Alec didn't really know how he felt about End of Term feasts. They were sad, yeah, especially when you see people crying because of the seventh years that were leaving. And he felt a little sad seeing something like that. But then again... it meant that summer was here, right? Yeah... and summer was always awesome! Feeling slightly better about... things, Alec walked into the Great Hall...
... only to find that it was fairly empty.
Oh. And to make things worse, the Hufflepuff table? Completely empty. So he'd end up sitting there alone. By himself. A loner. ... Great.
Despite this little fact though, the Hufflepuff wandered over towards the table and sat down towards the middle of the table. It had been a very weird year, hadn't it? What with all the things that have happened around the school. And not to mention his own, personal battles with... well... his feelings. He didn't like that word. Feelings. It always seemed to link to something bad or sad or... not very nice.
... Where was everyone? Namely, all of his friends? Because... they had to say goodbye for these two months, right? His grey-blue eyes darted up to the doors of the Great Hall and he watched, for a few seconds, as people he didn't know slowly made their way in. He shrugged and then looked down at his silver plate, his left elbow perched on the table and his chin resting in the palm of his hand.
Another term was ending! That didn't make Sophie sad, really, because it meant she was to spend many weeks with her family and Muggle friends back home! And she LOVED this!
The third year walked in the Great Hall smiling from ear to ear. That term had started off awful but it ended quite well! Perhaps even better than the last two terms?? Probably, yep! The girl knew most of her friends would be sad that night, because apparently that was how most people felt during the End of Term Feast. Sophie never felt that way and she actually knew she wouldn't be sad at all that night.
SHE WAS GOING TO SEE HER PARENTSSSSS SOON!! Woooooooo!!!
"Alec!!" Sophie exclaimed cheerfully when she spotted her friend sitting by himself. They were both pretty early, it seemed. Not a problem! "Nice term, this has been, right??" She asked grinning as she sat down next to him.
Looking around, she smiled some more at their house colours being all beautified by the sunset.

Ella had seriously debated hiding out and avoiding the end of term feast. She knew she had a lot to be excited about…the feast meant summer and that meant seeing her family, and no more homework, and more free time to spend with friends. It also meant the she’d get to sit with her best friends and have one last meal before they all went their separate ways for the summer. …But people were leaving… Very important people… And Ella Bishop did not do well with goodbyes.
After crying all morning and avoiding things, the third year dried her eyes and got ready to go. She even put on a smile because the blonde refused to make any of the graduating students feel any worse than they might already be feeling. Deep breath. She could do this.
…
Plopping down at the Hufflepuff table, Ella chewed on her lip as she placed the gift she had got for Max under the table. She wasn’t even sure she was ready to give it to him truthfully, knowing she was going to lose it as soon as he started opening the box. Meep. Why did this have to be so hard?
Her green eyes then found the staff table, noting the empty seats of those Professors who had been…Gulp. She closed her eyes and looked quickly away. That kind of stuff was stuff she didn’t care to remember about this term.
Oh! And Alec was here…she hadn’t even seen him. The third year smiled over at her friend and scooted down a bit so she was sitting across from him, making sure to take the gift with her. “H-hey Hair Whipper.” She said as cheerfully as she could. “Ready for summer?”
And Soph was here too? When had she arrived? Ella waved her friend over as she wanted her people right now. That would make this much easier. "Hi Sophie!"

Minerva walked in slowly to the end of term feast. She had never had so many emotions going through her for one feast. This term had exhausted her in more ways then one, but was a great term as well. They had made such a come back in points, they won the quidditch cup, she was dating Ethan those were all fantastic things, but then thinking about all the exhaustion from classes, being locked out of the common room, and that.. that plant she was ready to be away for a bit.
As she made her way towards the table she smiled at the three already there, "Hey Alec, Sophie, Ella, hope your all doing well tonight. Can't believe it's feast time already." No she really couldn't believe the feast was here. Sitting down she glanced around the room. She didn't see Ethan at the Claw table yet, but then her eyes hit the staff table and the empty two seats and she had to take a deep breath. She had thought about a small ribbon on her robes in their honor, but wasn't sure if it was allowed, so she decided to just think nice things about them instead. Turning back to her little group she tried to keep with conversation. "So any big plans for the summer? My little brother better be wanting to write me..." She eyed Alec and then laughed a bit.
End of the term already? CRAZY! Carigan sat at the Hufflepuff table, it seemed like she was busy with homework the whole year that she didn't get to hang out with her firends as much as she would have liked to. Maybe fourth year would bring her more socializing? Fingers crossed.

Awarlesta shuffled to her house table. She glanced around the Great Hall, this twisty feeling forming inside her. She couldn't believe that her first year was ending. She had grown so comfortable here and had come together with a new family.
Speaking of, she spotted Alec and Minnie, new friends that she had made this year and skipped over to them.
She ruffled Alec's hair and waved to Minnie, "Hey guys! Great job in Quidditch, Alec. Congratulations on your Seeker award!"
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Oakey into the great hall and looked above him to see the Blue and Bronze. They couldn't secure the House Cup this year, but they were so damn close at doing so. At least they got the Quidditch cup back he should write to Keefer telling him they won it back and Renesmee did a great job at doing so. That would require approaching Valentine and getting lots of cuts and scratches though.
As he moved to his table he looked at some of the faces that were already seated. Alec the champion seeker, Ella, Minerva, and there was Sophie. Oakey took his rightful place beside her and smiled."Heya guys." Oakey greeted them collectively. "I hope you're summers are gonna be great."
Then he turned completely facing Sophie."I wrote to Granny Gunter about you, and she says she could use another lady around the house" He gave a faint smile.
Laura couldn't believe her third year was already at an end, she was really looking forwards to the summer because she could sit back relax and chill out, she was looking forwards to her next year at Hogwarts, she sat down on her own well away from Oakey and Sophie, she wasn't in the mood to talk to her friends at the minute, so she would just wait for the Headmistress speech and then hopefully it wouldn't be long before it was the summer and she could speak more to her twinnie.
*Waves at everyone* Em's here to play with anyone that wants her.
Hufflepuff Forever Interstellar Hitchhiker
Emmaleigh glumly made her way to the closing feast. She had spent so much time trying to be encouraging about the future, she hadn’t realized how much she would be leaving behind, how much she would miss Hogwarts. Unlike most people, Em had just thrown her stuff into her trunk, and spent the afternoon aimlessly wandering the castle, and the grounds. She made sure to spend a considerable amount of time visiting all of her favorite spots like the Room of Requirement, the mirror on the fourth floor, the barns, quidditch pitch, and of course the lake. Now though, it was time for the closing feast, and so Em headed over to the Hufflepuff table and sat among those already gathered there. She sat there quietly looking down at the table drawing pictures with her fingers.
Sophie knew it. There the sad people came... "Hey, Ella!" The girl greeted her friend in a less cheerful tone, since it would be a bit rude to go all extremely happy when the blonde was sad because some friends were not coming back next term. Since Sophie didn't have 7th year friends, she wasn't feeling the same way, but weeell, she'd respect Ella's feelings. "You're okay, aren't you?" Obviously, apart from what Sophie already knew... "Summer is going to be brilliant! We could meet up again!" Because Sophie really wanted to see Ella's grandma on stage agaaaaain! It had been way too much fun last summer before everything bad started happening. Eep.
"Hi, Min!" The young badger smiled up at Minerva as their older friend approached and took a seat. "I know! This year flew by!" Which was great, in Sophie's opinion. Big plans for summer? Weeell... making sure it was great!completely different from last summer? Heh! "I hope I can see as many of my friends and relatives as possible!"Nod, nod! That was what made summer break good! "What about you?"
Oooooohhh!! Look who it was!! "Carigan!! I haven't seen you in a while!" Except in their dorms every night... well, sort of. Since they were forced to sleep in the Great Hall most of the term, Sophie had not seen her roommate so often as they used to. Sophie waaaaaved at her friend. "How are you?? Ready for summer break??" Heh, of course she was! Right?
Random girl she didn't know... how could Sophie not know another Hufflepuff??? Welp, that term had been a bit unusual... they didn't have their Common Room to socialize with their fellow housemates, so it made it all more difficult. Yep, that was the reason. "Helloooo!!" The third year waved again, this time to the little girl. "I'm Sophie! I don't think I know you!" Not officially, at least.
And before the unknown girl could reply to her, Sophie felt someone sitting right next to her and turned around to face... hiiiim! Heehee! "Haaai!"Grin! She was about to reply to his summer comment but her was already talking to her about something else. He seemed happy! That was GOOD! Because everyone else around them was a bit sad, apparently.
Anyway! He had owled home already?? That made Sophie blink a few times before giving a faint smile herself. "Sounds nice!" And it reminded Sophie she'd have to tell her parents too... because she hadn't yet, just because of her father. Maybe Ella was right and it would be best if she owled them giving them a heads up, to make things... a bit... less complicated when she got home. Would that even work?? Oh Merlin...! "You already know my dad, right?" It was a rhetorical question... kind of. Sophie didn't really know why she just said that, but yeah. Maybe she should try and prepare Oakey for... anything?
Oh, Meeerliiiiiiinnn.
But NOO! She wouldn't be sad nor worried. It was a FEAST! Sophie tried her best and BEAMED! at her housemates as more people approached the table. Oh! There was Laura!! The fourteen year-old was about to call out to her friend and waaave at her, but she froze before doing so. Oh.... oooohhhhhh..... Sophie gave Oakey a quick sideways glance.
Oh nooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Couldn't her life be a bit more simple now?? Merlin!
She could fix things, though. She so could! Everything would be fine in the end, yep. She just needed... some sort of plan.

Sixth year? Over already? In all seriousness, where was the time going? And so quickly? It was really something that Violet was trying her very best to grasp on, was she really going to be going into her seventh year already?! And not only that she was going to be 17 years old not too long from now, and that was something was again baffling her!
Not only that, in these next couple of months there was going to be something very important happening in Miss Violet Le Veela's life, aside from a very exciting birthday celebration (HINT HINT) comning, but a very important audition that could very well change Violet's life. Aside from the stress of preparing for her audition, Violet was going to try and keep her mind level-headed so that it wouldn't affect for her audition..Her audition for the Academy of Magical Arts in Galway, Ireland for Ballet!
She had already prepared what she song she would be performing to, and she had already begun to figure out what she'd like to do during that song, but she knew...that it had to perfect. Especially since the Dean of the Academy had come to recruit Violet over the holidays when she was home. So she felt that she definitely had to impress these people, and it was rather nerve-wracking! But again, that was something she didn't have to fully worry about...at least not for the moment.
...
Violet looked around the Great Hall smiling so brightly as she made her way towards the Hufflepuff table of golden yellow and black! She waved at everyone as she passed and squealed at a couple of her favorite underclassmen including Ella & Alec! "ELLY BEAN!" she hugged the younger blonde giving her luff and then she said,"Hello Alec!" giving him a hug as well with the same amount of luff given to her Elly Bean!
When she was going to sit beside Ella, a girl with red hair not too far from everyone had caught Violet's eye and she looked at her for a moment, noticing her tracing something with her fingers. She walked up to the girl, who looked like she was a little older than Violet and smiled politely saying,"Hello! Do you mind if I sit with you?"

As Belle was heading towards the feast, Belle felt kind of sad but it was bittersweet. She had an amazing 6th year being a prefect. She could not believe term went by so fast. She felt like just yesterday she was starting lessons and getting used to the feel of starting school. Now it was done and she was at the start of term feast?
Now Belle had to think of her seventh year. What will she do after hogwarts? Belle did not know yet. She did not want to think out it. But she had the internship to look forward to. As Belle was lost in her thoughts, she saw all her friends sitting at the table.

As Belle made her way towards Ella, Belle cleared her throat so she would not be rude, Belle smiled and said, "Hey Ella! I just wanted to check up on you and see how were things and by the way congrats on the quidditch cup win! I am very proud of you." Belle could not help it but show pride for her little puffs.

It was unbelieveable, the school year is already over and then it's back home with the family. Mick strolled around the Great Hall, looking at all of the happy faces at each of the tables. He couldn't help but smile himself, he didn't think he would like Hogwarts and now he doesn't want to leave. Then again, going back home won't be too bad. He'll get time spend time with dad, Ana, and Grampi...And Laura.
LAURA!
When he came by the Huffie-puffle table, he saw her, looking pretty as usual. It should be a joyous moment for Mick, but he began to feel sick to his stomach and stopped walking when he remembered the letter he got from his mother. A letter detailing of how his mother wants him to go on holiday with her this summer, since he didn't visit his mother during Christmas. Truthfully, he doesn't want to go but he doesn't want to hurt his mother's feelings again. You can't avoid it, she might understand. Mick knew that very well, but it still made him feel very bad about it. And what about his friends? He wants to hang out with everyone this summer. I'm not going... The last thought that ran through his head made him feel worse. He couldn't understand it, his mother isn't exactly his favorite person in the world and he's feeling guilty.
No matter! Despite his conflicted feelings about the summer, he forced a smile on his face and headed over to Huffie-puffle table, grabbing a seat next to Laura. "Hey there, girly," he cooed at her. And just like that, the grin wasn't forced anymore. He was genuinely happy. Whatever problems were going on before didn't matter anymore.

Too late.

"Hey Mr Handsome." Laura blushed she didn't know why.
Laura smiled at Mick when he called her girly, that was awesome. "Your so AWESOME!!" Laura stood up from her seat and quickly grabbed him into a big bear hug. "Now please tell what is wrong." Laura really couldn't wait to hear his answer, she wanted him to feel better.

End of the year feast. This was his second to last one. Next year...he'd be graduating. OHMYGOSH, it was creeping up on him sooooo fast! He also realized that this was the first year he was going to be able to do magic at home...man, his niece and nephew were going to be soooooo jealous.
He headed to the Hufflepuff table a little late, and the only open seat he could see was next to Bliss, the little second year he'd met while playing Quidditch. He smiled as he plopped down next to her. "Hey Bliss! How's it going?" he asked. He turned to the rest of the table and grinned.
"Hey everyone! Great job this term...we were SO close," he said with a small sigh, looking back at the hourglasses. Damn. Just a fewwwww points away from that house cup again.

Mick absolutely adored her, it was nice to know that Laura will always think he's awesome even when he doesn't feel that way. Who could dislike someone as cool as her? Elliot, for one. And that was another thing that has been bothering him for the last couple of days; he didn't know if it was right for him to get involved, but he wanted Laura and Elliot to tolerate each other. Or maybe he's in the wrong for being friends with Elliot, he didn't know. I'MMA SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Actually," Mick managed to say, "there a few things bothering me. My mother sent me a letter." He doesn't want to go on holiday with her because he already made summer plans, a regular joe would think that that's reasonable enough to understand. But a regular joe doesn't know Mick's mother, she has a way of getting what she wants. "Don't be alarm, but she wants to me to go away with her. And, frankly, I don't want to." He's spending the summer at home, and she'll just have to accept that. At least one of his issues is (almost) solved. He wanted to ask Laura about Elliot but he couldn't help but notice that she might have something on her mind too. "Are you okay?"

Laura looked at Mick and smiled, she really thought he was handsome and a really good friend, what he wouldn't be able to see her this summer? that wasn't very good, but they could meet up in Diagon Alley right near the end of the term. "Well if she wants you to go and your father wants you to go, I can meet your family another time." Laura hugged Mick. "If you really don't want to go maybe you could tell your mother?" Laura wasn't sure it would work but it was worth a shot. "Now what is the other thing that is bothering you?"
The end of another year. The end of an amazing, yet scary one too. Besides for everything that had happened with the plant and Isfret this year had been really good. Ness was finally with the one boy she had always wanted to be with, she had helped lead her team to a quidditch victory and she could truly say she was happy.
With her head still a little sore from a quidditch practice injuiry the one that stopped her from playing in the final match, the fifth year had to force herself a little before heading down to the great hall. She knew she had to be there though, especially with one of her closest of friends leaving Hogwarts forever. Not to mention she had to check that a special present would be delivered soon and of course she wanted to see her housemates too.
Pouting, the red head took her seat and placed her pygmy puff, that she had brought with, on the seat beside her. She looked around her table once and then turned around to look at the Gryffindor table where she tried to spot two certain people. No sign of them yet though, so for now she would wait. "Hey guys." She greeted some of the badgers around her.

Mick hugged Laura back, it was utter bliss as he held her in his arms. He had to admit, her suggestions were good ones, but he had the summer planned out. And that was one of his flaws, expecting things to turn out as plan and then feeling really upset when it doesn't. "My father says it's up to me," he gladly said. "And I'm not going. It may hurt her, but I really want to spend with my friends...And this girl I have a crush on." As he said the last part, he playfully winked at her. Ohgodohgodohgod! I told Laura that she's my crush. Well, everyone knows that, but still! His heart pounded feriociously and his face turned a subtle apple-red.
He kind of thought that she avoided his question, but maybe that was a sign that he can't avoid his other issue. He has to ask her about it soon, because he's thinking about inviting Elliot to his place too, and he doesn't want any problems later on. "L-Laura..." he looked down at his lap and gently bit the corner of his lower lip. What if she reacts the same way as Elliot did, when I told her that Laura's the girl I'm seeing? I won't know unless I say something. Mick glanced back at his best friend and cautiously grinned. "What do you think of Elliot Morganzo?" he muttered.

Laura looked at him. "AWWWWW MR AWESOME has a crush on a girl." Laura hugged him and then blushed. "I have a crush on a guy who's awesome, handsome and just plain nice." Laura giggled as she gave him a hug and then a kiss on the cheek, she really did love him, he was such a nice guy. "I want to spend time with you as well." Laura gave him a big smile.
*OOOOOOOOOOH*
The smile vanished of her face when he looked down at his lips, what was wrong with him and why was he so nervous, this wasn't a very good sign he wanted to ask her something really bad didn't he.
*OOOOOOOOOH*
"Did you just say who I think you did?" Laura looked around for her best friend Sophie. "SOPHIE!!!!!" Laura shouted "Can I borrow you for two seconds." Laura really wanted Mick to hear what had happened last term with Elliot dumping tea on them and other stuff it just wasn't right for her to be friends with someone like that. "I..eh..I..eh." Laura didn't want to upset Mick anymore. "I don't really like her." Laura hoped Mick wouldn't be cross.

Terry did feel slightly awkward as he made his green way over to a sea of yellow. He knew he was about to stand out like a sore thumb but the fact his best friend was over here made him feel a lot more comfortable. The Hufflepuffs looked a little more cheerful than some other houses, perhaps because of their recent victories but there were a few sad faces dotted around here and there, probably because of the graduates.
"Mind if I join you?" the Slytherin asked, smiling kindly at a few Hufflepuffs but focusing on Bliss mainly, whom he knew would be unable to refuse. "I don't bite, I promise" he chuckled. Blissy would be able to back him up on that right?
He hoped.

He stood around for a little while whilst he waited for a response and hoped that others might start to talk to him, even if the term was about to end, it was never too late to make friends. He decided not to sit down yet instead anyone else felt uncomfortable with him being there.

The expression on Laura's face was one that Mick doesn't think he has ever saw before. At that short second, he knew that he stepped on dangerous grounds, asking about Elliot Morganzo. All he wanted to know was why they're so cross with each other. Maybe I shouldn't invite Elliot over, but I don't want to come of as rude to her. But Laura wouldn't like that, and I don't want to hurt Laura's feelings...Would Elliot beat me up if I invite everyone but her? It seemed like no matter what, someone was going to get hurt.
Mick was about to take it all back and tell Laura to forget he even asked when she shouted for one of her friends, making him jump back in his seat...Only problem was that there was nothing behind him to keep him from falling to the floor on his back - *THUMP!*
