That was easy, even though she'd missed the smile that had grown on his face at the action. She liked the feeling of holding his hand. It made her way happier than she'd been for a while now, but then, just having gotten her feelings figured out made her happier in the first place. Plus, she wanted chocolate again, which meant she was definitely back to normal. It was just a new normal, and she swung their hands a little as he'd linked their fingers even more. Giving him a look as he'd interpreted her comment about chocolate completely wrong, and she giggled a little. "I still have chocolate in my trunk too. I didn't eat everything you gave me yet. I just didn't feel like chocolate for a while, so I'd stopped keeping it in my bag," she explained. She could survive on Honeydukes chocolate til they got back to the castle. Although... "You have more that you can give me? Is it different kinds again?" That was almost more exciting than everything else.

Eh.

Yes. Her cousin. In Nathan's book that was really not considered a date then. And not a 'first' one either. "We should go on a date then ... not today, but a day when we aren't suppose to be meeting your cousin .. or anyone for that matter." He said, stuffing his free hand into his pocket.

It was a little chilly.

He smiled hearing her. "Yes. It's really great - .." It was. What better way to figure out what it was between them than this. "So tell me .. did your dad give you a hard time .. about that .. well what he caught us doing.."

When he heard Kendall let out a breath, Patrick realized that he might have put her on edge with considering the questions that she had asked but he hadn't wanted to start things off with making her all worried because that wouldn't have been good; besides making people worried so soon after certain admissions had come out had just definitely not been what he had wanted to do. It appeared that there was more questions to be asked but he had no problem with answering them since he was definitely in a good mood now after everything, there was no excuse for him to want to just shut down and not say anything when he knew that somehow she'd get him to answer what she asked. "No I won't, I promise. And yes, plus it means that I trust you enough to be able to know about everything that I've written in my notebook and no one else does. There's a lot that I've written since last year that you don't know about so now you get the opportunity to read everything." He wasn't about to keep those kind of secrets from her especially since she was his girlfriend and there was absolutely no way that he was just going to not let her see the notebook when it was what he had been thinking about or random ideas that were usually too ridiculous to actually talk about with anyone. Perhaps I can show her the unfinished story from over the summer that is actually kind of interesting, sorta the backstory to the superhero I came up with. Now there was no question about him showing her that story.

As soon as she started swinging their joined hands, he couldn't help but chuckle a little randomly; there might not have been a reason for it exactly though he hadn't had the chance to just been in a good enough mood to laugh. The look that she gave him simply made him grin since he realized the earlier comment had been taken the wrong way which made him go off on a random tangent that made not really much sense. "I was going to say, you finished off all of that chocolate in about a month?! But that makes sense." At least he knew that he didn't have to give her a lot of chocolate, not like it would have affected what he still had left for himself anyway. "Yes I do, I've got caramel and peanut butter filled chocolate bar plus a few more truffles as well as crispy rice mini owls." He still had the salted caramel as well as other stuff that was going to be kept for himself.

Ella fought a smile, raising her eyebrows. "Boys, you say? Hmmm. Maybe just one or two..." Okay, she was completely kidding. Not that she hadn't received great hugs from her guy friends, those just didn't seem to compare at the moment, though. Heh. And hugs twice a day? Was that some kind of perk to having a boyfriend? If so, Ella really liked that perk. Almost as much as she liked Harvey's hugs. "Y'know Harvs, I think I'll keep you." She said thoughtfully, cracking a smile. The fact that Harvey couldn't be mad at her was pretty puzzling as Ella was mad at him for quite some time before he figured things out. She wondered what it was about her that made it hard, noting to ask about this at a later date. As for her planning anything, Ella grinned. "If I was, I couldn't tell you! You'll just have to wait and see." Mysterious, yeah? It was all Ella's detective training coming into play. Not that she had ever had any training... Hulk would be so proud.

Shrug. "He'll probably see right through it, actually...but it's worth a shot! Especially when he asks me to help out Gran when her acting group comes over." Ells really disliked doing that, mostly because everyone was so darn dramatic and constantly complaining about...everything. "Sleepy, huh? Well maybe I'll go out and try it on those same people, see if things turn out differently." She could ask Theodore, as he was quite good at them as well. Blue was too. Grin. "Yup, I've always liked the color! Though blue is starting to grow on me as well..." Just saying.

Addy nodded and leaned into Nathan a bit and smiled. "Maybe we could have a picnic or something? Just us? Or we could just walk around and hang out," she offered. Not that she had any idea if those things could be considered a date seeing as she had never had one. "And really... what constitutes a date? A real one? Are there rules? Certain things that have to be done for it to be a date or do we get to decide?" So many questions... but she would start with those. For now. Heh.

Oh Merlin... her dad was a special man, he was. Addy couldn't help the color that rushed her cheeks at the mere mention of the events in Diagon Alley. Hehehe. "He told me I was grounded until I was forty five and was very dramatic and ridiculous. But really it was my brother who surprised me the most. He sided with my father somewhat. He threatened to come to school WITH me and fight off any boys who came near me. Like I am stupid enough to let bad types around me or something," she said with a snort. Not of laughter, either. "Besides, I am sixteen years old. That's plenty old enough to do... that, yes?" BLUSH. And she wouldn't mind doing that again. Soon.

James Baron walked around Hogsmeade, looking around at all the nice shops. He'd only been there once before, with his cousins Adrianna and Maria, about two years ago. It hadn't really changed all that much from then, except now he was walking all alone.

Harvey watched her raise her eyebrows as she revealed that there may be one or two, time for Harvey to raise his eyebrows "I see.. but I am sure no-one can give you hugs like mine. Mine are just special like that" he chuckled jokingly knowing that his hugs werent too special, they were just normal Harvey hugs. But what she said next brought a grin to his face "You will? thats cool, I think I can handle being kept by you" he continued grinning as he looked at her, yeah who would complain about that when it was Ella that was with them. If people did complain, they were just... blind to how great this girl is. Just looking at her made his heart race, imagine if in the future they went all lovey.. he would probably faint or something. He watched her smile as he said that he couldnt be mad at her, he just couldn't!

Maybe it was partly him and partly the fact that he loved this girl.. ok so maybe it might not be love but it sure did feel like it. But he had made that mistake before thinking that he was in love when he wasnt. He watched her grin as she sad that even if she were planning something he wouldn't get to know "No? I wouldn't? You would hide something like that from me? your boyfriend" he asked almost kinda wiggling his eyebrows hinting at the fact that he should be told, but for some reason he knew that she wouldn't tell him cause half the fun was in finding out when she implemented her plan. So he wouldn't mind if she didn't want to tell him cause all he cared about was the fact that she was his girlfriend.

He saw her shrug and revealed that her father would probably figure it out "Yeah I agree, he may figure it out but at least you can say that you tried, even if it doesn't work. " she didn't like doing that "Well whenever they come over, maybe I can join you that way... you will feel better just knowing that I am there" ok so maybe.. maybe that was a bit too much. But he did know that having someone there could make you feel better and he was offering to be that person. He nodded "Yeah you should try it again, and if it still doesn't work... then... they just must be blind that they cant see how awesome your puppy dog look is. " he smiled cause he knew how awesome it was since he was right there looking at it. So maybe he might be a little biased... being her boyfriend and stuff.. Ella's boyfriend.. he still had a hard time believing thats who he was.

He then grinned with her as she said that blue was growing on her "Oh it is, is it? well thats good cause you will be seeing these blue eyes for some time yet, and I will be seeing your green ones. A win - win situation for the both of us, I see green you see blue.. two colors that we love or are beginning to love" he seriously was loving her eyes, whenever she smiled those eyes of hers always kind of twinkled in the light and that just made him want to look at her eyes forever. But he couldn't cause their common rooms were different so he would have to leave her, and also there was no guarantee to what their future was. He didn't want to plan the future, he had done in the past and had been hurt this time he just was taking it one day at a time so that he could enjoy every moment and every second he spent with this wonderful girl.

Ella smiled, shrugging her shoulders. "Oh I dunno...I guess yours might be better...might be." Grin. This teasing thing was quite fun, the third year was beginning to see why Edric liked to do it so much. Plus, she was only doing it to be funny, not to be mean. Mean teasing was horrible. As for Harvey being okay with her 'keeping him,' that was a good thing. "Brilliant. Consider yourself kept, then." And Ella gave his hand another squeeze, continuing their walk down the street.

The badger considered this point, face scrunched up in thought. Yes, he was her boyfriend Giggle now so perhaps he did get to know some of her detective secrets. Only some though, and certainly not ones involving him. "It's not hiding, exactly." Nope...more like keeping a secret. Ella was good at that. The eyebrow wiggling made her laugh and she nudged him with her shoulder gently, rolling her eyes at him. "Those won't work on me, Harvey Watson." She like invented the eyebrow wiggle or something. Okay...not really but still, she was an expert.

"True. Good point, Harvs. I'll give it a go." And Rich was going to have a tough time denying his daughter's mad puppy dog eyes-skills. That's for sure. Ella's eyes grew a little bigger when Harvey then offered to come hang out with her when her Gran had her acting group over. It was a nice offer, though the third year hadn't exactly considered what it would be like to introduce her dad to another boyfriend. Probably a bit strange, yeah? "Thanks for the offer, Harvs. I'm sure I'll need you to come and join me at some point." And she gave him a small smile. She appreciated that he'd sit through something as dull as her Gran's rehearsals for her.

"Right, win-win. We're pretty lucky then." Ella said cheerfully, bouncing a bit on the balls of her feet. And they were also pretty close to the castle now. Sheesh! They had already walked that far? Ella stopped short, forgetting that she was kind of dragging Harvey along with her. Hope he didn't mind slamming right into her...WHOOPS.

Harvey smiled and looked at her thoughfully "Are you sure about that? just might be? I think there is alot more than that, but ok if you say it might be then I will believe you" for now he added in his head. He would only know how she truly felt about his hugs when she had to hug him goodbye before they parted, that would be hard on him parting with her as they went their separate ways. He chuckled "Ok I will" he ten felt his hand being squeezed, that would soon be something he loved about Ella, her squeezing his hand like that. He looked at her as they continued walking down the street, it felt good to be walking like this hand in hand, kind of... romantic-like.

He listened to her as she giggled as well "Really? ok.. thats good then. So I can expect to know some of your plans soon" he smiled as his eyebrow wiggling made her laugh, not only that.. he got one of her famous Harvey-nudges.. yeah he named them. Cause she was nudging Harvey so they were now his Harvey-nudges, he then chuckled at her eye-rolling. He raised his eyebrows "They won't? oh darn! here I was thinking they would, but we will find something dont you worry" he chuckled as she used his full name, the only time anyone had used his full name was that if they were like mad at him or something. This was one of the only times that it was used in a positive sense, he smiled he could compliment her all day but he was just enjoying their walk right now so it was all good.

He nodded "Thats good that you will" he was happy that she was trying even if it didn't work. He watched her eyes grow wide at his offer, he smiled "No worries Ella, yeah sure no worries. I am always available for you to accompany you to your house" for whatever reason, she wanted him to turn up at her house. Well at least he had made the offer even she had rejected it, no-one could say that he hadn't offered her cause he had and he was happy about making it whether it was Ella or not. Afterall it couldn't be that horrible to go to her gran's thing.

He nodded in agreement "Yes we are lucky, to be together afterall as well as the eyes" he smiled she walked along with her, he watched her bounce on the balls of her feet. He was following behind Ella and didn't feel like he was a little more work, he was walking along when he suddenly slammed right into her and to stop her from falling by holding onto her "Oh I am sorry Ella, I didn't mean for that to happen.. are you ok?" he asked her as he continued to hold her making sure that she was ok.. was this one of his hugs yes it seemed to be cause thats what he believed anyways.

Kendall couldn't stop asking the questions on her mind. Physically, she couldn't. It was like she'd gone so long being all confused about what exactly they were and missing having him around to pester, that now she couldn't stop herself from asking the questions. Of course, the questions weren't exactly what she'd had on her mind for ages, but she still was going to think of it that way. Finally having straightened out everything else had brought her back to her normal annoying self, but then she really did want to figure out what exactly them being boyfriend and girlfriend meant. And she giggled as he'd answered her latest set of questions. "I hadn't said anything 'bout your notebook, but now I'm really curious what you didn't let me see," she replied. She'd been curious even in Diagon Alley this summer, when he'd kept hiding it from her and she'd thought about stealing it. Now she wouldn't have to, although that didn't stop her curiosity. "So what's in there? Besides stuff about your story and chocolate stuff." She knew that already, since he'd showed her parts of hisstory so she could draw a picture of the characters. Plus, of course the chocolate. She'd known about that practically since they'd met, and his experiments. Not to mention that he really didn't like people trying to steal his experimental chocolate. Although... Maybe I get to steal that now too, she thought.

Getting even more chocolate was always a good idea, and she grinned back at him as he'd reacted to her look. She liked this Patrick way better than the way he'd been since school started, but she also knew that had been because of this. Because of the wanting to kiss her and then thinking that she didn't like him back. That was over with, so now she got fun Patrick, and that almost got rid of everything from before. She didn't want the confusion back. And she swung their hands a bit more as he'd spoken. "I could've. If you hadn't made me feel all weird by kissing me and stuff," she teased. It really hadn't been that much chocolate, and she wasn't counting the big owl. She hadn't even figured out how to eat that, since breaking it apart seemed like she was killing it. Her eyes widened in excitement as he'd listed off what he had back at the castle, though. "You have more owls? And more truffles?" Why hadn't she known about that before? "Are you gonna make more fruit chocolate too sometime?," she added. As far as she was concerned, that was awesome too. Since fruit kinda meant it had to be healthy.

Ella looked at Harvey thoughtfully, eyebrow raised. "Am I sure...hmmm." Grin. "...You know I'm only teasing you, right? Your hugs are lovely." And she'd want lots of them, okay? Just saying.

"Really." Nod. "Yeah, if I make any plans I'll be sure to let you know first, kay?" The third year then gave the ravenclaw a small smile, continuing to pull him along down the street. He didn't mind, right? "Nope, I'm immune to the eyebrow wiggling, I think." But only because she was such an expert. BROWS. "You have more secret weapons, Harvs? I'm curious now..."And she'd be watching for said weapons as they continued hanging out. Watching very carefully.

"Yeah? Well...thanks, Harvs. I'm sure my Dad will want to mee-" Oh Merlin's beard. They'd already met, yeah? Right after their awkward talk before summer ended? That had been...really uncomfortable. EEP. "I mean get to know you better. He'd like that." And hopefully her Dad wouldn't be holding any grudges against Harvey because Ella had moped around for the remainder of the summer.

Ella fell forward a bit but luckily didn't land right on her face. Good save, Harvey! "My fault..." She said sheepishly, realizing that they were standing very close now. Blush. "I erm...just realized we're practically back at Hogwarts already. I'm sorry...and not hurt. Are you okay?" Cause if Ella had hurt Harvey already, she'd be pretty bummed out about it. "I um...maybe we should just walk back, then? We could go get hot chocolate in the great hall or something?" If he wanted, that is. "What do you think?"

Harvey looked at her as she was about to answer his question before saying that she was just teasing him "Oh! .. yeah.. yeah I .. I knew that" he lied a little.. he kind of did know that she was teasing him but he was a little not sure if she did love his hugs. He smiled as she said that his hugs were lovely "Yeah? good.. so we can both expect more hugs.. from each other" he chuckled a little as he looked at her knowing that she would expect more hugs from him.

He grinned "Yeah! .. then maybe.. I could.. help you out.. or something. But you can do some plans on your own too.. cause it can be more fun that way" he chuckled as she pulled him along as she said that she was immune to the eyebrow wiggles "Really? drat! I guess I have to find something that you are not immune enough to" he chuckled cause he found a little funny to be immune to eyebrow wiggles.. "Oh I might have a few" he chuckled as he puffed his chest out a little as he said this trying to show her that he might have a few things. "Well you will just have to wait and see wont you?" he chuckled some more.. as he followed her

He smiled as she thanked him and then stopped mid-sentence before amending it "Yeah thats true.. I guess it will be good to know each other. I mean our first meeting was not ideal but I would like to give him the opportunity to get to me better and show him that I am more than what he had seen before" he smiled cause it was true that he wanted her father to like him, not only cause of being Ella's friend but her boyfriend too. He was now getting a little nervous he just hoped that when he would meet her father that he would see who Harvey really was and not the guy that had made his daughter upset.

Harvey was just glad that she hadn't fallen and that he had caught her, phew! for a second there he had gotten a really big scare that he just reacted cause he didn't want her to get hurt from falling over. He looked at her as she said it was her fault, he then saw her blush at how close they were he smiled. He looked at her lips and wanted to do what was on his mind but then she started talking and he pushed that out of his mind.. they had only just started dating there was aot of time for that. He nodded as she listened to her "Yes even I had not realised that we had arrived at Hogwarts.. I guess.. that we just.. were busy with ... other things" like each other. They were so engrossed within each other that they hadnt realised that Hogwarts had arrived. He was relieved that she wasn't hurt, he smiled and shook his head "No I am fine too.. just glad that you are ok" he was glad that she hadn't fallen over and that he had caught her. He nodded "Yeah that sounds good to me, nice to hang out and have a nice chat over a hot drink." anything to hang out with her again.

Laura decided that she wanted to walk on her own she hadn't had a reply from her fake brother after owling him her important news, she was in love with another fifth year, but this one wasn't like the one she had last term and she knew Mick wouldn't be as mean as that guy what-his-name was with his makes-everyone-feel-sick girlfriend.

Laura looked around wondering what to do first, she wanted to spend sometime alone hoping to figure out what to put in her owl to her fake brother Aaron and hope he wasn't too mad with her, she also wanted to get her sister Lana something cool, she hadn't seen her for awhile.

Standing in the middle of the street at the entrance to hogsmeade wasn't strange at all right? meh. she scanned the entrance 'where is heeee?" she thought. she had the right day right? maybe he was just running late. twisting her Bat Ring on her right hand she turned around to look down the street of hogsmeade maybe she missed him and he was messing with her. it wouldn't surprise her. Chris was weird, but cool. Not a total loser like Cambridge or Cardigan. Pfft loserrrss

Running down the street, Christopher yelled back at his mum about being back at seven and scanned the area. He couldn't believe he was running late again! Stopping somewhere on the street, he stared down at his watch and made sure he was only five minutes late and not a whole fifteen. "ARIANA!!" He had just looked up and saw her waiting for him right in the middle. He jogged over and quickly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a big bear hug. "HI!!"

Ariana was about to just give up and walk into the nearest store. it was colder then you-know-who's heart out here! ugh ugh ugh Merlin Hurry Up Christopherrrrrr! Ariana zipped up her jacket a bit but made she her batman logo could still be seen cause you know batman was cool!
Ever since their last muggle studies lesson Ariana was intrested in these "super hero" things and did some research over christmas and batman was totally her new favorite thing ever. I mean becoming a super hero based off your worst fear.. totally terrifying.

And she gave up! she scanned the area one last time and lifted her right foot to begin walking when she heard her name being YELLED. She whipped her body around just in timed to be tackled by the boy. "ooff." she said as he slammed into her. She returned the hug of course wrapping her arms around him as well "CHHRRRIIISSS!" "I was beginning to think you'd never come!" she said to her friend as she poked his side one good time "that's for being lattttteee." no one ever kept ariana waiting in the coollld. net even chris. NO EXCEPTIONS!

He was so confused, first she was telling him to get off and then she was hugging him back! Shaking his head in confusion, he was about to mention how much he absolutely loved her Batman shirt, although a Superman shirt would have been way cooler, when he felt her finger poke his side annoyingly. The fifteen-year-old managed to scowl at her for about three seconds before he could no longer help himself. He burst out laughing and automatically cupped his side. "I didn't mean to do it!" He continued laughing and took a step back away from her. "I don't think that deserves a poke at all....ever."

Now he was frowning at her but could only hold it for a few seconds before beaming down at her. "I missed you!!" He began dancing in the middle of the street, not caring who was looking or making fun of him from inside all of the stores. Dancing around way too much, his beanie fell off of his head and he couldn't have cared less. "Dance with meeee!" He wasn't demanding or anything but she had agreed to dance with him at some point!

he missed her! he better have missed her it's been MONTHSS "you better have missed me!" heh she was funny. at least she thought she was. "and ou better of not meant to be late cause that would be mean!" and chris was not mean he was just a bit giant Teddy bear! YAY for teddies! She looked up at him he was like a giant in height compared to her "what should we do fi.."

She was cut by his random dancing she couldn't help but giggle at him. heh. then his beanie fell of and she picked it up for him. what if he stepped on it she then looked down and noted she was wearing heels which was nothing new but he didn't know that maybe she could say she couldn't dance in them! which would be a lie but..

then she remembered she promised him she'd dance with him "finneee." she said laughing and joined him in dancing in the middle of the street like a crazy person with no rythem. heh this was silly but there was really no one around so it was ok, right?

February was COLD. Taryn didn't like cold, she definitely liked warm weather and the lovely sunshine. Sunshine certainly did seem to be on her mind a lot lately. Supposedly, winters in Miami were nothing like the winters here, there was sun and warmth still.. at least that was what she'd heard, and that just so happened to be what it was like when she'd been there over the holiday break. These thoughts only seemed to multiply as Taryn stepped off to the side to avoid foot traffic while she adjusted her hat and gloves. She glanced around the snowy street and thought about sunshine.

....And also what sort of gum she was going to buy for Tori's birthday package.

He smirked at Ariana and wondered what would have happened if he WAS late on purpose. He knew a lot of people who liked to be....what was it called? Latebly fashiony or something? All he knew was that people showed up late on purpose all the time! "Have you always been this demanding?" He asked, mockingly, making sure to add a wink at the end. He could hardly believe this was the girl that had been yelling at him that one time. Now she was one of his best friends! "My mum always makes me late! She had washed my jumper and I couldn't find it anywhere!" His mum knew what he had been planning to wear, it really was her fault!

And as soon as Ariana began dancing he couldn't believe his eyes! She was dancing for him! Really dancing! He wasn't sure if he could dance with her as in friendly hand-holding-twirling buuuuut he grabbed her hands cautiously anyway and continued dancing! Laughing far too much, he had to admit that this was the absolute best trip to Hogsmeade he had had yet! Not counting that last time with Minnie but that was a different situation.

Slowing down the dancing so that he could catch his breath, he held the small pain in his side (because Chris is unreasonably unhealthy) and beamed. "Best dance...I've ever...h-had!!"

What was he doing here?

August Goldstein had told himself nearly a hundred times to stay away from the wizarding village of Hogsmeade just down the road from his old school Hogwarts but his parents had insisted that he make the trip there on his last day of holiday from Beuxbatons to see his friends. He would like to see his friend yes, but Auggie knew that his mother had meant Taryn.

He hadn't really talked to Taryn in, well pretty much since the summer. They had exchanged a few letters here and there and but nothing had really come of them. The Slytherin girl he had called his girlfriend for a long time had decided to break things off because of the distance and August still wasn't okay with it. Yeah, he understood where she was coming from but did she really have to break it off? What would she even do that for?

Just as he had resolved not to think of Taryn or to go looking for her for fear of what he would find and had decided to find Kurumi somewhere and suprise her, Taryn was there. Right there--standing in the street. What did he do?

August froze.

Well, bubblegum, of course. Taryn just shook her head and resolved. She wasn't about to stand out here any longer than she had, she didn't want to get sick again. The last time had lingered for a while and if Taryn was going to Miami.. she needed to NOT be sick.

With a decided nod, she turned to start walking to Honeydukes. She stepped around a boy and with a polite "Excuse me, please." Not paying attention to WHO it was. It wasn't like she'd been expecting him to show up here. HE was in FRANCE, smelly France. That was the problem. She barely got past him before she paused and turned around, walking back.

Yep. That was definitely him.

"....August?"
