Alyssa laughed when she realized that it was girls vs boys. "Sorry Laura. Wrong target.". Now that she new the rules... Which there were one, she quickly bent down and scooped as much snow that she could gather. She rolled the snowball around to make it bigger but realized that this was taking too much time.

So she stood back, took out her wand, pointed it at the snowball and said,"Engorgio". A beam shot out and hit the ball which immediately began to grow. Alyssa concentrated on the spell until the snowball was a large as a bulldozer and then she ended the enlargement spell by saying,"Finite".

Alyssa grinned as she then pointed her wand at the gigantic snowball and levitated it by saying,"Wingardium Leviosa".

The SNOWBALL lifted off the ground and Alyssa lifted it up high before directing over where the boys were huddled. When it hovered directly over them, she ended the spell and let the GIANT BULLDOZER SIZED SNOWBALL drop right on top of them.

GIANT GIANT SPLATTT!!!

"NOOOOOOOOO!"

What were the girls DOING?! This was NOT fair at all! They were meant to be ladies! And they were meant to be going easy on the boys because there wasn't a lot of them to begin with. It was not fair to be attacking them like this! Especially his hair! There were only so many times he could flip it to get the snow out.

... Was this part of their plan?!

At Rose's words, Alec picked up a bunch of snowballs and started throwing them, one after the other, to each of the girls. That's right. They weren't going to be showing ANY mercy! None whatsoever! He ducked some more and threw the rest as hard and fast and accurately as he could. "Rose, do you think you could do what they did?" You know, with the snowballs and making loads at once. That would be cool, too.

Okay so now this was a magical snowball fight? But Ella was just trying to make Blue feel better about not using spells! No matter, Ella made a point to pick up one of the bigger snowballs that she could still hold without magic and sent it flying towards the boy she didn't know. Who was he? One of Alec's friends perhaps? Well it didn't really matter who he was at the moment. Nope. All that mattered is what he was. And that was a BOY. She mustered all her quaffle throwing skills and sent the large snowball sailing towards this boy, headed right for his back. TEE-HEE

And then...AND THEN...the hair ruffle! Bahahah! The second year burst out laughing, pointing to show the other girls. All she could make out was Alec's beautiful head of hair flipping over the bench. AND to make things So much more funny, her snowball had hit him right in the head! How perfect!

When Sophie started multiplying the number of snowballs they had, Ella's eyes grew large. WOAH! Were they meant to throw ALL those snowballs? Well if so, Ella better get to work. The small second year began picking up as many snowballs as she could and whipping them towards the boys' fort, hoping they were taking people out (without hurting them, of course!).

And Lyss was here too? "Hey Alyssa!" She called between all the throwing and ducking!

Theodore made a noise of pure terror, then looked over at Blue who was looking just as freaked out as he was. THIS WAS NOT FAIR. THEY WERE FIRST YEARS.

The boy leaped away from the fort as the bajillion of snowballs hurtled their way.

YEAH. GOODBYE, BOYS TEAM.

"BLUE. COME ON, WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER HERE."

Maybe if they were both catastrophically bad at magic here, they could blow a few Hufflepuffs up, or something? Too much?

Laura looked at the pill of snow ball she was making and then giggled as she said another spell, this time the snowballs where zooming all over the place, everywhere. "EVERYONE DUCK!!!" Laura said as she realised that she couldn't stop them from going all over the place, they were even hitting the whomping willow and they were flying past everywhere. "How do I stop them Sophie?" Yeah Sophie was the person good at spells.

Rose nodded. 'Of course, easily.' SHE WAS ACTUALLY COMING IN HANDY! WOO! She smiled and waved her wand, duplicating snowballs by the bunch, blinking as she was soon surrounded in them. Then she made them bigger and squeezed in, surrounded and squished by them. Well, she hadn't thought that through. She waved her wand and made a few chuck over at the girls, stepping through the hole she had made, grinning whilst ducking any snowballs that were aimed at them all. She needed to make this fort taller... So that's what she set out to do. If the boys wanted more snowballs, all they had to do was ask, but she was going to make this fort bigger. It meant a shield!

AND WHOA. THEODORE HAD LEFT THE TEAM. So much for team spirit! Well, she wasn't quitting this team, she didn't want to be on the same team as Mean Girl... That was a bit silly, but she was slightly scared of this girl trying to murder her at some point during the night, or her telling the Hospital Wing to take her in as a mental patient. She didn't deserve to go there YET.

If I disappear, I'm asleep. ._.

ARGH.

This was all a bit too much.

"THEO!"

She looked frantically between Ella, Sophie and Laura to her bestie. Who to choose?!?! The snowballs were too big and scary now and Blue was pretty sure the Gemini spell was that any time the object was touched it duplicated. And, somewhere in all the mayhem, Blue had lost her hat.

HER LOVELY HAT.

NOOO.

WHAT TO DO?!?!

WHO TO CHOOSE?!?!



If she or Theo used magic...well, despite her Ravenclaw-ness, the outcome would not be good.

Sophie was laughing and laughing when suddenly A BILLION SNOWBALLS STARTED ZOOMING AROUND!

"WHAT'S HAPPENING???" She shouted ducking and looking up frightened. Who had done that???

Then she heard Laura asking for her help. Oh, Laura!! She stood up and pointed her wand upwards and waved it. "FINITE INCANTATEM!!"

She watched the snowballs dropping and just now realised that the snowball war was pretty much getting out of control!

Oops...

Rose looked down at her watch and yelped. SHE WAS SO LATE. SHE WAS GOING TO BE KILLED. Rose looked at the young Hufflepuff, feeling slightly bad. She couldn't leave the poor boy... He would have no one... She sighed and sat behind the fort, putting a hand to her head. So. Much. Noise. She did not do noise. Or crowds. They scared her, a lot. And the noise was slowly escalating, and it was starting to freak her out slightly. Noise. Too much. Kill her now.

Was Blue unsure as to whether to join him? Theodore gaped at her for a moment, but soon ducked onto the floor and covered his head from the falling snowballs. It was RAINING snowballs.

What the.......

Sophie was like a WHIZ at these spells.

Theodore was not standing for it anymore. He stood up, pulled out his wand and shouted with all his might, "WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA!" A small snowball floated toward the sky and shot it's way to Sophie's head.

"OH MY GOD. I DID MAGIC."

Even if it was a really tragic.

Sophie was now trying to catch her breath again. She blinked a couple of times and looked around at everyone. They were looking like maniacs! That was not cool!

"You guys, what have we done?? THAT WAS MADNESS!!" She said half-scared, half-amused. She didn't know whether to laugh or to get worried. Was anyone hurt?? "Is everyone alright?" She asked taking a few steps towards the boy's fort.

And then Theo's snowball hit her head again. Whadda? "Theodore!" She eyed him seriously, in a scolding tone. Mehehehe! That should freak him out a bit. A few seconds later she started giggling again.

"THEEEOOOOODOOOREEE! YOU DID MAGIC!"

BEAM PROUDLY.

Yes. She had made her decision. The second years had said they wouldn't use magic and had gone ahead and used it anyway. Blue ran towards Theo as best as she could in the thick snow. She stumbled slightly but got there in the end. Her robes were soaking and Blue was slightly blue with the cold at this stage.

Panting slightly, her teeth chattering, Blue asked:

"C-can I b-be on your team, Theo?"

This was much better anyway. She had wanted to be with her bestie from the start.

Alyssa yelled over to Theodore. "Hey Theodore. Look up" just as the Giant Bulldozer sized snowball came down on him and the others.

... WHAT?!

That dude! He was leaving them! WHY WAS HE GOING TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT FOR?! "Dude!" Alec called out, his eyes wide in horror, "Why are you leaving us?!" Especially for the Blue girl. This was not right! They were going to win against those girls! And then they were going to get those ice cream sundaes they so rightfully deserved. Yeah!

IT WAS RAINING SNOWBALLS!

Alec gasped as he ducked out of the way. He sat up slightly and watched the Theo boy sending some snowballs flying over towards Sophie. So... he was back? "Dude! We have shelter!" Something, Alec noticed, the girls didn't seem to have. Now wasn't this interesting.

"Erm... what's going on?" he asked, "Aren't we playing anymore?" Or were they going to continue? Because the second year was really really confused about all of this. Because... there were still snowballs flying around! But Sophie was stopping things! Alec ruffled his hair as he looked on at the battleground they had created. Not cool, totally not cool.

THAT WAS A HUGE, GIANT, SNOWBALL! ... Lyssie?! How?! This wasn't fair! "DUUUUCCCCKKKKK!" he yelled, wrapping an arm around Rose and bending down. Hopefully the Theo kid would be okay. And the Blue girl. Yeah... now they needed to get their own revenge! The girls were not going to get away so easily!

YES. IT HIT SOPHIE. "HA! Ha.. ha, haaaaaaaaaar." He was sane, promise.

"Course you can, Blue!" He pulled her over to their fort, then ducked. But... who was this new Hufflepuff? She was... aiming for... oh merlin.

Theodore looked up at the biggest snowball he had ever seen and it thwacked him to the ground. And knocked him out.

Yup.

The little first year was actually knocked out.

Sophie's eyes grew WIIIIDE when she saw Alyssa's snowball flying towards the boys. IT'SGONNAKILLTHEM!!!

When the gigantic thing finally hit its target, Sophie froze.

"ARE YOU ALL ALRIGHT??" She asked loudly, taking a few more steps towards them

OH NOOOOOOOOOO.

NONONONO.

"YOU KNOCKED HIM OUT!!!!"



Blue''s eyes were wide as she sat down next to Theodore and stared at him in shock. WHAT SHOULD SHE DO?!?!

Should she slap him?

That's what the did in the movies, riiiiiiight?

"UM.... HEEEEELP."

Ella was kind of in shock, or at least she thought this was what shock must have felt like. Didn't people go into shock when something crazy happened to them? Well this snowball fight was certainly starting to get crazy!

She watched, eyes wide, as Laura sent snowballs zooming in every direction and dove to the ground, narrowly missing one of the larger snowballs that had whizzed past her head. Merlin's beard! Maybe using magic had been a BAD idea. Even if it seemed to give the girls the better advantage. She was relieved when Sophie helped Laura get things under control again, that meant they could start playing again without worry, yeah?

The second year laughed when Sophie tried to talk sense into everyone and then got hit with a snowball. WAIT! Had little lurker just done magic? D'aww! She momentarily forgot about the battle to call over to the boy. "That was a good one, Theo!" And she smirked at Sophie, knowing she thought it was funny too.

Ella noticed that Blue decided to abandon ship and go with her friend. Honestly, she couldn't blame the girl. "Boys, Blue wants to be with you guys now, okay?" She called cheerfully from behind the bush. She didn't want the little girl to think she was mad or anything.

She heard Alec ask if the snowball fight was still going on and stepped out from behind the bush, snowball in hand, and sent it flying towards him. "Does that answer your question?" She said with a small smile.

But then-Theo? Little Lurker? She ran forwards toward the little boy who looked like he was dead. He wasn't dead, right? RIGHT?

She knelt down beside the boy and shook him, "Theo? Theo are you okay?"

Laura looked around at the girls and then decided that the fort had to go but how, suddenly she had an idea, "wingardium leviosa!!" Laura smiled as the fort started to move but boy was it big. "SOPHIE!!, I need you help with this and Ella I need your too." Laura sighed trying to stop the thing from falling to the ground, why had she thought this was a good idea, suddenly she lost control of the thing and it fell to the floor and the biggest snow barrier ever knocked her out.

Sophie heard Blue calling for help and that made her get even more worried. She started running - or at least trying to - to the boy's fort to help her out with Theo.

Then Laura called her again. "Can't help you now, Laura!" She yelled back when she reached Blue and Theo and started digging.

After a few seconds she stopped and stood up. What was she doing?? She pointed her wand at the pile of snow. Swish and flick! "Wingardium Leviosa!"

Theodore's eyes fluttered open but he could only see stars.

He guessed that the reason he got knocked out was partly to do with his recent illness. He was soooooooo ill, so a bulldozer-sized snowball impacting his small body would do him no favors.

"Ohhhhh............ I'm fiiiiiiiine." He grinned, but his eyes were still wandering about everywhere.

"Peachy keeeeeeeeeen."

He looked down at himself. Oh, there was snow everywhere.

HOUSTON! We've got a PROBLEM!

And a huge one at that! The Theo kid was down! NO NO NO NO NO! What were they going to do now? And how could a single snowball knock someone out? Alec stood up and stared at the ground between the boys and he girls. This was wrong. All very wrong.

Ella... she sent a snowball at him! Alec gasped as it ended up hitting him on arm. Yikes! This girl had a seriously good aim! But he was still confused about his question. Was the snowball fight still going on or not? Because it did seem like it was. "Not really!" he called out, "But that was a good throw!" See? He could be nice when he was trying to win something. Absolutely.

But the Theo dude... Alec stumbled out from behind the bench and skidded over towards the young boy. "Theo? Can you hear me?" Or them. Or something.

... And the dude opened his eyes! So Alec's voice had worked? Really? That was awesome! Peachy what now? "You need any help?" Or did he need to sit out? Because him and Rose could do this. And Blue too, seeing as she had now joined their team. And if Theo wasn't feeling too great... a snowball fight wouldn't make him any better.

Siiigh in relief.

"You're okay, Theodore." Blue said, pointing out the obvious. Merlin, she was scared he had DIED for a moment there. She didn't want her bestie to die. But she couldn't let anyone see how upset him being half dead had made her so she gave a scowl and stood up abruptly, brushing off snow.

"Why'd ya do that Theeeeoooo?" She asked, as though he had meant to be knocked out.

"Do ya need to go to the hospital wing?"

When Alyssa saw that Theodore was knocked out by her snowball, she quickly ran over to help him.

"Geez! Stop with the screaming for help. Do you want ALL of us to get into trouble. Theodore is not dead. Just knocked out" Alyssa told the girl.

Then she smiled when Theodore woke up. "Are you okay there? Sorry about that. You don't look like you have anything broken. And I would advice going to the hospital wing unless you seriously are injured because I know that the Healer doesn't take too kindly too people getting hurt while clowning around."

"I am fine." He informed Alec with a point of his finger. "I am fine, I am fine." It was only a snowball. Granted, it was a BULLDOZER snowball, but you know.. Just frozen water.

"Nuuuuu...." No hospital. "I feel fine." He pulled himself to his feet, stumbled a bit, but was standing. "See?"

But there was the girl that had knocked him out!

Theo's eyes widened in fear, and he flinched back away from her. "If you're trying to kill me....... you.... won't succeed." Cos... cos... if she was, then she'd receive real SLYTHERIN WRATH.
