Kurumi's cheeks were flushed and she wished that she could blame the healthy glow on account of her being tired from paddling. Nope. Not to much. Kurumi was rather embarrassed by the route which she had taken around the pole and it didn't help that some of the water had still be rippling as she had proceeded back to her team. Maaaaaaybe...no one had seen?

Doubtful.

Kurumi ended up blushing even MORE when a younger Hufflepuff called her Gryffindor Prefect and Kurumi pushed her bangs down over her face absently as if she were trying to hide herself but there really was no point. So, waddling over to the girl while watching the rest of her team proceed, Kurumi lowered her voice to speak to her. "I-It's Kurumi," she said cheeks still very flushed. So, no more Gryffindor Prefect, okay? Please?

Cheering and clapping as her team continued their efforts, Kurumi was also repeating the incantation over and over in her head while she hit the handle of her paddle against the ground. B sound...not V...NO wait...other way around. V sound not B...

And then it seemed like it was her turn again and Kurumi internally groaned. Still, her teammates were counting on her and, sigh, as an older student she needed to set an example. Or something like that. Maybe she could just mentally play off her first time around the pole as demonstrating what not to do?

Taking several deep breathes, Kurumi approached the shore and drew her wand. Breathe...juuuuuuuust breathe.... "Vegrandis Navis," she said, taking care to place proper emphasis where it was needed. Kurumi almost didn't realize that her accent hadn't gotten in the way this time until she had a coracle transfigured right in front of her. Oh, yay! Promptly pushing it into the water, Kurumi's adrenaline was pumping so much that she sort of leaped into the round boat and her paddle was in the water before anyone could say cookies.

Her course was still very much a zig zag this time as well, but her sweeping figure eight strokes were much more fluid that before. Progress...it was all about progress. As the pole approached her heart felt as though it were pumping pure adrenaline through her veins and she reached up to grab a ribbon when....oops...she gliiiiiiiiiiiided right underneath it and just barely touched it with her fingers.

Cure her and her vertical challenged-ness!

Jabbing her paddle into the water, Kurumi managed to make a wide U-turn and double back while making short strokes on either side to bring herself to a stop underneath it. Laying the paddle across the coracle, Kurumi slowly...veeeeeeeeeery slowly began to stand up with her arms out on either side for balance. Knees bent and the coracle rocking back and forth so much that the sixth year knew too much leaning to one side could cost her, she lifted her right hand up until it clasped around the ribbon and she tugged...

"Oh thank Merlin," she gasped when the ribbon came free and she practically collapsed back down into sitting position. Water splashed over the edges a bit, but it wasn't anything to be concerned about - save for her robes getting a little wet. Adrenaline pumping through her small frame so much that her ears were throbbing, Kurumi's paddling became more intense as she made her way back to the shore where she leaped out of the coracle and spriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinted back to her team with the ribbon clutched in her hands.

"Who wants the last ribbon?!" she chirped looking at her team before spotting the next person and tagging their hand. "Go get it!"

And now it was her turn again.

Sierra's hand tagged her and Nerida jumped up from her seat and picked up her wand from the ground. She again quickly placed a stick on the ground. Taking her wand she pointed it downward and made a full circle before saying, "Vegrand-IS Nav-IS". Soon after she had said the the coracle had been made. She grabbed the boat and the paddle and set the coracle into the lake, before getting inside it.

She began to row in the figure eight fashion, it was easier the second time around. She quickly reached the pole but this time she could not grab one. She looked up team two had three ribbons while team one was down to two ribbons. Drats they had a lead, a small one but it was a lead. She maneuvered the coracle around the pole and than began paddling back to the rest of team two. As she reached the shore she got out and tagged the next person and immediatly after sat down on the ground. "Come on team two we can do it!"

Come on team one! You can do this! You… Err. You go on and paddle those paddles! Right. Cause that sounded SO encouraging. Maybe if she just tried again… You’re the best boaters at Hogwarts!Really? If one were to get an award for being incredibly awkward, it would totally be Ella. At least the team was doing well! Oh! And Sophie had done SO well. BEAM.BEAM.BEAM. YAY SOPHIEEE! Ella didn’t mind sounding silly now, not when she was cheering for her bestie. That was allowed, y’know. Mhm.
Right, now seemed like a good time for her second lap so Ella got ready and when the next classmate came out, Ella was waiting to be tagged!

Running towards the little stick-thingy again, Ella pointed her wand at it and made the circular motion, picturing the boat in her mind. Oh yeah, she was a pro at this stuff now. Vergrand-IS Nav-IS! She called out, probably a little more enthusiastically than was necessary. Hey! They were playing a game her…enthusiasm was TOTALLY allowed. AND her boat was forming before her eyes. Heh. Best. Coracle. Ever. Now to get her puny arms to help paddle the team to victory!

Jumping into the boat, Ella made her way out into the water as quickly as she could, doing her best not to tip over. The whole paddling quickly thing wasn’t exactly Ella’s forte and she found that she was making more of a zig-zag pattern than her intended straight path. Meh, At least she was moving…BRIGHT SIDE! And hey! The pole thingy was coming at her quite quickly too. Erm…maybe a little too quickly…WHY wasn’t she turning?! Hey you paddle, help me turn! She demanded, glaring at the wooden object in her hands. Unfortunately, paddles weren’t very good listeners and the first year collided RIGHT INTO the pole. UGH.

Backing herself up a bit, the second year went forward once again and made her way AROUND the pole. Take that, Lap Two! And now to paddle ALL the way back to the shore. Wouldn’t be too hard or anything…nope!

With the thought that she’d be done once she made it back in her mind, Ella summoned all her strength (which was A LOT cause she was such a boating beast), and paddled ALL the way back to the edge of the water. Once there, she jumped out of the Coracle (a little more gracefully this time) and ran to tag the next teammate. Tag, you’re it! She called cheerfully. Come on Team Oneeee! Flail. Flail. Flail.

Kennedy had been quiet most of the lesson, only writing down information he thought was going to be useful and some times just writing as if he was on autopilot. When it was time to practice the spell he had difficulties concentrating on intention and had to retry about twice to transfigure the stick into a coracle. Though, his brain sort of warmed up by the time they had to practice the spell Talea and succeeded on transfiguring it on his second try.

The minute he heard teams, though, he raised his head only to find that they weren't going to be grouped by house.

Meeeeh.

Whatever. He just wanted to win. Kennedy listened to the instructions and made sure to remember everything, though it sounded fairly easy to do. The minute they had the go to get started Kennedy stood up and rolled his shirt's sleeves up to his elbows.

Time to win this game!

The Prefect whipped out his wand easily and pointed it at the toothpick. "Vergrandis Navis!" and traced a circle above it. Before his eyes the wooden object transfigured into a neat looking coracle. He stuck his hand inside it and made sure that his legs wouldn't go through it once he got on it in the water.

After making sure it was secure enough to use, Kennedy practically carried the boat thing into the water, eager to get started and help his team win. He saw as Sierra made her lap around and grinned. "Great job!" he said, with his hands on his face amplifying his voice. When she came back several others were tagged until it was finally his turn.

Kennedy boarded his coracle and paddled his way to the pole, the only thought in his mind was of winning. This wasn't his first time paddling, so it wasn't difficult to do, but he wobbled a few times. When he got as near as possible to the pole he reached up and untied the ribbon then flopped down onto the coracle making it wobble dangerously.

When he settled himself, Kennedy paddled his way around the pole and made his way back to shore. He jumped out of the coracle and tagged the next person in line. His foul mood forgotten now, Kennedy cheered the team on. "Come on, guys! Just a few more!" And they'd win.

Elliot, still dripping and panting, watched intently as that Gryffie prefect went..."Go...Kruuumeee!" she shouted, not entirely sure how to pronounce the name...it was a bit weird, after all. Then Ella went, and Elliot clapped some more..."Great Job, Ella!" she told the puffer...the nice puffer. Then Evil Pufferface went. Elliot's clapping suddenly ceased, and her smile slid off her face...fall into the lake...FALL! she yelled in her mind..but it didn't happen. Shucks. PErhaps the next lap...

Two more Claws went, both of which Elliot had known simply from classes..."Great job, Mika, Silvia!" she said nicely. Which was weird for Elliot...but this was a competition...and she needed to win. Or else. That Lion girl went again...then Ella...Elliot clapped politely for them...She decided to GO!

ELLIOT WAS OFF. She tagged hands with Ella and to the edge of the water. No more fear, she was all into the little race, now. She COULD SMELL THE WIN. "Vegrandiiiis Naviiiis!" she did the little circle motion...and the stick, once again, magically turned into the coracle boat. Elliot leapt into, more quickly than last time, and paddled as fast as she could. She couldn't grab the last ribbon, for she had already grabbed hers, but she still had to go FAAAST! She made it to the pole in record time (well, maybe not, but she felt proud of herself!) and made the turn smoothly...

It was the journey back to land that got to her. The boat began to rock more, now, for the waters were stirred up a lot. Elliot yelped, but kept paddling. Right when the boat was about to touch land, Elliot stood up to prepare to go out.

BAD. IDEA.

The boat tipped, flipping her right into the water. Since the lake wasn't too deep at this point, Elliot was able to regain her stature, but she looked TICKED. She groaned, running to tag the next person...she was soaking wet. Again. ANd not because of Evil Puffers this time...

She blew a wet piece of blonde hair from in front of her eyes..."WE BETTER WIN, TEAM ONE...OR ELSE!" she cheered loudly, for all of them to hear..."WE ONLY HAVE ONE LITTLE RIBBON LEFT!"

Beware the rage of the Little Morganzo.

Alyssa was getting excited. "Way to go Kennedy" when she saw Kennedy grab the 6th ribbon. Both teams were neck and neck trying to get their flags. Team one only had one more ribbon for grabs while their team still had two hanging on the flag pole. "Come on Team Two. We can do it. The game is not over yet!!" she called out in encouragement hoping that her remaining team members would get up the courage to get into their Coracles and paddle out there to retrieve the last two ribbons.

It was now Jory's turn. He looked down at the toothpick before him. He made the wand movement-a full circle over it then said "Vegrand-IS Nav-Is''. Then he quickly grabbed a paddle and pushed off.

Paddling in the figure eight method, Jory found it simple. "Thanks, Dad,'' he thought as he paddled as fast as he could. "For all those morning exercises."

He paddled and paddled and finally made it to the pole. Jory carefully stood up and began to stretch for one of the ribbons. "Almost there...'' His hand enclosed around it. "Got ya!'' He started paddling back to shore and tagged the next group member.

A boat race?

His icy blue gaze shifted across the lake as he listened to the Professor give the instructions. The spells wasnt too much of a problem for this Ravenclaw lad, reaching out for those ribbons would be, since it would mean he has to be partly standing in the boat floating on the water.

That sounded like a disaster waiting to happen...

But the race has started and he rushed to get his small clump of toothpicks from the supply pile. Going back to his transfiguration spot he drew one toothpick aside and aimed his wand ""Vegrandis Navis" he uttered with a circular turn of his arm. Immediately the toothpick spun in it place, curling end to end and expanding into the circular wooden boat. Quickly he took the next toothpick and lay it across the completed coracle, aiming his wand and drawing it across in a horizontal line and looped end "Talea". The paddle sprang from the toothpick on the ground. Alright he's got his gear on!

Granted.... he was probably one of those who didnt really like getting wet unless he was in proper swim gear, and right now he wasnt exactly in his standards of boat racing, so he cast an extra spell on his pants, his shirt and his shoes (he refuses to go bare foot at this time) and set coracle to water before stepping in.

The coracle dipped halfway into the water with his full weight in. As he waited his turn it checked to make sure it wasnt letting in water. Good. He wasnt going to sink, at least not sitting down.

And he's off! He started paddling down the lake with the bizarre paddle stroke, a little confusing at first but eventually got the hang of it. He made his way towards the structure that held the ribbons in place. As his coracle bumps gently on the wooden base he shakily stood in his boat, reaching out for the wooden structure to steady himself. Swiping the LAST ribbon with his other hand, he unsteadily fell back into his coracle, his elbow falling partly into the water.

Guuuhh clumsy...

He turned the coracle around and paddled back to shore as fast as his arms can turn do that strange figure eight stroke. Finally his coracle runs aground and he tags the next person waiting in his team.

She had a paddle, she had a wand and she was ready to win this thing. Taking her wand she waved it in the specific circular pattern around the debris of wood below her. ""Vergrandis Navis!" she cast the spell and the rubble began to jump and move quickly forming into yet another coracle.

She smiled as she shoved the boat into the water yet again it splashed against her legs, her little nautical hat still on her head. Because pfft she was awesome like that. Paddling out toward the beam and the ribbons she tried - tried to reach it.

Darn fluttering things.

She thought when she heard someone calling her name she couldn't help but smile. Yeah she was going to do this. She was going to WIN this thing.

"I'm too short" she frowned as she reached upwards toward the ribbon. Every time she moved to grab it the wind would change and the ribbon would slap across her face - which was now quite red with embarrassment. Honestly. It was like the ribbon wanted someone else to have a chance.

She didn't head back in just yet she tried yet another swipe to grab the ribbon her fingers graced it for just a moment before it slithered with the aid of the wind out of her grasp.

Then as she was about to attempt again she caught it, someone from her team. They had won. It finally sunk in.

Their team had finnished.

"YES" she screamed happily and paddled back toward the shore.

"We did it! Good job you guys!" She was excited and jumping up and down on the shoreline like a crazy little girl...or a kid who really had to pee.

Back on solid ground, Kurumi continued to cheer for her team. They were a great bunch and she couldn't help but laugh at each of them, playfully mind you, when they each took their turn making the loop.

Only that one Ravenclaw looked really upset. Erm...awkward... Maybe Kurumi should offer her cookies later?

And then another young Ravenclaw made her second loop and was jumping up and down about snatching another ribbon. Blinking in surprise for a moment, Kurumi couldn't help but blush for her when she saw what was in her hand. "Um...afraid that isn't a ribbon..." Kurumi whispered as she pointed to what looked like a colorful piece of seaweed in the girl's hand.

OOC: *points to the rules* we each can only take ONE ribbon need to wait for our GMT timezone people to wake up and give them a chance to participate as well *nods*

He had to do one more lap. Going back to his transfiguration spot he took another toothpick and made the circular wandstroke over it “Vegrandis Navis” he uttered, the tootpick transforming into the coracle for the next lap. He moved into the next toothpick and uttering "Talea", transformed that to the paddle.

Alright here we go again.

He set off across the lake for the second time, doing the figure eight stroke and making his way around the wooden structure, now devoid of any fluttering ribbons. He rounded the bend and started paddling furiously back towards the shore, with some of the water spilling into his boat. Finally the coracle runs against the ground, his arms falling painfully tired to his sides.

Are they done? Have all their team members gotten their second lap in?

Jory watched as Vickers got the last ribbon. "Great going, guys!'' he exclaimed as he transfigured the toothpick again. "Vegrand-IS Nav-Is" he said as he made a full circle around his head.

As soon as the coracle was formed he once again pushed off. He paddled quickly in the figure eight method and soon passed the pole.He went around it and paddled back to the shore.

Just one more! Who on their team had yet to grab a ribbon? The race was very close when Silvia's turn came again. She had her wand back out and ready when she was tagged, but she made sure not to rush the spell-casting; she didn't want to mess it up and spend even more time fixing it. Closing her eyes for a moment she once again concentrated on the image of a coracle. Then with a circular motion of her wand she said "Vegrandis Navis!" and in a few moments the coracle appeared in front of her. She quickly climbed in with her paddle after storing her wand and pushed off.

She was a bit faster this time, as she already knew what to expect from the steering. Still, she wasn't perfect, and her arms were still somewhat tired from her first lap. Sometimes Silvia found herself drifting too far to the side and had to adjust. But the pole finally came to be just ahead of her without mishap. Slowing down a bit, she did her best to steer around the pole. Her turn was a bit wide, but she made it. Her arms were sore and her steering began to get sloppy as she sped up and headed back to land.

Suddenly the boat rocked and her body jerked forward slightly. Quickly she stopped paddling and grabbed the side of the coracle, leaning down inside it and trying to maintain her balance. Luckily nothing worse happened and the coracle was stable again in just a few seconds, which was good seeing as the water here was deep and she couldn't swim. Taking a deep breath, she started off again, more slowly this time and careful to concentrate on the steering, even though her arms ached. When she approached the edge of the lake and the water was becoming shallow, she let out a last burst of energy and sped up until finally the coracle touched land. Silvia scrambled out and tagged the next person on her team.

Still watching and cheering for her teammates - except for Elliot -, Sophie kept bouncing and flailing her arms. It was a game, after all, right? Even though they were in a... class, it was still a game! They were supposed to have FUN! "YOU'RE DOING GREAT, GUUUYS!!!" She shouted, waving her arms as the others paddled away.

The Gryffindor prefect approached and the second year suddenly stopped flailing and looked at the older girl with wide eyes. Would she get in trouble for flailing and shouting??? Oh no! She opened her mouth to apologize but the Gryffindor just said something completely different from what Sophie was expecting. "Wha...? Oh, okay!" She was introducing herself! How nice! "It's nice to officially meet you, Kurumi! I'm Sophie!" Grin. The badger was glad she wasn't in trouble.

Though that little incident made her be a bit more careful this time - not that hard, since it was Elliot who was sailing again -, Sophie gasped and had to use all her might not to burst out laughing when the evil Ravenclaw fell into the lake. BWAHAHAHAHA! That was BRILLIANT! She shook her head and turned around to hide the fact that she was having a really hard time trying not to laugh. When she could finally control herself, the badger looked back at the lake and just clapped her hands as the other Ravenclaw reached out to get something from the pole. WAIT, NO! Sophie covered her mouth, then her eyes when the little girl came back. Ohnoooes! She had gotten another ribbon! They would get in trou- but the Gryffindor prefect, that is, Kurumi, said something about it not being the ribbon. Sophie looked at their direction and sighed in relief when she noticed it was a seaweed. They still had a chaaaance!!

When the oother Ravenclaw tagged her, the brunette rushed to the edge of the lake once more. Pointing her wand down at the toothpick aaagain, Sophie made the circle motion. WAIT! What was the incantation again??? She quickly looked around, but as soon as her gaze met Ella's eyes she remembered. Circular motion. "Vegrandis Navis!" She stepped back while a coracle appeared in front of her. QUICK! QUICK!

Sophie hopped on the coracle and started paddling as faaast as she could. Row, row, row, row, roooowww your booooooaaat!!! QUICK! She wanted to win that! For some odd reason her heart was racing and she felt like flailing about. She didn't, of course, because she wouldn't MOVE if she did that. This time her coracle wobbled a lot more, since she was trying to go as fast as she could. The pole was getting closer and closer!

She didn't mind if she looked silly, as long as she was sailing FAST! But when she finally started paddling around the pole, Sophie used so much strenght that she almost fell off the coracle. MERLIN! She froze wide eyed, grabbing the paddle really tightly. After a few deep breaths, she started paddling again, but in a... calmer way. Not completely slow, but not as a maniac like she was doing before. The last thing she wanted was to see grindylows and merpeople now.

Her classmates and professor were getting bigger and bigger now, which made Sophie smile and row a bit faster. When the coracle hit the edge, she held the sides of it and got up, stepping out of the little boat carefully. She didn't want to give Elliot reasons to laugh at her. Hmph. She quickly reached out to tag the next person.

After several more of his teammates circled the pole there were no more flags left. Kennedy smirked, but his attention was drawn away when a Hufflepuff boy got back to the shore. He still needed a second lap, so he took this as his 'go'.

Before walking past the Puffer boy, Kennedy patted his back once as a form of tagging him because he didn't want to be disqualified and then headed to get another toothpick.

Repeating the same process of waving his was in a circular motion above what would be the coracle, Kennedy said, "Vergrandis Navis!" He tapped his fingers of his left hand on his thigh, willing the toothpick to hurry up and transfigure.

Once the coracle was ready and Kennedy made sure he wasn't going to fall through it he pushed into the water and hoped inside it. Taking a firm hold of the paddle, Kennedy paddled like he never paddled before. He looped around the pole and made his way back.

This was great exercise for his arms, though right they were tired. When he reached the shore once more, he grinned at his teammates and tagged the next person. Come on, did the win, yet?

Louisa spent the time when her teammates had to do their laps stretching and cheering for the person struggling with their coracle. As soon as Kennedy grinned at them and tagged her, Louisa gave him the thumbs-up and hurried to take her wand out from her waistband, without any extra special effects like before. She pointed at the stick in front of her and contemplated doing the spell non-verbally but quickly decided against it. They were in a contest and the last thing her teammates would want was for her to try new things out now. Hehe.

"Vergrandis Navis," moving her wand in a circular motion, her head buzzing with the image of the coracle she'd gotten before. VOILA! The stick burst into the needed boat immediately causing Louisa to smirk as she dragged it onto the shore and dropped it into the water. She tucked her wand in, grabbed her paddle and put her first foot into the coracle, ignoring the slight sways, she put her second foot spreading out her arms so that she kept her balance and didn't mess the whole thing up. Falling down on her knees helped with the balance issue more and she hastily dropped the paddle in the water and started paddling her way toward the ribbon-free pole.

Her arms were used to the activity by then and she knew how to use the paddle without hitting the coracle so many times. In two minutes, Louisa reached the pole, she playfully poked it once and then started stirring her coracle around, grunting feebly as she did so, then she went back to paddling again and this time toward her teammates. She looked at them and offered a big grin, if her calculations were right it was only Nigel's second lap and they'd win. This gave her more motivation and she started going faster, her arm and chest muscles starting to complain but the Ravenclaw ignored them.

Reaching the shore, Louisa stumbled out of the coracle - never the graceful one - and with a small laugh she tagged the next person. OR DID THEY WIN?

With one ribbon left but her teammates looking exhausted, Kurumi swallowed her fear and stepped up to the shore once again. She must be losing her mind to willingly go back out there again...but she was...and she must be insane. Which is also why she put her nautical hat on her head for this task.

Tracing a circular pattern over the materials again and took a deep breath. She was NOT going to mess up the incantation this time...NO WAY! "Vergrandis Navis," she said with the most confidence she had all lesson. The confidence in her voice was probably the cause for the transfiguration going as smoothly as it did and in no time at all she had a coracle resting on the ground in front of her.

Without another moment of hesitation, Kurumi hunched over and pushed it into the water with her paddle grasped in the other hand and once again leaped into the device. Figure eights...remember fluid and sweeping figure eights...

Only her movements were anything put sweeping as her heart pounded nervously in her chest. Kurumi made her way back out to the pole and, unlike last time, stopped herself underneath the ribbon and slowly stood up once more to grab it. Having done so, she clutched it fiercely in her hand as she proceeded to paddle back towards the shore...still making zig zags all over the lake as she did so, but at least they were more consistent this time.

When she felt the bottom of the coracle hit the shore, Kurumi leaped out of it and rushed back to her team with the final ribbon in her hands and tagged the next teammate. It all came down to the young Slytherin now and her completing her final lap.

And they were off!

Pretty quickly too. Isabelle supposed that was to do with the youth being on their side. They probably had more energy that she did. Although she'd like to think she had good upper arm strength. Going on tip toe, she took a piece of parchment and quill out of the box on the ground and began to tick off names and laps and ribbons as they came in. Every so often she reverted a coracle back when one of the kids made it back to dry land, ready for when they had to go again.

Both teams were neck and neck so far, with just one ribbon and a few laps left for them to do. Talking of which, she should probably update them on how they were doing. "Mister Barrington, you still have one lap left to do for team two! And Miss Somerlad, same for you for team one. Anyone that has completed their laps, please do cheer on your team mates - or even come over this side and continue practice if you like. You can even keep paddling around by the side here to test your creations a little more." Isabelle grinned slyly at that. How many of them would actually do THAT? So few seemed to actually want to be in the water for too long.







OOC: I've been told that the people who haven't posted yet are very busy in RL. As this lesson is due to run until tomorrow, I shall give them until late tonight to make a first post, and until tomorrow afternoon GMT to make their second. If they don't make any today then my next post will include who the winner is - if everyone else has posted twice. Feel free to encourage or even have your character go around again if you like. Only two laps will count towards the game, doing more won't win it for you, but lesson points are awarded for participation/practice/post quality etc...

The moment Kurumi arrived! She was tagged. She jumped up and put a stick down. Holding her wand and pointing it down at the stick, "Vegrandi..Navis!" this time she didn't forget the movement. She waved her wand drawing a circle. A coracle was forming . Watching it and the moment it was fully formed. She picked it up and put it down the lake jumping into it. It made a jolt! Do not panic..she told herself. She needed to control herself.

Breath…she did as she started paddling. She was still feeling the soreness in her arms. Don't think of this..focus on your breath. She was looking at the pole and whispering to herself..in…out..in…out, ignoring her sore arms.
As she got closer to the pole ,she was trying to decide which ribbon she could best reach. She didn't have much of a choice now that most of the ribbons are collected. She locked her eyes on the most likely that could be caught by her.

As she reached the pole there wasn't any ribbons left. So she only had to turn around the pole .but when turning around the pole The coracle was tilting to the left too much, She automatically tilted her body to the opposite direction and she was safe.

She barely took her breath and she was pedaling back! She was so happy that she had made the turn but the soreness was unbearable now. She slowed down without meaning to for her arms were harder to control.

She bit her lip harder urging herself forward, you're almost there don't mess it up! She said on her own head. Again concentrating on her breath and locking her eyes on her friends she was paddling the fastest she could do.

And when Cassia reached her destination she stumbled out of the coracle and tagged whoever was standing near her. I'm done now! She congratulated herself silently as she turned to watch who she tagged.

Nigel was now ready to do his lap. He quickly pointed his wand to the stick again. made the full circle motion, and said "Vergrandis Navis" confidently. He was sure it was going to work this time. It it and he now again had his boat.

He carefully got into and set off to do his lap with his paddle. He hoped the he would not go around in circles in his boat. That would suck. He paddle as fast as he could and managed to make it around the ribbon thingy.

He was so happy he did not have to waste the energy and actually have to grab a ribbon. He set on making it back to shore. This was not as easy as Nigel thought. But he had to do it. He tried his hardest to make it back as fast as he could. But he was getting a little sick with the boat rocking and such. But he did not think it would amount to anything.

Once he reached his destination, he got out of his boat and tagged the next person before falling down again. He was now glad he finished this thing.

By the time it was Sarah's turn to go, all the ribbons had been taken. Nevertheless she decided to go anyway. She pointed her wand at the stick and did the now familiar wand movement, "Vegrand-IS Nav-IS" she said, and the coracle began to form. Sarah was getting less amazed at this feat at time went on. Although it was pretty cool how the stick bent and filled up. Thankfully her boat had no holes. She got on the boat and began to paddle frantically towards the pole. Yeah.. it was muh easier to paddle by yourself. And faster too, as she reached th epole in record time. She turned around and headed back to the next person.

Oh merlin! This was going to be humiliating. They were playing a game with these spells they had just learned. This only meant one thing and that was chaos. Renesmee hadn’t exactly managed to perfect the spell yet, and she could only hope that she’d manage to get it correct during this game.

With plenty of focus, Nessie watched as all her teammates began performing the spell and the rowing away to collect their ribbons. It was going by rather fast and the game was very close to a tie. Then before she knew it, it was her turn.

Whaaaa! This was so terrifying.

As fast as she could, Nessie placed her stick before her on the ground and pointed her wand at it. "Ta-lea" she said and then did the straight wand movement, with a loop at the end. This time she had actually gotten it right and instead of a wooden spoon, the stick had actually turned into a proper paddle. Yay! She had done it! Now all she had to do was make her coracle.

The red head took her second stick placed it on the ground like she had done with her first. "Vergrand-IS Nav-IS!" she said emphasizing the ‘is’ and using a circular movement with her wand. Once again her luck was on her good side. With a wide beam, Renesmee watched as her stick transformed into a coracle. She had done it again! Wow! Maybe Transfiguration wasn’t so hard after all?

Now rushing, the Hufflepuff hoped into the boatlike coracle and rowed away. She rowed all the way to the pole and then quickly rowed back. She didn’t like rowing the boat this fast, but she didn’t exactly want to let her team down. Now finished with her first lap, she got out her coracle and tagged the next person, happy she hadn’t fallen into the water. That would have been bad.

It was her turn again. Yay! Sarah quite liked it... yet that meant that she had to make her boat again. Not that she minded, practice makes permance and perfect!

"Vergrand-IS Nav-IS!" she said, wand pointing to the stick and the circular movement in the air and all that jazz. (I don't want to bore you with details). Yes, yet again a coracle appeared, its roundness so perfect.

She eagerly clambered into her boat, sat down on the plank and rowed in the direction of the poles. She really was enjoying her self in the water... the water below her, the calm and serinity and all so she did not go was fast as she had before. She reached the pole and headed back and tagged the next person. This was great. By now the racing was over so Sarah leisurely made her way back. Yet her arms ached a bit.

It was her second turn already?

After having turned her coracle back to its usual self, Nessie waited in line for her turn again. Before even a few moments passed, she was in the front had just been tagged. Okay. She could do this again.

Placing the stick on the ground again, Nessie prepared for her second lap. "Vergrand-IS Nav-IS!" She said as she used all her focus and performed the spell again, just as she did before. It once again worked its magic and a coracle developed before her.

Now ready, Nessie climbed into her coracle and took her paddle with as she began rowing. She had reached the pole rather quickly, but she struggled on her way back. The fast rowing was a bit much for her and she was feeling a little unstable. She was beginning to worry about falling, but before she could worry much she was by land again. Thank Merlin for that. She climbed out of her coracle and beamed. She was just happy to be done with the whole thing.

Upon arrival back at shore, Sarah thanke d Alyssa for her kind words. Sarah decided to try out the boat again. She really loved it. She got in and started paddling about in the water. This was fun. And relaxing, there was no where that she was in haste to got to, which was great! She rested her arms for a bit and just sat there, her boat drifting in the water - relaxed.
