Maxwell took a seat by the willow, reading his copy of 'The Hobbit' it was a chilly February afternoon..

Ronnie walked down to the Whomping Willow, shivering a little. It was still rather cold outside, she should of worn a scarf or something. Ronnie got cold so easily. Jeez.

As she got nearer to the Willow, she spotted Maxwell sitting by himself reading a book. She realized right then that she hadn't talked to him in forever, so she ran up to him and plopped down next to him. "Hiya, Maxwell!" she said with a smile. "Whatcha reading?" she asked, pointing at the book in his hands.

Maxwell looked up and smiled. "Hey, Ronnie..I'm reading the Hobbit." He said showing her the cover of the book. "How are you? we haven't talked in a while." He said knowing he didn't send much time in the common room anymore.

"The Hobbit..." Ronnie repeated thoughtfully. "I've heard of that! Is it any good?" she asked curiously. It was an interesting title...she wondered what it was about.

"I've been very good! Yeah we haven't! Where have you been?" she joked, nudging him lightly in the stomach with her elbow. She chuckled. "So what about you? How have you been?"

Maxwell nodded. "It's really good, one of my favorites.." He said folding over his page to save it.

He smirked. "I've been around, Min has me running about trying to go to every class, doing every bit of homework i can...but i don't care she's worth it..." He said with a stupid smile thinking of Minnie, he couldn't help but smile when she was on his mind.

Tay giggled and smiled at her, "Okay..."

The warming charms placed all over his body, João strolled down the grounds absent-mindedly, not aware where he was going. It was fine as long as he followed the snow, and he raised his head only when he arrived at the Whomping Willow. He stared at the tree for a moment and looked at the people around. None of them he recognised. Better. Picking a stone from the ground, he bent down and rolled it into the snow, expecting it to turn into a big snow ball... but it didn't. He frowned, trying again. Wasn't this how they made a snowman? They rolled snow, and rolled, and rolled until it was as big as a lorry's wheel? His stone, on the other hand, melted the snow. He squatted down and picked another stone... though the result was the same.

How did the OTHERS manage to make snowman if stones were no use?

Wrapping her Gryffindor cloak around herself and hair in a long, dark pony tail, Lea Carter made her way down to the grounds from the lions' common room. Her plan was ready in mind; she was going to make a snow creature of her own and make it ATTACK to the Whomping Willow. So the Whomping Willow could see who was the boss.

She walked fast to the certain place enjoying the way how she made footprints on the snow. They were the prettiest looking footprints ever, because they were hers. Ha! When she was finally there, she chose some area away from the others there BUT the next moment a boy-*shrudder*- a boy just had to walk in her perfect area for her creature.

Narrowing her dark brown eyes, she watched the boy play with stones a bit. She took a few more steps closer to see what he was trying to do then next, she was unable to hold her laughter.

''HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!''

Apparently the poor boy needed help. But Lea was not going to help him until he would beg for it.

''You look too old to be playing with stones, i say.''

HAHAHA?!

WHAT THE--!?

João quickly raised his head, looking around to spot the laughing person. That was obviously addressed at him and..! There she was, already speaking to reveal herself. He narrowed his eyes to avoid the glamour of the snow.

"I'm not playing with stones," he said as he got up to tower over the girl with his 1.82 posture. "I'm trying to make a snowman." So, like, go away. Now?

Lea was still grinning when the boy turned to see her. Now he seemed to be big but that, of course, did not intimidate Lea Carter. Quite the opposite, her grin widened and she took one step closer and carefully looked up at his face for a moment or so without saying a word then...

''Ooooh! Are not you handsome?'' she said all in a sudden, giggling rather loudly right after it. So, the handsome boy was trying to make a snowman. ''A snowman, really?'' Had not he ever tried to make a snowman before? Lea had no idea what the stones were for. Perhaps he was planning to use them as the snowman's eyes. ''I can teach you!!! You don't need to play with stones for that.''

Nose in the air, she walked past him and took a handful of snow. ''Ready?''

She was grinning even more widely. João frowned to himself. Kids these days... they were just too--

She even complimented him! That totally left João speechless and perplexed as he blinked at the girl, frown still on. "Well--thank you," he said after a while, getting red in the process. She even giggled loudly! He looked around to see if anyone giggled at that. If they did--he was going to hex them like they have never seen. This kid wasn't intimidated by him and even complimented him accompanied with giggles. He either had to go away or enforce his own authority, because she was already holding the reigns of this encounter. He opted for the latter, and shifted his weight after his redness subsided.

"Yes, I am ready," he said, folding his arms as if he was going to supervise how she was going to do it. Being taught how to make a snowman by a little girl... at least she was self-confident, that it wasn't so bad. He hoped. He would be alert for anyone to drop by, of course, though... just in case they laughed at him.

"Awesome. I'll have to read it sometime then." she said with a smile, watching as he folded over his page.

Ronnie grinned at the look on Maxwell's face when he talked about Minnie. Aww. . . they were so cute. "Eck. I hate homework." she finally said after a while. She laughed. "I don't care who I'm doing it with. I just can't stand it." she said chuckling.

Minerva skipped down to the willow she wanted to sneak off to her favorite hiding place, but noticed Maxwell and Ronnie talking. "Hey guys, how are you?" She leaned and kissed Maxwell on the cheek and gave Ronnie a hug. "Haven't seen you in forever how are you?" She smiled at Ronnie trying to figure out the last time she saw her. "Why haven't I seen you in so long. I know I've been sick, but I've missed you."

Ronnie smiled as Minnie walked up to them. "Hiya, Minnie!" she said, hugging her friend back. "I'm doing....good." she replied with a nod. "You've been sick?! How come I never heard about this?" she asked, cocking her head. Hmm. No one ever informed her on this. Hmmmmm....

Minerva smiled at her friend, "I'm sorry Ronnie, it was just when we came back from break. I was stuck in the dorm for a little over a week. It was horrible. I missed a ton of classes, and missed time with friends and especially missed Maxwell." Minerva smiled looked at Maxwell and then back to Ronnie. "So what have you been up to? How are classes treating you?"

Maxwell nodded. "Yeah i'm not a fan of it, but Min makes everything fun.." He said with the same smile.

Maxwell turned his head and his heart beat a little faster seeing Minerva. "Hey, sweetie You look so cute.." He said with a toothy grin like a small child walking into a candy store.

"Ohh. I'm terribly sorry that you were sick!" Ronnie said with a frown. Ugh. Being sick was the worst...well...sometimes. You got to miss work .........But then you had to catch up. *sigh*

"Well, they're alright I guess." Ronnie said shrugging. She was never a real big fan of work...unless you were talking about DADA or Potions. Everything else? BLEH. "What about you?" she asked.


Ronnie smiled. "Of course she does!" she said chuckling. Minnie was pretty awesome. She grinned at what Maxwell said to Minnie. That was cute. *sigh* She wished she could have someone say that to her.

Was that for real? Did the big boy really blush?

Lea giggled even LOUDER. Was not he cute? Normally the little Gryffindor girl would think boys were gross but this one...he was different. Yup. She would surely say that he was cute. Not looking gross at all. He did not smell gross, either, since she had not smelt anything funny on him yet. That was good GOOD.

He was ready then. Nice. Looking all proud of herself now, the little teacher Lea eyed him once more before bending down and shaping a snowball in her hands. Then she rose and showed him the snowball. ''Look cute stone boy. This is a snowball. You make it the way i just did using snow. This is the beginning of our snow masterpiece.''

But then she remembered that she had had other plans and they did not include a snowman. She seemed to be in thought for a moment, then she looked up back to the boy and wore her cutest smile. ''What about we do something more interesting? I mean, snowmen are boring.'' and they were 'men' ''Everyone makes them oh so easily. Why don't we create a super wild creature that would make everyone its small frozen meal?''

RAWR.

Oh. She was embarrassing himself. Himself and herself both, but what worried João was the 'himself' part with her constant giggles that seemed to be getting louder with everything he said. He looked around again to make sure there was no one of importance. Once started, he had to get away with the girl, because she was exactly the type to torture him if he cowed now. He had to admit--she was sweet but...

...better no Louisa, Adam, Paulie or Aspen made a visit to here now.

Oh goodness, she just had to add her comments in, didn't she? "My name is João," he said quickly, so that she would avoid using silly nick-names. Hopefully. It was a weak attempt, but the only thing he could do.

To show her he was listening, he nodded once and just HAD TO break into a short laughter when she called their lousy snowman 'masterpiece'. So this was how they made a snowman... with a snowball, not with a stone! Marvellous. He was deep in thought for a moment too when he saw her smile and couldn't help but get suspicious.

It was hard not to drop the face and laugh hard at her. It wasn't a nasty laugh, though. He was clearly amused by her description.

"Yes, sure, scary lady." See? It even rhymed! "Any specific creatures in mind?"

Ariana sat a bit away from the willow sporting her slytherin attire for the day writing in her notebook

Taylor came walking down to the williow, just wanting fresh air before meeting up with Damon. She was a bit dressy but hey, she didnt want to change before she sees her boyfriend. Tay noticed Ariana. Great... an evil slytherin...

Ari noticed tay "meeting the queen?" she asked sarcastically regarding her clothing choice for the day

Taylor muttered something in Scottish and looked to her. "No, I am meeting up with Damon, not that it is any of your business though." Tay placed her hands on her hips. "I dont see why you care."

Ariana smirked before closing her notebook and putting it into her bag. she then stood and put an arm around Taylor's shoulder "because were Family and family Cares right?" she said emphasizing family and cares

Taylor's nose wrinkled in disgust as Ariana put her arm around her. She quickly shrugged it off and stepped away from her cousin. "Yeah, sure."
