Adam bluuushed a little as Ronnie grabbed his hand. It felt oddly warm...or was that just his? Hem hem. Anywaaaaaays. I like that door. That's a niiiiiice door. "Born ready," he said with a nod. LESHGO.

Lana strolled causally down the corridor. She knew that she should be up in her common room brainstorming for ideas, but she needed a moment to herself. Plus, she was kind of hoping to run into her twin. The fifth floor was kind of a halfway point between the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff common rooms, so she hoped that Laura would be around or else she would just have to start roaming the other floors in search of her sister.

It had been days since they had really talked and she had a funny feeling that she needed to talk to her twin. Something just didn't sit well with her at the moment. It wasn't like the funny feelings that she had before, this was time it wasn't a menacing feeling. It wasn't like the previous years, no this time is felt like something was just eating away at something.

Shrugging, she continued to walk down the corridor humming to herself.

Laura was walking down the fifth floor corridor, she had been heading off towards the Ravenclaw Common Room to see if she could find someone to go in and get her twin sister out, she needed to talk to her and she needed to talk to her now.

Laura had been walking and thinking as she bumped into someone who was walking the other way. "I'm sorry." Laura smiled at the girl, she was that chewed up about her wand she didn't even see it was her sister. "I'm just heading off looking for my sister, I'm sorry to disturb you." Laura without even looking at the girls face, just stood looking at the floor waiting for the person to tell her off.

Lana continued humming to herself as she rounded a corner and ran right into someone. She hadn't even heard the noise of footsteps before it was too late. Stumbling slightly, she regained her balance and looked at the person before her.

Shaking her head, she laughed softly. Just the person she was looking for and it appeared Laura was looking for her as well.

"You do realize that the Ravenclaw common room is two floors up still, right?" she asked with a smile. They were still a ways from the Ravenclaw Common Room. "Good thing, your sister is here and you don't have to go up there."

Coming down to the fifth floor was such a great idea!

Laura was listening to the girl speaking. "I don't even know what floor I'm on." Laura giggled, "I just need to speak to my.............." Laura stopped as the girl said her sister was here she quickly looked up.

*Blush*

"LANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Laura flung herself at her twin sister, giving her twin sister a hug whilst letting the tears that had been building up flow, she was really upset lately and her twinnie hadn't been around to help her and now, well she was in a school without a wand which wasn't good. "I've missed you twinnie." Laura sighed, finally letting go of her twin sister and wiping her eyes.

Lana shook her head when she finally realised that Laura had no idea it was her she had run in to. That in itself was a bit of a red flag. Her sister was usually a bit more aware of who she ran into. Again, the funny feeling in the pit of her stomach started to act up. "This would be the fifth floor. Two floors below the Ravenclaw Common Room and six floors from the Hufflepuff one." Seriously, now that she thought about it; the fifth floor was no where near the middle point between the two common rooms.

Seeing her sister finally taking notice that it was her, Lana waved and smiled.

"Yes, that would be me." Hugging her sister back, she noticed the tears and frowned slightly. "What's wrong silly bean?" It wasn't really like Laura to be showing her emotions like this. Lana was the one that was more likely to show her emotions so freely and such. "I've missed you too, but tell me what's going on?" Something was not right and the funny feeling in her stomach was starting to make complete sense now.

Laura sighed at her twin sister. "I'm only two floor out." Okay so it wasn't very close but at least she was closer to the Ravenclaw Common Room than the Hufflepuff one, she looked at her twin sister for a couple of seconds before replying. "Some....Someone Broke my... wa....wa.." Laura was finding it hard to say the sentence. "Wand, mummy and daddy going to go mental." Laura sighed. "Professor Hadley." Laura could see the tears reforming in her eyes, she quickly hugged her twinnie, she wanted a cuddle from her twinnie.

Lana had to smiled none the less. The last time she had even seen Laura this far up in the castle was in their first year and it was because they were in the owlery. She had to give her sister credit for getting as far as the fifth floor. "Well, you almost made it. But luck for you, I met you almost half way." She really would have go down a few more floor to make it even, but Lana wasn't about to even bring that up now.

Blink. Blink.

It took a moment for Lana to complete process what Laura said. "Your wand? Someone actually broke it?" Who would go around breaking other people's wands? "How? Why?" It didn't make sense to her and she wanted answers. She needed to understand.

Giving her twin a hug, she attempted to calm her down. "Mummy and daddy will understand, I'm sure." Yes, they were probably going to go mental, but that would pass for sure. "And what about Professor Hadley?"

Laura looked at her sister and sat down on the floor, she was going to be here ages if her sister wanted the full story and so she had decided that she might as well make herself comfortable. "I was close." Laura sighed, she was still worried about what her sister would say about her wand.

"Yeah this first year, took it out of my pocket and said stupid people don't deserve wands and then she snapped it in front of me, so I called her a coward and we both ended up in detention." Laura didn't think that had been fair but she wasn't going to complain about that. "I ain't sure they will, they will tell me off for not looking after it when it's not my fault." Laura sighed, seriously she was sure her parents were going to tell her she was grounded.

Laura suddenly remembered that her twinnie was talking to her again. "Professor Hadley has got the wand at the minute, she's going to see if she can fix it." Laura was thankful for that but she was sure it would be able to be fixed. "I'm not sure there is anything she can do with the wand though."

Lana slowly sat down beside her twin and nodded. "Well, you made an effort and that is more than enough." It was a lot further than she had gotten herself, so Laura at least had that on her this time around. "Six floors isn't something you forget," she smiled.

Blink.

Listening, Lana was trying to keep her cool. What kind of first year would have the nerve to do such a thing? "Well, people like her shouldn't have wands either! That was very disrespectful of her to take your wand. Plus even more rude to say such things to you then snap it." Seriously, if it was her it happened to, calling the girl a coward wouldn't have even been the start of it. "I'm sorry you had to get detention with that vile person," she frowned. The though of Laura in detention was something Lana was used to, but this time was different. "Okay, they will more than likely be upset. Very upset, but it wasn't like you knew this was going to happen." Accidents happen all the time.

Lana nodded her head in understanding and smiled a little. "At least you know where it is and it's always possible it could be fixed. Anything is possibe, right?" She would keep her fingers crossed for her sister though.

Laura looked at Lana and giggled for the first time since she had meet up with her sister, "Just think even if I had got up all the way to the Ravenclaw Common Room, I would have been stuck until someone came out from the Ravenclaw Common Room and I could have asked them to go into it since there was no way I could sneak into it." Laura nudged her sister.

"That's what I thought." Laura sighed, "Though I didn't say anything to any of the Professor since they probably would have took like a million points off me." Laura sighed. "I don't know even when I'm innocent they seem to like telling me off." Laura blushed. "I'm sure if someone blow up a door or something and I was there, I would be the one to get detention even though it wasn't me that did it." Laura was sure she was getting a reputation as a troublemaker though she had no idea why.

"I know that, but I'm still expecting them to ground me." Laura was sure her daddy would be the one to ground her, she didn't know why but he seemed to hate her, though saying that it was confusing because he would do things with her but then other times he would just ignore her and concentrate on Lana. "I love you twinnie." Laura hugged her twin sister. "I've missed you too." Laura had missed these sort of chats, they used to do them all the time.

"Maybe your right and maybe Professor Hadley can mend the wand, she is good at things, and she is a great Head of House." Laura smiled, yeah she was saying that Professor Hadley was a good Head of House though she was a bit mean, giving her a detention for no apparent reason.

Lana couldn't help but laugh herself. Just the image of Laura waiting outside until someone came out of the Ravenclaw Common Room was funny to her. "You know you could have been waiting there for a while. There isn't much traffic that goes in and out." She know from her own personal experience that she didn't return to the common room that often when she had lessons all day. "Good think you found me when you did," she replied. Even if Laura had waited, Lana had a feeling that even her twin would have tried to sneak if it wasn't for the riddle that needed to be answered to enter. She personally enjoyed it,but it could annoy her twin.

Lana nodded and frowned a bit. It was unfair that Laura was continuously being punished, but in some cases she did deserve; yet in others, she didn't at all. "Well, it was best you keep your nose clean and not stir up more trouble. You know it takes the bigger person to take punishment when punishment isn't warranted." It was a more adult thing to just take the detention then try to fight it. Maybe her sister was really growing up. Eyeing her twin, she shook her head. "You know very well that if a door was to be blown up, you would be near and people would just assume it was you." Laura did have that kind of reputation already.

"You will be disappointed, but it's not like they are going to ground you forever." It was just a broken wand, not the end of the world. "If anything, if you get grounded, it will only be for a few days. I'm sure you not having your wand right now is punishment enough." She knew that if it was her, she would be beside herself. She had become very attached to her own wand and would feel lost without it. Returning her sister's hug, she smiled again. "I love you too, Silly Bean." It really was nice to talk to her sister again, like they used to before they started school.

"Anything is possible. I think if we remain positive, it will be good for us." Lana would keep up hope for her sister, but took a mental note to possible owl her parents and soften the blow for her sister. They could even possible have a replacement ready for Laura when they returned home for their winter break.

Laura looked at her twinnie. "I never thought about that." Laura giggled. "Saying that, we hardly go into the Hufflepuff common room when we have lessons unless we just decided to go for a walk." Or in case they had forgotten something but she wasn't going to tell her twin that, it would be a nightmare. "I'm glad I found you when I did." Laura snuggled into her sister, giving her a hug.

Laura looked at Lana and blushed. "Well you know you can't go fighting the Professor all the time." Laura sighed. "After awhile, they give you an ultimation be good or get chained to a wall and have slime going into your hair." Laura had hated that. "though after the last detention, I'd rather spend a month with Professor Lafay and Healer Tillstorm than have to see Alexa again." Laura sighed.

"You know that is true, I would be the one to get into trouble that is why I ain't going to be anywhere near if anyone does blow up a door, or I'll be hidding behind you." Laura giggled that would be fun to hide behind her, whilst the Professor tried to find out who did it.

"I know." Laura sighed. "If I get into trouble I'll take the punishment, though I don't know why everyone thinks I just misbehave." Laura wasn't happy about that. "I do actually work sometimes you know." She wasn't sure why everyone was suprised when she actually did do some work or helped someone. "And we'll just have to wait and see." Laura suddenly remembered something. "What do you think the suprise is mummy and daddy has for us this winters break?" Laura really wanted to know.

April 13th. Cora would remember that. Well, she actually NEVER forgot things like numbers and dates, so this would come in handy. It had been a while since Cora had a birthday to remember. But Elliot wanted her birthday too?

"August 3rd. I don't really celebrate my birthday," Cora said, very matter-of-fact. "I usually take a walk down to the pond behind my house. It's really pretty, actually. But nothing big." Of course Elliot would understand she why she never did too much. Cora still had such fond memories of birthdays. Her mother usually made a pretty cake for her birthday, so they were usually happy days. Simple.

Cora smiled as Elliot began, blushing a bit. OOoh! "That's great!" Cora exclaimed, happy for her. "Hmm, I don't think I know him. Maxwell Lupin. What year is he?" Cora doubted Elliot would have gone on a date with anyone younger, but Cora was still curious. While she would normally have been happy from the excitement of her friend, she was even more enthusiastic ever since she developed a...well...crush. Nothing major, but it still got Cora even more thrilled to hear about Elliot.

"Are you going to see him again?" She meant "see him" as in go out with him again, not as in ACTUALLY see him. Obviously. Cora needed to get more up to date with what to say about boys and things. The whole girl-talk thing had not really happened with her sister.

Lana nodded as she listened to Laura. "See what I mean. The Ravenclaw Common Room is so far up there, once we leave for the day; we usually don't return until the end of the day." There were way too many stairs to go up and down a day for anyone to have to make multiple trips all day. "I'm glad as well. I don't think you would have been too happy with waiting all day and night for me to come out of my common room."

Lana smiled and shook her head slightly. "Silly Bean, did I just hear you say that?" Did her twin just seriously say that she go around fighting with professors? That was probably the first grown-up thing she had ever heard come from Laura's mouth. "Well, sometimes an ultimatum is sometimes just what is needed." Lana had never really asked her sister about what her detentions were like, but she did know that her sister didn't have any lost feelings for their Potions professor or the school nurse. "You know, you really sound like you are growing up and I'm very proud of you."

Shaking her head again, Lana let out a small laugh. "I hardly doubt that hiding behind me will do you any good." Even if she tried, professors would still attempt to blame her sister due to her past. "Best to keep your nose clean and stay clear of all kinds of trouble Laura." She knew that Laura couldn't completely stop being who she was, but at least she was trying to be good and staying clear of trouble.

"You do realize that our first two years, you weren't exactly the perfect student and sometimes your reputation will always proceed you." Yes, her sister was a bit of a handful but that was before and she knew that Laura was trying to change now. "You will have to change people's minds about you and just keep on showing them that you aren't that troublemaker anymore," she nodded. It was very possible to change the opinions of people if she just keep being good.

Hearing the question, Lana thought for a moment and shrugged. "I'm not sure, but I think it will be fun. Daddy and mummy keep hinting in their last owl message about how we will enjoy it. I hope it's something really good." They hadn't had a really good surprise in a while and Lana thought they were really due for one.

Laura continued to snuggle into her sister. "I would have waited there a week if only in the end you came out to see me." Laura smiled. "I've missed you so much and I needed to talk to you." Laura was glad though she didn't have to wait because otherwise she would have been so cold.

Laura smiled at her sister. "I know, it strainge isn't it." Laura giggled, she was starting to grow up. "You know twinnie, you can't go around acting like a kid all the time we will be 14 soon and that means we are growning old." Laura sighed. "Though I can promise you now twinnie you won't be getting rid off me ever, were twinnie's and I'll be bothing you even when were fiffty." Laura was loving spending time with her sister.

"I believe your right there." Laura sighed. "Though if i'm behind you, maybe the Professor won't see me." Laura giggled she knew her sister was right, but her sister was a bit taller than her and a bit fatter though Laura wasn't going to say that to her sister.

"I know I let you down." Laura sighed, she was enjoying snuggling upto her sister, they should do this more oftence and she didn't care if anyone thought she was weird. "I'll try and do my best to make you proud." Yeah Laura was going to try and get loads of points this term and she was going to work hard.

"I know what you mean." Laura giggled, before deciding to mess about with her sister. "I'm going to try and play match-maker for you." Laura giggled, she was only messing with her twinnie. "Well I'm sure that it will be good." Laura was really looking forwards to this holiday.

August 3rd...maaan, they weren't in school yet.."We'll celebrate it next year, don't worry. I'll take you to eat at the best place in Europe," she smirked. Cora deserved it. And since it sounded like her birthday was usually such a casual occasion...she hoped the girl might like it be a big deal. Elliot's birthday USED to be a huge deal, but not since her brother had been born.

She sighed..."He's a fourth year, our year. He's...nice." Very nice. Something Elliot lacked. Why did the nice guys usually attract her, anyways? It was strange. The blonde tucked her hair behind her ears, and blushed just a biiiit. "OF course..we're...dating..." right. Duh, Cora? She raised her eyebrow at her friend...HELLO!! Hehehe.

And speaking of crushes..."So...dearest Cora, tell me," she had a smirk full of trouble on her face..."What is it with that Ethan guy?" she asked, trying to seem..casual. Elliot had a plan in mind...

hehehehe.

Cora was automatically excited about whatever she would do with Elliot for her birthday. Her eyes lit up. Cora was *SO* good at hiding her emotions sometimes. While she didn't mind the quiet birthdays she usually had, she was thrilled at the idea of doing something exciting. "I would love that," Cora replied. She tried not to act too enthusiastically, just a simple smile. It was silly for someone so bad at hiding feelings to be so quick to keep to herself. But that was Cora.

Cora blinked, slightly embarrassed she hadn't quite made the assumption that they were ACTUALLY dating. Better not to assume, right? Still, she was SO excited for Elliot. "Oh, that's great! I have GOT to meet him sometime." Cora wanted to see exactly what this boy looked like, and wanted to get to know him. Partly so that she would know who Elliot was talking about whenever she mentioned him. But part of the reason surprised Cora. She wanted to make sure he was, well, good for Elliot. She felt oddly protective, and while she knew Elliot would absolutely be able to make her own judgements, she did NOT want to see Elliot hurt at all. Ever.

That's what friends were for, right? "Guess I'll have to stalk the Gryffindor table during meals," Cora added with a smile. She obviously would be too nervous to go up to anyone there, but it would be fun to tease Elliot.

Cora's smile faded a bit with Elliot's quick change of topics. And of course, Cora turned bright red. Why do I have to be so pale? Cora thought. She was aware of the pinkish red she turned when her cheeks got hot. "Oh, Ethan," Cora's voice a bit higher in pitch than she was comfortable with, "Oh it's nothing." Ugh. Lying to Elliot again. Maybe more than nothing, she was dying to say. "Alright, we met in Herbology and he is the sweetest guy I've met." AND he doesn't completely ignore me. "But there's nothing going on." Surely Ethan would not actually like Cora, he was just being nice. Cora liked having him as a friend. Yep, that's what he was. Still, the idea of both Elliot and Cora having boyfriends made Cora's heart pound. Somehow the look on Elliot's face concerned Cora. What is she thinking?

Elliot smiled smugly. "Of course you will...my treat to you, Cora, dear," Cora made Elliot feel nicer, of course. Cora was too nice...to not be nice to. Not like Soapy, who was just ANNOYING.

Hehehe...she smirked.."Yeah, you would like him. He's nicer than I am, at least." Oh, and, "You two seem to agree on something...that I have a nice side..." she rolled her eyes. Whatever...this nice side only came out a few times...and usually only with Cora and Maxwell...the two nicest people she knew! She nodded.."Yeah. He's not really into school, though." She rolled her eyes and sighed. "I'm trying to change, that, though." Ehhh.


Elliot watched her...especially her eyes...and the blush was a DEAD giveaway.."Cora...come ON! He is totally into you as well!" she cried, putting her hands on Cora's shoulders and shaking her playfully. "Get with it! I have an awesome idea!" she cried. "I can TOTALLY set you guys up!" she cried, amazed at her own brilliance!!

Lana shook her head and smiled. "I'm sure someone would have come out when it was time for dinner or something," she replied. There was always the chance of that happening after all. "I've missed you too, Silly Bean." It really wasn't unusual for them to go without talking, but this year had been different and it looked like they would be in need of talking to each other a lot.

Lana pulled back and raised her hand to feel Laura's head. "You aren't sick are you? Because, you have never talk like this. You are starting to even sound like me," she laughed. She was the good one and the things coming from her twin's mouth did sound like something she would say. "We are family and you know that we are stuck together for life," she added with a smile. Yes, there were times that they didn't get along and moments that they fought a lot, but Lana could never really see her life without her twin. "I'm sure you will be bothering me well into our hundreds," she added as she nudged her twin.

Lana could only shake her head at her twin again. "You know the professors are a lot smarter than we give them credit for. They will know you were behind me." They used to be able to get away with hiding behind each other, but they weren't small any more and both of them were starting to look very different from each other.

"I'm not going to say you let me down," Lana frowned. It didn't need to be said and it was in the past as is. "I just know that you could of been a lot better, but that is the past and we will focus on the future." Laura was doing so much better this year and Lana was excited and happy for that. "You don't have to do anything for me, just be yourself and try to stay out of trouble," she smiled. If Laura didn't want to get points and stuff, that didn't bother Lana at all; she just didn't want to keep hearing about her twin in trouble. Yes, Lana liked being the good twin; but when there is a good twin, there has to be a bad twin as well.

Blink

Lana pulled back and looked at her twin. "Matchmaker?" Lana did not like the sound of that at all. "Silly Bean, do you think that is wise?" Boys had never really been on her radar and the thought of being matched up kind of made her a bit nerves.

Laura looked at her twinnie and giggled. "Maybe they would, well I hope someone would or it means that you are having a party without me twinnie." Laura pouted before giggling again. "See so you would come out eventually when you were hungry and I would wait all day if I had too."

Laura looked at Lana and pouted. "I'm not sick, I've not been taken by Aliens, I haven't be replaced by anything, I'm just me LAURA HOPE HYDE!!" Laura snapped at her sister before blushing. "I'm sorry twinnie, but your not the first to say I've changed, I've been pushed into a hot spring, asked weird questions and all because I'm trying to be good." Laura sighed. "It gets annoying after awhile.

Laura gave her twinnie a playful wink. "Yeah I will be, so don't you go moving far away, you have to live next door to me, so we can spend loads of time together." Yeah Laura would so love to do that, live next door to her twinnie, with all her best friends near by.

Laura giggled at her twinnie. "Matchmaking is coooooooooooooooooooool, I think I can find the perfect person for you." Laura giggled then she gave her twinnie a quick kiss on the forehead, "I love you twinnie." Laura looked at her twinnie. "We should do something." Laura smiled.

Damon walked through the corridor, not really having anything to do.

Taylor looked up from her book and spotted Damon. She smiled and got up, throwing her arms around Damon, "Hey." Tay beamed and kissed his cheek.

Damon hugged her back and kissed her forehead, "Hey, how're you doing?"

"Good and you?" She smiled at him and laughed. "Despite Ravvies losing." That she pouted at.
